In Jacoby's apartment, he was sitting on his couch eating popcorn as he watched a romantic comedy movie. He ate a handful of popcorn then he said,"I should be having dates like this. Well, not completely like this because I don't want to get shot at but I deserve a relationship."

"What you deserve is to become a foot stool or better yet a crash test dummy.",Balrog said as she appeared behind Jacoby, causing the man to shout in terror and stand up to turn to her. Jacoby held his popcorn close then said,"Balrog?! What are you doing here?!"

"I'm here to get something from you obviously.",Balrog said rudely as she neared Jacoby.

"Oh… uh what would that be? I don't have anything you'd want Balrog. I don't have money and jewels like Hezekiah, food like Voria, heck I don't even have an ego like Adonis. So what could I give to you?",Jacoby said in fear as he backed into a wall. Balrog chuckled rather sinisterly then she put her hand on Jacoby's shoulder and began squeezing, causing him wince and whimper.

At Devon's home, Rose and Devon were currently in Devon's backyard wearing a burgundy shirt and blue jean cut off shorts. Devon was wearing a white and blue baseball shirt, blue jeans and white laceless vans.

Devon had a questioning expression on his face as he watched Rose put her hair back in a ponytail, eventually saying,"Okay, why am I out here with you? Don't you usually do your training alone?"

"I usually do but, I need your help because I want to be ready for when I fight Jacoby and the others.",Rose said while stepping in front of Devon. Devon, continuing to have his questioning gaze, nodded then said,"How am I going to help you? I know how to fight but I don't know how to do all that… martial arts stuff you do."

"Who says we're fighting? I need you to be a… that bag I see in those places you call a gym.",Rose said while getting in a ready stance. Devon's expression changed to being worried and surprised by Rose's answer then he said,"Wait, Wait wait! I don't want to be a punching bag. Rose!"

Rose threw a roundhouse kick at Devon and he braced himself to be hit by the kick. Suddenly, Devon's eyes changed to being light blue and he caught Rose's kick then tossed her to the side. Rose stopped on her back and she sat up before saying in a joyfully surprised tone,"Whoa, nice one Devon."

Devon relaxed himself, his eyes changing back to being green, then he said,"Huh, what happened?"

Rose walked over to Devon with a smile on her face and she said,"That was amazing Devon. I thought you didn't know how to fight like me but you were being modest."

Devon raised an eyebrow while looking at Rose as he asked,"What are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about how you just caught my kick then tossed me away. Come on Dev, don't act like you didn't just do that.",Rose said while playfully hitting Devon in his arm. Devon nodded with a hesitant smirk while he thought,"Why can't I remember doing that?"

An hour or so later, Devon and Rose were on the bus together, having taken a shower and changed clothes in Rose's case. Rose now wore a blue baseball jersey, blue jean shorts and black sandals. Devon was scrolling through his phone then said,"Okay, what is your plan for us being out today?"

"My plan is find Jacoby and make him squeal.",Rose said with utmost confidence. Devon raised an eyebrow in a questioning gaze as he said,"That's not a plan, that's a goal."

"Eh, same thing. Either way I'm getting that bastard one way or another. After him, I move on to the others.",Rose said with determination, malice and some sorrow. Devon put his phone away then asked in a caring tone,"I know we haven't known each other too long but mind telling me about what your life was like? Before the whole getting sacrificed thing."

Rose's expression began to change as she began to reminiscence on her life before. She then said,"It was great. There was a lush forest around our kingdom and everyone in it was so kind, thanks to the king's example. Then there was me and the others, we were tasked with defending the kingdom from demons and other supernatural things. There were times where we didn't come back for weeks but we had the best times. weeks because the demon we were dealing with was so tough. Those were good times."

Devon looked at Rose with empathy and care then he said,"Sounds like you miss those times."

"I do. I really do.",Rose said while looking at her hands. She then gained a determined expression while her eyes glowed blue. "But now I want revenge on each of them and I'll start with Jacoby."

Devon just stared at Rose then he gained a surprised expression when he began to see a dark red aura radiate from her. He looked around the bus, seeing that no one was noticing and he thought,"How is no one seeing this?"

"What's wrong?",Rose asked Devon while facing him. Devon shook his head then said,"Nothing."

It was then that the bus stopped abruptly and everyone on board began to rise from their seats. Devon and Rose looked at every other passenger then they were shocked when they all began fighting one another. The two looked at one another then they had to fend off passengers trying to fight them. Devon pushed a woman back into her seat then he ducked under a punch and made his way to the door by crawling. Rose punched a man in the face then she pushed her way through the crowd.

Once Rose and Devon were off the bus, Devon stood up before he said,"The heck was that about?"

"I don't know, you're the one from this time period not me.",Rose said with an angered tone. Devon raised an eyebrow then said,"Uh okay. No need to get angry Rose."

"I'm not angry! Just…. wait a minute, why am I getting so angry?",Rose said, realizing that her anger was rising just by her standing there. Devon's eyes then flashed blue as he heard a dignified yet caring voice say,"One is near."

"Huh?",Devon questioned while looking behind him. Rose looked at Devon with confusion then she felt a surging tingling and she said,"Ow! There's a demon nearby, tingling feeling now feels like I'm getting stabbed a bunch!" in frustration.

Devon nodded then he looked up and saw Balrog walking towards him and Rose with smoke coming off of her and a wicked smirk on her face. Rose looked towards Balrog and she said with anger,"Balrog."

"Hey Rosebud, been so long since we've seen each other. Let's catch up.",Balrog said as she stopped not too far from Rose and Devon. Devon leaned down to whisper in Rose's ear,"I'm gonna assume that she was a part of your team because I know her as world class MMA fighter Beth Allison Rogers."

"She was and her real name is Balrog.",Rose said, never taking her angered gaze off of Balrog. Balrog chuckled then she said,"Glad you remember me Rosebud. Thought you'd have forgotten after being trapped in Hell for three thousand years. How was that by the way?"

"It was it's namesake.",Rose said while gritting her teeth and clenching her hand into a fist. Devon noticed this and asked,"Why are you here?"

"Oh I just wanted to come visit my old friend Rosebud. See if she's getting along well, and if she's ready to face a real sin.",Balrog said with an evil smirk as her eyes began to glow fiery orange. Rose gritted her teeth and her belt appeared around her waist. Devon looked at Rose then said,"Whoa whoa, Rose calm down. Maybe you shouldn't try fighting this woman. I mean I know you knew her but remember how Jacoby is Envy; maybe she's like him."

"I am nothing like that pest, who should be dealing with you!",Balrog angrily shouted. Jacoby fearfully ran from behind a bus stop and said,"Right, right. Sorry." as he changed into his demon form and hit his halberd on the ground. This caused a humanoid sloth demon with long claws and mossy green fur came down from a building and swatted Devon away from Rose then chased after him, being rather fast than one would expect a sloth to be.

Rose gasped then she scowled at Balrog before she said,"Henshin." and charged into Drow.

With Devon, He crashed through a store front window and gritted his teeth before he quickly stood up and ran towards the back as the sloth demon barreled towards him. Devon exited the store and continued running down the street as he heard the sloth demon crash through stores back and roar at him. It was then that Jacoby appeared in front of Devon and punched him in the chest, causing the young man to fly back into a light post. Devon grunted when he fell to the ground then he looked up and screamed in terror before he narrowly dodged a swipe from the sloth demon's claws.

Devon then jumped towards a parked car, dodging a slash from Jacoby's halberd. Jacoby groaned in frustration then said,"Could you stop dodging! Seriously, if I don't get rid of you Balrog will hurt me and I will tell you, Balrog is not one you want to mess with."

"I could tell that considering her clothes were smoking.",Devon chimed in as he stood up.

"Someone who notices that and doesn't say I'm a coward for listening to her. Wait a second, I'm supposed to be trying to kill you.",Jacoby said while pointing his halberd towards Devon. Devon gulped then his eyes flashed blue then he simply put his hand over the brace on his left arm before saying in a refined yet determined tone,"Henshin." as he pressed down on a blue jewel that was on the top of the brace.

This caused Devon to be engulfed in blue flames before white armor came out from the brace and hovered over his head, torso, forearms, hands, waist, lower legs, and feet. This armor collided with Devon and the flames changed into a blue undersuit on the body while on the head they changed into a blue portion of a helmet with light blue fierce eyes. The brace on Devon's arm seems to disappear once the armor was over it.

Devon now stood as a monstrous figure in a blue skin tight suit with an almost expressionless mask, save for the piercing blue eyes it had along with the violent maw that made up his lower jaw. Pale white armor with a diamond pattern adorned him, which at the top of the ornate collar had a blue diamond of its own. This armor had claws at the ends of each finger and a white belt around the waist with a light blue oval shaped buckle.

Jacoby and the sloth demon were taken aback by this transformation of Devon's then Jacoby said,"Ookay… what the heck just happened to you?"

Devon stayed silent and still for many moments, causing Jacoby to get irritated while saying,"Hey! Hellooo, I'm talkin' to you!"

Devon then turned his gaze to Jacoby and the sloth demon before he began walking towards them slowly. Jacoby became fearful and he clutched his halberd before saying,"Why are you just standing here?! Attack him demon!"

The sloth demon roared then charged at Devon. Devon stayed calm as the sloth demon charged at him until it was close to him. The sloth demon swiped at Devon with its claws but before they could hit the man, he caught the demon's arm with one hand and swiftly planted five punches to the demon's abdomen. The sloth demon roared in pain then it roared in agony when Devon broke its arm. Devon watched the demon move back and call out from its injuries before he summoned a 1245 Tanto combat knife that had a white and hilt and a light blue 8.0" blade.

Devon held the combat knife in a reverse grip then he slashed the sloth demon twice, causing it to stumble back. The sloth roared then used its other arm to try and slash Devon, who easily moved back to evade the slash. Devon began to somewhat bounce as he got into a boxing-like fighting stance then he dodged several more slash before punching the sloth demon three times then delivering a powerful spin kick to the demon's head, causing it to stumble around in a daze.

Devon stopped bouncing but kept his stance as he flipped his knife so he held it in a standard grip. He then put his free hand to the blade of his knife and said in his own voice but it sounded mixed with a deeper, refined voice,"Divine crusade: Crossfire!"

The blade of the knife was then engulfed in blue flames. Devon then charged at the demon and once close, slashed a cross into the demon before the flames on his knife went out. The demon roared in agony then it exploded as Devon relaxed himself and his knife disappeared. Devon looked over his shoulder to see Jacoby shivering in fear while clutching his halberd tightly. He turned to face Jacoby then said,"Jacoby J'léus, host for the deadly sin of Envy. You are to be judged." before walking towards Jacoby.

Jacoby screamed in terror before he ran away, moving to where Balrog and Rose are. Devon scoffed then followed Jacoby.

Back with Rose and Balrog, the two were now fighting one another with Rose being Drow. Balrog dodged three punches from Drow then she punched Drow in the chest, causing her to stumble back. Balrog chuckled wickedly then said,"What's wrong little Rose? Got rusty being in Hell for so long?" with an evil joy.

Drow grunted then angrily shouted,"Shut up!" while charging at Balrog. Drow threw several wild attacks at Balrog, who easily blocked and dodged them, then she was punched in the face before getting kicked in the stomach. Balrog grinned wickedly as she covered her fist in orange and blue flames then she punched Drow in her chest, causing the girl to go flying back into a post box.

Drow reverted into Rose, who gritted her teeth while scowling at Balrog. Balrog laughed in a wicked tone then she said,"Oh this was too easy Rose! I didn't even have to change into my demon form to beat you."

"Shut it!",Rose shouted angrily. Balrog chuckled then she said,"Oh I love it. That anger of yours, feels real good."

"My anger?",Rose questioned.

"Yeah. Your anger, it feels marvelous.",Balrog said confidently. Rose thought about how she was unusually angry currently then she looked at Balrog.

Suddenly, Jacoby slammed into Balrog and fell over, causing Balrog to shout,"Jacoby, you idiot! I thought I told you to deal with Rose's friend!"

Jacoby stuttered in fear then he looked behind him and screamed in fear before hiding behind Balrog. Balrog and Rose looked to where Jacoby was, both being taken aback when they saw Devon walking towards them. Devon stopped in his tracks and looked at both Balrog and Rose intently.

"Balrog Agretor, host for the deadly sin of Wrath. You are to be terminated along with Jacoby J'léus.",Devon said while looking at Balrog and Jacoby. Balrog scowled at Devon then said,"Who are you supposed to be?"

"I am known as Crusiad, warrior chosen to cleanse this world of the seven deadly sins.",Devon, now known as Crusiad while transformed, said while simply pointing at Balrog and Jacoby. Balrog tsked then said,"Great another pest. Jeez Jacoby, you just attract them don't you."

"Hey! This isn't my fault!",Jacoby shouted at Balrog. He then cowards backwards as Balrog turned to him and her eyes were now on fire as were her fist. Suddenly, a crimson and dark blue colored portal opened under Balrog and Jacoby, causing the two to fall into it, Jacoby yelling as he did so, before it closed.

Crusiad was barely phased by the sight of Balrog and Jacoby leaving and he calmly said,"They retreated. I will have to deal with them at a later date then."

Crusiad then reverted into Devon, the white armor going back into the brace on Devon's arm. Devon stumbled to the side, bracing himself on a light post, then he shook his head while saying,"Ugh, what happened? Where'd Jacoby and Balrog go?"

Rose, who had gotten to her feet, walked over to Devon then said,"Why are you asking that when you just saw them leave? Also since when could you summon armor like that?"

"I didn't see anything and what armor?",Devon questioned while looking at Rose.

"The armor that you just had on that went into that brace on your arm. You called yourself Crusiad when you wore it.",Rose said. Devon continued to have a confused gaze then he said,"Okay what are you talking about? This brace hasn't done anything like that and I would never call myself something like Crusiad."

Rose's expression became confused as she wondered how Devon couldn't remember the events that just transpired then she and Devon began walking to their home.
