Voria smirked, then she said,"Have fun dealing with this one Rose. Come on Rufus." as she and Rufus disappeared from where they stood. Rose grunted in anger then she gritted her teeth and readied her scythe while standing to fight the possessed employee. Devon noticed this and said in a concerned voice,"Rose, stop."

"Stop what?",Rose questioned.

"You aren't going to fight this guy."

"Why not? Voria's obviously done something to him that's making him very hostile."

"He's still human though. Maybe we can help him/cure him."

The employee charged at the duo and threw a punch, with Rose kicking Devon back so he wasn't hit by the employee's punch. She then blocked two punches before she slashed at the employee. The employee jumped up avoiding the scythe slash then they tried to kick Rose in the head but she blocked it. Rose was pushed back by the kick and she grunted before saying,"Okay, you're way stronger than the previous demons I've fought."

"Rose, put the scythe away!",Devon said as he dodged several punches from the employee. Rose ran in and pulled Devon back so she could punch the employee in the face, sending them back into a lamp post. She then looked at Devon,"Why should I put my scythe away? I'm fighting a demon right now!"

"That demon is still a human and you don't know if he can be cured.",Devon argued.

"Trust me Dev, only way to cure demonic possession is death."

Rose and Devon then looked at the employee to see them begin to have cracks form along their skin before they roared, causing a violent wind gust to fling Devon and Rose back. Devon grabbed Rose and held her close and they crashed into a bench, destroying it.

Rose quickly got to her feet and looked around before saying,"Dammit! The demon got away!" and stomping her foot on the ground causing the ground beneath it to crater and for Devon to be lifted off the ground and drop with a thud. Devon groaned in pain then he said in a strained voice,"Rose, help me please."

Rose looked at Devon with anger but she helped him to his feet eventually. She then punched Devon in the gut, causing him to keel over while saying,"Why?"

"That's for distracting me and getting in my way.",Rose replied while crossing her arms. Devon sighed in pain then he stood up straight as he and Rose began walking out of the fair.

Meanwhile, Jacoby had seen the entire fight and he said,"Okay, mind explaining why I had to watch that?"

"You had to watch that so you can understand that you must do as the human did in order to become more.",Samael said in Jacoby's head.

"And what did the guy do?"

"Absorb demonic energy into himself and in turn became a demon. This is what you must do, Jacoby."

"Okay, uh small problem with that. That guy only got a small amount from Voria and became her demon slave. How am I supposed to absorb her demonic energy and not have that happen to me?"

"That's where this comes in."

A lime green jewel that was like Rose's except this one looked like a skull with sharp jagged teeth and fierce eyes appeared in Jacoby's hand. Jacoby looked at the jewel and asked,"This looks like what Rose has on her waist when she's transformed."

"Yes, except this one is for you and will absorb the other sins into it; once they're weakened that is."

Jacoby heard this and nodded before he stood up and began walking away, putting the skull jewel into his pocket.

Back with Rose and Devon, the duo were in a diner with Rose having a frown on her face and her arms were crossed. Devon was looking at a menu when he glanced and asked,"Are you gonna look at the menu?"

"I'm not hungry.",Rose grumbled.

Devon sighed then he put down the menu to look at Rose,"Rose, what do you want me to say? I'm sorry for stopping you from killing a demon and from fighting those two?"

Rose looked at Devon then, after some time, said in a somber tone,"I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at myself."

Devon raised an eyebrow. Rose sighed,"I let my anger towards Voria and Rufus get to me and because I did, that guy was turned into a demon."

Devon's expression softened then he said,"Eh, that's not too bad. You made a mistake."

"A mistake that cost an innocent life.",Rose commented somberly. She then felt Devon grab and hold her hand and she looked at him as he said,"Even still, it's alright. You're human and humans aren't perfect, so even though you made a mistake it's alright. Besides, you're gonna deal with him soon enough so it's not all bad."

Rose began to smile then she stared at her and Devon's hands before nodding while looking Devon in the eye. It was then that the two heard people screaming in terror outside the diner. Devon and Rose looked out the window to see a demon that was an anthropomorphic pig with the torn clothes of the fair employee on its body.

Rose and Devon's eyes widened then they looked at each other before rushing out of the diner, with both almost falling in the process.

Outside the diner, Rose and Devon ran after the pig demon then stopped once it turned around to face them. Rose scowled, then said,"Can I kill him now?"

"Yeah, let's put him to rest.",Devon replied with some sadness. Rose nodded, then her belt appeared and she said,"Henshin." changing into Drow, but this time her armor was different slightly. Now instead of being red it was violet, the horns on her helmet were now on her forehead with the shorter one being over the large one, her visor was now green, the joints of her undersuit were now black and her buckle now was violet.

Devon looked at Drow and said,"Since when was your armor purple?"

Drow looked at herself then she said,"I don't know. These are probably my new powers."

"New powers?"

"It's what I was trying to tell you earlier before your sister came by. I gained the power of force from the demon who gave me the Drow powers."

Devon had a confused expression come onto his face as he watched Drow charge towards the pig demon.

Drow dodged two punches from the demon then punched it twice in the gut before headbutting it. The demon stumbled back then squealed while landing two powerful punches to Drow's chest. Drow stumbled back, chuckling as she did so, then she was hit by several more powerful attacks. The pig demon then picked up a car and slammed it onto Drow's side, causing Drow to fly into a lightpost.

Devon ran over to Drow with a worried look then he had to dodge a punch from the pig demon. Devon dodged two more attacks then he blocked a kick but tumbled on the ground from the strength of the kick. Devon groaned in pain as he looked up at the pig demon as it readied a punch. He then gasped when the pig demon flew over him and crashed into the side of a car.

Devon raised an eyebrow then he looked in front of him to see Drow wielding a hammer that had a purple head and black grip. Devon had a bewildered expression on his face as he said"Since when have you had a hammer?"

"About a minute ago; took off my scarf thinking I'd get my scythe but instead the hammer was made.",Drow casually said while helping Devon stand up. Devon nodded, then he looked at the pig demon and said sorrowfully,"It's sad that that guy turned into a demon."

"Yeah. I shouldn't keep this up any longer.",Drow solemnly said while taking off her buckle and putting it into the head of her hammer causing it to announce,"PENANCE BREAK!"

Drow then had violet and black energy gather at the head of her hammer as she readied herself. The pig demon charged at Drow one final time then Drow dodged the charging demon and slammed her hammer into its chin. This sent the pig demon high into the air where it exploded, being a much larger explosion than the usual demons.

Devon and Drow shielded themselves then Devon sighed while saying,"Guess Voria's demons have bigger explosions along with more power than Jacoby's."

"Seems to be the case. She also seems to make hers by having people ingest that candy.",Drow said while reverting into Rose. Devon looked at Rose, determination coming onto his face,"If that's the case then it means we need to find her before she makes more."

Rose looked at Devon and smirked,"You're right about that."

Rose and Devon then began walking their way back to Devon's home. Rose looked at Devon with caring eyes then she looked forward while saying,"And I'll try to cure them before they go full demon, if it's possible."

Devon smiled and nodded in response.

Unbeknownst to the two, a crow watched them as they walked then it flew away while cawing.
