At Devon's home, he was still asleep on his couch when he began to toss and turn slightly. Devon grunted with each turn of his head then he awoke when he heard an unknown voice say,"Wake up!"

Devon sat up and looked around before saying,"Where's Rose?"

Devon then noticed how dark it was outside and he walked to his window while saying,"How long was I out for? It's already dark."

"I'm afraid this sudden darkness isn't from the passage of time, Devon.",The angel said as it appeared behind Devon. Devon turned to the angel with a confused expression and the angel said,"Rose left after you fell unconscious and, if my theory is correct, she went out looking for Adonis aka the sin of Pride."

Devon's eyes widened before he quickly went to his room, put on a gray baseball shirt that had dark gray sleeves and a dark gray chest pocket, then he ran out of his home. Once outside, he saw a gold lightning bolt come down from the sky in the distance. Devon gained a worried expression then he began running towards where he saw the lightning hit.

In the city, Drow narrowly dodged Adonis' hammer then she dodged another and jumped back from the man. She then had to narrowly dodge a bolt of lightning that came down from the sky. Drow ran at Adonis and she slashed at him several times, all of which were blocked or dodged by the giant man. She then had to block a punch from Adonis that still made gasp for air. Adonis then hit Drow in the stomach with his hammer, the head of which was engulfed in lightning, sending Drow through the wall of a nearby store. Drow crashed into an aisle and she groaned in pain before she stood up. Drow was then hit with an uppercut by Adonis before he hit her with his hammer once more. This sent Drow through many aisles in the store, with Adonis catching up to her. Adonis hit Drow with his hammer once more and she went crashing through the store's fire exit, breaking the door off the hinges and most of the wall becoming cracked.

Drow coughed in pain then she got to her feet saying,"How the hell are you so fast?"

"I am the sin of Pride, Rose. Everything about me is perfect.",Adonis said arrogantly. He then swung his hammer at Drow, but Drow managed to dodge it. Drow dodged several more swings of Adonis' hammer then she slashed at Adonis with her scythe. The scythe cut Adonis but it was as small as a paper cut on his shoulder. Drow gasped at this while Adonis chuckled, then arrogantly said,"Lass, did you really think that scythe of yours could actually cut a being as perfect as I?"

Adonis then swung his hammer down at Drow and she managed to jump back but was hit by a bolt of golden lightning that shot out from the impact of the hammer. Drow stumbled back then she blocked a punch from Adonis, but was sent flying towards the street, smashing through a car. Drow struggled to stand, looking up to see that Adonis was walking up to where she was. Adonis smirked then he threw the destroyed car out of his way while getting closer to Drow. Drow tried to ready her scythe but she reverted into Rose, now having many wounds on her body and a cut on his lip. Rose was grabbed by the neck and hauled into the air.

Adonis smirked, then he raised his hammer to hit Drow with it. Suddenly, Adonis was kicked in the side of the head by Devon and he stumbled to the side, letting go of Rose. Devon landed and caught Rose as she fell. Rose looked at Devon as he said with a smirk,"Huh, I saved you for once."

Rose's face showed surprise, joy, and some arousal then she kissed Devon passionately as he set her on her feet. The two pulled away from one another then Rose said,"Sorry."

"Don't be.",Devon said with a smirk. He and Rose the turned their attention to Adonis, who was holding his jaw.

"How dare you kick me while I'm trying to kill that little winch!",Adonis angrily shouted, causing the lightning and thunder to erupt in the sky.

"Mind giving me the cliff notes on him,''Devon said.

"Basically, he has the powers of lightning and/or thunder, is really fast, really strong, really durable, and he was kicking the crap out of me before you got here.",Rose said. Devon nodded, then he and Rose said,"Henshin."

"FIGHT WITH SWIFT STRIKES! DROW: LIGHTNING FORM!"

Drow and Crusiad readied themselves, with Drow changing her scarf into her daggers. The two then charged at Adonis, who chuckled then readied his hammer.

At the conference room, Cleo and Hezekiah were there with Voria, Balrog, and Rufus. Cleo had an agitated expression on her face as she said,"That prideful moron. Exposing himself like this."

"Well it is Adonis we're talking about.",Balrog said, with Hezekiah, Voria and Rufus agreeing with this sentiment. Cleo sighed, also agreeing with what Balrog said, then she looked around before saying,"Where's Jacoby?"

"I don't know, haven't actually seen him around much."Hezekiah said while crossing his arms. Balrog looked at Hezekiah and Cleo, her thoughts going to Jacoby's suspicious behavior.

Back with Drow and Crusiad, the two were fighting with Adonis with both having to dodge not only his attacks but also lightning that came from the sky. Drow dodged two swings from Adonis' hammer then she used her speed to dodged several bolts of lightning. Crusiad moved towards Adonis, narrowly avoiding being struck by lightning, then once he was close he jumped up in the air to punch Adonis. Adonis grabbed Crusiad by the neck then hit him with his hammer, sending the warrior crashing into the side of an SUV.

Adonis smirked, then he blocked a series of slashes from Drow before backhanding her towards Crusiad. Adonis then called lightning to his hand then he threw a large bolt of lightning towards Crusiad and Drow. Drow used her speed to move herself and Crusiad out of the way but the SUV behind them exploded sending them down the street.

Crusiad and Drow crashed into the pavement then Drow said,"Well, that could've gone better."

"I don't think that's true.",Crusiad said while he and Drow got to their feet. They both then looked at Adonis as he made his way towards them.

"We're not getting anywhere with how we're fighting him. Got any ideas?",Crusiad said while turning his head to Drow. Drow stayed silent briefly then she responded,"Well, Adonis is the sin of pride and has a pretty high opinion of himself. If we could use that against him to get an opening then we could do something."

"That sounds kinda good except that since he is the sin of Pride, he may get stronger the higher his opinion of himself goes."Crusiad said. Drow nodded, then she had an idea come to her head,"If that's the case then all we can do is wait for an opening in his attacks. Which is easier said than done."

"Yeah, but when have we done things the easy way.",Crusiad said with a playful confidence while rolling his shoulders and cracking his neck. Drow chuckled then she brandished her daggers. Adonis' anger was prevalent in his gaze, lightning striking his hammer and engulfing the head.

Drow and Crusiad then charged at Adonis while he readied himself to swing his hammer.
