Arrival...

Planet Earth, 7000 years ago...

5000 B.C.

Kind faces surrounded her, all bright eyes and curious expressions.

She could feel the cosmic energy pulsing through her, warm in both its coursing nature and its golden glow.

They were approaching their destination, a planet of blues and greens, speckled in white clouds from above - well, below at their current angle. You couldn't let the beauty fool you though, for Deviants were on the loose and the local population of this planet, the humans, were in danger.

Each of them, the Eternals, were gifted with special abilities, thanks to the Celestials like Arishem, their creator.

Ajak was the Prime Eternal, able to heal all wounds and their leader, the only one of them who could communicate with the Celestials.

Ikaris could fly, and his main defense was the golden blasts he could fire from his eyes.

Sersi could transform matter with a mere touch of her hand.

Sprite was a master creator of illusions - almost like an illusion herself with her youthful appearance.

Kingo could shoot blasts of gold from his fingers.

Thena was their great warrior goddess, and could forge any kind of weapon ready in her hands.

Gilgamesh, her companion, was the strongest out of them all.

Druig could influence the minds and acts of others.

Makkari was a speedster, able to cover great distances in mere seconds.

Phastos was a forger and inventor.

And then there was her, Kaosa, who's form of defense was golden blasts and force fields, shields basically.

Time to take down some Deviants.

"Are you coming?" Kingo called to her where she lingered by the Domo's main window.

"Yes-" She eagerly moved to follow.

"No." Ajak's voice stopped her. "You will stay here with me. Until the battle is over."

"But I can help-"

"Perhaps, in time." Her tone was gentle, but her words firm. "But for now, I want you to stay at my side and watch and observe." She never treated any of the others this way, they were all free to go and do what they liked, as they liked - provided that they didn't interfere (too much) in human conflicts unless there were Deviants involved. But Kaosa she always kept close by, at her side, like she was worried something would happen if she wasn't careful - or careful enough.

Kingo was still waiting for her to join them, the sweetheart.

"Go on," she told him, urged him, trying and failing to hide her obvious disappointment. "I'll catch up with you all later."

He looked disappointed too, sharing hers, but he obeyed and followed the other fighters.

With that she was left to do nothing but watch from afar, the start of a long and frustrating pattern.

And so it begins! ;)

And I think I may have forgot to mention but I do not own anything Eternals, only my own character and plot!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed! :) More to come soon!
