After rescuing Gwaine the roguish man who had helped them in the tavern fight. Merlyn suddenly finds herself falling for him when she thought she'd never love again after Frey. When Merlyn first came to Camelot and had to be a maidservant and silent protector to the prat Prince Arthur Pendragon, she never imagined she would fall for him nor did she believe the second part of her destiny; to become the Once and Future Queen. Merlin knows of his destiny from an early age but doesn't know whether or not Arthur truly is capable of being The Once And Future King and goes to Camelot to see if Arthur is capable of being this King but can he overcome his hate of Uther?

On how the disaster could have happened. And not just about that.

Merlin should never ever listen to Arthur when he tells him he has a great idea. Because crawling up the waste shaft of a castle wasn't what Merlin had in mind.
