...

The apartment was in a quiet area of Tokyo. Quiet would be both good and bad for him. It would mean he'd have to be careful about sneaking out. There was a chance someone sees him slip out for vigilante work. The last thing he needed was for one of his new guardians to become suspicious.

Like with Tsunagu he was given a keyboard and a key to the apartment. Mirai showed him through the three-bedroom apartment. It was somewhat surprising to find Mirai's room decorated with All Might collector items. If it had been years prior he might have geeked out over it. If it had been before All Might told him there was no such thing as a luck quirk and he shouldn't make up a fake quirk. Quirkless could not be a hero in the man's eyes.

Just the thought of that day made him want to destroy the items. All Might had been his childhood hero. Now he hated the man with a passion.

There was a guest bedroom that didn't seem to have regular use. The room for Izuku however already had a bed and even some hero merchandise. He was surprised to find it was mostly of underground heroes that he had shown interest in. There were even clothes in his size in the closet.

When he glanced questioning at the hero, Mirai said unsurely, "I asked Tsunagu and had it delivered. If you don't like anything or it doesn't fit let me know."

Shyly Izuku whispered, "Thank you."

Mirai reached out for a moment before he seemed to think better of it. Disappointment filled him even though he knew of the consequences. He wanted to have kind touches more than anything. But it was unlikely he would get them. Not unless he was on quirk suppressants. He would not risk the lives of his guardians.

Then he said, "Tomorrow we will go to my agency. Everyone is looking forward to meeting you."

"I'm looking forward to meeting them too," he responded.

A small smile was given to Izuku and he was left to get settled. Once he was sure his guardian wasn't going to come back in he pulled out his phone.

Greenbean: At Nighteye's place. It's a nice enough apartment.

Calmbeforethestorm: That's good. Things have been quiet here. The forums have gone up in arms about your disappearance.

Greenbean: Me?

Calmbeforethestorm: Watcher. There is worry about how you haven't been seen since.

Greenbean: I'm surprised there are so many who care. Anything I should be worried about?

Calmbeforethestorm: Nothing as of yet but I will keep an eye on them. If it's important I'll message you.

Greenbean: Keep in touch. I'll hit the streets this week once I'm sure of Nighteye's habits.

Calmbeforethestorm: Kk.

With that Izuku placed his phone on his desk before unpacking his bag. The first to come out was his laptop. It was plugged in and set next to his phone.

That night was an easy night. Mirai was a good cook and made them a meal that would be easy on his stomach. A week of regular food had done him a lot of good but it would be a long time before he could eat full meals again.

Mirai had asked him simple questions about his hobbies and favorite activities. Izuku of course mentioned his favorite books and his analysis work. That caused his guardian to question him in about different heroes.

Their talks went long into the evening. It started in the kitchen and ended in the living room. Only after Mirai noted it was after midnight did he usher the youth to bed. Of course, Izuku did not go straight to bed. Instead, he lay out on his bed with his laptop in front of him.

The analysis he had been working on where saved. It would have been easy to pick up where he left on them but something was drawing him to the hacking programs. He brought it up and began to scan through the cameras using a facial recognition program he created.

From there he opened the hidden encrypted program that he used for his files that he sent to Tsukauchi as Watcher. Only he and Kavar knew the exact steps that had to be done to bring it up. If anyone else tried they wouldn't be able to get it. Well maybe with the exception of Nezu who he was sure could give enough time.

Names began to be thrown out from the first program. Upon seeing the names he swore colorfully under his breath. S-Rank criminals that he could have sworn were in jail. Had there been a breakout that he hadn't heard about?

Immediately he set his computer to follow them. Then he set it to record as he hacked into the police records. Quirks and their official records. He knew that not all records were true, he was proof, but it would be a start.

Four hours later found him finishing up his file to Tsukauchi and Eraserhead. He had everything from their quirks to locations. In a different section were the heroes he recommended for a raid. Given the high level of the villains, it would be smart to take only the best heroes.

A yawn escaped him as he sent the finished file. Four-thirty. He probably should go to sleep. It was going to be obvious that he had not slept. Izuku closed his laptop and plugged it in.

He was just stretching out on his bed to actually sleep when his phone buzzed. A soft curse escapee him and he knew it would be the other two. Pulling his phone out he checked the chat.

Night Annoyances

Pantsonfire: It's good to see that you're back, Watcher. But it's 4:30 in the fucking morning.

Clover: Your point?

Needssleep: You aren't usually around this late. What's got you up?

Clover: S-Rank villains. That file I sent you has everything you need to know. It also has recommendations for which heroes to pull together for a raid.

Pantsonfire: This... we owe you a debt, Watcher.

Clover: You owe me nothing. I do what must be done to protect my city. Stay safe.
