Sydney was beyond herself, the question was, what was she more upset about, the fact that she, who always was the voice of reason of the amigas didn't knew Emmy was being bullied being her the weakest of the group or the fact that she never realized she took karate lessons and got into a fight with her bully on the school hallway which got her two weeks detention.

-WHAT GAVE YOU THE IDEA OF GETTING KARATE LESSONS? - she blew up

-I had to do something for myself! - Emmy replied

The brunette realized who the voice belonged to when she saw the horrified faces of Olive and Sophia, in fear she turned.

-Either way I have to go, sorry Mr. Reynolds - Emmy said getting up from the table

The other three girls glared silently as the latina walked out of the bike shop. In the dojo Tori smiled as she heard what Emmy was saying.

-So, you beat up the girl that was bullying you and as a bonus you almost broke the nose of one of your friends?

-I didn't mean to hurt Sophia… she… she just came from behind and yelled at me…

-You acted on instinct, that's all.

But things were not to get better anytime soon, the following day Olive, Sydney and Sophia got to their table for lunch. They saw Emmy picking up her tray and when it seemed that she was heading for their table she headed towards another table and sat beside a blond girl.

-What just happened? - Sydney asked

-She sat with Cami… Wrather… - Olive replied

-Why? - Sophia asked

The answer came in the form of a memory, she saw her as part of the karate team the school had. Acting on impulse Sydney got up and went to them.

-Excuse me, can I have a word with Emmy?

Cameron (who was better known as Cami) glared at her, and not in a good way, she was known for her volatile personality.

-We're having lunch here, can it wait? - Emmy said coldly

Sydney was beyond perplexed.

Cami got up from her chair

-Didn't you hear her? She asked you to wait.

Sydney was growing tired of being pushed around

-I need to talk to MY friend, do you mind?

-You better watch the way you talk to me Reynolds, you only get one warning and this is it.

Olive ran to her best friend and pulled her away

-It's OK, we're going back to our table.

Upset Sydney sat back on her table and pushed her plate away

-Aren't you going to eat? - Sophia said

Olive held her hand.

That afternoon after school Olive, Sydney and Sophia were at the Reynold's store in hopes to see Emmy join them.

-Do you think she'll come here? - Sophia asked

-I hope so… -Olive said

And Emmy did arrive, but she was in the company of Cami once more.

-So, this is the place where you hang? - she asked

-Sometimes… - Emmy replied glaring at the table where Sophia and Olive were

-So, did Emmy… -Sydney stood frozen as she saw that her friend was indeed there

-I think we better go - Emmy said

Sophia stood up.

-Emmy we want you back, we need to be the four amigas again and

-Yeah, you need to have someone to protect so you feel strong, right?

Olive got up

-That's not true we

-I know why you want me back. Well guess what, I'm fine.

-You don't need them, come on - Cami said

-Why don't you let her decide - Sydney said in an upset tone

Without further words Cami took one of the smoothies Sydney had on a tray and dropped the contents over the brunette's head

-Oh my God… - Olive said

-OK, I HAD IT

Cami chuckled

-You really wanna do this Reynolds? - she said preparing her guard

The other three girls glared in shock at the impending confrontation…
