Bros Stick Together

The exercise room for U.A high was considered one of the most prestigious gyms in all of Japan. With its many custom methods and options for those with a wide variety of quirks to train and improve, truly there was never a more prestigious place to train.

And Eijiro Kirishima absolutely loved it!

The hot-blooded red headed boy absolutely loved the gym within UA, finding it to be one of the best places to get one of the manliest workouts he could ever get. Something he was fully grateful for.

It also allowed him to fully train with his quirk.

The boy let out a grunt as he ran on a treadmill with his quirk active. His quirk being hardening; the ability to harden his skin to be as hard as rock was a very defensive power, however it also drained him if he decided to move more with it on.

While he made an amazing brick wall, he also knew he needed to start moving more to not let villains get the chance to overwhelm him or trip him up. Something his bro's Bakugo and Midoriya commented on.

Kirishima had to smile fondly as he remembered his two close friends. Bakugo was someone he met up with during the entrance exams. Watching him blow things up with that confident/maniac smirk and the fire in his eyes, inspired the hardening quirk user to push himself further in the exam himself.

When he found out he shared a class with the guy he was ecstatic! Wanting nothing more than to prove himself he grew close to the exploding boy finding out he was super dedicated to becoming a hero and he had the smarts and skills to do it! He pushed himself and tried to push the exploding expert as well, and even while Bakugo might never say it, they were friends.

And boy was he strong! Those explosions were no joke! The boy flinched slightly at remembering all those explosions he had taken during todays hero class activity. Bakugo never held back, which was super manly! While his explosions never fully hurt him due to his quirk, it did leave him bruised and sore.

Honestly if you asked Kirishima, he would probably tell you that Bakugo had the manliest quirk in the class.

That is till he saw Midoriya send a ball flying into the air with a sonic boom!

Kirishima was shocked as was most of his class during that surprise exam their homeroom teacher dished out to them. The once thought to be timid boy with no real aspiring features displayed an insane power that blew them all away.

And broke his finger in the process. Never in his life has he seen a more manly thing! Never expecting that he would see even more manlier events from the green-haired boy.

Izuku Midoriya was an enigma to many within the class for the first couple of weeks. A shy timid kid, who jumped at anyone who talked with him or stuttered his way through a conversation, had a power that could blow up a building with a single punch.

It reminded him of All Might's power if he was being honest. And as the school year went on, he would find out that the green-haired boy shared many more traits to the number one hero.

He remembered during the USJ incident when that monster had showed up with those group of villains and how he and Bakugo had rushed to get back to the entrance to make sure their classmates were alright, and he was rendered surprised when he saw his green haired classmate rush into danger to fight that monster to save his friends helping their homeroom teacher.

Then when he fought Todoroki in the Sports Festival, he was blown away by how much determination Midoriya showed in pushing back one of the more talented students in his class. It was only when he saw the inferno of fire did, he realize fully what Midoriya was trying to do.

He was trying to get the reserved ice and fire user to use his fire! And he used it! A lot of it! He still felt the heat from that battle, and he was in the stands!

Still! Midoriya was able to push the fire and ice user to use his other ability but even more amazing, was that it also seemed to break the dule quirked boy out of his shell. Kirishima had noticed him talking more with the class and smiling more often, and yes, using his fire more often.

He had no idea what Midoriya had did, but he had no doubt to think it wasn't something manly as hell! He also got bad scars on his hands and arms. He had often seen them when they were changing in the locker room and felt himself flinch at seeing them but also felt himself admiring the boy for what he had done to get them.

Then came Bakugo's rescue mission. Kirishima frowned softly as he sharpened his quirk and had the treadmill go faster.

The rescue mission was in a sense, a complete success. But it cost the career of the number one hero. Something that ate away at the hardening quirk user a great deal.

Not more then his two bros though. He had noticed that Bakugo had grown angrier and had snapped at everyone more often than he used to. Now granted he did that anyway, but these were filled with a little extra venom then what the class was used to.

Midoriya on the other hand, had almost shut down. The kid had fallen quiet, almost to a scary degree and would often break out into tears on a dime. Yet he also started to overwork himself.

It was often that Kirishima had walked into the gym to find who the class had dubbed as their cinnamon roll, pushing himself with weights and exercises that made even himself wince in pain.

It had taken himself, and his classmates Shoji Sato, and Sero to hold him down while the class all had a sort of intervention with the boy. He had broken down and had started blubbering apologies crying the hardest that he had ever seen him cry. He along with a few other students had hugged him close letting him know it was okay and that he was not alone.

Kirishima had smiled softly remembering that moment and it was also when he started to grow close with the green haired boy.

He had remembered when they were doing a class activity together and he had commented how Midoriya's quirk was super manly for letting him move so dang fast! Something he couldn't do.

"W-We all have to play to our strengths." He remembered him saying. "D-Did you ever do training to keep your quirk active as you move around or did other activities?" he had asked him.

He smiled as he took a deep breath and stepped off the treadmill letting his quirk drop making him sigh in relief. After that talk he had decided to take that advice to heart and start doing random tasks and workouts while he was hardened.

It had been a real workout for him! The first few times he had collapsed from exhaustion then after some colorful motivation from Bakugo he pushed himself harder! He did remember doing this a bit when he was younger, but never to this extreme! He loved it!

He reached for his bottle of water he had in his bag and took a gulp of it while looking around the gym. It was rather empty with only himself and one other student there lifting weights. He didn't recognize him at all.

Shrugging to himself he placed the bottle down and looked up to see the clock that hung on the wall in the center of the room and had to wince slightly seeing how late it was. He sighed and stretched slightly before blinking when he heard the doors open to the gym.

He turned and smiled when he saw a familiar mop of green hair enter the room. His smile grew when he saw the boy in a workout outfit of a white muscle shirt and shorts with his own green bag. A gift from Momo if he remembered right. He shook his head with amusement over how proud she looked when they had all went out to get him something for his birthday.

"Hey Midroibro!" The red headed boy shouted out making the boy jump and turn to him with wide eyes before he relaxed and smiled back and rushed over to him.

"H-Hey Kirishima" Midoriya greeted back as he stopped before the taller boy. "H-how was your workout?" he asked him, gripping one of his bags strap a little tightly.

The red headed boy let out a laugh and slug an arm over the shorter boys' shoulders making him tense slightly in surprise. "Great! Those pointers have helped a great deal man. Thanks!" he cheered feeling the boy relax and shake in laughter in his arm making his wide sharp smile grow warmer.

Izuku laughed before turning to the red headed boy with a genuine smile. "Y-Your welcome Kirishima! G-Glad it, w-worked for you." He said brightly.

"What are you in for?" Kirishima asked with a warm grin as he let the boy go and walked back over to his own red bag to grab a towel.

"Oh, just some light exercises." Izuku answered as he looked around before placing his bag down near a set of weight bells.

"You sure that's it?" He asked with a bit of an edge his red eyes narrowed. After remembering what happened last time, he had made it his own personal goal to make sure the green haired boy didn't push himself too far.

Izuku jumped slightly and waved his hands in front of himself with a red face and wide embarrassed eyes. "O-Oh! Yeah! That's all!" he assured with a nervous laugh. "I'm still a little tired from the exercise Aizawa-Sensei gave us today." He said with a small slump of his shoulders.

"You and me both bro." The spiky red-haired hero in training said with more warmth and his red eyes losing that edge being replaced with understanding. "Its super manly how he made us team up, but man did it leave me sore." He muttered as he raised his hand and placed it on the middle of his back between the shoulders.

"Well you did fight Kacchan." Izuku said as he pulled out his phone and started to go through his music selection to find something to workout too. "H-He doesn't really know how to t-take it easy." He assured with a small laugh.

"Yeah." Kirishima said with a grin. He looked over at the boy with a raised eyebrow. "Want me to be your spotter or workout partner?" he asked him.

Izuku thought about it for a moment before slowly shaking his head and looking up at the boy with a thankful look. "N-no, its okay. I'm just doing a light work out then I'm c-collapsing to bed." He assured.

Kirishima nodded slowly. "You sure man?" he asked and once he saw the boy nod, he sighed but smiled at him. "Alright, real manly of you!" he praised making the boy's cheeks almost match his own red hair.

He flung the towel over his shoulder and grabbed a few clothes from the bag. "Gona hit the showers before I head back. See you at the dorms Midoribro!" he said before walking pass the other student who had slowed down tremendously.

The young hero in training never noticed that the large boys gaze had went right towards the green haired student who had placed his earplugs in and started to do a light work out with some weights.

Izuku let out a sigh as he started to lift the weights, nothing to much, just enough to keep himself in a routine. He would work on some kicks latter but for know he wanted to keep his arms in shape.

He didn't notice that someone was approaching him till he felt someone place a hand on his shoulder making him let out a yelp and jump in the air in surprise.

Once he landed, he spun around with wide eyes and a red embarrassed face, thinking it was Kirishima again. However, he was surprised and shocked to his core and grew stiff as a board as he sees someone different, yet familiar.

"Long time no see, Midoriya." The boy said in greeting with a smile. He was a bigger guy with a muscular physique that were showed off well by his muscle shirt. He had brown hair and gray eyes, yet he had two small horns jutting out of his head at the top.

The boy gulped and stared at the boy before him and started to shake a little. "O-O-O-h. H-H-H-Hello Y-Y-Yasei." He stuttered out.

The young horned man could only smirk at the reaction. "Still got that stutter huh?" he asked out standing a bit taller to make the boy feel small. He smirked when he saw the boy flinch. "To think you actually did it. You got into U.A, got to hand it you, that's impressive." He praised.

Izuku blinked up at the boy relaxing ever so slightly. "O-Oh." He said before gulping. "T-Thank you." He said with a small stiff nod.

"Even got yourself a quirk to boot." The horned boy said causing Izuku to stiffen right back up. "No idea how that shit works, but science was never my strong suite."

'Nether was learning.' Izuku thought in his head remembering how the horned boy had been at the bottom of his class in Junior High.

"But to think you would make it to U.A and even be in its Heroes Course." He said with a slow nod. "Not bad for a spinless twerp." He said slapping the boy on the back with force. Surprised and a little agitated when that only made him flinch but not stumble like he used to.

"Y-Yeah." The boy mumbled out softly looking down at his red shoes.

The boy huffed, "But to think, even after everything that you accomplished, you forgot one small thing." He said with an almost sad tone.

"W-What?" Izuku asked only to flinch back in fear as those brown eyes darkened into a rage that would make even Kacchan pause.

"You. Aren't. Supposed. To. Be. In. My. GYM!" the boy roared out with his dark gazed fixed on the green haired boy making him let out a cry of surprise and trip over his bag and fall to the ground with a wince.

"How quickly freaks forget their damn place!" The boy huffed out digging his right foot into the ground like he was ready to charge. "You think you can walk into my gym?! You fucking idiot think I wouldn't know!?" he demanded.

"B-B-But it's not your gy-"

"YOU THINK I CARE?!" He roared making the boy snap his mouth closed with a snap and flinch back with trembling eyes. "Now I'm going to make this clear." He warned as he approached the boy griping his muscle shirt and lifting him up. "Never show your face in this gym again small fry, or your going to regret it. Got it?" He demanded.

"Got what?" A voice asked in a cold tone making the boy tense and Izuku to gasp in surprise.

The horned boy dropped Izuku like a stack of potatoes making the boy cry out in pain. He turned around to see a freshly washed Kirishima, with a pair of pants on but no shirt. He had his arms crossed as he leaned against the door frame with a cold look in his red eyes.

"Well?" He asked in a tone that promised pain for those who crossed him. "What did he get?" he asked again with force his red eyes burning with a fire of rage so intense that the horned boy took a small step back before growling out.

"None of your damn business." He said in a harsh tone. "Just reminding an old friend on somethings." He said with a head tilt to the green haired boy who could only watch with wide trembling eyes.

"Is that right?" he asked stepping away from the door frame and approaching the two, "Cause from where I'm standing." He stopped right in front of the large student and glared at him right in the eye. "Your messing with my friend." He said with a growl.

The horned student let out a huff of anger and glared right back. "Oh yeah? Well you have really low standards for friends." He mocked causing the green haired boy to flinch and look away with what looked like self-loathing.

Kirishima hated that look. Mostly because it was a look, he used to wear a lot in his youth. His glare grew colder and his fist tightened to the point he was sure he was bleeding from them. "It's not manly to insult people." He commented with a glare, "Especially those who are more of a man then you."

"The fuck you say to me red hair?" The boy huffed out his eyes starting to dilate in rage.

"Just the truth. You're not half the man Midoribro is." He said with conviction missing the wide-eyed look from said bro as he focused solely on the buff student before him.

"YOU FUCKER!" he shouted and threw a fist at the red-haired student. Izuku let out a shout of warning but it was not needed. For when the fist met the skin of the red-haired boy the sickening crack of bones breaking enveloped the room.

"FUCK!" the horned boy shouted out holding his now broken hand close as tears started to flow due to the pain. His head snapped up to glare harshly at the red-haired teen whose skin was now as solid as stone, yet his glare was not dimming.

"You want to try that again?" he asked with a glare.

The horned teen let out a roar as he charged at the student his head down exposing his horns wanting to impale the hardening quirk user.

Kirishima's eyes narrowed as he adjusted his footing and moved his hands out to his sides. In the last moment he gripped the horns on the boy then fell letting the boy fall with him and using his own momentum kicked with his hardened leg causing the teen to roll off him and land on the ground with a thud.

Getting up quickly he rushed to the down teen and placed him in a headlock causing the horned boy to let out a roar of a wild bull and try to trash to get him off. Kirishima just increased his quirk causing him to grow heavier and to have his grip tighten and grow stronger.

Soon the teen tired himself out and slumped to the ground gripping the stone-cold arms wrapped around his neck. "Here's what's going to happen." The young hero said to his downed opponent. "I'm going to let you go, and you are going to leave my bro alone. Otherwise," he tightened his grip making the large teen let out a gasp of pain. "You got that?" He asked feeling the teen nod. He let go and took a few steps back away from him standing in front of a wide eyed Midoriya who had watched the whole thing.

The large teen slowly stood up holding his throat before turning to glare at the red-haired hero in training before letting out an angered huff before stomping away out of the room still holding his broken hand close to himself.

Kirishima watched him go with narrowed eyes and once he knew he was gone let out a long sigh of relief as he let himself relax and let his body unwind. He turned to check on his friend, "You alright bro?" he asked only to be stunned by what happened next.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!" Midoriya had shouted out with wide sparkling green eyes. His smile was the largest he had ever seen on his friend and he looked to be bouncing in place his hands held close to himself. "I've never seen you do that before! Using his own momentum to flip him over you! That's amazing Kirishima!" he praised him.

The red-haired boy felt himself blush at his friend's praise lifting a hand and rubbing the back of his had in embarrassment. "O-Oh, I-It was no big deal." He stuttered out not used to hearing that kind of praise from the green haired hero nerd.

"It was a major deal! How did you learn to do that!?" he asked out holding out a notebook and writing things down at lighting speed.

'Weird.' He thought with amusement before shaking his head with a small fanged smile. "Honestly, I think I got it from watching you and Bakubro." He said.

That seemed to stop the boy and bring him back down to the world as he looked up in surprise. "M-me?" he asked shocked.

"Well yeah." Kirishima shrugged with an easy grin. "In the first battle trial we had, you fought Bakubro in a manly fight! You even flipped him using his own momentum!" He praised making the boys freckled cheeks burn from the praise. "Man, I wanted to try that, but I have issues reading people, so when you told me about how I can use my quirk in everyday stuff I started experimenting and found that if I just let them try and hit me I can grab them and toss them." He shrugged. "Sure, it means I get hit more, but it works so far."

"That's…that's amazing Kirashima." Izuku praised with a small grin.

"Yeah, well got you to thanks." He replied. "So, you want to tell me what that was all about?" he asked with a raised eyebrow his red eyes showing concern for his close friend.

Izuku froze for a moment before slumping down and sighing softly. "I-It…was nothing." He said trying to avoid the topic.

Kirishima was not having that.

"Didn't look like nothing." He said with narrowed eyes.

"I-It was just an old fr-classmate from my old school." He muttered out slumping into himself.

"Your old school? The one you and Bakugo went too?" he asked with narrowed eyes.

He had remembered Bakugo telling him how shit that school was. How the teachers were all spinless and the students were low life extras. Basically, telling him he didn't like it a single bit. Yet he had never really asked his other bro about the school since whenever the topic had popped up Bakugo had gone on a rant and the green haired boy had only nodded in agreement.

"Y-Yeah." Izuku said looking anywhere but at him with nervousness and…shame?

Kirishima narrowed his eyes and laid his hand on his friend's shoulder frowning deeply when he felt the boy flinch. "Its not manly to not look at your friends Midoriya." He said.

Izuku flinched and looked up at him with wide trembling green eyes. To Kirishima it looked like he was looking into a mirror. A mirror to his old self.

He frowned and his grip grew tighter. "Hey. Whatever that guy said to you. It ain't true alright." He assured his friend to look at him for a long moment before slowly nodding.

"Alright." He let his arm drop down and smiled at his friend warmly. "If you ever need to talk, I'm always available man. It would be real unmanly if I didn't help a brother out."

"B-Brother?" Izuku squeaked out.

"Well yeah. You, Bakubro, Sero and everyone else in class." He shrugged. "You're like my brothers." He smirked at him and winked. "And I'll always be there to help my bros out!"

Izuku found himself looking down with tears building in his eyes. But he wiped them away quickly and looked back at the smiling red head and smiled a small genuine smile of thanks. "Thank you, Kirishima."

"No problem, man." He assured before placing his arm around his shoulder and gave him a manly hug. "Did you even get to do your workout before he started messing with you?" he asked.

Izuku sighed softly and shook his head. "N-No. And to be honest. I d-don't really want to finish it." He said placing his phone back into his bag.

"I get it." He said with a reassuring smile. "Then we will just go twice as hard tomorrow!" he said with a hardened fist.

"Y-Yeah." Izuku said with a small frown remembering what the horned teen said but shaking his head. "S-S-Sure." He said, picking up his bag and slinging it over his shoulder.

"And Midoribro."

"Yeah?"

"The gym is for everyone, that includes you bro." The red-haired teen said causing the boy to freeze up in shock as he turned to see the teen with an easy-going smile and warm red eyes.

Izuku blinked slowly before a small thankful smile grew on his face and he nodded. "R-Right." He replied.

"Good. Now let's get back to the dorms. I'm beat!" The red-haired teen said as he went to grab his bag and swing it over his shoulder.

"Um…shouldn't you…you know." Izuku asked gesturing to his exposed upper body.

"Why? I'm not sleeping with one on." He replied with a tilted head. "Besides the only shirt I brought was the one I had on when working out." He said with a small shrug.

"O-Oh. Well okay then." He said starting to walk with the teen back to the dorms.

"You know, you should go shirtless more often man. Show off those manly muscles!" Kirishima shouted out with a fist raised.

Izuku would end up being a blushing stuttering mess as he and his close friend walked back to the dorms. His heart warmer and lighter knowing that he had such a good friend.
