Baking the Bad Vibes Away

The early morning hours of UA high was considered by most, to be a period of calm. It was a time where the rowdy students whose dreams were to become the next great defenders and heroes of the world, rested and slept away.

Some students however took the peace and quite to get a head start on the day. Some getting up to hit the gym for an early morning workout or to have early study sessions to keep up with their academics.

Yes, for many the mornings of UA where a time of peace. For one student however, his goal was not to work on his quirk or even to study, but instead, he would be doing one of the things he loved most of all.

Baking.

Sato Rikido, or just Sato to those he considered a friend was just waking up and making his way down to the common room kitchen to begin with his favorite pastime. Baking for the rest of his classmates.

The large teen smiled softly with his big lips and his eyes warmed at what had become a monthly tradition that had started around the first week that the class moved into the dorms. He remembered fondly the first time he had baked for the class.

Mina wouldn't leave him alone for weeks! He chuckled softly and shook his head as he walked into the elevator and pressed the button to take him down to the ground floor. Mina wasn't the only one he recalled that had fallen in love with his baking. Apparently Momo had as well and had often joined him in his baking to make tea, different biscuits and had taught him about other kinds of pastries and desserts he had never heard of before.

After seeing the price tag for the ingredients, he understood why.

Still, he had smiled bashfully as he had worked with her and they both made less expensive versions of those dishes and the class had all fallen in love with their sweets. Even Bakugo!

The large teen had to snort as he remembered how the blond bomber had come down in a foul mood and had snapped at a pastry that Midoriya was about to eat and chumped down. Sato, along the rest of the class had the shocking pleasure of watching the boy stiffen before melting into a chair as his eyes gained a glassy expression and he smiled almost dreamily!

Thanks to Sero and the fact that the blond was out of it, the tape hero was able to film the whole thing and send it to Sato who had saved it to his phone so he could immortalize that moment.

They never mentioned it again to the blond except for some shared looks of amusement whenever he had passed by them or when he had come down a little faster when he smelt that Sato was baking. Of course, he had made Midoriya another pastry, since while the boy looked both shocked and amused, he also looked disappointed that his treat was taken.

The large teen had to frown softly as he leaned back on the wall of the elevator and narrowed his eyes slightly. Midoriya. An enigma if there ever was one. Now Sato had no issue with the green haired boy, in fact he considered the teen a dear friend, but he had to admit that Izuku was strange.

First off, his quirk and his personality did not match. At all.

Sato may have been many things; slow he was not. Well, until he eats a few grams of sugar more then he was supposed to, than a pencil could be smarter than him. The point is, however, is that from what the large teen had seen and experienced, Midoriya was a timid kid who seemed to stutter his way through conversations until he became comfortable. He was also very kind and sweet to anyone. Even to Bakugo, who from what Sato could guess hated the poor guy for some reason.

That kind of personality dose not match the quirk that the green haired boy had. Superpower is what he called it, a power type quirk that allowed him to blow up a damn building with a punch and throw a softball with a sonic boom!

It did not add up, but he wouldn't pry. The poor guy was going through enough as it was. He sighed softly and looked down as he folded his arms over his night shirt with the word "Sugar" written in English on the front and frowned deeply.

After what happened with All Might and that All for One guy, things grew tense between Izuku and the class. Well tense wouldn't be the right word, more like distant. The boy that had once done his all to help anyone had clammed up and looked almost like he had shut down or was close to it. His green eyes had dimmed and were red from where he had been crying nonstop.

He also missed many meals, something that the large teen was not going to let slide. While his expertise was baking, he also knew how to make normal food, just not the same extent as his baked cakes and sweets.

He had remembered making many trips to the green haired teens room and had knocked on the door with a plate of food and sweets and gently sat them down on the small table that Iida had set up outside his door when the teen started spending many days in his room.

He smiled softly when he had caught his fellow classmate Ochaco Uraraka within the kitchen with a cookbook out, eyes alit with determined but concerned fire, trying to cook something for the teen, since he did not come to dinner. He had decided against alerting her and had returned to his room knowing that Izuku was in good hands.

That was till the class realized that he was overworking himself.

He had to groan and leaned his head back on the cold wall of the elevator as he had remembered that emotional moment. Kirishima was the one that had dragged the green haired teen into the dorm room with a deep frown and had sat him down while he demanded that Sato and fellow strength quirk user Shoji hold him down while Sero taped him down for good measure.

Kirishima had then explained how he had caught the green haired teen working in the gym and had almost collapsed with a dumbbell over his head. One that weighed a good amount to cause great harm. The class had a sit down with him during that moment.

At first, he remained quiet but soon he started bawling his eyes out and had blubbered apologies to everyone for being a burden and causing them nothing but trouble and worrying them. A good number of the class crushed him in a hug. Sato had made him a special cake that night. Izuku, still crying had given the sugar rush quirk user the brightest smile filled with so much gratitude that he could feel his quirk activate from the sugary feeling it provided.

Class Cinnamon Roll indeed.

He snorted at that and shook his head as the elevator dinged and he walked out and heading for the kitchen. He paused however as he saw a light on. He blinked and slowly approached the lit kitchen and peered inside to see a rather alarming sight.

There, sitting at the table was Izuku Midoriya. He was still in his night clothes and looked like he had just woken up due to the slouched way he was sitting. But Sato saw something that caused him deep concern.

He had trained with his internship teacher how to be more aware and to observe a situation before charging in. It was something he took to heart since he became a literal battering ram with his quirk. It was something he needed to focus on if he wanted to improve. Since then, he had taken to observing his classmates and seeing if he could notice how they were feeling or what they would do.

So far, he had gotten pretty good. Like whenever Minato smirks he was about to make a perverted comment or whenever Jiro has her head down, she is listening to a song she likes. He also noticed when Toru was happy or sad, something he was rewarded for with a big hug.

So, seeing how his classmate was currently, was making him worried. Izuku may seemed relaxed in that slouched position but his body was stiff. In fact if Sato was looking right, the boy looked to be trembling slightly. But the big giveaway for the large teen was that his classmate's eyes were wide and bloodshot.

Showing…something that alarmed the large hero making him take a step towards his friend causing the floorboard to creak from his large size. His friend's head snapped up with quickness he was not expecting, and Sato flinched back as the green haired teens body was bathed with the green electricity of his quirk for but a moment before fading just as quickly. But it was his eyes that caused the most distress as they looked terrified.

"S-S-S-S-ato?" Izuku whispered his body's trembling slowing.

"Midoriya?" Sato asked back with a cautious tone. His arms raised up in a sign of good faith. "You alright?"

The green haired teen flinched and looked away quickly to hide his face that was growing red from possible embarrassment. "Y-Yeah." He mumbled softly.

Sato raised an eyebrow at the green haired teen, "You sure?" He asked gently moving closer to the boy slowly as to not startle him.

Izuku nodded almost jittery. "Y-Yeah. I-I'm good." He said before looking back at the large teen and gave him a smile that just looked forced. "W-What are you doing up t-this early?" He had asked just as softly as before.

Sato shrugged with a concerned look. "It's the end of the month. Its my baking day for the class." He answered making the green haired teens eyes to widened in surprise.

"Oh! T-that's right!" he said now sounding embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his head. "I g-guess I lost track of time." He muttered.

Sato couldn't help but chuckle softly. "We need to get you a calendar for Christmas?" he teased lightly causing the green haired teens cheeks to burn but the small smile he gave out was enough to Sato.

"Got any requests?" The large teen asked as he moved further into the kitchen and started to pull out some pots and pans.

He grabbed all the ingredients he could use to make enough treats for everyone while also deciding in the back of his mind on what cake to make. Carrot or Marble.

"Uh…I…I always l-loved c-chocolate chip." The quite voice of his friend made the large teen smile grow as he looked over at the timid teen and gave him a wink.

"One batch of chocolate chip cookies coming up!" he announced making Izuku blush but give out a more genuine smile. Another win in Satos book.

Time past by in a blur as Sato set to work doing what he did best. Baking was one of the most relaxing things he could remember doing. Not only did it allow him to experiment with his quirk, but it also provided joy to his friends and family whenever they tasted it. Something he was still surprised at.

Soon the aroma of freshly baked chocolate and cookies were engulfing the small kitchen causing a warm almost giddy feeling to blossom in the large teen's chest. If he was being honest, he loved baking about as much as he loved being a hero.

Soon enough he pulled the tray of smoking hot cookies from the oven and set the tray aside before moving two more with different kind of cookies into the oven and closed it. He set the timer and slowly and gently placed the very hot chocolate chip cookies onto a plate and sat them down on the table before the green haired teen who had drifted off slightly due to the pleasant smells.

Sato watched as Izuku blinked his eyes open slowly before looking down at the steaming plate before watching his eyes grow wide and look over at the large teen who smiled warmly and sat down a glass of milk next to him.

"Dig in man." He said simply making the teens eyes to widen further.

"B-But a-aren't these for the c-class?" he had asked his face red and his head tilted in an adorable way.

Sato chuckled softly and sat down across from him. "Nah, I got a bunch of other stuff in the oven for everyone else. Those are just for you." He said pointing at the wide-eyed teen.

Izuku looked touched as he gave a watery smile at the large teen. "T-Thank you." He muttered softly but Sato could tell the boy was trying his hardest not to cry.

Sato rolled his eyes good naturally. "Come on man. At least try them before you start bawling." He teased with an easy-going smile.

Izuku gulped and wiped at his eyes with his arm. "R-Right!" As the teen took a bite Sato felt a feeling of pride as he watched his once tense classmate melt into his chair and let out a moan of closed eyed delight.

"Careful with those sounds Midoriya." Sato warned with a small smirk. "Don't want to give Mina any ammunition, do we?" he asked with a wink causing the teen to blush and almost choke on his cookie in laughter.

"S-Sato!" he quietly shouted making the large teen chuckle softly.

As the mood lightened and a rather comfortable silence engulfed them, Izuku enjoyed his treats and Sato observed with a smile, waiting on the next batch to be done. He observed the boys now bright smile and his shining emerald green eyes. A major contrast to before.

Sato frowned softly at that remembrance and gazed over at a hanging clock that was hanging over the oven to see it was still relatively early. He gazed back at the green haired teen and his eyes narrowed slightly. "Hey, Midoriya?" he started causing the boy to turn to him with the glass of milk on his lips as he took a drink. "I didn't ask before, but what are you doing up this early?" he asked back.

He watched the green haired teen almost choke on his milk as he slammed the glass down and stare at Sato with wide eyes showing a hint of what was there before as his body tensed.

"The only reason I ask is because you don't get up till around five." Sato said with his hands raised up. "I get up at three just to get everything ready." He said with a shrug.

"O-Oh." Izuku replied with a whisper and looked away biting his lip. "I…its nothing." He muttered.

Sato stared hard at the green haired teen with narrowed eyes. "Do I need to grab the class for another invention?" he asked.

Izuku snapped his head around to stare with wide eyes at the serious look on the larger teens face. "W-What?"

"Look, you either tell me why you looked scared to death before or I grab the class and you can tell everyone." He said seriously. "You almost killed yourself from not speaking up when you were hurting before. So please." The large teen let out a deep breath and gazed at the green haired teen with a soft gaze. "Just talk to me."

Izuku stared wide eyed at the large teen before him in shock. Sato huffed before looking down at the half-eaten plate of cookies. "I'll take them from you if you don't talk." He warned.

"Okay I'll talk! I'll talk!" Izuku said grabbing the plate and holding it over his head with wide panicked eyes.

Sato snorted before holding a hand to his large lips and tried to hold off a belly laugh. "D-Damn!" Sato breathed out his smile wide. "If that was all it took, I would have led with that."

Izuku pouted at the large teen but relaxed and placed the plate down closer to himself, much to Sato's amusement. "I…" Izuku took a long breath before letting it out in a tired sigh. "I had a n-nightmare." He revealed.

Sato frowned softly gazing at his friend in sympathy. "You want to talk about it?" he asked softly.

Izuku let out a deep sigh and gazed up looking more tired than Sato had ever seen him. "Just…memories." he commented softly.

"Memories?" Sato asked with a confused expression. "Like the USJ or the Summer Camp?" he asked shivering slightly. Lord knows he had his own share of nightmares after those events.

Izuku shook his head slowly. "N-No. I mean, I get those from time to time, but…no these are from…earlier."

"Earlier?" Sato asked now very confused and lost.

Midoriya nodded slowly.

"Like how much earlier we talking?" Sato asked with a concerned expression.

"J-Junior High." Izuku reviled.

Sato's eyes widened in surprise. That far?! He thought with worry. He gazed at his friend with concern. What exactly had happened at that school to cause him nightmares?

"B-Back then…I…I wasn't much liked." Izuku reviled taking a small nibble of a cookie to help calm his nerves.

Sato just blinked in confusion and felt his eyes narrow in confusion. "What?"

Izuku looked up with a depressed look on his face as his eyes were dull and his lips not in a smile but a small frown. "I wasn't liked. No one…no one wanted to be around me." He said with a small, defeated shrug.

"That…that doesn't…" Sato was having a hard time believing that. From all that he had seen from this guy he looked like he could make friends easy. Hell, his smile alone could make someone his friend! He's seen it! So, to believe that his friend was not liked at his old school was rather shocking.

Izuku chuckled with no humor in his tone before looking down at the plate and sighed. "I just dreamed I was…back there." He muttered shaking slightly. "And…nothing had changed." He whispered the last part shaking slightly as he curled up into himself.

"You were…bullied?" Sato asked with wide eyes.

Izuku flinched at that word but slowly nodded as he avoided looking at the large teen.

"How?" Sato breathed out in shock.

Izuku sighed softly. "I was an e-easy target." Izuku revealed. "I…I didn't know my place and-"

"No, I mean how? You have a quirk that could demolish a city with a single punch, and you are just…so cheerful, helpful, and kind. Kami." Sato gripped his head as he leaned down onto the table. "The amount of restraint you have is legendary man." Sato said with a shake of the head.

Izuku stiffened at that and sighed softly before looking away with a deep frown and his eyes closed. "I was a…late bloomer." He reviled softly causing the sugar rush hero to freeze in place.

Sato slowly looked up with wide eyes as he gazed at the trembling form of his friend and felt a feeling slowly enter his heart and soul.

Red Hot Rage.

"Who were they?" he asked evenly.

Izuku's eyes snapped open and he turned his head only to flinch at the look of barley-controlled rage in the sugar rush heroes' eyes. His hands were curled into two powerful fists that with the right amount of sugar could break down steel walls and break bones like it was made of paper.

"S-Sato?" Izuku asked nervously.

"Who were they?" He asked again his eyes narrowed further and his large lips set into a scowl. "So, I can pay them a…" he raised his hands up and cracked his knuckles rather loudly making the green haired teen jump in shock. "Delivery." He growled out.

"Uh…t-t-that won't be n-n-necessary!" Izuku said shaking his hands in front of himself trying to calm down his large friend.

"Bullshit it won't!" Sato cursed causing the green haired teen to jump "No one hurts my friends and gets away with it." Sato announced with force.

"S-Sato…" Izuku breathed out always surprised when someone calls him their friend.

The large teen stood up pushing his chair back as he griped the table tight. "Did you ever tell a teacher? Did they do anything?" he asked with force.

Izuku flinched and slowly shook his head looking away and then flinched again when he heard the large boy let out a growl.

"Where was this school?" He asked moving around to grab some loose sugar packs from the cabinets. "So, I can knock it down." He growled out.

"Wait!"

Sato paused and looked over at the now standing Izuku who had rushed over and gripped the sugar rush heroes' arm with his scarred hand. "It's okay Sato."

"No, it's not!" Sato snapped back with a glare. "Those people hurt you for thinking you were quirkless! That's just…augh!" He snapped and was about to punch the wall only for his hand to be caught by the green haired teens who held it while his body sparked with green lighting.

"Sato! Calm down! Please!" Izuku begged as he held the sugar rush heroes arm tightly.

The large teen glared over at his friend for a moment before he closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths before slowly relaxing. "Alright." He said once he was calm.

Izuku cut off his quirk and let go of Sato's arm who rubbed it gently wincing in slight pain. "Hell of a grip." He muttered.

Izuku chuckled softly. "T-Thanks." He said softly.

Sato sighed and plopped down onto the chair and reached over and grabbed a cookie and plopped it into his mouth. He needed comfort food now dammit! He swallowed and looked over at his friend and sighed. "Sorry."

Izuku beamed at him with a small smile. "I-Its alright." He said softly. "Reminds me of the…" Izuku paused as he looked down at his scarred hand and held it close and tried to lower it to hide it under the table.

Sato scowled deeply. Oh yes. Sato remembered that day very well. Him and Izuku had just gotten done doing an internship together and had decided to stop by a restaurant to celebrate and unwind from the hard day.

Everything was going well. People were asking for autographs and pictures of Izuku since the teen was becoming more well known since the Sports Festival. Something Sato smirked at as he saw how uncomfortable it made his friend, but the green haired heroes' eyes had shined brightly then as he posed for pictures and sighed photos and notebooks. Sato had huffed lightly as he signed a few autographs as well for the few people who knew him.

It was only when someone walked up to the table and had done something completely foolish did things go downhill.

"What's with the scars?" The voice called out causing everyone to pause and turn to see a boy around Izuku's age with short blue hair and yellow eyes. He was wearing a loose jacket and his shirt hadn't looked to have been ironed in years. His pants were even covered in grease stains.

"H-Huh?" Izuku had asked out confused over the teens question.

"The scars." The young man had pointed out again with a cold tone and a glare. "What kind of hero in training already has scars that bad?" he asked out with folded arms.

Izuku flinched back at the cold told the boy was throwing him and Sato watched as he shrunk into himself slightly.

"W-Well…they are my reminder to do better." Izuku answered back softly trying to be firm.

"You mean you weren't before?" The teen asked again the same cold tone directed at the green haired teen making him flinch and making Sato angry.

"Maybe you should calm down." Sato said gently sitting up straighter and glaring at the teen pointedly.

"Or maybe he should answer." The teen replied coldly. "Well, lets here it Deku, why do you have so many scars?" He asked back pushing the hero in training with a dark tone.

"I…I…had…" The teen didn't let him finish.

"How are people going to look up to you huh?" The guy asked with a click of the tongue. "Knowing that their hero is somebody who can't even take care of themselves. Who lets them get hurt to that extent." He said addressing the scarred hand of the hero. "I mean can you even write correctly now?" he mocked.

"I think you've said enough." An older man spoke up placing a hand on the teens shoulder while the rest of the gathered members of the restaurant glared at the teen.

The teen shrugged off the man's hand. "You think you can be a hero? Deku means useless you idiot! You want people to believe in a useless hero? That's assuring." He spoke dryly before looking around at the many people in the restaurant. "Tell me, do you want to be rescued by Deku the useless!?" he asked out.

Sato slowly rose from his chair as he watched the people start to talk and look at the shaking green haired teen who had tears starting to shine in his eyes.

The blue haired teen turned around with a cold glare ignoring the sugar filled furry that he was building. "Let me ask you. Do you honestly think you could do it? Despite everything you try to do, you fail spectacularly on." He hissed out. "You came in bloody third behind someone who could use fire and ice. While breaking your damn arms and fingers!" He shouted out making the teen flinch.

"I…I…" Izuku took a deep breath and glared at the teen with watery eyes. "I can be a hero!" he said back with conviction that seemed to move the masses.

Did little to the blue haired aggressor though. "Oh?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "How you going to do that without your arms?" He mocked coldly. "You plan to kick villains to submission? Show them your crooked handwriting?" he huffed and shook his head. "You'll be dead in a year."

"Okay that's enough." Sato said stepping in front of the blue haired asshole and Midoriya. His arms were crossed over his broad chest and he had the meanest look of intimidation he had ever given, making many of the gathered fans back away in fear. "Back off or I'll make you." He threatened.

The blue haired teen glared at Sato. "Who the hell are you?" he asked.

"Dude! That's Sugar-Man!" A chubby kid shouted out with a glare and a frown at the blue haired teens oblivious. "He's the coolest hero! He uses sugar to grow super strong!" he cheered.

Sato felt his cheeks grow warm at the praise of the young child but kept his glare on the blue haired teen before him. "Well?" he asked in a cold tone.

The teen huffed and looked beside him to see the wide eyed Midoriya staring at them. "Having someone else fight your battles? Now that's not heroic." He commented snidely.

Izuku flinched and caved further into himself. Sato saw red but tried to keep his cool. He couldn't attack a pedestrian no matter how much he wanted to right now. "Hey! I said back off! I'm not warning you again!" the large hero ordered taking a step forward making the teen take a step back with wide eyes.

The teen regained his composure and glared back at him. "Why do you care so much?" he asked.

"You're insulting my friend and classmate." Sato replied coldly. His scowl grew deeper as he saw the teen chuckle mockingly.

"Friend?" he asked almost like he couldn't believe it. "Your friends with that disaster case?" he asked with a small shake of the head. "Your class should have dropped him the moment he stepped foot onto that school. He doesn't deserve to be where some of the best heroes were."

"Deku, is twice the hero they were." Sato replied heatedly making Izuku's head snap up and stare at the large teen with wide eyed surprise. "He leads us. He inspires us. He pushes us to do better and we push him too." He growled out to the teen. "So, I will kindly ask you to apologize to my friend for all that you have said today and go on your way before I call in a pro hero." He demanded with a scowl.

It was dead silent in the restaurant for what felt like hours. The wide-eyed teen gulped slightly before letting out a cough into his closed fist and nodded once.

Sato nodded and stepped aside so the two could be face to face.

Izuku stared at the teen with wide eyes as the teen stared at him with a dull expression. Finally, the teen bowed to the green haired teen and Sato breathed a sigh of relief.

"I'm sorry no one will ever love you."

Sero punched that blue haired dick through the wall.

Sato growled low coming back from the memory. "I wished you let me do worse to that dick." He grumbled.

Izuku shrugged with a small chuckle. "We were already in trouble. Better to not make it worse." He spoke.

"I guess." Sato said with a sigh. He gazed at the teen with a small frown. "You know its not true right?" he asked softly.

Izuku stiffened before letting out a small sigh and gazing down looking unsure. "H-He made some g-good points." Izuku muttered.

"The jerk was just looking for attention." Sato said with a hand wave. "Look we all make mistakes. I mean when I eat too much sugar, I break walls with my face." He said pointing to himself causing Izuku to chuckle softly. "The point is we learn, and we grow. "He smiled at the green-eyed boy. "That's something you taught me you know." He revealed softly.

"M-Me?" Izuku asked with surprise.

"Yeah. I mean you never give up." Sato said shaking his head and looking up at the ceiling. "Even when you break your bones till you couldn't punch anymore, you adapted and changed how you fought." He shook his head. "I couldn't do that." He said softly.

Sato looked back down with a warm grin on his large lips. "You're amazing." He praised with a shrug.

Izuku's eyes were wide as tears slowly slid down his cheeks in wonder. Sato chuckled and shook his head in amusement. "I swear we are getting you a lifetime supply of tissues for the holidays if you don't stop crying." He teased causing Izuku to laugh. A deep belly laugh that had Sato joining in.

It was only when they stopped laughing did Sato notice a stench had entered the aria. He scrunched up his nose in disgust at the smell. It smelled like…

"OH SHIT!" he shouted jumping up and dashing into the kitchen.

He reached the oven turned it off quickly and opened the door only to blasted by black smoke making him cough and hack not expecting it.

Sato waved the smoke away and gripped the tray with his oven mitts on and lifted the two trays and had to wave his hands from side to side just to get the smoke away.

"SATO?!" Izuku shouted out rushing to join him only to stare wide eyed at all the smoke.

"Open a window!" Sato ordered and he noticed a flash of green disappear before he felt a breeze enter the room. Guess he opened all the windows.

Sato waved away the smoke and felt Izuku join him as the two gazed at the now black smudge that used to be sugar and almond cookies.

Sato sighed deeply and placed his large hand over his face as his body sagged. "That hasn't happened to me in a while." He groaned.

"I-I'm sorry." Izuku meekly apologized.

Sato shook his head. "Not your fault. I wasn't paying attention to the time." He assured placing his large hand on his classmate's shoulder.

Izuku gave the teen a doubtful look but nodded slowly.

Sato sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Well. I don't know if I have time for everything I wanted to make now." He muttered.

He was really looking forward to making those cakes too! He felt a nudge to his side, and he turned, and his eyes widened when he saw Izuku with his own green apron on and a determined look in his eyes.

"No worries! I am here!" he said mimicking the former number one hero.

"Wha?" Sato asked confused.

Izuku blushed darkly before coughing into his fist. "I-I mean. I could help." He muttered.

"Help?" Sato asked blinking in surprise.

Izuku nodded with a small honest smile. "Yeah. Mom and I used to bake all the time during the holidays." He said before looking down. "I-I don't know how much help I would be but…I want to help you for listening to me and its my fault that the cookies were burned anyway because of my nightmare and I know you were just being a good friend, but I should have reminded you-"

"Hey, Small Might." Sato said causing Izuku to jump and blush darkly at what he was just doing and then pout at the name that the large teen gave him. Honestly, the next time Izuku has a spar with Sero he is going to regret it.

Sato smirked but his eyes held nothing but warmth. "I'd really appreciate it man." He said making Izuku give off one of his trademarked large smiles. The ones that could light up a room and make one think the sun had come down to say hello.

Sato smirked and dumped the burned cookies into the trash. "Alright. We are already low on time. So, if you can get the cookies ready, I can worry about the cakes and pastries alright?" he asked.

Izuku nodded. "Let's split the pastries between us. That way we are working on one individual thing and sharing the load on another." He advised moving over and starting to gather ingredients and his own bowl.

"I like the way you think! Let's go Cinnamon Roll!" Sato cheered.

Izuku blushed but smirked back good naturally. "Right behind you Sugar-Man!"

The two worked nonstop. Like a well-oiled machine of baking prowess. If anyone were awake at the time, they would have seen the amazing teamwork that these two masters of the baking scene were accomplishing. A spectacle if ever there was one.

To put it bluntly when all of class 1-A woke up they were shocked to see five sets of cookies of each type, plenty of muffins, cupcakes, pies, and tarts of different flavors along with two fully decked out cakes. One being carrot, and the other marble. Yet there was one more surprise that pushed them over the edge. Freshly made pancakes and waffles had been made and the stacks were huge. Along with that the coffee maker was already on and was brewing cup's as they took their seats. They felt so spoiled.

Sato and Izuku watched with warm smiles and tired expressions as their class dug in and enjoyed the breakfast, they decided to make last. Sato nudged his friends' shoulder and Izuku nudged back both smirking lightly at seeing Backugo melt into his chair, Shoto let out a content smile, Mina let out a moan that sounded not suitable for the breakfast table, Momo looked like she ascended and saw the divine before coming back down to earth, and Ochaco slipped out of her chair and floated away her hands over her cheeks as she moaned in delight, to explain a few of the wonderful reactions to their baking.

On this day it was decided in secret that while Sato would continue his monthly baking. He would occasionally call in Midoriya for aid. Only during stressful moments, or when Sato grew sick or even when they wanted to surprise the class because they cared.

And for Izuku, as he became surrounded by his friends and classmates with Sato's large arm over his shoulder and Ochaco leaning into his other side making him blush darkly but seeing everyone smiling and laughing enjoying the baking he and Sato made, he smiled truly.

That guy was wrong. He was loved.

So very loved.
