Konohagakure training yard 9
Naruto entered the training area with Kabuto and asked Kabuto "Kabuto Sensei what it is that you would like me to train with you in preparation for the final matches." Kabuto then said, "Have you noticed that when your shadow clones dissipate you get their memories." Naruto then thought about it for a minute and then said "yeah, I think so when we were training I remember when Torune or Aina would defeat my cloned I would get them." Kabuto then told Naruto "now I want you to create shadow clones to practice the chakra scalpel I was teaching you." After Kabuto was finished talking Naruto nodded and then created twenty-five shadow clones and began practicing. Naruto then asked Kabuto, "While they are doing that, how will I train." Kabuto then told Naruto "while your shadow clones are practicing, you will practice taijutsu with this." Kabuto then took out weights very similar to the ones Rock Lee used. Kabuto then explained, "After seeing how fast Rock Lee was in that match against you I thought how fast you could do if you did the same thing, and also they would be very useful for your match against Gaara." Naruto then put on the weight and immediately felt how heavy they were. Naruto then thought about the results and created five shadow clones to train with. After this Aina asked Kabuto "Kabuto-Sensei what will I be training with." Kabuto then told Aina ``well after seeing your efforts at the chunin exams I believe you could be able to have a chakra cloak similar to what the cloud village has." Aina was excited by this prospect and began sparring with Kabuto using lightning style attacks. Torune was practicing with his bugs trying to gain control of them was unlike most of his clan and was trying to make it so he was able to choose if his bugs harm people or if they do not.
Konoha, Hokage Tower
Hiruzen was doing the paperwork that he had to do as the Hokage when Jiraiya entered the office. Hiruzen said to Jiraiya "good to see you Jiraiya, what is the purpose of this visit." Jiraiya then said to Hiruzen "I have come to see my godson, how has he been doing." Hiruzen then told Jiraiya "he has been doing well, his team has actually all passed the first section of the chunin exams." Jiraiya then said "good, now tell me, are the rumors about him having that kekkei Genkai true." Hiruzen then took a long smoke from his pipe and then exhaled and said "yes it is true that he is of that clan, however even though this kekkei Genkai has been quite useful he has gained unwanted attention because of it, sadly that includes your old teammate and my old student Orochimaru, he gave Naruto one of his putrid curse marks." Jiraiya then felt disgusted. "Damn that snake, he probably wants to take Naruto for a nefarious purpose, we can't let him take Naruto." Hiruzen then asked Jiraiya "what is it that you plan to do about this." Jiraiya then told his Sensei "for now I plan to train him, by the way, who is his other teammates, are they from any clans, and who is his sensei." Hiruzen then thought about it and said "his teammates are from the Aburame and Hyuga clan and his sensei is Kabuto Yakushi, why do you ask." Jiraiya then said, "well, just curious, I would like to know who his Sensei is and who he has been training with." Jiraiya then began, going to see Naruto who was not ready to meet another member of the Sannin.
Two days later training field nine
Naruto had been training his taijutsu with the weights and had been feeling comfortable with them and his work with the chakra scalpel had come along well. Naruto went to Kabuto when he saw a weird man with white hair walking up to him and said "are you Naruto." Naruto then said "yes I am Naruto Kaguya, who are you." The man then smiled and said, "I am Jiraiya of the Sannin." Naruto then thought 'wait this guy is one of the Sannin, guess doesn't judge by appearance, wait if he is a Sannin, then he must have some very strong techniques I am sure Kabuto-Sensei wouldn't mind him teaching me something.' Naruto then asked Jiraiya "hey if you're really one of the Sannin, can you teach me a technique." Jiraya then responded, "alright what would you like to learn." Naruto then said, "Could you teach me an offensive attack." Jiraiya then thought about this and said "Well I guess I could teach you this." Jiraiya then showed Naruto a Rasengan, this amazed Naruto who asked Jiraiya "can you please teach me it." Jiraiya then said, "alright I guess I could teach you it." Jiraiya then gave Naruto a water balloon and told him "what you need to do is get the water's chakra to circulate without bursting it." Naruto then nodded and created five shadow clones to do the same thing. Jiraiya then thought 'so he already figured that out.' Jiraiya then asked Naruto "where is your sensei." naruto then said, "he should be in training field nine with Aina." Jiraiya then went over there to see who this Kabuto he had been told about is like. Jiraiya as he was walking began to think 'Naruto appears to be improving very quickly, I wonder if this has anything to do with the Kyuubi and how much of a role his sensei has played in it, guess I will figure those questions soon enough' as he thought that he reached training field nine.
Meanwhile Training Field Seven, Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke had been training with Kakashi all day on mastering the Chidori. Kakashi told him "you know you can take a break Sasuke." Sasuke then said, "no I can't take a break until I master the Jutsu, how will I surpass Naruto if I take a break now." Sakura then asked Sasuke "why do you care about what Naruto thinks, I think he is just a weirdo who can pull bones out of his arms to make weapons, I think you are way cooler Sasuke." Sasuke then glared at Sakura and said "Naruto is my rival, if I can't beat him there is no way I will ever be strong enough to kill Itachi." Kakashi then told Sasuke "If you want to master the Chidori, you will have to make sure you have your Sharingan activated, if you do not you will have tunnel vision, you will get fixed on one thing and once it gets released you will be very vulnerable to an attack." Sasuke then nodded and then attempted the jutsu again, however after he successfully did it he almost collapsed. Kakashi then told Sasuke "see you did it now take a break, if you don't you may be unable to do anything due to chakra strain." Sasuke then sat down and drank some water. Sasuke then asked Kakashi "I have mastered the Chidori, is there anything else you can teach me?" Kakashi then replied, "well since both your taijutsu has improved and you have mastered Chidori I could teach you how to imbue your weapons with lightning chakra." Sasuke then nodded. Kakashi then looked at Sakura and said "Now I believe we should focus on your development, I think you should focus on combating genjutsu, however, I also think once this is over you should focus on learning medical ninjutsu, you have shown excellent chakra control." Sakura then nodded and they all got back to work.
Team nine training yard Kabuto Yakushi
Jiraiya joined Kabuto and the rest of the team Nine training in the training field. As Kabuto saw Jiraiya coming he ended the spar with Aina to pay attention to the Sannin coming towards them. Kabuto then said, "So Jiraiya what brings you here." Jiraiya then said, "oh just checking up on Naruto and thought to see how the rest of his team is and how they are doing." Jiraiya then looked at Aina and said "that looked like some interesting chakra you showed, that reminded me of something I saw in the Raikage." Kabuto then said, "yes Aina has shown a very strong affinity to lightning chakra, we are trying to see if she can show something similar and are trying to maintain it for longer." After that Jiraiya looked at Torune and asked "so what is this kid's deal?" Kabuto then said "well Torune has a rare type of bugs, unlike most Aburame he has very little control over his bugs, I am trying to teach him how to control them better." before they could continue one of Naruto's Shadow clones came and said, "Kabuto-Sensei the boss has finished mastering the chakra scalpel and Jiraiya we have finished the first step, what is next." Kabuto and Jiraiya then followed the clone, Kabuto then asked Jiraiya "what did you teach him." Jiraiya then said, "well I started teaching him the Rasengan, I am surprised he is mastering it so fast." Kabuto then said, "he has been using clones to speed up training." Then they both reached Naruto who asked Jiraiya "so what is next." Jiraiya then handed him a rubber ball and said "now you have to use chakra to make the ball pop and have the chakra spinning." Naruto then got right to work, excited to complete his training.
Three days later, Naruto
Naruto had practiced all week trying to learn the Rasengan, he had finished the first and second stages in the week, Naruto had shown Jiraiya and Kabuto this, his progress had surprised Jiraiya with the speed, he now had to learn how to circulate to chakra without it being in a ball. Naruto had to concentrate, this however was interrupted when Torune came to talk. Torune said, "what are you doing Naruto." Naruto then looked up and explained, "I have to circulate the chakra into a ball." Torune then asked Naruto, "well, what if you make sure it is constantly spinning." Naruto then facepalmed thinking 'why did I not think of it.' Naruto then told Torune "thanks Torune." Naruto then tried to do it and to his excitement, it worked. Both of them were astonished by this, Torune then thought 'so this is the Jutsu created by the Third Hokage.' Naruto then dissipated it and said, "so let's go find Jiraiya and see if there is anything more that I can learn from him." Both of them then went to Jiraiya, when they made it to the training field nine Jiraiya was talking to Kabuto. Naruto then interrupted them saying "Hey Jiraiya I finished, is there anything else you can teach me." Naruto then demonstrated to Jiraiya. Jiraiya then said, "wow good job Naruto, well if you want to learn something else I guess I could teach you the summoning Jutsu." Jiraiya then demonstrated and then Naruto tried to copy, however, when Naruto tried to do it he disappeared in smoke. Torune then asked Jiraiya "what happened to Naruto." Jiraiya then said "well when you do a summoning jutsu you need a contract, but if you don't have a contract you get sent to the area of the animal you have a preference to. Kabuto then said, "Well due to an altercation he had recently I suspect he will go to Ryuchi Cave, home of the snake summon." Kabuto thought 'I hope he is okay.'
Ryuchi Cave, Naruto
Naruto landed in a dark chamber, all he could see was a large throne, Naruto said "hello, is anyone here?" Naruto then looked up and saw a giant white Snake with an ornate piece of headwear and a pendant around her neck. She then spoke, "I am the White snake sage of Ryuchi cave, who are you." Naruto then looked up and said, "I am Naruto Kaguya, so what is this place." The Snake Sage then said "so, you don't know what this place is, this is where the snake summons dwell. You have the chakra of Orochimaru on you. Why is that?" Naruto then replied, "well funny story about that Orochimaru attacked me and tagged me with this, this is probably why." Naruto then showed her the curse mark on his neck. She then said to him "So you must have come here for a purpose, you can't be here for Senjutsu, you're too young for that, do you want a summoning contract." Naruto then asked, "what is the purpose of getting a summoning contract." The Snake Sage then said, "if you have a summoning contract you can summon that animal into battle to fight for you, they can also use reverse summons to bring you to this cave and when you get stronger I guess you could be taught Senjutsu." Naruto then said, "may I have a contract for the snakes of the cave, please great sage." The Snake sage then told Naruto "well you could, however, if you want to win the loyalty of your summons you must treat them with respect." Naruto then nodded and she took out a large scroll, she then told Naruto "you must put a small amount of blood on the designated area to complete it." Naruto then made a small cut in his finger and put the blood on the contract. Naruto then asked her "so can you take me back to my village." She then said "yes very well." after she said that she used a reverse summons to return him home.
Land of Sound, Orochimaru
Kabuto had come to report to Orochimaru, Orochimaru was sitting on his throne with Kimimaro and Guren at his sides. Kabuto reported, "Lord Orochimaru, Naruto's training has been going well so far, however, we have a problem, Jiraiya has come to train Naruto." Orochimaru did not like this news, Jiraiya would be a problem in his plans, he then ordered "this will provide complications, the times' table must be moved up, Kabuto I have been hearing something from Ryuchi caves, can you confirm these rumors." Kabuto then smiled and said, "yes these are true, if what Naruto said are to be believed he met the White Snake Sage and she gave him a summoning contract." Orochimaru was interested in this fact, he said "that old snake took a liking to him, she always seemed hostile to me, I am interested to see what he has gained from this time." Kimimaro had been listening to this whole time, for the entire time he had been preparing for when his cousin would join him, he thought 'Naruto, you have interested lord Orochimaru I can't wait to train you and I will care for you unlike how I was by my clan.' Guren then spoke up saying "I don't see what is so great about this kid Kabuto, do we even know if he will even side with Lord Orochimaru, he has spent his entire life in that accursed village why would he abandon it for us." Kabuto then explained to her "he will join us for a couple of reasons, one he has been mistreated by his village, two he has been mentored by me and has become extremely skilled, and third he has shown deep desire to find his clan, he would take any reason to find one." Guren then backed off the questioning, this was pleasing for the snake Sannin, he thought of the experiments he could run and what he could learn from this child.
Konoha two days until the chunin exams
Naruto had been training with Jiraiya and Kabuto for the entire time before the exams. In the last few days however he was told to relax, to let himself rest. Due to being unable to train Naruto decided to check up on Sasuke. He went over to the team seven training field. When he got there he saw Kakashi training with Sasuke and Sakura. Naruto then said, "Hi Sasuke, hi Sakura." Sasuke then looked up and said, "what are you doing here Naruto." Naruto then said, "well Kabuto-sensei said to take a break for these last few days, what has Kakashi has been doing?" Sasuke then told Naruto "Kakashi has been having me learn this Jutsu Chidori, and how to put lightning chakra into weapons." Naruto then responded, "well that is pretty cool, Kabuto has had me learning Chakra scalpel and I learned how to summon snakes, just not very good at it." Sasuke was surprised by it and asked Naruto "you can summon snakes, Can you show me this?" Naruto then nodded and then demonstrated summoning a small snake that then scurried away. Sasuke was surprised by this asking Naruto "can you summon other animals?" Naruto then told Sasuke "well not exactly, I can only summon snakes you need a summoning contract to a particular animal to summon it and they don't exactly have to obey you when you summon it." Sasuke then nodded thinking 'I have to find a summoning contract stronger than Naruto's' the two of them they would continue to talk for much of the afternoon
Sound village, Kin and Dosu
Kin and Dosu were being led outside of the hideout to the exit the land of sound, they were being led by a disguised Kimimaro. Kimimaro stopped then before they truly left. Kimimaro said to the two of them "do you remember what our mission is." Dosu then said, "we are to support the invasion of Konohagakure and to maintain a certain watch on the Kaguya in Konoha." Kin then said, "why does Lord Orochimaru have such a big interest in that Kaguya brat." Kimimaro then said, "Lord Orochimaru is interested in his Kekkei Genkai and his talent." Dosu then said, "hey he is a Kaguya like you Master Kimimaro, do you have an interest in him as well." Kimimaro then looked at them and said "yes you could say that, I guess this might be because of lineage or just I lost purpose, but I am very intrigued to see what he has become in that village. The three of them then left for Konoha, to accomplish their mission.
Kirigakure, Land of Water
The fifth Mizukage left the village with Ao's team, Mei, the fifth Mizukage said "Well, it is time to see what has happened to the Leaf, Ao is it true that there is a Kaguya in the leaf village." Ao then responded, "yes, he is quite strong his name is Naruto and he is quite the sight, he is nothing like the rest of his clan he is not bloodthirsty or as power-hungry as them, he though does have that Kekkei Genkai of their clan." Mei was intrigued by this and said "hmm I am interested in this boy, I would like to meet him, now we must be on our way." after that Mei and Ao's team made the journey by boat that was needed to reach Konohagakure.
