Hey guys! Sorry for the wait. I've been very busy lately. We have hit chapter 10 now. It won't be very interesting as it's mostly dialogue. I apologize for the shortness but I've had a bit of writer's block again. :( But basically these next chapters will be the Lion King 2 from Azra's perspective. Have a nice day! :)

Azra woke up the next morning and got herself and Tanner ready for an appointment with Rafiki. Azra drove to Rafiki's clinic and walked to the children's section of the building. Rafiki greeted them at the door. "Good morning, Azra. You're here for the little guy, right?" He asked. Azra nodded. Rafiki led them into a room and got started.

After Rafiki finished with the checkup, he turned to Azra. "I can tell there is a lot on your mind, dear. Why don't we go outside and talk? I can get a nurse to watch Tanner." Rafiki suggested. Azra agreed. They sat down in some chairs on the front deck while a nurse kept an eye on Tanner.

"Now, tell me dear. What's troubling you?" Rafiki asked Azra. "I don't know Rafiki. It's about Kovu. I don't know whether or not to trust him. You do know he's here, right?" Azra said. "Yes. I was just praying the other day and then later great kings spoke to me. It was about Kovu." Rafiki told her. "What did they say?" Azra asked. She didn't really believe in that spiritual, circle of life stuff but it was worth a shot.

"They want Kovu and Kiara to get together." Rafiki said with a broad smile. Azra gasped. "What?! How will that work? First of all, Kiara is a princess and Kovu is probably a trained assassin! And they're like second cousins!" Azra shouted. "Not technically. Kovu isn't Scar's son. And opposites do attract. Have you noticed anything between them lately?" Rafiki reasoned. "I did see Kiara flirting with Kovu last night but that was it." Azra recalled.

"Kovu may or may not be trustworthy but I have faith in the kings' judgment. Has he done anything to raise suspicion?" Rafiki asked. "No but he seemed rushed when I talked to him, almost like he was hiding something. When we were driving to the palace, I noticed him on the phone with someone. Which is very odd." Azra said and tried to remember anything else Kovu may have done. "That is odd. Ah, who can tell. He could have been talking to anyone and he may be telling the truth about leaving the Outlanders." Rafiki said with a shrug.

"I just wish I had answers." Azra said, frustrated. "Just have faith dear. Even Simba has a little trust in the boy. That says something." Rafiki chuckled. "I know. I can't believe Simba actually let him stay." Azra said and shook her head. "Simba means well. His past has a great impact on him. That's why he can be overbearing at times. Believe me, he wasn't always like this. He used to be the most carefree person there was." Rafiki said.

Later

Azra, Tojo, and Samara sat at a table in Azra's kitchen eating dinner. Azra had made some pasta for dinner. "I saw Kovu and Kiara at the mall today." Samara said. "Really? What were they doing?" Azra asked. "I think he was teaching Kiara how to drive. It looked like she needed it." Samara replied.

Tojo shook his head. "The kid's a punk. I don't like him." He said sharply. Azra laughed. "Have you met him yet?" She asked. "No but you can tell by looking at him. He rolled up to the palace yesterday in his black Mustang, thinking he was big and bad. He was so disrespectful. I thought Simba was gonna flip out." Tojo said with a chuckle.

"I feel bad for the guy. Do you know that Zira beat us?" Samara asked Azra. "No but it's not surprising." Azra said in disgust. This set Zira apart from Scar. Scar would never hit his kids because of the trauma he endured as a child. Sure he would yell but he never got physical. Zira didn't care. She was ruthless.

"Kovu wasn't raised any better. I hope Simba is understanding of that." Samara said with a sigh. Azra nodded. They continued to eat in silence and enjoy the evening.
