It's just…...it's been hard, you know? I try updating my stories, but I kinda left this story under the boat, which isn't fair since I actually love this story. But now I'm back, and somewhat worse than ever!...wait.

Nightshroud96: Because not only would that be hard to split, but it's because Hydranoid has already reached his fullest potential, and giving him the Attribute Energy wouldn't do much for him. Not that I don't like him, but I'd rather showcase the next generation.
To recap the last chapter: The tag battle between Sona and Baron against Vali and Lync continued, with both sides giving it their all. Despite working well together, Baron and Sona were overpowered by Albion's hidden ability: Juggernaut Drive. With this new boost in power, Vali and Lync were able to demolish the Battle Brawlers, stealing both their Attribute Energies. Natsu and the others then arrived to see their allies wounded and the area destroyed.
How will our Heroes react to this sudden turn of events? Let's find out…

Natsu throws in Leonidas with a smile as the red dragon appeared on the field in a torrent of flames.

Both he and Damus activate their Gauntlets before throwing in their Bakugan.

Tsubaki, Mira, Kallen, Vali, Volt, Lync and Alister throw in their Bakugan. A large shadows crashes on the field. Ventus Altair flies in the sky while Vladitor slashes his axe.

Maxus Leonidas and Helios crash into each other. The Vexos appear from the left while the Spectres appear from the right, then Spectra and Gus appear in the middle.

Six swords fall from the heavens, each representing an Attribute.

Six warriors appeared in front of everyone, extending a hand. Albion flews high in the air while spreading his wings, Wilda crashes through a wall, a massive mechanical Bakugan roars in the sky, the Spectres ship fires on Crocus and a portal pulls Natsu and Damus inside.
(You gotta fight for what's right,)
Natsu and Leonidas scream as Dragon Bond is formed.
(Before it's gone, gone, gone!)
Leonidas fires a Lightning Flame Dragon Roar while Cybertros uses Rygon cannon. Both attacks collide, causing a massive explosion.

'The Calamity'
One of the Teleportation Pads located in the Calamity began to glow a bright light. A squad of Spectres marched in front of the Teleportation Pads, ready to fire on any potential intruders. They, however, lowered their weapons at the sight of Vali and Lync, the latter of the two stretching his arms. "Good, we're back. Man, your guys' teleport pads really make the trip uncomfortable." Lync said to the silver haired male. Vali simply ignored him as he walked up to the guards.
"Vali sir, we're happy you returned in one piece." One of the guards said, getting a nod from Vali.
"Are Damus and the others in the bridge?" Vali asked.
"Yes sir, as well as the other Spectres. They've been waiting for your arrival." Another guard said.
"Good. Thank you." Vali said before he began to walk to the bridge, with Lync behind him. "If you have something to say, then say it."
"Why didn't you take those loser's Bakugan when you had the chance?" Lync asked with a raised brow. "I mean sure we beat them, but they would've given us an edge against the Brawlers."
"To leave an example." Vali said like it was the simplest thing.
"Example?" Lync asked, even more confused. Vali stopped in his tracks, looking at the shorter of the Vexos with his arms crossed.
"Damus was able to end his Brawl against Dragneel in a draw, which gave the Brawlers a sense of hope. By not only defeating two of their members and taking their Attribute Energies, but also leaving their Bakugan will show them that we are not to be underestimated. Also…." A tiny smirk crept on Vali's face. "I have a feeling this Baron has potential, and this defeat will only push him."
"So let me get this straight: You beat them, let them keep their Bakugan…...because you want a better challenge?" Lync asked before shaking his head. "Man, you and Volt are so alike. It's honestly creepy."
"Perhaps. But at least we have the Haos and Aquos energies." Vali began to walk forward once again. "Let's hope the Battle Brawlers understand the gravity of this situation."
'Fairy Tail Guildhall'
Normally, the Fairy Tail Guild would have some kind of commission, or overall good atmosphere. However…...today wasn't that kind of day. Instead the makeshift infirmary were Baron Leltoy, Sona Sitri and Romeo Conbolt, each lying on three beds while Wendy Marvell and Porlyusica tend to their wounds. "These three are lucky the wounds weren't too severe, otherwise they might have been bedridden for weeks." Porlyusica said, rubbing a green liquid on Baron's arm, causing him to shiver a bit.
"Do you think they'll wake up today?" Wendy asked Porlyusica as she pulled her arms away from Romeo. Carla, who had stood next to her, handed her a small towel, which the Sky Dragon Slayer took while wiping away her sweat.
"It's possible, but they need their rest." Porlyusica said before shaking her head. "I swear Makarov, first your children, now these newcomers. This is why I hate interacting with humans."
"Thank you Porlyusica." Makarov said sincerely with a sigh of relief.
"Next time, make sure these brats know how to be careful. Otherwise, I might not be around next time." Porlyusica said with a scoff, getting a small chuckle from the Guildmaster.
"You should take a break Wendy. You've done all you can." Makarov said kindly.
"Are you sure Master? I can still heal them longer." Wendy offered.
"I think the Master's right. You shouldn't push yourself." Carla said in a soft tone. She knew how much Wendy wanted to contribute, whether it was on the battlefield or even healing her comrades, mostly due to her young age. But still, she shouldn't overexert herself. As much as Wendy wanted to fight back, she knew how that her Master and friend were right.
"Okay, I'll tell everyone." Wendy said with a sigh. Carrying Cara in her arms, Wendy exited the infirmary, allowing Makarov to sigh while Porlyusica watched the blue haired female walk away.
'I can see why Grandine loved her so much. Hopefully she can mature mentally before anything can happen to her.' Porlyusica thought before returning to her duties.
'With the others'
It had been a tense moment, if anyone was being honest. Those that were in the Guildhall prior to the Brawl were now awaiting the condition of their friends. However, the ones who were most concerned were the Battle Brawlers. Ace was seated at the bar, tapping on the table with a frustrated expression. Kallen was currently leaning against the wall, arms crossed as she tapped her foot impatiently. Alice, Lisanna and Mirajane was busy cleaning the dirty plates and cups, though they had a sad frown on their faces. Tsubaki, Lucy and Mira were seated at one of the few tables in the Guildhall, with Macao and Wakaba sitting at another one. Finally, there was Natsu, who passed around the Guildhall with a frustrated look on his face. It had been a whole hour since the Brawlers found their friends unconscious and it was rather tense.
The door to the infirmary then opened up, causing everyone to stand up. They all saw Wendy and Carla exiting it, frowns on their faces. "So?" Mira couldn't help but ask. Wendy looked at everyone before smiling a bit.
"They'll be okay. Porlyusica says they should be up by tomorrow." Wendy said, causing everyone to release a sigh of relief.
"Thanks Wendy." Natsu said to his fellow Dragon Slayer with a smile. She returned his smile while taking a seat with Tsubaki.
"I just can't believe Sona, Baron and Romeo were just…...beaten up like that." Lucy said sadly with her hands cupped together.
"Why didn't they tell us they were Brawling?" Kallen asked with narrowed eyes. "They should know that fighting the Vexos and their allies alone is crazy, even if there was two of them."
"I know, but maybe they have a good reason." Tsubaki said in a hopeful tone before she looked down at her table. "How are you feeling Nemus, Tyna?"
"To be completely honest….I feel disappointed." Nemus said sadly, with Tyna nodding in agreement. "The Six Ancient Guardian Bakugan trusted us with the Attribute Energy, and we lost two of them in one Brawl."
"Not to mention because we couldn't defeat our opponents, Sona, Baron and Romeo are now bedridden." Tyna added with a frustrated tone.
"Don't blame yourself, Tyna. Any of us could've lost." Leonidas said with a comforting tone.
"He's right. We've lost Brawls before. It doesn't mean you're weak, it means you have room to grow." Percival added with a small nod.
"It's my fault. I should've known something was wrong the moment Sona left us." Erza said with a clenched fist. "Someone, please hit me." While it wasn't weird for the members of Fairy Tail to hear Erza say such a thing…...it sadly didn't apply to the other Brawlers.
"Did she just….ask us to hit her?" Mira asked while blinking a bit.
"Yeah, that's just how Erza is sometimes." Mirajane said with a sweet smile.
"That's true. If she feels like she made a mistake, she asks someone to hit her." Lisanna said with a small giggle.
"We need to think of something to do." Natsu suddenly spoke up with a serious tone. "Now that we lost both Haos and Aquos, we need to be more careful with protecting the other Attribute Energies."
"Wow, who knew you would be the one says we should be careful." Happy said while landing on Natsu's head. "Your time on Earth really made you weird and serious. I miss the old Natsu."
"Huh? I'm still the same Natsu." Natsu said while crossing his arms, looking up at his little buddy. "Just for that, no fish tonight!" Happy gasped in pure horror.
"No fish?! I was right: you're meaner than before!" Happy exclaimed while holding his cheeks together. Natsu simply rolled his eyes, though the little banter between the two did get a few smiles from everyone. At least there was some light in this event. The infirmary door opened once again, only this time, it was Makarov and Porlyusica exiting it.
"Sona wants to speak to you six." Makarov said, referring to the six Battle Brawlers. They all looked at one another before walking to the Infirmary, with their Bakugan partners on their shoulders. As the door closed behind them, a tired sigh escaped Makarov's mouth. "I need a drink."
"Here you go Master." Being the kind soul she was, Mirajane fired a mug with her Guildmaster's favorite ale, placing it on the bar table. Makarov wordlessly walked up to the bar before jumping onto the table, drinking her alcohol.
"If we're done here, I'm going home." Porlyusica said before walking out of the Guildhall, not giving anyone a second look.
"Master, what shall we do? This is the second time one of our own was attacked by these Spectres." Erza asked with her own serious tone.
"She's right. I'm not letting them get away with hurting my son." Macao said with an edge in his voice.
"I know you're ready to fight, but don't push yourself old man." Wakaba joked slightly, though anyone could see how serious he was about fighting as well.
"For now, we'll wait and see how those three feel. But…" After taking another drink from his mug, Makarov sighed and looked at his children. "We won't be looking for these Spectres."
"What?" Were their collective answers.
"Master, are you sure this is the right way to do it? I don't like fighting, but even this shouldn't be ignored." Lucy said with a frown.
"How would we even know where they are? From what Mira and the others told us, they have a kind of airship in the sky." Carla spoke up from Wendy's lap.
"It's true. The only way we know where they are is if they want us to find them." Wendy said with a sad tone. "Everything's changing so fast."
"Very well Master, we will respect your wish." Erza said with a respectful bow.
Though deep down, she wished she could do something.
'With the Battle Brawlers'
"Mmmmmmm…" A groan escaped Baron's lips as he began to regain consciousness. His body felt like he was hit by a heatwave, and he could've sworn that he had a few bruises on his back. Slowly, he began to open his eyes, and the first thing he saw was Nemus looking at him from the nightstand. "N…...Nemus…?"
"Baron, I'm so glad you're awake." Nemus said with a relieved sigh.
"Whe….where am I? And….why does it feel…...like I got a bad sunburn?" Baron asked groggily.
"Hey there." Hearing an all too familiar voice, Baron snapped his head forward and saw the other Battle Brawlers, smiling at him.
"Sleep good?" Ace joked slightly.
"Guys? What happened…..SONA! ROMEO!" Suddenly remembering the two that were with him prior to his unconsciousness, Baron shot up, only to groan in pain.
"Hey, don't push yourself." Alice said in a motherly tone while pushing him back down to the bed. "Porlyusica and Wendy worked hard to heal your wounds, and they said you'd be able to move tomorrow."
"Do you remember anything about the Brawl, like who you were fighting?" Kallen asked with her arms crossed.
"I think…...I was brawling against Lync…..and this guy called Vali….." Baron slowly clenched his hand. "He was so strong…...even with Sona…."
"We know it was hard, and we're sorry we couldn't be there for you." Gurin said as he lowered his head in shame.
"If we/were there/we could have won." Hydranoid added. He may have been absent from the Brawling circuit for a while, he could still do some damage.
"Nemus, what else can you tell us about your Brawl?" Ingram asked her Haos friend.
"Not only was Vali skilled in a Brawl…..but his partner Albion…." Filled with so much shame, Nemus reverted back to ball form, much to the concern of the others.
"Albion was far more powerful than any of the Bakugan we've faced." Tyna said in Nemus' place. "His abilities drained half of our power, and Lync even used a new mechanical Bakugan: Aluze." As the memory of the Brawl entered Tyna's mind, her Brawler slowly began to wake up as well.
"T…..Tyna?" Sona muttered, her violet eyes twitching a bit. Once she was fully conscious, she realized where she was. "The…..Guildhall?"
"Hey….." Natsu grabbed a hold of her hand, his thumb gently stroking it. "How are you feeling?"
"Sore….but otherwise, fine." Despite the pain she was in, Sona still mustered a smile as she gently grabbed Natsu's hand. "Baron, and Romeo?"
"Right here." Turning her head, Sona found her fellow Brawler, lying in bed with a weak smile on his face. "Surprise~~~~"
"I know you both did your best in the Brawl. None of us blame you for what happened." Mira said as she placed a hand on Baron's arm. "The important thing is that both you and your Bakugan are okay." As soon as she said this, Baron lost his smile as he looked over to Romeo. The young fire mage had yet to wake up, though judging by the way his chest rose, he was doing fine.
"It's my fault….." Baron confessed while swallowing hard. "I wanted to Brawl…...I didn't even think about calling you guys."
'Look, it happened, okay? There's nothing we can do now." Ace said, trying to soothe his friend the only way he knew how.
"I wanted…...to prove to you guys I was strong…...that I can beat the Vexos and Spectres alone." Tears slowly began to well in Baron's eyes before he covered them with his arm, allowing them to run down his cheeks freely. "Now Sona and Romeo are hurt…..and we lost two of the Energies. I'm weak." Baron simply allowed himself to cry out of anger, sadness and regret. The other Brawlers, as well as the Bakugan simply allowed the purple haired male to cry away all his frustration.
"Baron, none of us thought you were weak." Tsubaki said with a motherly tone.
"She's right. When you and I battled against Volt, you were amazing." Alice added as she stood next to him, rubbing his shoulder softly.
"Yeah. You and Sona are strong. It isn't like we haven't lost before." Natsu admitted, even though it was rather hard for him to admit it. His battles with Gus, Spectra and Dan were proof that he wasn't the best. "Watch, you can use this loss to make you stronger."
"Natsu's right. The best teacher is defeat." Leonidas said wisely. "I know it feels like all is lost, but you have so much to gain from this. No one made a mistake in trusting you with the Attribute Energies."
"B-But…" Baron suddenly felt a hand grab his arm before pulling it away from his face, allowing his eyes to see all of the encouraging looks the Brawlers were giving him. How could they just forgive him for such a screw up? Anyone else would've called him weak and kicked him out without a second thought…..
But he guessed that was what made the Battle Brawlers different.
They weren't just a team…..they were family.
"Guys…." Baron felt more tears fill his eyes before he wiped them away, a newfound determined look replacing his past expression. "Okay, I promise I'll get stronger. Just you wait!"
"Good, but you might wanna keep it down. Someone's still asleep." Kallen said while pointing at Romeo, who shifted in his sleep. Baron quickly slapped his mouth in fear that his friend would wake up, though it didn't seem like Romeo noticed. Everyone looked at one another before laughing lightly.
At least the gloomy tone of the room was over…..for now anyway.
'The Calamity meeting hall'
"So, the two of you left the ship, without informing anyone, hunted down two of the Battle Brawlers, and took the Haos and Aquos Attribute Energies?" Damus summarized, seated at the end of the large table in the meeting hall with his hands folded together. Currently, the other Spectres, as well as the Vexos were all gathered to hear Vali and Lync's report.
"You sound disappointed. Do you really feel betrayed?" Vali asked his old friend with a raised brow. Damus actually chuckled a bit at his claim.
"Not at all. I know it feels annoying to have to stay on a ship for a long time." Damus said with a simple shrug.
"So when can the rest of us go down and take the other Attributes? I'm getting bored just sitting up here." Grant spoke up.
"He's right. We shouldn't just wait here while the Brawlers get stronger." Mylene said with a serious tone.
"I understand your need to hunt down the Brawlers, but think about the information we're gathering about the world below us." Alister said, simply reading a holographic report. "The energy being emitted is interesting. We may be able to absorb some of it for research purposes, maybe even for an alternate fuel source."
"That might actually work for us. King Zenoheld's been trying to find a new fuel source." Volt added with a small nod.
"Who cares about fuel and science? I wanna go down there and beat those brats!" Shadow Prov whined impatiently.
"If you need a warm up, I can give you a ride~~" Roxie said with a small wink directed at the Darkus Brawler.
"It was an okay Brawl anyway." Lync said with a shrug. "Still, I think we should try to get the other Attribute Energies while the iron's hot."
"Enough, all of you." Damus said with a sigh. "While I am happy we were able to get two of the Attribute Energies, let's not forget that now the Battle Brawlers will be more cautious than before. If we are to get the other four, then we need to scout their routine, find any sort of weakness. This 'Fairy Tail' is already one option, but they may change it soon."
"You would like us to watch them from a distance?" Talia asked with a raised brow. "If so, I would be more than willing to be the first to watch."
"King Zenoheld won't be happy if we stall our mission." Mylene said with a warning glare. "Don't tell me this is about Dragneel."
"Not just him. The other Brawlers intrigue me to…...a point." Damus said while leaning back, his legs crossed. "While we were able to win the latest battle, the other Brawlers may have some secrets hidden in their sleeves."
"But with the Cyber Bakugan we have, we could use that in our next Brawlers, just to see the abilities of their Bakugan." Vali suggested, getting a nod from Damus.
"Then we're in agreement. In the morning, I will reveal who will be partnered with who. Make sure your Bakugan are prepared and you have the necessary equipment. That will be all." With that, the two groups slowly began to exit the room, some grumbling in disappointment while others just minded their own business. Damus pushed himself up, only to raise a brow at the second patron of the room. "Can I help you Mylene?"
"Just because you're in charge of this ship doesn't mean we always have to follow your orders." Mylene said with a venomous glare. "Zenoheld may trust you, but I don't. Why hunt for these 'Swords'? Do they have a hidden power you haven't told us about?"
"You would like to know, wouldn't you?" Damus said with an amused tone. "Maybe we can talk about it…...over dinner. It can be just the two of us." From the tone he had used, it was perfectly clear that he wanted some alone time with the Aquos Brawler…...and she didn't like it one bit.
"Thank you, but I have better things to do than listen to your flirting." Mylene said with a scoff as she began to walk out of the room.
"You should consider leaving the Vexos. From what I've seen, Zenoheld is putting all his hope in the Bakugan Termination System. What if he fails?" Damus said, his tone serious. "With the Spectres, you have the opportunity to see what the Universe holds."
"And is that the reason you decided to make an alliance with King Zenoheld? To sway each of us into leaving his side?" Mylene said before chuckling. "You really are an idiot, even more than Spectra."
"The same Spectra who defeated Natsu Dragneel and began to rip the Brawlers apart? The same Spectra all of you left for dead?" Damus said with a chilling calm tone. "I may not understand the circumstances as clearly as you do, but I know that leaving a comrade only proves your cowardice." He then stood up and walked up to Mylene, a dark glare on his face. "Don't. Ever. Call. Me. A. Fool." The aqua eyed female had only rarely felt any kind of fear in her life, but the man in front of her actually made her shiver inward. If she could look closely, she could a somewhat dark aura appear in his red eyes.
However, she was a prideful woman, and she wasn't going to admit she was scared.
In retaliation, she glared back at him with as much anger.
"I don't care what you say. King Zenoheld is a great leader, and we WILL get the four Attribute Energies before you find your swords. That much I can promise." With that, Mylene stormed out of the room, unable to look at the smug look on Damus' face.
'Spectra was right. She has a very stubborn attitude.' Damus thought with a chuckle. 'Still, her resolve is impressive. Okay Mylene, we'll play your little wager. But no not matter how fast we find the Attribute Energies, the Swords will hold much more power.' All Damus did was leave the room with his hands in his pockets.
He was going to have some interesting encounters with the other Vexos soon enough.
'Fairy Tail Guildhall, sometime later'
"Thank you all for coming back. I know you want to go back to doing jobs for the Guild, but…..this needed to be heard by everyone." Makarov said with a serious tone as he sat on the bar table. After some tense hours, the rest of the Fairy Tail guild had returned from doing their various jobs. Some were concerned with the condition of the trio while the rest were wondering when they would strike. "As you all know, earlier today, Sona Sitri, Baron Leltoy and Romeo Conbolt were found with burns on their bodies and several bruises. From what Natsu had told me, they were involved in a Bakugan Brawl."
"Where are the bastards who hurt them? I'm ready to give them a manly beating!" Elfman shouted while clenching his fist.
"He's right. We can't just ignore this Gramps." Gray added with his arms crossed…...over his bare chest.
"Do we know where to find them?" Levy asked Gajeel, who shook his head.
"No. Wherever these Spectres are, we can't reach 'em." Gajeel said before throwing a nut(hehehehe) in his mouth, munching on the metal piece.
"Yes, but the fact we don't know where they are has me concerned." Pantherlily said as he drank some of his kiwi juice. "They've already attacked you, Jet and Droy, which means they may possibly know where the Guild is located."
"I know all of you want to find them. We do as well." Mira called out, her hands gesturing down to calm the Guild. "But it isn't as easy as you think. The Spectres and Vexos could be circling the planet through a ship, or they could be using their teleportation technology to come and go as they please."
"But if they know where the Guildhall is, what's stopping them from attacking right now?" Happy said with a concerned tone.
"Because Sona made a few upgrades to her Gauntlet." Kallen said, showing them the Aquos Brawler's Gauntlet. "She said that when one of the Vexos or Spectres were anywhere on the planet, her Gauntlet was able to trace where they are. If they think they can sneak attack us, they're wrong."
"Still, I don't feel safe leaving the Guildhall vulnerable to an attack, which is why…...I will be closing the Guild." Makarov said with a serious tone, much to the shock of every Fairy Tail member.
"WHAT?!" Before anyone could voice out their complaints, Makarov raised his hand.
"Before you brats yell, there's a reason for this." Makarov said while rubbing his forehead. "Because the Grand Magic Games is just three months away, I feel like we should use this time to train. Not only will closing the Guild keep these Vexos away, but it will also give those who have been trapped in the Fairy Sphere time to regain their lost strength. Think of it like a small vacation, and when we win the Grand Magic Games….." The short Guildmaster stood up, throwing up the Fairy Tail Hand Sign high in the air. "WE WILL SHOW EVERYONE THAT FAIRY TAIL IS NOT TO BE UNDERESTIMATED, AND THAT WE ARE NUMBER ONE!"
"YEAH!" Feeling inspired by their Master's words, the rest of the Fairy Tail wizards raised their hands high in the air. Even Laxus couldn't help but smile a little as he threw up his own hand.
"Wow, Master Makarov loves to inspire the others. He really is a leader." Wilda said from Mira's shoulder, impressed with the old man's words.
"I know. When I first came to Fairy Tail, the first thing Master did was scold everyone for destroying property." Lucy said with a nervous chuckle.
"And that's good?" Ace asked with a raised brow.
"Well after he did that, he told everyone that they shouldn't let the Magic Council tell them what to do, and that their magic should be used to their heart's content." A soft smile appeared on Lucy's face as she recalled her first day in Fairy Tail. They were crazy and it got worse as time went by…...but she didn't mind at all. They were her family, and she wouldn't change them for the world.
"That sounds amazing. Fairy Tail truly is how Natsu described it." Guren said with a respectful tone.
"If they were with us when we were in New Vestroia, then the Vexos would've lost much sooner." Ingram said.
"I respect their bravery." Vladitor said with a calm tone.
"Now that Master Makarov said that the Guild should split up, should we do the same?" Alice asked the others, drinking her cup of tea.
"It might be best if we stay together. Otherwise, what happened to Baron and Sona will happen again, and we can't afford to lose. At least this way, no one else will be hurt because of us." Mira said, her hands folded together. She looked around and noticed the absence of a certain pinkette. "Is Natsu…."
"He's still with Romeo and the others. I think he feels guilty about not being there for them." Tsubaki said with a sad tone.
"Natsu cares deeply for his friends." Lisanna said while walking up to the group, a sympathetic smile on her face. "He's always so caring, that's why I like him."
It was true to all of them: he would do anything to protect his friends…..and that was something they could all admire.
'Fairy Tail Infirmary'
Now we shift our perspective to Natsu Dragneel, who was currently sitting next to Romeo Conbolt, a frustrated look on his face. "Dammit…..dammit….come on…...I know I can do this."
"Partner, if you need help…."
"No, I got it."
"But-"
"I….almost….never mind." Natsu let out a sigh as he placed the Rubik's Cube in his hand next to Romeo's bed. "How do people get this?"
"Natsu?" Said person turned their head, only to see the amused expressions of Sona and Baron. "We could help you. I've played with that cube before." Sona said with a chuckle.
"Nah, I think I can still do it. But it's….it's just so hard." Natsu picked up the cube and showed them one side that was almost fully red. "How can you get all the sides right? People make it look so easy."
"I know how you feel, Master Natsu." Baron said with his own smile. "One day you'll get it."
"Mmmmmm…" A moan could be heard behind Natsu, causing him to turn around. Romeo began to rub his face, his consciousness slowly reappearing. "Natsu…..is that you?" Opening his eyes, Romeo saw his idol looking at him with a soft smile.
"Hey pal, glad to see you're awake." Natsu said softly. "You feeling okay?"
"Y-yeah…...just a little sore…...what happened?" Romeo asked before he noticed the other two in the room. "Baron? Sona?"
"Hey/Hi." Both Baron and Sona said in unison.
"I'm sorry you got hurt Romeo." Baron said with a sad tone.
"I thought….you guys were awesome." Romeo said with a weak smile. "Nemus….and Tyna…..they were so cool, and the Brawl…...it felt like watching Natsu and the others fight. I wish…...I can the other Brawls."
"You will." Natsu placed a hand on Romeo's head. "And this time, we'll beat them all. I mean, we are Fairy Tail, right?" Hearing this, Romeo returned Natsu's smile.
"Yeah." Reaching out, Romeo grabbed Natsu's hand, squeezing it slightly.
'I'll make sure that Romeo and the others are safe. Even if I have to die protecting them.'
'4 months later'
Magnolia cemetery was known for holding the bodies of the deceased. Many of Magnolia's citizens visit this place to talk to their loved ones, telling them how they are and wishing they were here.
But of all those who have visited…..Natsu Dragneel was the one who didn't want to be there. Dressed in a simple black suit and tie, Natsu looked at the grave in front of him, an unreadable expression on his face. If anyone looked closely, they could see traces of tears run down his cheeks.
"Hey." Natsu didn't even bother turning around as Dan Kuso walked up to him, wearing his own black suit with his hands in his pockets. "Sorry I couldn't come sooner. Drago and Shun are talking to the others about what to do next."
"..."
"How long…..have you been here?"
"..." Dan frowned deeply at the lack of a response Natsu was giving him. "Look man, I know how you-"
"It's my fault they're gone." Natsu finally said in a sad tone. "I…...I should've kept going. Me and Leo…...we were strong, and Dragon Bond made us stronger. But even if we pushed ourselves…...it isn't enough."
"Come on, don't say that." Dan said while putting a hand on Natsu's shoulder. "Trust me, I know how it feels when something bad happens, but it doesn't mean you stop trying to fight. Plus, you've got everyone else backing you up."
"No…..no, that isn't enough." Natsu said while shrugging off Dan's hand. "I need to do something I never thought I'd do. If I keep…...letting them walk away, they'll just come back to hurt those I care about."
"What are you saying?" For some reason, Dan had a bad feeling about this.
"I'm going to do it." Slowly, Natsu raised his head, a dark look on his face. The moment he opened his mouth, he said something that no one would expect him to say.
"I'm going to kill Damus."

(Mira appears on the left as her brother appeared on the right, smirking. She is then seen driving her motorcycle in Vestal.)

(Mira looks out the window of Natsu's home before looking at him as he puts on his scarf, walking away from her..)

(The scene changes to her enjoying a cup of tea with the other female Brawlers, along with the females of team Natsu as Gray and Gajeel fight in the background.)

(Natsu was flying over an ocean, with Happy carrying him. One his left were Wendy and Carla while Gajeel and Lily were on his right. Two light orbs were thrown at Natsu before they exploded, though when the smoke settled, Leonidas appears, flying forward with a determined face.)

(Wilda is on one knee, clapping his hands together as they created a large shockwave.)

(Hydranoid appears in the middle, letting out a massive roar. Percival and Vladitor appear as well, with Percival holding his sword and shield on the left while Vladitor had his axe on the right.)

(Nemus summons a light shield to block several red lasers as Ingram appears under him, putting her hands together to perform a wind attack.)

(Tyna appears, pointing her right hand at the left while holding her staff on the right.)

(Gurin lets out a roar as flames surrounded his body. Leonidas then appears in his Maxus Form, looking away from the camera.)

(Mira smiles at a group photo of all the Brawlers and their Bakugan before walking away.)
Yup…..I ended the chapter with a dark tone. For a long time, I thought of having this scene since I do plan on killing off one major character. I won't say who, although I will leave a few hints for you guys to see.
So yeah, this chapter is rather lackluster in terms of action, but I did want to set up the next chapter since not only will we go to a beach chapter, but also set up the training montage. I will make sure they are as enjoyable as you guys want, and the interactions between the Brawlers and the wizards of Earthland will be worth it.
So…...still ignoring Bakugan Battle Planet since it still looks bad. I mean seriously, we don't need a damn reboot for every show.
