Exile
I am pleased with how the fanfiction and thought about giving Ran a means of protecting herself and being a counterpart of Naruto and how interesting it would be to give her various control of elements. Open to ideas as always.
Third POV
The following school day all of the students filed in with the exception of one, the red-haired girl whose name means, Orchid. This had been on Iruka's mind 'I hope's ok I should have known better than to treat her like I did' he thought. The Hokage announced Ran's disappearance to the entire academy "as you are all aware someone altered my orders for one of your own and she is gone" Lord Third began. Some of the students didn't make a sound, although Hibachi was looking around with his eyes 'why would he care no one wanted her here and she should have been chased away from the Leaf' he thought.
Lord Third went on that he would find out who altered his orders and hold them responsible if Ran was found dead or alive. As soon as Lord Third left and everyone was sent home for the day many of the students including Ino recalled how she would not speak during class and would stay in the last row in an attempt to avoid being seen. 'I wonder where she is' Ino thought as she went home. "I heard Lord Hokage sent a message to the other lands about her whereabouts she was barley walking in a straight line from what the guard had said".
Chōji and Shikamaru joined her "I'm thinking about her and knowing how she was feeling. When I managed to get a good look at her under her hood, she looked like she had not been outside in a long time. Dad said she didn't look so good like she was about to pass out from running away from that mob" Ino said. "Yeah, I know" Chōji replied "I heard my mom crying knowing how thin she looked, wishing she had just given her something to eat when she spotted her running away from the ally with little food she managed to scavenge" Chōji added. Shikamaru learned while listening to his father speak that she was to be moved where she would be watched knowing the state of her health was depleting. "Dad said something about her powers awakening and how dangerous it could have been he had to keep her restrained. I think she wanted to be left alone" he added. The three agreed.
A Jōnin, Kakashi was on the search "Ran" many of them called but it was too late she was gone and so far, he thought 'Minato I failed you and she was all that was left, I know you and Kushina wanted her.' So many were looking for her but many considered how far she could have gotten.
Lord Hokage 'after the fox attacked and was sealed away Ran paid the price and now, we might have lost her forever' he thought. 'I pray she is alive'.
The trio of friends heard Hibachi talking "well good riddance she needed to go and besides it isn't our fault if no one wanted her" he said. "You mean you" "Yeah that's right dad left it in sight and besides I didn't want to look at her ugly face, who named her that name" Hibachi bragged. The three of them heard enough.
Iruka's POV
Classes were dismissed for the week knowing that a student was gone and I wondering how far she managed to get and it looked like she was about to die. Whoever altered the orders is going to face manslaughter is she was found dead. "Ran I didn't understand you" he said as he read her journal and how she had heard everyone wanting her to go away and never return.
A knock on the door came, it was another Chūnin "they found out who made the false orders Iruka and you need to see who it is". I ran out to follow to find out. "HIBACHI" his father growled "No one cares dad" the student said. Of course, the Hokage looked less amused. "Hibachi because of your actions I have no choice but to expel you from the academy. My decision is final" Lord Hokage declared. Hibachi looked defeated and his parents looked at him with disgust and his friends were also suspended until further notice.
Third
Where Ran is
Ran never looked back and so far, she managed to find edible food and eat whatever she could find despite the changing weather. "Maybe I deserved to be banished" she said to herself. 'Maybe you did' a voice said in her head. 'Who are you' she asked and the next thing she knew she was in front of a cage facing a huge and menacing figure, the Nine Tailed Fox.
Ran's POV
'The nine tailed fox I thought it was dead' I thought facing the monster. "Please my name is Kurama kit" he replied. "I thought Lord Forth Hokage killed you" I replied in shock. "No, he sealed me inside of you" he said. "What are you trying to say" I asked I shock. "You ever ask why they starve you, hurt you, shun you" Kurama asked. "They think we are the same and they know you are capable of controlling nature if you wish" Kurama added. I tried to speak but all that came out was "so the Forth Hokage did this to me". "Kit it is for the best you never return" the fox added. I had to agree "I'm never going back" I replied.
As I kept going, I could feel weather changing and I don't know how long it has been since I was ordered to leave for reasons, I don't know of let alone care. Soon snow was falling and soon the amount was so great I could not walk anymore and passed out. I felt myself getting colder and colder 'If this is dying it doesn't feel so bad. If you are in the afterlife, I'm coming to join you' I thought as I felt my body get heavier and a cold blanket was covering me.
Third POV
Ran had collapsed outside the Village Hidden in the Mountains and a Jōnin of the village found Ran. "Hey kid, kid" he said trying to wake her. "Oh, my Gods you're freezing" he said and ran back to the hospital. The doctors got to her right away seeing the condition she was in. The Jōnin who found her was Haruo Fuyu, his wife Kumi joined him and when she saw the little one. "Poor thing who did this to her" she asked. "There's something else too the girl is a Jinchūriki of the Nine Tails, Miki sensed the Fox and we might have an idea where she came from.
Word spread to the Yamanokage or Mountain shadow. "I see a new person to be apart of the village" he replied as he stood up to see the little one. People of his village are rather tall, the tallest was close to eight feet tall. His Shinobi entered and informed him his eldest son brought the youngling in and how she had to be on life support because she looked so awful and was hours from death. 'Little one you are welcome here' the Kage thought.
