Lost Revelations

I know I have not been updating for a while but I am trying to get ideas for my other fanfics despite the two years in grad school. Also keep in mind I am open to ideas for please feel free to send them over, I will look at them and come up with how to have those ideas work.

Third POV

Ran was not looking forward to going to the Mountain Ninja Academy considering her history and previous records from the Hidden Leaf she had skipped over thirty days of school and according to her she has a good reason, "what was the point they didn't want me there and there was nothing for me anyway" she told her grandfather and headmistress, Azusa Hariken. Fortunately for Ran her gave her the help and support she needed to ensure she was not far behind on her studies, of course Azusa had a feeling the Leaf teachers failed her on purpose because of her status as the nine tailed fox's jailor also known as Jinchūriki. Ran was going to need special training to control the fox's power.

Once Iruka handed everything over for Ran's new school he felt out of it considering how Ran didn't see him leave he had heard she didn't want to see any of them again. Although he did sign up to be part of the Hokage's entourage if they ever to return to the Mountain Village for relations 'if I cannot talk to her maybe I might see her even if she hates me' he thought.

Iruka's POV

I knew Ran wasn't coming back, I still blame myself if I had realized she didn't throw that eraser at me and when I read her journal, I was seeing everything she was going through, why she would not bother going to school she felt like there was no point and on the anniversary the fox attacked the village, the day of her birth I read "what's the point it could be my last one. I am told they are waiting and I am aware of what that means".

I had clarity of how she was feeling, feeling unwanted and from what I had heard she did not believe Lord Third Hokage about her parents and her aunts and uncles wanted me and the rest of the Leaf to go and if Ran hates me and the Leaf for what they did and didn't do to her and for her I understand.

Third POV

Lord Hokage looked at pictures of Minato and Kushina "Ran they wanted you to be here and were looking forward to you coming into this world. I understand you hate me, your former teachers and the Leaf Village and your parents" he murmured as he wrote the letter to her, even if she didn't want to read it. He remembered that look in her eyes knowing she had a family and her father was the Forth Hokage and her mother was the previous Jinchūriki. He began his letter:

Hello Ran Uzumaki,

By the time you get this letter I understand you are far from forgiveness towards me and the Leaf for the abuse you suffered and I would like you to know I regret not doing enough for you and when my orders to move you were changed as a cruel prank to get rid of you, I punished the one responsible. I know you do not want to see me let alone hear me again. I know you think and already believe your mother and father didn't want you, left you alone in this world. Minato and Kushina died protecting you when the fox escaped and they loved you even if you do not feel the same way towards them. Somehow it was leaked about you being the fox's jailor and I was unable to prove who leaked it.

I tried to help you but I know you feel I made you think you were not wanted in the Leaf and felt everyone hated you here. I want you to know there were people who knew your parents cared about you and wanted to help you. I am aware you would never believe that, I know you did not want to go to the Ninja Academy, because you did not see any point. I understand why you would skip school because you felt unwanted there and there was nothing for you there. When I got the letter from your grandfather about you being found and alive, I knew you did not want to see me again.

I am sorry for everything and if you burn this letter, I will not hold it against you and I am hoping we will cross paths again and I am happy for you, finding a family who you feel treat you far better.

Lord Hokage.

As soon as he was done writing he sent the letter although he had a feeling Ran wasn't likely going to want to read it.
