Written for the DS9 Tumblr Zine prompt "Fix it." The way "The Begotten" was handled (and the whole Odo/Mora relationship, for that matter) has never set particularly well with me, and this fic explores that in a different way.

Like the visions, this story is not supposed to make any sense or have an ending. It's a very short one and will perhaps be continued. Please tell me if it is confusing enough so far... You may also see it as part of my Star Trek-series including the other stories 'Shadows of War - Awoken' and 'Responsibility', which are 'real' fanfictions.
