Anon asked: What would you say is the best scene that shows Azula's love for Zuko? And I'm not including the bedroom scene since I feel that was more lust than love.
(That scene is the definition of lust XD)
I feel like the best scene to show that, is their little talk on "The Headband"
Azula went against her best interest for Zuko twice in the show. The first time was in "Crossroads Of Destiny" when she was honest with him and brought him home, despite the Dai Li being loyal solely to her, meaning she could simply stab him in the back. But she did gain something by having him join her - it prevented the Gaang from getting a new ally, it emotionally destabilized Iroh, and it meant she had yet another strong bender on her side - and she did throw him under the bus when she found out about the Avatar being alive (which only happened after she had already brought Zuko home, so that wasn't premeditated), but it still means that Azula essentially gave Zuko the crown.
On "The Headband" however, she gained literally nothing. She had only been suspicious that Zuko was seeing Iroh and essentially made him accidentally confess by acting like she already knew… and then gave him actual good advice. No blackmail, no subtle threats, no backstabing, no personal gain.
She could have secretly followed him, or interrogated the guards, but she choose to go straight to him and warn him to be careful instead of letting him get caught and be accused of secretly ploting with Iroh, which could have ended up with Zuko being severely punished or even losing his title of prince yet again. Azula handld him the crown, the thing she wanted the most and that many people, including Ozai, would have prefered her to have it. Again. But this time, she did it without getting anything for herself.
She did solely because she loved her brother.
