Chapter 5: Before depart.

AN: Well first what I want to say is English is not my native language and this is my first fanfiction and I made it out of boredom.

Jaune continues to train with Qrow. As Qrow teach Jaune about martial art, weapon, aura, and dust.

2 weeks later.

*BOOM* *CRACK* *BOOM*

Many loud sounds like bombs and lighting strikes could be heard from the forest. The sound is loud even people in the village could hear it clear.

At the inn inside the village.

"They spar with each other again?" A villager asking his friend he has been drinking with. "Yeah, they are sure to do it again." The blacksmith said and then sigh. "But we can't blame them. The young hunter needed the training to become a huntsman."

The villager smiling. "Yeah, Jaune and Qrow really save us from those bandits and Grimm that try to come around this time. The boy even helping us around and is not a huntsman relate work too! He can help us cut trees for wood to build our new home and wall or looking out for our young when we don't have the time he is really a lifesaver and I meant it literally."

"But what really bad about him is that one time when the boy took out his shirt after training." The villager sighed. "I mean really! That kid is a chick magnet even before he does that! And he doesn't know it! After he doing that every girl in the village tries to be around him when he is free." The villager said with an angry voice.

*THUMP* The blacksmith hit his glass on the table "I know how you feel! I must always be alert whenever that kid comes into my shop! My eldest daughter always watching him like a rarest gem that she finally found in her mines! Even my middle girl starting look longing to him!"

"Yeah! I know how you feel!" "Me too!" "I do too!" The sound in the bar keeping up the volume whenever the young hunter topic came up.

"Every girl in our village has their eyes on him aren't we." The villager said and chuckled.

Every man and a teenage boy in the bar nod.

Some teen standing up from his chair and spoke with a bit of slur

"That kid is either very cunning to play with girl heart or just a very stupid dense mother fuc-."

His group of friends hurry get up and cover his mouth with their hand. And say sorry to others in the bar.

"Well can't blame him he looks really hot." One guy in the bar said.

"Why do huntsman always have a good look?" the teenager said.

"It is aura bullshit that what I heard from them." One old man said.

"Yeah, the aura is just bullshit." The bartender said.

In the forest.

*PANT* *PANT* Jaune stands and is panting. He looked like he just got out from wrestling with an Ursa.

"Are you surrender yet Qrow?" Jaune said.

Qrow just stares deadpan at Jaune. Qrow looked like a man just escape from a house on fire with how black his entire from is right now and have a little burn on his face.

Qrow cough. And black smoke come out from his mouth "Jaune When I told you to give it all with our last fight.", "It doesn't include a firebomb in the forest that you lure me into it! And with all that ambush from other trap that you give me! Fight me fair and square damn it! You are a huntsman, not an assassin or some crazy trapper!" Qrow said with ireful.

"But you said it. I must give my all because it is my final test from you! You said that I am ready to be huntsman if I can beat you!" Jaune said back.

"I say if you can turn my aura to the yellow zone you pass my test as a huntsman in training and can look out for yourself!" Qrow shouted back.

"So? Did I pass?" Jaune says with a curious voice.

"Oh! you pass for sure if it's an explosive contest. I am sure that very few people can use a bomb as lethal as you do with it!" Qrow said with disdain in his voice. "But I will give you that from the fight you give at our last five minutes fight that I gave you." Qrow point at Jaune

"You mean when you just beating me up for use those bombs at you right?" Jaune said unsure.

"Of course, it is! It the only because your bomb trap run out that I can finally catch up with you and fight you fairly! But you can keep up with me that alone got my approval kid."

Qrow sheathing his sword on his back. Jaune then sheathing his sword and spear in his hand too.

"Your dual sword and spear really come far from two weeks ago when I start to train some martial art into you. Your hand combat skill and aura enhance are enough to tear Grimm's head off.

You can shoot and run with high accuracy now. What I am really proud of is your aura control and skills really fascinating you can cloak your aura with your body now and with high potential. A shot from my weapon doesn't even make you flinch."

Qrow smile at Jaune and Jaune smile back at Qrow.

"You make me proud kid. If I don't know you and someone told me that you just unlock your aura just two weeks ago. I will not believe him!" Jaune's face is a little pink. Shy from his master praise.

"BUT!" Qrow said loudly to Jaune.

"Why Jaune. Where did I go wrong in teaching you about dust? Why is always a bomb!" Qrow throws his hand up in the air looking at Jaune.

"Why can't you just make a wall of ice or lunch a fireball as other good dust users do! Why is always a bomb came up on my face! Or when I step on them or the time when you throw them at me!"

"But fireball is just a bomb that lunching at you." Jaune one finger came up.

"I don't care! I just don't want you to see dust as just a bomb for you!"

"I believe in my explosive can beat your skill," Jaune said with a smug face.

"You can't beat me with just your bomb Jaune," Qrow said deadpan at Jaune.

"Yes! I can, I just need enough bombs to do it happen." Jaune talks back.

"Never if I can deal with it!"

"Stop baby cry about my bomb Qrow you just can't beat it," Jaune said with a singsong voice.

"Let see when a bomb blowing up on your face. can you beat it?"

"My aura can take it."

"No! you can't and you will die! you idiot!" Qrow shouts back.

There is silence for a second.

"So, did I pass?" Jaune said.

Qrow sigh and looking at Jaune.

"Yes, you do," Qrow said with tried voice.

"Yahoo! I pass! I am ready to be a huntsman! hahaha," Jaune said with a cheerful voice and jumping around.

"Urgh this," Qrow said look at Jaune and then smile fondly at him.

"Never change Jaune never change."

"You said something?" Jaune stops jumping and looking at Qrow.

"I said you should stop using the bomb because it hurt like hell! My entire body is hurt right now." Qrow said while pointing at his body.

"Then let me heal you," Jaune said to get closer to Qrow.

"What." Qrow stun.

Jaune put his hand on Qrow shoulder. Qrow body began to glow with red light.

"I feel good?" Qrow then pulls out his scroll to check his aura. It showing that his aura came up from yellow to full green now.

"What how when?" Qrow said to Jaune. Jaune just smiles.

"I don't just play around with aura after our training end every day you know? I always train my aura control. And there is one time that I saw an aura technique from the aura skill book that you give me that we can use our aura to heal others so I just train it first because I want to help others." Jaune smiled at him.

"No way kid that aura healing technique is a high skill huntsman even then it took too much aura to heal other wounds even with your aura reserve and don't even mention to get my aura in the green level. That technique is just to heal the wound! I think this is your semblance doing Jaune." Qrow said with a happy voice.

"You have a healing semblance! Wow, I just hit jackpot!" Qrow now jumps and is happy.

"My what?" Jaune just looking questioning at Qrow.

"Your semblance! Jaune your semblance!" Qrow talks to Jaune with a happy voice.

"What is semblance?"

Qrow looks disbelieving at Jaune. The look he gives is that 'How is this kid is my student?' look. And facepalm.

"Yeah, it never came up because your semblance never showed up when we training. So, I will just teach you about it now. Semblance is developed from a person's Aura and typically helps in the battle against Grimm. Semblances are different between people and can range from super-strength, manipulating objects to disorienting opponents."

"So, all the huntsman has a superpower over a superpower?" Jaune asking Qrow.

"Well yes but not everyone always found their semblance. Some very lucky old huntsman can't even find their semblance till their last breath." "And that it, semblance is just that."

"So, I can heal? And boost aura?" Jaune question while looking at his hand.

"My theory is that you just boost my aura up so my aura will have a very high potent to the point that its healing ability got very high and heal me faster," Qrow said while thinking.

"My healing is just a side effect? Then my semblance is just boosting aura up?"

"Hmm, still too little information. Let try to use your semblance on you kid."

Jaune nod and then close his eyes. Jaune's body glows a second later shrouded by a white light.

Jaune opens his eyes. His eyes also glowing with white light.

"Hmm, your aura is up to green from red now," Qrow said looking at the scroll in his hand.

"I feel better… and I feel stronger too." Jaune smile. Jaune punch at a tree nearby. *THWACK* a chunk of tree exploding from it. "wow." Jaune said with awe.

"So, basically kid your semblance is Aura amp. It allows you to amplify your own Aura or that of others. Hmm, a nice semblance if I really say myself." Qrow smile.

'Aura amp huh.' Jaune though. Looking at his hand again close his palm and open it. The light glowing up and down. 'But I think it more than that.' Jaune smile.

"So, what is your semblance name is?" Qrow asks Jaune.

"What? I must name my semblance?"

"Yeah, just asking. If you don't have it, it's ok."

Jaune is thinking for a second.

"Infinite," Jaune said.

"In- what," Qrow said looking at Jaune.

"I said its name is Infinite. Because it potential. And what I can be." Jaune said.

"Yeah, all the kids like you always have infinite potential kid always remember that." Qrow smiles and rubs his head.

"Now let get back to the village."

While the two are walking back to the village.

'Wait, If the Jaune semblance is boosted up my aura and it potent does that mean it also boosts up my semblance!'

Then suddenly there is something fallen on Jaune's head. *THUMP*

"Ow! My head! And what is this?" Jaune said looking at the thing that falls on the ground.

It's a bird.

"This is falcon it's a bird," Qrow said.

"You know about the bird?" Jaune said looking at Qrow.

"It's my hobby," Qrow said.

Jaune picks the falcon up. Its feathers have beige color and a strange pale green gem on the head. And blood flows out from the body part.

"It wounded. Don't worry little guys let me fix you up." Jaune said and put his hand on the falcon's head.

Jaune's hand glows white light. Now the falcon began to glow pale green color. And in the second it eyes open. Falcon flies out from Jaune's hand high into the sky and then comes down to Jaune in just two seconds. Its eyes shine now with white light. And land to his shoulder to snuggle up to him.

Qrow whistle. "Look like you just got yourself a familiar, Jaune you really lucky. It is not often that we huntsman got a familiar because not an animal with aura unlock will accept you. It will only accept you after the animal sees and feel your aura up close. And if it is not like you then you fail and never have another chance to bond with it. But now your soul is bonding together it will be your buddy until the day you die Jaune."

Jaune just looks at the now cute falcon that snuggles to him.

"I will name you Vento." The falcon just made a cute sound at him.

"Now that Vento and you have a bond you will understand each other as you can talk to another," Qrow said.

"I am really glad now that we have another friend in our little group, Qrow." Jaune smile.

"Yeah… about our group… kid. I must tell you something." Qrow's smile dies down.

"What is it Qrow?"

"I must leave tomorrow. I just got a new mission. That is why I want to test you today. To see if you are ready without me out here yet."

Jaune now looks sad but then shakes his head.

"It's ok, Qrow I know that you can't always have time to train me because you are a seasonal huntsman you have your duty Qrow. But I am really glad to have you as my teacher and train me to be a huntsman." Jaune said and smile at Qrow.

And then pull Qrow into a hug.

Qrow just froze up.

"Thanks, you Qrow to give me a chance. Thanks to you that I have a chance to become a huntsman. Qrow." Jaune's voice shakes a little. There is a tear in his eyes.

Qrow hugs him back.

"Don't say it as we will never meet again kid. You will meet me again when the Vytal festival comes. I will see you. I promise." Qrow said with a gentle voice.

Then after Jaune and Qrow hug each other for a little while. They separate and continue their walking to the village. With their new little companion fly around with them.

'Wait, Jaune will go to join beacon and Yang will join beacon it means!' Qrow gasp and look at Jaune with fearful eyes.

'You little brat. You think you are smart. Do you think that I will just let you go and fuck my niece like that? Not a chance buckaroo. I will warn Yang about some blonde boy might be trouble in her life!'
