HAHAHAHA GUESS WHOSE BACK SUCKERS!?!? I'M STILL ALIVE!!!! BETCHA DIDN'T THINK YOU'D HEAR FROM ME, HUH!?!?

Well that's my fault of course. You plan a story and all the ideas with it but the writing of course...oof. And other bull crap that happens. I also forgot how annoying it is to update chapters on . UGH. Anyway, let's just get right to it.

Days before Runa Alcomba

Practice today was pretty good for the most part. The Taitans baseball team practiced for about two hours or so. Even being their star player; Yamcha wanted to practice with his team to help moderate his strength so he doesn't overdo it. There's been enough times he pitched too hard or hit a ball with too much force that the baseball, the bat, or the PLAYER broke. Then his coach and teammates would get aggravated, on one on a team wants that. So, he practices.

After practice let out early for the day and he said his goodbyes to the team, he headed home to run a few errands. He showered, got changed in purple t-shirt and jeans with white and purple sneakers. He grabbed a few tote bags he had around the apartment and headed out the door. Puar was was already out visiting Oolong for the afternoon so he didn't have worry about her.

He first stopped by a candy store to get an assortment of small candies, next he went the toy store to get specific toys sets and lastly, he dropped by a clothing store and picked out sets of kids clothes and shoes. After all that shopping he was ready to go to his final destination. To save time, he flew to his destination carefully so he wouldn't rattle his things. He flew for about an half and hour until he hovered over a beige colored building. It was a bit old looking and a few needed touch ups.

He lightly landed at their front door and rang the bell. He could hear foots steps coming to the door to greet him. As he expected, the Little Sprouts Orphanage main caretaker, Penny, opened the door with a warm smile on her face. She came up to his shoulders in height with fair skin with freckles decorating her face. Her light brown hair was pulled up into a messy bun and she wearing her work apron. " Well hello Yamcha! It's so good to see you again!" Penny said excitedly, emphasizing Yamcha's name loud enough to get the kids, attention which it worked. Only a minute later, patted little feet came running down the hall towards the two adults, followed with screams of " Mr. Yamcha! Mr. Yamcha!" " Yay!". The owner of these voices were five kids standing in front of them, tackling him in a hug. Five year old twin boy and girl , seven year old girl with a ponytail with flower clip, an eight year old boy with a green T-Rex t-shirt, and a ten year old girl in jean overalls. " Hey there kiddos!" he said cheerfully with a huge grin on his face. The twins jumped up and down on their toes in front of Yamcha's legs, wanting him to pick them up which he happily did after he put his stuff down. " Hey Kevin! Keeko! How are you little squirts doing today?" " Good!" " Really good!" " Super good!" "Really really really-" " Ok! Ok!" He chuckled at their over excitement "really really good, and that in its self is good. Crystal, how are you, sweetie?". The girl with the flower clip blushed while dreamily smiling, " I'm doing fantastic, Mr. Yamcha. I made a new dress for my dolly" she lifted it so he could see. I looked like a typical plastic doll with red hair. Her "clothes" mostly consisted of patches of different colored cloth glued together with pink ribbon around the waist. " And, and, I got a new hair clip! Do you like it?" She asked as she twirled her gold locks " Yes I do. It's makes you look extra pretty today" he responded as she giggled.

" Eric, how about you buddy? Catch any bad guys lately?". The boy with T-Rex shirt crossed his arms and closed his eyes in mild frustration " Nope it's been too quiet around here. For now any way" " What he means by " too quiet" is referring to Gary the raccoon hasn't been around lately" said the girl, Gina, in the jean overalls who carried a book her arms. " Same thing! He steals our trash and looks like a bad guy! Makes a mess every where he goes" " That's ok bud. Sometimes it's better have quiet when it comes. Trust someone who knows. Gina, I'm sure you're doing well too? Finished reading your book again?" She sighed " Yeah I ain't able to get the new book yet" " Sorry Gina, until the auto repairman comes Tuesday to fix the van we can't go anywhere" said Penny sadly.

" Yeah I know. Just wish I had more stuff to read" that's when Yamcha got a mischievous look on his face. " Well..." he turned around to dig into one of his bags, " that's kind of a good thing because then I wouldn't be able to give you this" Gina gasped. " The next book of the Twisted Luck Mysteries series! Oh wow!" She grabbed it and hugged it close to her. She then hugged Yamcha as tight as she could around his neck, " Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" " Heh I knew I'd win some points for that, you are very welcome" he hugged her back.

" And of course I have stuff for all of the rest of you too! If you've been good for miss Penny" a chorus of " Yay" 's And " Yes" 's came from the group. Yamcha looked at Penny to make sure and she nodded with a smile. " Alrighty then! Some monster toys for Kevin" " Yeah!" " Toy cars for Keeko with ramps" " Hehe!" " A dollie fashion maker set with twenty-five different fabrics" " I love it!" " A new policeman hat and accessories kit for Eric. Gotta look the part after all" " Awesome!" " And some more books for Gina" " Thank you!". They all went in for a group hug while thanking him over and over again. Yamcha smirked, " So how long are you going to stand over there, Taiko?" Unbeknownst to everyone except Penny, an older boy leaned on a wall a few feet away from the group. He wore a long sleeved white shirt underneath a plain black T-shirt with jeans and sneakers. His arms were crossed and wore a slight frown on his face.

" Hmph" he said " Can I at least get a greeting of some sort?" Yamcha joked. Taiko was the oldest of the group and acted like a older brother to other kids. Unfortunately, he's a bit stand-offish at most times and doesn't like to express himself, "too cool" or something.

Taiko answered curtly, " Hi". " Tai's just being emo again" Crystal added " Yep" Eric agreed. " Am not" "Are too!" " Well you won't be so grumpy when you see what I got ya" Yamcha added. " I don't want it" "Hmm...you sure? Because it's signed and everything..." that perked the twelve year old up a little. " Signed what...?" " Oh nothing just...a signed authentic baseball jersey from Rikki Johnson". Taiko's eyes practically popped right out of his skull. He loved base ball and dreamed of being a player one day( and secretly really liked Yamcha because he was one but had too much pride to admit it to him). His favorite was Rikki Johnson, the pitcher from the South City Hunters. He got so excited to see him on their single tv screen during games. " W-wha? h-how d-did you g-g-get this!? I-is it r-real!?" " Of course it is! I had pull a few strings with friends in high places, but I managed. I knew you'd like it" he said the biggest smirk on face. He got the exact reaction he wanted. Seeing his smirk, Taiko quickly attempted go back to being aloof as took he the jersey in his hands. " I mean... yeah well they're cool, thanks I guess", the other kids and Penny started to laugh as he blushed deep red in embarrassment. " You're welcome, Champ" Yamcha replied ruffling his hair.

" Alright kids, put how about put your new things away and show Mr. Yamcha that new game you all made up earlier?" Almost immediately they, exception of Taiko, collectively gasped and started talking over each other all at once while dragging Yamcha outside. " I said put yours things away first!" Penny yelled playfully out the back door where they went outside. Taiko just rolled his eyes at his fellow youths antics and helped Penny picked up the things off the floor " Thank you Tai" she smiled warmly at the boy as they took their things to their group room. Meanwhile outside, The kids were getting ready to show the man their game.

"You're going to love it!" " You get be your own character and everything!". Yamcha laughed cheerfully, " Sounds like fun".

*

I miss them Yamcha thought as he was walking down the street of the commerce section of Acrin. There were small businesses throughout the city but this was the main place for shopping of all types. As usual the atmosphere was filled with people busying about going in and out of stores. Idle chatter and clinking sounds of luminous crystals being exchanged filled the streets, along with smells of the tasty foods from food carts. Yamcha wasn't really a " shop to till ya drop" type of person, but he found this sector to be one of his favorites in the city. Maybe it reminded him of the busy streets back home in West city, he wasn't really sure.

Speaking of home, thoughts had once again wandered back of what he left behind back on earth, specifically Penny and the kids. For all the time that he had been here, he had prayed that they were doing all right without him. They're probably worried that I abandoned them. That I just picked up and left and thought they weren't worth my time anymore.

" Never. They mean way too much to me" he said whispered to himself. He wasn't sure how time worked in this dimension, but he would assume that a good amount of time has passed since his "unexpected departure". He doubted those people would've cared if he was gone or ...maybe that was just his bitterness talking, but his orphanage family? He was pretty sure, at least he hoped. Not to mention his baseball team would be wondering what happened to him too. What he really hoped for was for Puar to find the letter he left behind in their apartment. On a billboard close to the front door, was a letter he wrote incase anything ever happened to him. Huge portion of his savings would go to Penny and the kids to keep the orphanage open and for any necessities needed for their care.

It was the least he could do for them and Penny. They were one of the main reasons he was living to be honest. That sounds dramatic but it was true. A few weeks after...after he was officially diagnosed with depression, at a certain point, he saw the "help wanted" sign for their struggling orphanage and something compelled him to help. He had been visiting them ever since. Heck, he was willing to invest in a group home and become a legal guardian to the kids. He discussed it with Puar and she was more than happy to help. Those kids needed a home and he wanted to give it to them more than anything. Probably cause he knew what it was like to be child without a family for long time. Well...a typical one anyway.

With them, at least for a short while he felt like he had a purpose again. Like he was actually doing some good for someone else other than being just a simple baseball player. Even after his... emotional explosion, he would at least have Puar, Penny, and the kids. People who would miss him...but now he's not sure when he'll see them again. It's could be weeks, months, maybe even years until-

Huh? his thoughts were interrupted by a soft noise.

He was surprised he could hear it with all the noise from the citizens. Curiously, he tried to follow the sound's origin. After walking a few paces through the street, he found its source. Sitting in an alleyway her knees scrunched up to her chest, was a little girl who seemed to be five or six. She was crying as he could hear her muffled hiccups and sobs through her knees. He cautiously approached her, trying not to startle her too much, speaking very softly, « Hey there...». She gasped and quickly lifting her head to look up at the him. She started backing up a little in fear of the stranger in front of her with wide sparkly tear stained eyes. « No no it's OK. Hey...I'm not going to hurt you I promise» he slowly went down on one knee with his hands up «I was only wondering why you were crying. Is something wrong? are you lost?».

She seemed to relax a bit, « I – I am lost. I wanted to look at pretty beads at a store and I turned around Nenti was gone! I *sniff* I couldn't f-find her!» « is Nenti your mom?» « N-no Nenti is Nenti!» tears started to well up in her eyes again. « Oh no no please don't cry. Hey how about we find her together huh?» « R-Really?» «Yes no problem at all. You can trust me...ok?». He patiently held out his hand and waited for her to take his. With trembling hands she took his. Now that he seemingly had her trust, in one fell swoop he picked her up and put her on his shoulders, the act startling her a bit. « Don't worry I gotcha! Just hang on to my head. Now that you're up there you can see over the crowds to find her better» « Oh thank you!» she exclaimed hugging his head desperately.

Yamcha chuckled a little as her little hands wrapped around his forehead, « You are very welcome. So do you-» almost in sync, their stomachs grumbled loudly. « WELL THEN, guess we can't go on our search adventure on a empty stomach, can we?» «Search?...adventure?» « Well yeah we can't go looking for Nenti if we don't make some fun out of it. Sometimes when you lose some thing or someone, it can be a bit relaxing to make a game out of it. We can be explorers on a journey looking for the magical guardian Nenti! We'll have to trudge our way through the uh...magical village of fairies to find her!» « Hehe! You're funny mister!» « I aim to please! My name is Yamcha and yours is...» « Tekia» « Well Tekia, Nice to meet you. Now let's go get something to eat before our stomachs eat us!».

The two "explorers "went to a food stand that sold some sort of glazed meat buns, which were very delicious he found out earlier thanks to the warriors introducing him. Once they had that, they started looking. All over shopping center they walked and walked trying to find the woman Tekia described. After while the young girl was started to getting discouraged so Yamcha had to try to keep her calm. Luckily, before he started to worry for her, Tekia spotted her guardian «I see her! I see her!» she squealed excitedly, bouncing on his shoulders. «Ok ok careful I don't want you to fall and yes I see her too!» he laughed. The person of interest was a pretty but frantic young women with teal-colored hair. She kept swinging her head in different directions, along with her shoppings hanging from her arms, clearly looking for something in a panic. He signaled her over by shouting her name and Tekia waved her arms. She instantly ran over to them while Yamcha took the little one off his shoulders. «Tekia!» Nenti dropped her bags and grabbed Tekia in a hug. The little girl returned it with vigor while wailing apologies with tears over and over again. The earthling just watched the reunion with a soft smile.

« It's ok it's ok, vulma. Just don't scare me like that again, I don't know what I do if something thing happened do you». Nenti then turned to him, « Thank you so much! I-I don't know how to repay you!» she cried. The earthling rubbed his neck and had his usual goofy smile when he gets bashful, « Oh no no no it's totally fine! Your thanks is plenty» « Are you sure I mean-» «Really it was no trouble at all».

Vulma: Baby or sweetie

Tekia smiled at him, « He's really nice, Nenti. And funny. He made finding you a really fun game!» she bounced up and down on her toes. « Oh did he now?» «Yeah yeah! It was an exploring game!» « Oh wow! You have to tell me all about it on the way back home» The young girl nodded firmly». Nenti went to pick up her bags, but when she hooked them on her arms she winced a little from the weight. Luckily he noticed this, « Are you alright?» « Oh it must be my arms. I was too busy looking around to realize that I was carrying four heavy bags, especially this Baldagore meat. It's heavy stuff...» « I'm really really sorry» Tekia whined feeling guilty, « It's okay you Teki, really. I'll just need to take a little break before we go home is all».

« Hey uh why don't I take those for you?» « Wait...really?» Surprise eminently on her face, « Yeah sure I don't mind». She looked a bit hesitant. Despite his help with Tekia, She wasn't too keen on leading a complete stranger to her home. Sensing her hesitation he puts her at ease, «I'm not dangerous or anything I swear » «Sorry I just guess that I've always been protective when strangers come around the kids. I'd actually welcome the help...thank you Mr...» « Yamcha» he gave her a kind smile.

He proceed to take her bags in his arms, but as he was about to say " lead the way" he got an idea. « I...have an idea» « Huh? What idea?» « An idea to get you two home but faster. And not the transportation crafts either» she continued to look at him confused. « Don't worry you'll be home in no time»

« This is just...incredible!!! I never thought this was possible without a Havasho!!!» Nenti and Tekia exclaimed in amazement flew through the air with Tekia securely in her arms. Meanwhile Yamcha was carry both them and the bags in his arms. Gingerly flying past some of the tall structures towards the edge of the city. It had been a little while since they were in the air, and Tekia was busy watching the city from above. The two adults talked on the way there. It turns out that Nenti is a guardian for the little one. Tekia and multiple other children where orphans under her and her husbands care.

« Yeah, were I'm from anybody is capable of this, although most people don't know it» « Really? Are you from Benimis or something, cause they're always coming up with new technology»

« Nope» he smirked.

« No? Ok how about Obecoh? A new spell?»

« Nuh uh»

« Well you've implied that you're not from around here and if you're not from either of those two cities where are you from?»

« Well uh...far far far away from here...» she was even more confused. «...How far...?» he hesitated a little in his answer « A uh ...another world far» Nenti was now more shocked than confused. She over heard small rumors about a strange visitor supposedly staying the royal place under his Highakin's own word. But that was all they have been to her; rumors, well that is until-

« Uh Nenti I need to know where to land...» « Oh! Right sorry! Right there at the small building with the tiny play structure» shaken out of her thoughts she pointed to her described home. Yamcha gingerly landed few feet away from her gate entrance.

She looked at him curiously is she concluded her thoughts. « Sorry for springing that on you, I've been residing in the city for a few months now. So far it's going pretty well but I didn't want to make assum-» « So it's true then...?» « Wh-what?» « Sorry for interrupting. Th-the talk around my sector, about a otherworldly visitor staying with the royal family. Most of us in the outer ring only hear of such things and never see them much».

She just silently stared at him with a slight interest. The earthling tensed a little under her stare « Are you...alright with that? I mean I'm not a threat or anything-» « Oh!» she jumped « No no it's alright. I'm fascinated not worried. Although you don't look like an other worlder as the rumors call you. Other than your eye color, you could pass as one of us». « Huh I guess I've never thought much into it» he pondered. Then he remembered he was carrying groceries in both arms.

« Oh hey are these perishable or...?» « Oh yes but no but- nevermind I see what you mean, please join us for dinner!»

« Oh! Well I don't want to impose-» « Oh please my husband would love to have you. He loves to cook for people and the kids would love to meet you , they love visitors. Besides it's the least I can do for taking time out of your day to help Tekia, Please?» « All right if you insist, only if you let me take some of your bags. I'll feel like a loafing homeless man if I don't help somehow». The three proceeded to walk towards the front door of the home. It wasn't glamorous compared to the other houses he'd seen scene on the planet, but it wasn't plain either. It had a nice array of flowers in the front " lawn" with a holographic fence around the whole structure. Like most middle-class houses he seen, it was a two story and was made out of metallic like material colored a very light silver with beige colored rooftop. Nenti proceeded to open the with a hand scanner.

There was no time to look around because they immediately bombarded with little people jumping up in excitement shouting «Nenti! Nenti!». It brought a sense of warmth and sadness over Yamcha as he thought of his kids back home. There was about seven kids in all ranging from different ages. «Nenti what took you so long?! We were getting worried» said a lemon hair colored girl gently took Tekia from her arms. All the other children asked an agreement, «Sorry kids, I turned around for moment and Tekia and I got separated. I was trying to go find her. Luckily this nice gentleman behind me found her first before anything bad happened. In which I'm still extremely grateful for that by the way» she said has she turned to him. «Thank you but it was really no issue».

The children now noticing the stranger Nenti was thanking, crowded around him and started asking questions left and right in a mass of jumbled voices. «Whoa whoa whoa wait a minute, kids» she laughed «Before you start bombarding him , Let's put these groceries away first. We'll have plenty of time to to ask questions at, now go on back the playroom please» a chorus of " Awwwws" came from the group as they trudged.

Once in the kitchen the two adults where met with a man busy with cooking. He was lean and tall with a slight stubble and long kinky curled Sunkist orange hair, pulled into a low ponytail. He turned around quickly to greet them. « Oh there you are, my love. I was starting to worry - oh well hello there!" He said noticed the stranger behind his wife. « Sorry Bowa, there was a

" separation situation" with Teka. Thankfully this nice man stepped in to help us» « Goodness, I hope our Nenny wasn't any trouble» « Nope. No trouble at all really. Tekias' a great kid». «Non sense. Taking time out your daylight hours to assist makes us have the highest gratitude for your kind and compassionate actions » the Yamcha blinked at the man's words. « My husband is can be a bit...literate. Yamcha I'd like to formally introduce you to my husband, Caro. Bowa this is Yamcha, the rumored otherworlder».

Caro blinked and looked at him curiously « Pleasure to make your acquaintance, but you don't look like an otherworlder?» « Heh yeah that's what your wife said. Its probably why no one's really asked me about it» « Well in any case, welcome to our humble home and please join us for our bountiful meal the this fine evening». Yamcha just said 'thank you' akwardly, while Nenti went to set the table. He offered to help cook dinner(despite how limited his Covexian culinary skills were) but Cato dramatically declined. Told him that he was a guest in their home and ( their planet) so he shouldn't lift a finger. Seeing this was the first home he would be having a meal in, they wanted a chance to show their hospitality. « Besides I already have a kitchen helper...who was helping me a few minutes ago but he seemed to have disappeared after I told him to get the Gonda root from the garden. TRIN-!» «HERE!» said a young voice that popped into the kitchen. It was a young boy that looked either eleven or ten years old holding a strange peach colored produce in his arms. Yamcha internally did a double take when looking at the boy first glance. Other than his soft orange red colored hair that fell a bit into his eyes and for the good sized scar by his left eye, he kinda looked like a mini copy of... Not that he had seen many pictures of him when he was younger but there was a resemblance. I don't believe he mentioned ever having kids, besides it could just be a huge coincidence. And yet he still couldn't stop thinking that there might be more to it.

« There you are, Trin! I almost thought you fell into a ground born abyss or something» Caro said chuckling a little. «Sorry Caro. I want to make sure I get the best ones for dinner for the other kids. I had to dig through a lot of them» he said apologetically, Caro couldn't help but smile at the boys usual consideration of others. The young boy now noticed a stranger in their kitchen and looked up at him curiously. « Yamcha this my helper and our oldest treasure, Trin. Trin, this Yamcha, he's the otherworlder everyone talks about, can you believe it?», Trin looked at the older man starstruck. «Really? Calda! Are you staying for dinner?» he asked enthusiastically. The ex- fighter couldn't help but to smile and crouched down a bit to get to his eye level « Why of course, little man. Your guardians were kind enough to let me and now that I've met you and your family I absolutely have to get to know you all» he mused.

Calda: Covexian for cool or awesome and "Celda" is amazing, spectacular, incredible, etc.

The next events happened in a blaze. Caro and Trin finished dinner and Yamcha and Nenti helped the kids get ready( Despite the couples friendly protests) and they all sat at circular dinner table. Dinner consisted of a type of stew that reminded Yamcha of beef a stew back home. With an array of vegetables, Baldagore meat, and little things called flavor crystals. Sided with a number of pink squishy dough balls with seasoning that looked like dumplings, exception of the crunchy AND soft texture inside when you bite into it. Yamcha would have learn how to make these.

He and the family talked for seemingly hours, about anything and everything. All the children were entranced by some of stories he told of what it was like to live in the royal palace, how he used to be a warrior, including the adults. « The creature tall, scaly, and ugly. And what's worse? He had so much power that he could've destroy the whole world if wanted too. We weren't sure of how we were going to beat him-» he would go on. Tekia wanted to sit as close to him as she could, and she bragged about how she got to fly without a havasho. The other kids didn't believe her at first until Nenti confirmed it was true, so then they all got cutely jealous, including Caro. Meanwhile Trin made sure she and the other kids got enough to eat. The young boy had already told him that they were "scar friends", which is what Nenti quietly told the ex-fighter that they told Trin to consider anyone with a scar his matching friend, in which Yamcha felt honored. In a way he reminded him of Takeo for his protectiveness, except Trin is a lot more friendly. He internally chuckeld a bit that thought.

Caro asked children to introduce themselves and say an interesting fact about them. The second oldest ( being nine) and the lemon hair colored girl was named Maywa, she loved art sculpture making. A sweet eight-year-old boy with mint green hair is called Ginta and loved flowers and wanted to have a big garden of own when he's older. A fiery seven year old boy with lapis colored hair was called Warvis, he wanted to be a Sholticon Warrior one day and take one bad guys. Next was a six year old girl with rose colored hair called Tatesia said liked "sparkly things", Yamcha could guess that of all the sparkly clips in her hair. Another bright-eyed six year old who was boy, with jam colored hair loved to read about adventures. As for Tekia she likes pretty clothes and Trin wants to be chef with his own restaurant. All wonderful kids with happy aspirations, even the ones that aren't quite developed yet. They all just reminded him of home ...more than ever.

For dessert they had a sweet creamy pudding with chucks of fruit and lavender colored powder sprinkled on top called "Dulo". They talked some more, they laughed, and goofed around. For his first experience in a citizen household, he was glad it was this one. It was a nice feeling, seeing this family so happy with each other even though they're not blood related. Unfortunately, realizing it was getting rather late, Yamcha had to reluctantly head back to the palace. Everyone was standing outside their home to say goodbye to their new friend, exception of Tekia who fell asleep shortly after dinner.

« Please please do come and visit sometime. We would love to have you again, wouldn't we kids?» Nenti asked, in response the children started cheering and talking all at once as they jumped up and down in the front of the Yamcha. He laughed with a huge smile « Yes! Yes! Of course I'll come back to visit. Thank you again for your hospitality, and it was an absolute pleasure to meet you all» They performed goodbye hand gestures and he patted all the kids heads. He then slowly took to the sky waving down to them headed towards the direction of the palace.

He landed in front of the palace gate and discreetly greeted the guards posted there and proceeded down the path to the main door. The night time lights were lit all around the gardens that surrounded the palace. The small floating orbs illuminated the lawn and all the intricate plants in many colors. He walked up the stairs to the huge double doors in the palace and into the courtyard. It was completely dark inside, save for the tiny lights glowing in the hallways. Other than guards on their night shift, everyone was probably asleep by now, so quickly and quietly made his way to his room. Walking down the halls passing the windows, he turned for a moment and walked back wards looking from where he came, thinking about todays events. His mind was evidently too distracted to realize he was about to bump into someone, who apparently also wasn't paying attention. When his back collided with the stranger, both were startled and jumped into a fighting stance.

He had ki blast ready while other drew his celestial weapon, it being a...red scythe...!? Wait, "What the-X'herin?!» « Yamcha?!» They whisper yelled, both well visibly relaxing. X'herin was wearing sleep ware with silky robe on « Dende! You scared me!» « That is something we can agree on, my friend. Glad you are all right we were starting to get a bit concerned when you missed dinner» «Sorry, I had dinner elsewhere. Wait! What is the king of Covexis doing up this late?» «Oh well I get restless sometimes so I go into the kitchen and get myself Dav milk. It's good for sleep. Besides I don't want to bother the servants with a little thing like that». Yamcha chuckeld a bit « Considerate as always » X'herin waved him off. « Anyway, I had dinner with this very nice family on the very edge of the city. One of their young children got lost and I just so happen to find her, then later her guardian. I helped them back home and they were so grateful that they invited me» «Well look at you, Mr. Hero. That's is very kind of you. Big family?» «It was no big deal really and yes you could say that. Two adults and about seven children, but all adopted as far as I know. Their youngest is who I found » «Hmm...very nice» X'herin eyes slowly turned out the window, a slight wistful expression on his face. «Uh...X'herin are you alright...?» «Huh oh yes. Yes of course» he said hastily, «Anyways we should probably get to bed, I've got business openings and economy meetings in the morning. Well Goodnight» he flashed a quick smile and went around him down the hall toward his room. Yamcha wished a good night too and made his way down to his room. As he did couldn't help but notice that his friend's gaze looked a bit...sad.

X'herin speed walked down the hall to his room, his sleep robe swaying behind him. When he got to his room doors, he leaned on them after closing them behind him. His eyes were closed as his thoughts ran through his mind. He hesitantly walked across his room to his nightstand to place his water on top. He then opened the drawer underneath and pulled out a beautiful metal box with intricate patterns craved into it. He traced his fingers over them for a moment. With his finger he unlocked it with a scan and opened to the contents.

There was a few things inside but a small device on top is what is he was looking for. A small silver circular device with a button on the front. He pressed it and 2D holographic image popped up the in front of him, the white light illuminating his saddened expression: a slightly younger and laughing X'herin stood next a pretty young lady just as equally laughing. In between them - both holding him with one arm each- was a little boy smiling with a big toothy grin.

I know. I'm a big slow loser. Sorry if this feels like a filler but it does serve a purpose honest. Next update should come a lot sooner. And I mean sooner than like two years.
