I opened one eye when the pounding on my window became too annoying to ignore. The pounding grew harder.

"You're going to break it." I grumbled as I stood up, marching towards it and opening it roughly, Dan's face appearing. "I'm not home."

"Very funny." He rolled his eyes. "It's freezing out here."

"Wear a jacket then." I glared. He looked at me, confused, then looked me up from head to toe.

"God, you're not even dressed."

"I am." I gestured to my clothes. "I am dressed for bed because it is two thirty in the morning.

He stared, mocking. "You forgot?"

"Yeah." I lied. "Are they in the car?"

"No." He shook his head. "They're at there. They're waiting for you."

*.*.*.*.*

My eyes opened as I jumped, an anchor of feeling weighing heavily on my chest. I remembered something. I remembered. The recognition was almost painful. Dan came to pick me up, to take me to a waiting Arana and Angel.

That's how I got there that night.

I wasn't scared of the memory. The fact that it existed was what scared me. The fact that I was starting to remember.

I stretched my body lightly, craning my neck as an attempt to get rid of the slight cramp. It was then I realized I was on a car. Juvia's car.

"You were dreaming?" Juvia asked me.

"Yeah, it seemed pretty long too," I muttered.

"You were out for only ten minutes."

Ten minutes? That short?

I bit my lip as my entire body flooded with adrenaline. The dream -the memory – replayed itself in my mind like a loop, a lot more than I'd liked to.

Juvia signaled to turn.

"Does Lucy-san happen to be nervous?"

"What's there to be nervous about?" I asked, sounding off.

"You… weren't as social with Natsu-san and Gray-sama today."

Oh.

"N-No. They're very nice. I just, am weird about new people. Give it a few days."

"Okay then." Juvia nodded. "Aquarius reminded me that you had a therapy session tomorrow?"

Damn Aquarius.

"She told me to pick you up and drop you off to make sure you actually go."

Damn you, Aquarius.

Juvia sensed my tension and awkwardness. "Lucy-san… I don't think going to therapy is bad. Dr. Iila is really good, and she can really help."

"How do you know she's good?"

"Because I go to her." She shrugged. My head whipped so fast that even I shocked myself.

"You?"

"Yes. Juvia has bipolar disorder. She is prescribed medicine and is required to go to therapy." She smiled, unafraid.

"It's amazing how you can say that out loud."

"Juvia is not ashamed of it. Juvia tells people all the time. Juvia thinks it's better people know about it, so that they are aware that a normal person can be… different." She parked in front of a building.

Well, I'm not different. I'm okay, I don't need therapy, I don't need medicine because I am okay.

"We're here. This is Fairy Tail." We both stepped out of the car. Juvia was walking in front of me, leading me towards the entrance. The lump in my throat started to rise as my shoulders slumped.

Someone laughed behind me.

I turned, out of curiosity, not that I cared. But when I did, I froze in my tracks.

Dan.

Dan wearing the baseball cap that he never took up, smirking at me.

I blinked again. He was gone.

I'm okay.

I followed Juvia inside Fairy Tail, pretending I didn't see anything. Because I didn't see anything. I thought I did, and it was most probably just a random guy who had the same hair passing by.

There was no one there because Dan was dead. Like Angel. And Arana.

And I have had three hallucinations in this day alone. Which was bad. It implied I wasn't good.

But I am.

Against my best judgement, I turned back. I turned cold.

Dan stood about forty feet away. I knew, no know, he couldn't be there. But he was. Looking like he wanted to talk.

Make it stop.

I kept walking but still my keys keep turning to his direction.

Get them out.

A touch on my hand broke me out of my internal debate. Juvia.

"Hey, Juvia's has been calling you." She looked at me worriedly.

"I'm fine." I said, surprisingly fast. She only smiled at me.

"Master!" She waved at a small man who sat near a bar, and pulled me along. "Master, this is Lucy."

The old man nodded at me. "Aquarius has informed me." He said and smiled. "Welcome to Fairy Tail Lucy. If there's anything we can do for you, never hesitate to ask!"

"T-Thank you."

Juvia squeezed my hand and turned me around. She started to point. "Natsu and Gray-sama are over there," She pointed left, "That is Levy-san, Gajeel-kun, oh and there's Cana." She kept pointing and her finger lands on a tall girl with a glass in her hand.

Is that… alcohol?

Who drinks this early in the afternoon?

Probably Angel.

"Don't worry, its like an alcohol free beer. It just tastes a lot like beer. Do you want one?"

I shook my head.

"Ah, it's Luigi!" I saw Natsu point to me, standing up from his chair and bouncing over to me.

"It's Lucy." I corrected him.

"Luigi."

"Lucy."

"Ah. Luigi."

I felt a vein pop in my head and I glare at him. He grinned at me. He then looked at Juvia. "Can I take her?"

"She's not a stray cat, Natsu-san." The said man grabbed my wrist, I nearly jumped at the touch. He stopped.

"Lucy?"

"S-Sorry." I look down. "I'll follow, just please don't drag me around." I told him. He looks at me, confused and concerned.

"A-Alright." He rubbed the back of his head and began walking, me in tow. He stops at the table he was sitting on just minutes prior. I see two heads with white hair and my eyes widened when I recognized someone.

"You're Mirajane!" I pointed. The woman smiled at me.

"Hello!" She waved enthusiastically.

"You're like… you're a model from Sorcerer Weekly! You're sponsored by my favourite makeup brand!" I gasped.

"Oh." She nodded. "I'm sorry, you know me but, I don't know who you are." She pouted.

Oh my God she's beautiful.

"I'm Lucy…" Her hands reached out and clasped mine.

"It's so nice to meet you Lucy!"

"Sit down." Natsu offered me a chair. I did.

"Would you like a drink?" Mirajane stood up. I shook my head, telling her that I don't drink. "What about an iced tea?"

I blinked. "Y-yes please."

"Lemon okay?" I nodded, and I watch her walk towards the bar to pour me a glass.

"So Lucy," The man with white hair spoke just as Mirajane set the glass in front of me. "Where you from?"

"Oh," I blinked. Who are you?

"That's Elfman. Mira's brother." Natsu whispered beside me.

"Ah. I'm from…" I trailed off. "Hargeon."

"Hargeon? You lived near the port?" Mira asks.

"That's manly." Elfman nodded. Manly?

"So you're new in Magnolia? Welcome. "

"Thank you."

"Why'd you come here?" Natsu asks curiously, his eyes on me. I blushed.

"Change of pace." I lied. "It's a… heat of the moment. You know, just transferred immediately." I smiled. The three just looked at me weirdly. "What?"

"Nothing." Mira smiled ta me. "We should have a welcome party for you tomorrow!"

My eyes widened. "Oh, n-no it's fine."

"Its tradition!" Natsu nearly yelled. "Every time someone new joins us, we need to celebrate!" he laughed and laned back on his chair. "Mira, there should be hot shots."

"What's going on?' Juvia walked over to us, Gray right behind her.

"We're planning Lucy's welcome party." Mira tells her. "Oh, Juvia, your in charge of drinks. Gray, decorations. Natsu-" She pointed towards the pink haired man. "Stay away from everything."

*.*.*.*.*

"They're nice." I commented when Juvia opened the door of our apartment and dropped my things off the couch. "I like them. I guess."

Juvia giggled. "I told you." She threw her stuff to where mine were. "Would you like to shower?"

"It's a bit cold. Maybe later. " I shrugged at her, pulling my phone out to text Aquarius.

"Juvia will go first then." She said and left for her bedroom. I walked the refrigerator, opening it with ease and stared at it's contents, eager to have something sweet o my stomach. Juvia, bless her wonderful soul, happily stocked up the fridge upon knowledge that I will be living here. What a nice girl.

Yogurt, soda, leftover lasagna, chocolate milk. My head throbbed suddenly, which was all directed to my right eye. Migraines again. I grabbed the cup of strawberry yogurt and pulled out a spoon from the cupboard. I filled my mouth with the sweet tangy taste and walked towards my room. The spoon hanging from my mouth.

As soon as I was on the threshold of my bedroom, I froze, dropping the spoon. Juvia had several pictures of her friends hanging on the right side of the wall, I remember that.

They were hanging on the left. I'm imagining this. I had a long day.

I turned my head back and they were. They were on the right side. I was just tired.

I hurried to my bedroom, shutting the door behind me.

I need to relax, get out of these clothes, and rest.

I just had a long day that's all.
