Sorry this took so long! I was having so much fun writing future chapters that I forgot to go back and finish this chapter in time.

A little note for those of you who don't know:

"This is a character speaking out loud."

'This is a character's internal thoughts.'

Group three (Blue, Yellow, Emerald, and Platinum) had met up with the remainder of group two (Red, Sapphire, X, and Sun), and were wandering the halls. They had been taking too long, so Green sent group two after the, originally, smaller group. He stayed behind at the entrance hall.

"Nothing's down here." Emerald yelled.

"We can't give up! Black's down 'ere somewhere..." Sapphire looked around, "somewhere..."

"We gotta head back." Sun said. She glanced around once more, not detecting anything with her amazing hearing.

"...Fine."

They started towards the entrance hall, only to have the floor start glowing. Yellow's eyes grew wide, amber irises filled with fear.

"Guys! We gotta get out of here!" Red yelled.

"What? Why?" X was confused.

"They're coming!" Yellow yelled, covering her face in fear. A growling sounded as figures arose from the shadows, surrounding the group.

The creatures growled.

"Guys..."

They leaped.

Emerald was covered almost immediately, barely able to shake the creatures off of him. Sapphire ran to his aide. She pried the creatures off, but they kept coming back.

"How do we fight them?!" A female voice called out.

"Just don't let them touch you!" Red yelled, not knowing who asked the question.

"A bit late for that." Emerald said sarcastically. Sapphire kicked off a few creatures before speaking.

"Guys! This way!"

A figure stood in the doorway, light concealing its appearance.

The group started towards it; however, the ground began to shake before it was visible.

"Watch out!" Platinum yelled.

Sapphire looked around her, tripping over a monster. She tried to push herself off the floor, but something was thrust through her chest

"...!"

She couldn't feel pain, only shock. She managed to turn her head towards her wound. Blood pooled around her impaled chest, a dagger stuck through it.

Her breath came in short gasps as she realized she could no longer breathe. The creatures crawled onto her, sucking the remaking life out of her. She weakly punched one, only for it to attach to her. Black spots floated in her vision, blocking her sight.

'This is it...'

She coughed, feeling blood dribble down her chin. Looking up, she saw Platinum frown, before running up to the rest of the group. They were running into the hallway.

She closed her eyes, feeling the last of her strength seep out of her body.

She died with thoughts of Ruby in her mind.

The group ran into the hallway, before turning around and slamming the door shut.

Emerald's eyes widened.

"Sapphire? Where's Sapphire!" The group all looked around, yet Sapphire was not found.

"Then she must..." Yellow had a look of horror on her face.

"There's no way she can still...be alive, right?" X asked. Everyone had a solemn look on their face. Suddenly, they heard growling, and the creatures bang against the door.

"We'll check for her body later. For now, we need to prevent any more deaths by moving forwards." Red said, being a voice of wisdom. Before even moving, they noticed something strange.

"Hey, these hallways weren't here before, were they?" X asked yet another question this chapter.

"You're right!" Yellow and Emerald yelled. There were three hallways stretched out in front of them, and they hadn't been there before.

"Well, we have no choice but to continue on. Let's take the right one, we should be fine as long as we're together, right guys?" Red said. There were two voices missing from the agreement that sounded throughout the hallway. Red turned his head while saying,

"Blue, Sun, you guys have been pretty quiet since..." he trailed off. The two previously mentioned were collapsed on the floor.

"BLUE!" Yellow ran up to her and shook her shoulders. She stuck her head up.

yawn*

"That was a nice nap." She looked at her watch.

"You were sleeping through our discussion?" Emerald asked

"What? I needed that 15-minute power nap."

"So you missed everything we said?"

"I only fell asleep around the part about Sapphire."

Emerald just sighed.

"Well, what about Sun?" Red walked over to Sun. Flipping him over, it became apparent that he had passed out in fear. Everyone else just sighed.

"He's the only one acting rationally among us." X chuckled.

The group had begun moving after that. They started to see familiar doors.

"This is great!" Blue cheered as she twirled to face the others. She had been leading the group.

"Huh? Platinum? Yellow?" The two girls had suddenly vanished. Everyone looked around, searching the rooms in the doors they had just arrived at, but the girls weren't around. It might have been because of the fact that they had come from the other direction, but in this place, you never know.

Opening the last door, X found something interesting.

"Diamond!" The said boy was sitting in a chair, reading a book.

"Guys? What are you doing here?"

"Searching for you...sort of." Blue giggled as she scratched her cheek.

"Sorry, I just had to leave and cool off. I had so many emotions going through my heart, mainly excitement because Diamond and Pearl remakes were just officially announced." Diamond let out a happy sigh.

"What?"

"I said, mainly because I was so upset with myself for not saving White. Anyways, what did you mean by 'sort of'?"

"Well..." Blue didn't want to break the news to him.

"Platinum and Yellow have gone missing." Sun said for her.

"What? Missy!" Diamond was alarmed.

"The best thing to do would be to meet back up with Green. He'll probably have a plan." Red explained. Diamond sighed, trying not to let his emotions control him again. The group began to walk towards where Green was waiting.

'We started searching with Blue, Yellow, Emerald, Platinum, Sapphire, X, Sun, and myself, and we're leaving with just Blue, Emerald, X, and Sun, with the addition of Diamond and myself.' Red thought to himself and sighed.

"Yellow-senpai? Seniors? Where are you?" Platinum called out, her voice echoing throughout the halls of the Old Chateau.

After leaving, they had gotten separated since they were a little slow (Well Yellow was, she didn't want to leave the poor girl behind, but she ended up losing her anyways).

A ghost Pokémon had flickered in and out of her view.

'Strange, now that I think about it, this place has lacked any sign of Pokémon. It's to the point that the Pokémon here seems out of place.'

Platinum kept a hand near her Pokéballs, not scared of the Pokémon, just ready to defend herself.

A gengar flickered into her view, laughing creepily. She swiped empty air as she tried to grab her rapidash's Pokéball. Quickly, she grabbed her empoleon's instead. The gengar floated towards her.

"Empoleon, use Hydro Pump!" Platinum yelled as threw the Pokéball.

Empoleon used said move... only to have it pass right by the other Pokémon. The Pokémon chuckled darkly, eyes glowing as it smiled demonically.

The move hit a support beam instead, making the section of the basement shake. Debris began to fall on the girl.

"Oh dear..."

The gengar chuckled before disappearing.

The celling made a cracking noise as Platinum searched for a way out.

"Help! Anyone!" As she tried to run to a wall to be at least a little safer (the door had disappeared), She found that her feet were stuck to the floor. The beam in front of her collapsed in on itself.

'This is it, everyone... I'm sorry, I... failed'

The ceiling collapsed, and the last thing Platinum could see was a bright light.

Hey guys! This is where Curious Calamity had originally stopped writing, so everything from here on out while be what I came up with as an ending. I hope you guys enjoy it! I changed the ending here a little to fit with what I wrote, so there were no inconsistencies.
