I hope you guys enjoy what I end up writing! Also, if the character feel ooc, it's for the story. Think about it, if anyone were in this situation, they would act differently then how they normally do.

I haven't gotten any complaints about it or anything, just felt the need to point it out.

A white light filled Platinum's eyesight.

'It's been a fun life. I have many great memories and no real regrets. However, I do not fear death. Death comes for us all, one way or another, and now just happened to be my time.' Platinum smiled before she lost consciousness.

"Is anyone here! I heard a loud noise!" Black yelled. He had been staying in a room by the entrance to the basement when he heard the support beam fall. He looked around the room and saw a big pile of rubble by the fallen support beam. He walked over and began picking up the rubble.

"Is there someone under here!" Black spoke loudly. The rubble was heavy, so he didn't want to be digging through it for no reason. He was about to give up until he saw a scarf.

"I think that's Platinum's scarf," he muttered, "are you in their Platinum!?"

No answer.

"Platinum!" Again, no response. He kept digging through the rubble anyway. After a minute or two, he saw Platinum.

"Platinum! Are you okay!?" He yelled

'No you idiot, she's obviously not' Black picked up Platinum's body.

"Wait," he started, "you're not dead... right?" Black asked. He set Platinum down.

"I-I don't know how to do to alive checker thingy!" Black realized he didn't know how to check a pulse, so he couldn't really know if she's alive.

'I could try to wake her up, but that could be dangerous if she got a concussion or something. I know!" Black thought to himself before he wrapped his hands around Platinum's. His eyes widened in shock. It was cold.

"No!" He yelled.

"No, no, no, no, no! N-Not another one!" Black cried.

"You have to be alive!" Black picked up Platinum's body and took her in the room he had been staying in. He set her on the bed, before he sat on the floor, sobbing.

"Green!" The second group arrived back at the main room.

"Is..." Green trailed off, "that all of you."

"Sapphire was..." Y said, not wanting to finish.

"I understand." Green replied, not wanting to force her to speak about it more.

"There were more of those monster things." Emerald explained.

"What could those be?" Red asked. The group was pondering when the first group came running into the room.

"Gold stayed behind," Crystal was panting, "to fend off the monsters."

"Is he okay?" Green asked, worried.

"I-I don't know." Crystal said, feeling guilty for leaving him behind.

"We just have to hope for the best." Ruby said, trying to lighten the mood.

"So, who's missing? Gold, Black, Yellow, and Platinum?" Green listed.

"I think Sapphire is missing too." Ruby suggested. The mood in the room visibly darkened. Nobody had the heart to tell him his best friend had died. Ruby, understanding what happened sunk back against the wall. A single tear escaped his eye.

"No. Sapphire can't die. She'd never die." Ruby's voice began to weaken.

"She can't!" He yelled. Everyone was silent as his sobbing echoed throughout the halls of the main entrance. Nobody said a thing for twenty minutes. It wasn't only Ruby who cried. As everyone reflected on their situation, their previously adrenaline-motivated minds began to calm down and realize how bad their situation really was.

Three of their friends were already dead, and four were missing. Blue, Emerald, and Diamond let their emotions loose and began to cry too.

"I don't want anyone else to be murdered," Green started, "and I hate to say it but one of us is the murderer."

"We need a plan." Ruby spoke up as he wiped a tear off of his face. It seems like he is not going to let Sapphire's murder drag him down.

"I've been forming a basic plan." Green started

"We are going to have two teams. A search team and a defense team. I don't think we should split up, but we can't leave those missing for dead. I think the search team speaks for itself, but the defense team is to prevent more murders." Green explained.

"How?" Diamond asked.

"Well think about it, Silver and White were both separated before they were murdered. So we need to stick together. The defense team will stay in a room together, and watch over each other. No murderer can kill in front of that many people." Green finished explaining.

"So, that sounds like a good plan, but won't it be dangerous to be on the search team?" Sun asked.

"That's why the search team will have four people. Enough so that one person can't overpower the others, and not too many to be taken away from the defense team. I'll also ask for volunteers, so no one will be forced into danger. So, any volunteers?" Green proposed.

"I'll go." Ruby said. That shocked everyone, as they thought he would want to recover after learning of Sapphire's unfortunate fate.

"I can't let anyone else be taken!" He said with resolve.

"I'll go too. There are others who have lost so much here, while I haven't. Don't get me wrong, I am upset about those we have lost, but I'm saying there are others in this room who were much closer to them and have known them for longer." Y volunteered.

"I guess I will go. Missy is still missing." Pearl said.

"Count me in." Blue chimed in. Everyone was waiting for her reason. Sensing everyone's eyes on her, she spoke.

"What? It sounds more interesting than sitting in a room." Green sighed.

"Alright, Blue, Ruby, Pearl, and Y will be our search team. I'm counting on you guys to bring all of the missing people back to safety. Everyone else, follow me." Green led the others out of the room.

"Let's start in the west hall."

Black woke up. He hadn't realized he dozed off, but he felt more refreshed and clear-headed now that he had gotten some sleep.

"You feel better?"

"Uahhhh!" Black yelled.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." Platinum said while settling on Black's bed.

"I-I thought y-you were dead!" Black said startled."

"I mean I am a little sore, and I'm pretty cut up from the glass, but I'm fine. No broken bones or limbs!" Platinum said cheerfully.

"How?! You were crushed under heavy support beams, parts of the wall, and glass." Black questioned

"I guess I wasn't crushed as badly as I would have been, had I been somewhere else." Platinum explained.

"I don't think so, but I'll take that answer for now. What were you doing in the basement?"

"I was with group three looking for you, but I walked slower to accompany Yellow. I don't know how, but we got separated and I was suddenly in the basement. A gengar appeared and attacked me, so I sent out my empoleon and used Hydro Pump. The move went right through the gengar and hit the support beam." She retold the events that happened a few hours ago.

"It fell on top of you and that's when I found you." Black thought out loud.

"I was a little surprised when I woke up here, but I saw you sleeping on the floor and guessed what had happened. I found a first-aid kit in this room and cleaned my wounds." Platinum said.

"That's good, but you said you were looking for me when you got lost?" Black asked.

"Yeah, but don't think that it is your fault. This probably would have happened anyway. We were also searching for Diamond." She tried to comfort Black.

"Yeah, it just makes me happy that you guys care about me enough to search for me while murders are happening." Platinum smiled at what Black said before saying,

"I need your help with something."

"Yeah?" Black smiled.

"Yellow is dead."

I know the defense team is not a creative name, but I'm horrible at creating names. If any one has a more creative name, I could possibly change it.
