The title is based off of "I believe what you said" by Asaka (from Higurashi no naku koro ni Gou or Higurashi: When They Cry Gou). Higurashi Sotsu is coming out next month and I am excited!

Hello everyone! This chapter was delayed one release schedule thing (It was supposed to be chapter 12 on June 1st and chapter 13 around the 15th, but this chapter, 12, is being released around the 15th) since school ending and finals and stuff, but I passed! So, before you get into this chapter, I want to apologize since I think I went overboard with the comedy this chapter, especially revolving around Red and Green. It was honestly so fun to write and much easier to come up with than the more serious stuff, but don't worry, it gets more serious going forward. Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me this far!

"What the hell!" Y had just woken up to discover that she had been vulnerable to attack the whole night.

"Moon, up! Now!" She panicked searching the room for any explosives or traps. Moon sprang up cheerfully.

"Man, I feel so refreshed after getting some sleep!" Ironically enough, Moon was a morning person. She was confused at Y's panic, before noticing the state of the door.

"Ahh, I get it now." She said before walking up to the broken door.

"NO! What are you doing! There might be traps, or explosives, or gasoline set up to be dumped on you, or a knife skillfully placed atop the door, or a huge bo-"

"Watch." Moon cut Y off before she threw a pillow at the door. Absolutely nothing happened besides the door making a loud noise from being opened so violently.

"Oh, that was what I was going to try next." Y smiled playfully.

"No you were not!" Moon laughed as they joked around.

"Are you guys okay?!" Red rushed into the room the other boys were staying in, with Green tailing him closely.

"whamnr?" Black grumbled. Pearl and Ruby yawned as they slowly sat up.

"What's your problem?" Ruby sighed.

"Your safety is my problem!" Red yelled, exasperated. He quickly explained the situation to them, and they soon started to panic.

"Oh shit! It was like this all night?" Ruby worried.

"Not when we went to bed!" Black yelled, finally fully awake. They all panicked as they tried to make sure they were all safe.

Uncharacteristically, Pearl was curled up into a ball with a look of fear on his face.

"Don't worry, I'll get us out of here all safely." Green promised him. Pearl smiled and thanked him, before walking off to use the restroom.

Green's smile then turned into a scowl.

"What the hell was wrong with him?"

"Ahh that." Diamond had just walked in from the other part of the room. The room was a rather large room, and had two parts to it. The first part connected to the hallway on one end, and the bathroom on the other. In the middle of the room, there was a wall that extended about halfway across the room from the side with the door to the hallway.

"You heard us?" Green asked.

"Yes. I suspect Pearl's unusual behavior is because of how vulnerable he felt. He's usually all feisty when he is confident in himself, but he was unknowingly in danger all night without realizing it." Diamond explained.

"I think I get it, but-"

"Sorry to cut you off Green, but I think this is more important. I woke up in the middle of your explanation about the door, but I think I understand. However, Sun wasn't there when I woke up. I don't know if he went out on his own or if he was... forcibly removed, but he's not here now." Diamond said, worried.

"You explained that very strangely, but if I understand, Sun's missing?" Red said, but the expression on his face was unreadable.

"Yeah."

"W-we should go search for him." Red was acting strange.

"Uhuh..." Green eyed him suspiciously.

"Well for now we should meet up with the girls." Pearl suggested.

"Yeah, that would make the most sense." Green monitored for the others to follow him to where the girls were staying. Each and everyone of the boys in that room sighed a breath of relief as they escaped that awkward, uncomfortable atmosphere.

Walking down the hall and picking up Blue and Platinum was fine, but there was trouble when they got to Y and Moon's room.

"Red x Green is literally heaven! YOU CAN NOT GO AGAINST THE WILL OF THE BL GODS!!!" Moon screamed at Y

"Green x Red is LITERALLY MY LIFE SOURCE!!! YOU CAN'T DENY THAT BOTTOM!RED IS CUTE!!! AND TOP!GREEN IS OH SO SEXY!!!" Y screamed back.

"Well, she's not wrong." Green replied with a smirk. Red whacked him on the head.

"How can you say that so calmly after we slept on the same bed last night?" He laughed. Both girls snapped their heads towards them.

"You slept together!?!" Their eyes were filled with excitement.

"Well, that's not-"

"Who topped?" Asked Y.

"Who bottomed?" Asked Moon.

"We didn't-" Red was cut off by Green.

"I bottomed." Green announced with a slight blush. Y nearly died in shock, while Moon danced in joy.

"I knew at least one of my premonitions would come true!"

"Dude, what the-" Red started before Green cut him off again.

"Sorry, I needed say that so we could have their full attention. I think we can both agree that finding Sun is more important than your confidence in your sexuality." Green sighed.

"That's not the problem here, but whatever." Red's mood had suddenly changed for the worse, and Green immediately picked up on it.

"Sorry, was that the wrong thing to say. Don't worry, I support you, whatever your sexuality, and I know you feel them same for me." Green apologized.

"No that's not it, but thanks anyway. The thing is, and I didn't want to say anything earlier since I wasn't confident about it, but I think I might have seen Sun, last night." Red confessed.

"Huh?"

"I-I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and I couldn't open the door to ours; it was stuck. So, I went to the communal bathrooms, but I saw Sun doing something weird to the other boy's room." Red explained.

"Did you confront him about it?" Green asked.

"No, I was half asleep, and I still had to go to the bathroom. I don't remember much afterwards. I either went back to bed, or I might of checked the door first, I can't remember."

"Dude, you're useless." Green sighed.

"What?!"

"You remember going to the bathroom and nothing else." He shook his head.

"C'mon, it was the middle of the night after a long day. Having to pee was the only thing keeping me awake." Red defended himself.

Green sighed.

"I know, and don't worry about it. Whatever Sun got himself into is his own fault. You don't matter, don't be so conceited."

"Yeah, well maybe I wouldn't have to if your ego wasn't so big." Red laughed.

"What? That doesn't make even the slightest bit of sense." The two bays started to play-fight.

"Man, Green acts so differently when he is with Red." Blue smiled dreamily.

"Are you sure it isn't just cause their best friends?" Y asked.

"Y, my dear, perhaps you're not old enough to understand yet, but there is a point where friendship ends, and love begins." Blue taught her kouhai.

"I gotta say though, Green seems as though he fits the childhood friend troupe to a T; yet, Red seems like the classic BL best friend character, the one who acts, or maybe even once was, completely straight, but is actually in love with his best friend." Moon shares her opinion.

"In my opinion, they both seem like straight best friends, and you guys are just delusional fujoshi." Platinum joined in on the conversation.

"Okay, Red I can see being straight, but Green is 100% in love with Red, like, head over heels."* Blue defended her stance on the matter.

"Yeah, let's not talk about that manhwa." Y sighed.

"It was totally insane!" Blue yelled.

"She was totally psycho!" Moon added.

"Such sick twisted love." Y shook her head.

"I thought you didn't want to talk about it, whatever it is." Platinum was lost.

All three girls turned to her.

"You don't understand anything." Blue deadpanned. Platinum sighed.

"Well anyways, they are close enough to pretend they slept together." Y changed the topic.

"Yeah." The other gang members agreed.

"Wait, you knew Green was lying?" Platinum was shocked.

"Of course!" They both chimed.

"Then why did you go along with it?"

"Well, it's obvious he only said that to stop our arguing, but he answered nonetheless." Y explained.

"Huh? He only said what he had to in order to get your attention." Platinum indeed didn't understand anything.

"Seriously, you didn't catch on?!? Green blushed when he answered.Blushed!! And, he obviously answered without thinking too much about it. His subconscious did the talking." Moon corrected her thinking.

"Oh! I think I get it now! If Green were to ever sleep with Red, he would want to bottom. He lied for the situation, but subconsciously revealed his inner desires." Platinum speculated.

"Yup!" The Gossip Gang cheered.

'Damn, they're rubbing off on me! Why did I have to be the one assigned to watch over them?' Platinum cursed internally.

"You look a little, 'Damn, they're rubbing off on me', are you okay?" Y smiled intimidatingly.

'Oh no...'

"Okay, everyone! I have decided what we should do!" Green spoke up. After his discussion with Red, he had been trying to find the best plan of action.

"Sun is missing, so we need to find him. However, I don't want to send out a search team at the moment, so we're all going to search for him." Everyone decided it was a good idea, so they gave Green their support.

"And so, the brave heroes set out to find the dumbass who got lost while trying to go to the bathroom." Moon exclaimed. Red laughed while Green just sighed.

'He's most likely dead, yet she still insults him like that! I thought they were friends, she wouldn't-! Unless...' Green thought to himself. He turned to look at her.

"Woah, what did you do?!" Blue whisper-yelled. The gossip gang and Platinum had been walking further behind the rest of the group, but she didn't want to talk loud enough so Green could hear her.

"What?"

"That's what I'm asking!" Moon sighed before turning to face Blue.

"Why are you asking 'what did you do'?"

"Green's glaring at you big time! Did you hit on Red?!?" Blue let her fantasies escape into reality.

"No! I don't think so!" Moon tried to recall all of the times she talked to Red that day.

"Actually, Red hit on me!"

"Ehh!?! He did?!?" Y almost lost consciousness.

"When!" Blue got real close to her.

"This morning! When he knocked me out." Moon replied, struggling to not laugh. The other girls, including Platinum, fell to the floor. Moon failed to contain her laughter, and it echoed throughout the halls.

Green and the rest of the group ahead stopped and turned to them.

"Will you just SHUT THE HELL UP!!!" Green finally lost control and screamed at the girls.

"We're searching for someone who is probably dead, yet you guys just keep laughing away back here, goofing off! And you," he turned to Platinum, "you were supposed to watch them; keep them in check! Yet here we are! You failed miserably! You're all worthless!"

Everyone was silent. Green turned around and continued to walk, the others eventually following. Ruby had wanted to say something, but was at a loss for words.

Y had tears in her eyes, and Moon started to cry. Fuming, Blue stood up and walked over to Green. She raised her hand and slapped his face as hard as she could.

"Asshole."

Again, everyone was silent. Blue took off in the other direction.

"Come on girls, we're searching over here."

Moon immediately followed, and Platinum helped Y up before also following Blue.

A few of the guys were muttering stuff about how unreasonable it was and how Green was right,

but Green

saw

that

Blue also

had

tears

in her

eyes.

Blue turned around to face the girls.

"So, we're going to find Sun before those assholes! We haven't been down this hallway yet, so be on the look out!" She had said this cheerfully, but they could see that her smile was strained.

"Blue, you don't-"

"Hopefully we'll find Gold and Crystal while we're at it too. On second thought, the boys should have to deal with her." Blue obviously didn't want to talk about it. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

All of the sudden, Moon broke down into tears.

"I-I hope Sun is... is okay." She held onto Y, who rubbed her back comfortingly.

"We all do." Platinum smiled. While it might not have been the most comforting response, it didn't lead her to a false sense of safety.

They all sat in silence, save for Moon's crying, for a few minutes. After letting her emotions out, Moon wiped her tears away and put on a smile.

"But Red x Green is better. Although I feel hints of Blue x Green."

"Okay, Green x Red, no printer. Blue x Green is not in the slightest realm of possibility, although it is nice to ship." Y countered.

"Umm, Blue x Green and Green x Blue are both disgusting ships that have no chance of happening." Blue was vomiting.

"Fine, fine." Moon sighed.

"You know, I can see Diamond x Pearl." Platinum joined in on the conversation.

"Gasp!!!" All of the other girls were shocked.

"You have to give us inside details!" Moon yelled, excited.

Just then however, the floor beneath them gave in and they all fell through, hitting the floor roughly.

"Did you just hear a loud noise?" Ruby asked. The group of boys had been continuing in the hallway they were already in.

"Yeah? I think?" Black said. Diamond, Pearl, and Red nodded in agreement, but Green was lost in thought.

"Where'd it come from?" Ruby wondered out loud.

"I think it was in the direction the girls went." Diamonds muttered.

The boys had stopped walking, but Green, in his own world, had kept walking and was now at a considerable distance from the rest of them.

"Hey! Green! Snap out of it, will ya'!" Pearl yelled.

No response.

"Green! Get back here!" Diamond tried.

No response.

"GREEN!" Ruby and Black called out.

Again, no response.

"Green! Get your ass back over here you idiot!" Red yelled at him.

This time, Green's head visibly snapped up and he turned around. Realizing how far ahead he was from everyone else, he blushed in embarrassment and jogged back to the group. Ruby and Black laughed.

"Was it the fact the Red was calling out to him, or the fact that his ass was mentioned." Ruby said past his laughter.

"I think it's a combination of both." Black replied.

Green was caught up on the situation and was presented with the task of deciding what to do.

"Well, I think we should send two people out to check on them." He decided.

"We shouldn't all go and check on them?" Pearl asked.

"No, I don't think Blue, or any of the girls, wants to see me right now." He said melancholically. The rest of the boys sighed, knowing it was true.

"Girls are just so temperamental some times." Ruby huffed.

"Yeah, they just need to calm down, Green was right." Pearl added. Green glared at them.

"No, I was in the wrong. I really did hurt all of their feelings, even Blue's. Everybody copes with bad situations differently, and I, we, should respect theirs."

The others were silent. They knew Green was more mature than most of them, but this was on another level. What he had said was true, and none of the others had realized it. They had put them down, and then proceeded to make fun of them and hurt their feelings.

Then, everyone had somber looks on their faces. They didn't mean to hurt the girls, they were just trying to defend Green.

"Hey, hey. Cheer up guys. Wow, I didn't mean to depress everyone. Well, I guess we should continue searching. Uh, Ruby, Black, you guys go check up on the girls. We'll be fine." Green tried to lighten the mood.

"Uh, okay."

"Sure."

And then they carried on with their tasks. Although, everyone still had a somber look, save for Red, who had a satisfied smirk on his face. He quickly whispered and did something with Ruby before they left to check on the girls. With that, there were five separate groups of people in the Old Chateau.

"Why did you think it was a good idea." Person A asked.

"Why you say? I guess, it seemed fun." Crystal replied.

"Well, I guess it is fun, but it's not your job. It's my job, my responsibility alone." A said angrily.

Crystal laughed as she twirled into a handstand.

"You can't hog all of the fun. Besides, you're doing it too slow. I just helped you take out some of the trash." She said while doing a hand stand.

"Wow, calling your own comrade trash; but, he was though." A laughed.

Crystal hopped up, with a serious expression on her face.

"What about him? I helped you do your job, so give me some info. What did you do to him? Where is he?"

"Honey, that's not how it works. I'm the mastermind here; I'm in control. You chose to kill the trash, so you can't expect anything out of me in return for your choice. Besides, I'm sure you can figure it out. You figured out who I am and where to find me relatively quickly." A smirked as they saw Crystal get frustrated and pull out some of her hair.

"It wasn't that hard to figure you out since there were clues everywhere, but finding you here was by pure chance and you know it. Please have mercy and let me know where he is."

"Oh, mercy? Don't you think I'm being merciful enough by keeping him alive; and you for that matter?" Person A played with Crystal.

"Aruggh!! Fuck you! Ughhhh, okay I GUESS you're giving out PLENTY of mercy right now, but if you dare to kill him I'll make sure-" A covered her mouth.

"I wouldn't say any more if I were you. You know how I am. I'm fine if you keep taking out the trash, but you know what I want. As long as you don't touch it, I'll keep you safe, for now. Now scram before I get angry." A said, stoically.

Crystal giggled as A's had left her mouth, and then cartwheeled down the hall.

"Are you guys okay?!" Platinum yelled. The floor beneath the girls had collapsed out of nowhere, and they fell down a floor.

"Yeah, kind of." Blue muttered, pulling herself out of the rubble.

"Luckily I just got the wind knocked out of me." Y said.

"Me too." Platinum was fine other than that.

Moon, however, was knocked out cold on the floor. She seemed fine other than a few scratches, but it she seemed like she would be out for a little while. Platinum sighed in relief. She looked around to assess their-

"Oh my-!" She yelled. Off to the left of them, Sun was on the floor with a lot of partially dried blood around his head. Blue and Y gasped as they saw him too.

Platinum quickly got up to check his pulse, but he was already cold and dead.

"We need to move him fast so Moon doesn't wake up to this awful sight."

"But the blood, maybe we can move Moon?" Blue suggested.

"No, that would be dangerous, especially if she had some neck injury that we can't see. Just the blood is better than the body and the blood." Platinum reasoned.

"I guess, but you have too move him." Blue looked away, disgusted at the thought of touching the body.

"Yep." Y agreed.

"Come on guys." Platinum sighed, but just then, Moon woke up violently.

"Guys! I saw it in my dream. I've been having these weird prophetic dreams dreams recently, but I'll explain later! Sun is being tortured by, you'll never guess w-" Moon immediately stopped talking as she looked over at Platinum, who was right by Sun.

"NO!" She cried. She dug herself out of the rubble and ran to him.

"Sun! You can't die yet! You still need to earn more money! Y-you still need..." she trailed off, "I need you to be with me!"

She broke out into tears, grabbing on to Platinum. She wailed for a few minutes while everyone looked at her sympathetically, before she fell asleep in Platinum's lap.

The girls had a few discussions on what to do next, but decided to wait for Moon to wake up to make anything final. Minutes later, they heard footsteps and worried whispers above them.

"Girls!?!" Ruby called out

"Ruby?" Platinum yelled back.

"Ah, great. One of the assholes is here." Blue sighed.

"Oh great! You're safe! We heard the crash and got worried, so Ruby and I came to check on you guys." Black explained.

"Correction, two assholes." Blue sighed once again.

The boy's heads peaked into the newly created hole in the floor. They quickly assessed the situation.

"So, just Moon is knocked out..." Ruby sighed in relief.

"Yes, but no." Y object kind of.

"Moon was knocked out, but she woke up and cried, and then fell back asleep."

"She cried?" Black questioned.

"Well, waking up to Sun's corpse must've been traumatizing." Y thought aloud.

"Wait, Sun is dead?!" Both boys gasped.

"You can't see him from there? Oh, sorry to break it to you like that." Y giggled nervously.

"Umm, it's fine, I guess." Ruby sighed uncomfortably.

Moon woke up, most likely from the commotion. She punched the floor, cursing, before taking a breath and putting a smile on her face.

"Uhm, how's Pearl doing?" She asked the boys.

"Fine, I guess?" Black was off put by her strange behavior.

"Yeah, it had to be meaningless." She muttered.

"What?" Platinum, who was right next to her, asked.

"Nothing." Moon sighed as she looked off to the side.

Taking about 30 minutes, the boys searched for a safe way to retrieve the girls, got lost temporarily, were found by the girls, and all of them returned to the spot the boys were originally at.

"So, I guess since you guys found Sun, we should meet up with Green and them." Black suggested.

"Yeah, no." Blue said.

"C'mon Blue, we get to rub the fact that we found Sun and they didn't in their faces." Y tried to cheer her up.

"What? We get to brag about how we found a dead body and they didn't have to see it?" Blue sighed.

"Ah, I guess that wouldn't be much to brag about." Y resigned. Ruby exhaled.

"I thought it might come to this. Well, Red prepared a special video about Green just for you girls." Ruby specifically worded it like that to grab the girls' attention.

"Oh my god! Is this his confession to Green? As his apology to us?!? Forgiven!!!" Y yelled.

"Maybe it's a Green edit! It shows his love for him?!?" Moon speculated happily.

"What if it's a video of Green and him kissing?!?" Blue sighed dreamily.

"Could Red have begun to stalk Green?" Platinum asked.

"I don't think it's that one." Ruby sighed at Platinum.

"Gasp!!!" All of the girls gasped, and Ruby and Black sighed.

"Here, just watch the video." He handed them his phone.

The video was not a confession, a Green edit, a special moment, or stalker footage, but in fact Green's outburst at the boys earlier. Red had filmed Green getting mad at them for badmouthing the girls and his indirect apology specifically for this moment. How did he know to film that moment? He knew his best friend.

The girls were shocked at the video, but Blue smiled after a few moments.

"Such an idiot." She sighed.

"Like I said, forgiven." Y smiled.

"Agreed." Moon said. However Blue and Platinum did not immediately agree to forgive him.

"This is nice and all, but what he did was pretty horrible. He called us useless while we were already upset! It's especially horrible in our current situation. However, it is nice to know he knows it was awful of him, and he is Green, so he is partially forgiven." Blue explained her thinking, and Platinum nodded in agreement.

Ruby and Black smiled. They knew that some things, even if they are little, really do affect a person, and this was a lesson to them that they shouldn't let their emotions control their actions.

Blue sighed.

"Watch what you guys say from now on."

"Definitely." They replied.

"Alright, you guys are forgiven."

And with that, they set off to join back up with Green's group.

"Ihihihi!" Crystal giggled. She had just seen the... lovely drawing that person had drawn on the wall. (A/N: Wow, don't write when you are tired guys, I just almost accidentally revealed who the mastermind was right here. Glad I caught myself!)

"Maybe I should make some of my own artwork?" She pondered. Deciding it was a brilliant idea, she skipped her way to the kitchen. She grabbed a cooking knife and sliced open her wrist over a tall glass.

She laughed as she watched the blood pour from the wound and into the cup. When she had a significant amount of blood, she wrapped up the wound and pulled out a paint brush she had gotten from who knows where. Dipping it into the cup, she began to paint... lovely pictures on the dining room table in her blood.

"Ohh, I wonder what they'll say; how'll they react?" As she finished up her drawing, she began to get drowsy. She yawned, and then laughed cynically.

"Maybe I should speed things up, as long as I don't touch..." she wondered out loud, "I should be fine, but I guess I should nap for now."

Crystal left the glass of blood and paint brush on the counter, and then found a random room to lay down in.

"Shit!" Ruby jumped as Moon suddenly collapsed behind him.

"How the hell does one person faint so much in one day?" Platinum sighed.

"Well, she has been mentioning these strange dreams shes been having." Blue speculated.

"But what do we do now?" Black asked.

"I guess just wait for her," Y suggested, "since carrying would take too much energy, we could do the opposite and just rest here for now."

Since nobody came up with a better plan, Y's plan was put into action. They discussed things like what to do going forward, who the mastermind could be, and the Diamond x Pearl conversation was picked up from earlier. And in less than a half hour, Moon woke up.

"So, what was it this time?" Blue asked.

"Ehh, I don't really want to share, it could lead to unnecessary-"

"We're adults; we can handle it." Platinum cut Moon off.

"Alright, this time I saw, keep in mind the fact that all of my premonitions have been wrong, but I saw Pearl," she paused, "had been stabbed to death."

"Damn..."

And that's it for part one! To expand on what I said in the beginning, you might have been able to see that the humor was the gossip gang's way of coping with the current situation; they're laughing so that they're not crying. Again, I feel I put a little too much comedy in this chapter, but it was necessary to a certain extent. This arc in general has had much more comedy since it has focused on the gossip gang, Moon in particular, but the comedy will mostly stop here.

On that note, the end is quickly approaching! I had originally planned this story to be 20-25 chapters, but around chapter 10, I realized that it might be difficult to write that much without it being too stretched out (like entire chapters without anyone dying), so I wrote out all the main plot points I wanted to cover in this story, and settled on 15 chapters, with a few extra long chapters (like chapter 10). So you guys know what's happening going forward, I will post chapter 13 in July, and then take a break to plan out and write the last two chapters. I will try to look through everything to leave no plot holes, and I want to write the best ending I can. Thank you all for reading this, and I'll see you next time!
