Hello everyone sorry for the late update but i had my exams i am doing mbbs and it really is tough i never thought i will say this but please believe me when i say that any profession is better that this ( not hurting anyone' s feelings its just my opinion you are free to choose whatever profession you like) so REALLY SORRY FOR THE DELAY AND I PROMISE RHAT FROM NOW ONWARDS I WILL UPDATE REGULARLY

HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY

HEADMASTER'S OFFICE

"Remus I have told you multiple times that Harry is safe and I am not going to tell you where he is ." said the man with a long white beard wearing purple colour wizard robes on which stars and moons are embroidered looking like Merlin sitting in the headmasters chair the one and only Albus Dumbledore.

"Albus I agreed with you when you told me that Harry won't be safe with me, but I want to meet my cub I trust you albus but I want to make sure that he is safe and happy please Albus just for once you can erase the memory of the address if you want but please allow me to meet Harry just for once ." replied the man named Remus Lupin.

"Remus I am saying this for the last time I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU HARRY's ADDRESS now please if there is nothing left I would like to do some work, " told Albus dumbledore finally losing his patience.

Remus finally accepting defeat left the headmaster's office and went home but not before threatening Albus that if anything happened to his cub he will kill everyone including albus himself.

After Remus left his office albus let loose his anger ,his plan to keep Harry at the dursleys is not going well ,Remus has started questioning him and wants to know where he had send Harry soon he will start looking for that brat and merlin if he found out that The great Albus dumbledore ,the leader of light ,the symbol of hope has put a child in a place where he is hated for even existing he will surely not take it kindly ,no that won't do ,to make harry the ultimate weapon he needs harry to experience a harsh childhood ,he has to do something about Remus though .perhaps...

Remus walked up to the gates to apparate back home thinking all the way of different places where Albus could have placed harry. Finally reaching the gates he apparated back home, apparating directly to the living room of his home he fell down on the couch and opening a bottle of firewhiskey , started thinking about the happy times he and his friend James had spent playing with Harry, he had failed his friends he had failed his cub. he has been trying to find harry for the last 3 years and had asked Albus on several occasions about harry 's whereabouts but Albus is adamant that Harry is safe and has to stay away from everyone in the wizarding world for his own safety, he was devastated to know that his friend James and Lily were killed but was shocked when it came out that Sirius betrayed them, Sirius and James were like brothers he can't believe Sirius betrayed James and now he can't take care of harry, his cub... who knows how Harry is ,whether he is cared properly or not, he can only hope that Harry is getting the love and care he so deserves.

After sometime his thoughts drifted back to Sirius ,he still cant believe that his friend betrayed them ,well once he did suspected sirius but then he knew that sirius cant do anything which can harm james they are practically brothers ,and then Harry how can sirius do that to harry how can he give the dark lord harry's life like it doesnt matter to him ,no he cant do that .In the end Remus decided that he needs to visit sirius even if he betrayed his friends he wants to know why ? why will sirius do that? why did he chose to aid in the murder of his friends and his godson ?

Standing outside the dark scary building Remus thought about going back ,he turned around but cant apparate he wants, no he needs some answers Albus has never allowed him to visit Sirius and he never went against him but he cant wait any longer to get his answers he needs them or merlin knows he might get mad with stress.So finally making his mind Remus entered the building ,it is the day time so the dementers are not inside the building yet he discreetly signed the register with a fake. name and directly went to the high safety cells ,he knows for a fact that sirius is kept in highest security prison ,after walking for about 15 minutes and taking a few steps downwared he reached rhe corridor which has the cell in which sirius is kept ,he made up his mind ,put on a strong expressionless face and entered the cell.

He looked around but found no one suddenly a thought came to him that sirius may have died here no one can survive the dementers for long but then suddenly something caught his eyes ,specifically a black tail moving under the bed he went near the bed and sat down ,

after a few minutes of contemplation he started talking

"sirius i know its you ,i just came here to ask you a few question would you mind answering me truthfully ?"

The dog peaked from below the bed and looked at him for a long time as if contemplating what to do,then he suddenly came out and transformed into a man with black dishevelled hairs and a very thin pale body

sirius then replied-" why ? what do you want now ? you never asked questions before throwing me in here ? you never asked me anything ? why should i answer now ? you should have given me a trial and then you could have asked me whatever you want to know ? but now i have no desire to answer any of your questions ."

Remus was shocked " what do you mean we should have given you a trial ,the ministry must have hosted a trial for you and found you culprit and sent you here for your crimes... " Sirius started laughing a high cold laughter echoing throughout the jail-" you dont know do you ? who are you by the way if you were a ministry employe surely you would have known ? and for your knowledge or lack thereoff i should tell you that i was never given a trial ."

Remus was shocked now, he had no idea that Sirius never got a trial ,he was starting to hope that his friend is innocent and there is a deep secret which no one knows about so he decided to tell Sirius the truth -" Sirius i am sorry i never knew but please first you have to tell me why did you betray lily and james you were their friend you and james ,you two , you were unseperable then why ?"

Sirius shouted -"I never betrayed them James was ..is my brother i can never do that to him and how can i do that i wasn't even the secret keeper of their location and you how do you know about me and James i dont remember you being in our school ?"

Remus took a deep breath and disillusioned himself ,and looked towards his friend or exfriend whatever

sirius was shocked ,after all this time finally Remus has come to rescue him he went straight to hug his friend and started sobbing ,the sobbing turned into full blown crying ,he was crying on his friend's shoulder and mumbling things like - Sorry moony i ..i cant protect them ...i tried ...but he he betrayed us moony he told th dark lord their whereabouts and betrayed us ...i never betrayed them moony please ...please trust me moony ...i loved james ...like like a brother he was more a brother to me that regulus could ever be...please moony trust me ...please ...i am sorry moony please...

All the doubts in Remus' mind were cleared now, he was wrong to ever suspect sirius he has never seen his friend cry for merlins sake finally deciding that his friend has suffered enough he started planning on how to rescue sirius from the prison and how to know the complete truth of what happend he cant directly ask Sirius as he is is no condition right now to answer his questions he has to go now and visit him again and he can only hope that now that sirius knew he will come to rescue him he will be in a better shape thenext time Remus comes to visit him he turned to Sirius ans started talking to him

" Sirius calm down look i am here i know you are innocent and i will do whatever i can to free you i promise that ,but you have to trust me i have to go now but i promise i will return i promise you i will come back and in the meanwhile i will try to arrange a trial for you the new head of DMLE is amelia and you do remember how stern but kind and understanding she was ,she may be able to arrange the trial and i will ask dumbeldore to help me .." suddenly he felt Sirius tense and looked at him asking him what happened,

suddenly Sirius started shouting

"DUBLEDORE THAT OLD FUCKING COOT I AM GOING TO KILL HIM IF I EVER GET MY HANDS ON HIS NECK , REMUS YOU KNOW NOTHING HE ...HE IS THE ONE TO CAST THE FIDELIUS CHARM ON LILY AND JAMES HOME IN GODRIC' HOLLOW HE KNEW ALL THIS TIME THAT I AM INNOCENT BUT HE NEVER DID ANYTHING HE NEVER EVEN TOLD YOU .DO YOU STILL THINK HE IS TRUSTWORTHY REMUS ?

Hearing this Remus' s leg gave way and he fell down on the floor only one thought coming to his mind Dumbledore knew and he never did anything dumbledore casted the fidelius ,he knows who the real traitor is and never even told me .why ? why would he do something like that ? "

Finally he asked the dreaded question-" Sirius who was the secret keeper ?

Sirius again sat down beside his friend and whispered the name " it was peter , Albus thought that i am an obvious choice and so the dark lord would do anything to know the location and peter well he was the most unusual choice so we decided to do it secretely so that no one will know we were planning to tell you but you were always away on order business and peter went to the dark lord and told him the location "

Remus cant believe it peter betrayed them but he know that sirius will never lie to him ,so he accepted the truth and asked " Is that why you went after him after the attack on james and lily and killed him ? "

Sirius looked ashamed but spoke " yes and no when i went to see him at his home i found no one and there were no signs of any fight at his home everything was in perfect shape no dark mark looming above but still i got this feeling that something is not right so i went straight to godric ' hollow and when i arrived their the house is in ruins and Hagrid was carrying Harry out of the house i went to him and asked him to take Harry but he replied that dumbeldore had told him to take Harry to him and when he didn' t give me Harry i got angry and in my rage i stopped any rational thoughts after sometime i found the rat he was hiding in a muggle town i cornered him but he blew up the street and transformed into a rat and ran into the sewers but not before cutting his finger. i was so shocked that i started laughing."

Remus thought for.a second, if what Sirius is saying is true then that means that peter is still alive and living a free life after he betrayed his best friends and Sirius is here in azkaban even if he is innocent ,if he ever find that rat he is going to kill him that he promised himself .Sirius looked at his silent friend, he was now thinking that he was so wrong to ever doubt Remus ,during the war he thought that Remus is the spy and going to betray them to voldemort just because he is a warewolf he can never forgive himself for that but now that the war is over he can hope to see Harry again ...Harry ...oh my god i dont even know how he is zhow can i be so selfish

" Remus how is Harry ? Is he ok ? does he miss me ? or did he even remember me ?

is he living with you ? how tall is he ? does he like you ? please tell me about my cub Remus please i am dying to see him please how is he Remus ? "

.i dont know padfoot . that day when hagrid took harry from you dumbledore placed harry in someone else ' s care and no one knows where harry is, dumbledore doesn' t want anyone to contact harry hell he hasn't even told anyone where Harry is , i keep trying but he never tells me anything only that Harry is safe and is cared for ,so all i have is albus dumbeldore"s words that he is safe and happy but now i cant even trust him ,i dont know siri i dont know what he has done to our cub .i have no idea where our harry is or how he is ?"

They both sat their in silence finally sirius told Remus that he believes that dumbledore is planning something for his so called greater good and it involves Harry and he belives that dumbeldore will never allow the trial so he has no hope of ever leaving the cell legally and so he has to escape it and then go to harry to protect him ,Remus was shocked first but agreed after sometime and they started planning how Sirius is going to escape the cell and in rhe mean time Remus will try to find out about Harry ' location .
