They have planned the whole event about how Remus is going to help Sirius escape, now all Remus needs is to somehow find the location of Harry. He knew that Dumbledore would have placed harry in a home far off from the British ministry as he himself has said that harry needs to live away from his fame, so that can only mean that where ever Harry is he has no idea about his popularity or the cause of his parent's deaths so basically the whole population of pureblood witches and wizards is out of the question because if he was in any wizarding location someone might have seen him or someone could tell him about his parents.

This left only 2 options either any muggle-born witch/wizard has harry or any squib living in the muggle world has him, Remus knew that dumbledore has a lot of connections and Harry could be anywhere but he is still going to try and for that, he needs a plan. Remus knew that confronting Albus will be a fruitless action so he decided to try with Minerva he has a suspicion that Minnie knew where Harry is placed by Albus but trying to make her talk about this is not going to be easy so after some planning, he went to Minnie's home.

Minerva McGonagall lives in a house not far from the school, it is a small manor having 3 floors, on the ground floor is the hall the library and her personal study, the kitchens dining room and elf quarters, on the first floor, is the ballroom the glass garden and 2 guest rooms, the second-floor houses the family rooms, and the master bedroom. She was in her library when a house-elf popped in front of her, the elf bowed and informed her that Mr Remus Lupin has come to visit her, she is mildly surprised that Remus has come to visit her but started walking towards the hall nonetheless.

REMUS'S POV

I know I came here to talk to Minnie but now I am really nervous, she has always been a stern intelligent and smart woman, I don't think she will tell me anything,but there is no way to know without trying right? so I have to try at leas. I was lost in my musings when the doors opened and Minerva McGonagall walked in, we sat down on the couches facing each other and started talking after some time an elf brought tea, while we were drinking tea Minnie spoke up -

" Don't get me wrong, it is good to see you here Remus but I don't think you have come here to just have tea and talk to me about mundane things like the weather, I can tell that there is something troubling you and you do want to talk about it so what is wrong just tell me what is bothering you if there is anything or any way in which I can help you just tell me ."

Hearing this brought a smile to my face Minnie has always had a soft spot for me even in school she mostly ignored our pranks and usually avoided to give me detentions but right now I don't have an idea how to breach the topic so I decided to be blunt if she wishes to help me she will no point in delaying the inevitable-

" Minerva I want to meet Harry and I don't see anything bad happening because of it, I am not asking for custody or anything I just want to meet him and see that he is happy where ever he is, I have tried but Albus refuses to tell me his location, I have come to you in the hopes that you will help me, i ..."

"Remus stop right there you know I can't tell you anything Albus has his reasons and you should know that he will never let any harm befall harry "

"But minnie please just let me see him I promise I will see him from a distance I won't even talk to him if you don't want me too i ...i.. just want to see him, Minerva ..to ..believe that at least my cub is happy and safe and alive ...I can't forget lily and James face Minnie they trusted us, if. ..if anything happens to harry I won't be able to forget my self ever Minnie "

Seeing how desperate Remus is broke Minerva's heart she has trusted dumbledore in placing harry with his relatives and she does not want to cause any problems in harry's life but what harm can come if Remus visits Harry once or twice, she does not understand why Albus wants no one to ever contact Harry, won't it be wiser if someone informs Harry about his parents, his life and his magic? those muggles even if they are good and take good care of harry cant explain the accidental magical outbursts Harry must be having? The child could be scared of his own powers for all they know. the wards surely protect Harry against death eaters but what about other threats, no one has ever gone to see how to harry is what if he is not happy or what if those monstrous muggles don't treat him right .she was brought out of her thoughts by a sound of something dropping. when she looked around she was shocked by what she saw, Remus was on his knees crying

"Minnie I beg you please if you know the address just take me to him for once please Minnie if you want you can erase the memory of the location from my mind just let me see him please," begged Remus

Minerva cant think anymore Remus is begging her she can't see him like that but she can't betray Albus, she spoke up

"Remus I am sorry I can't do anything like that I promised Albus that I will keep the location a secret but what I can tell you is that Harry is with his family, the only family he has left I might add and is surely safe from death eaters I can't say anything else just that I don't completely agree with Albus's decision but I trust him to see for Harry's well being "

"But Minerva how can you be so sure? has anyone ever gone to check on Harry? did Albus ever inform you of his visits to see whether Harry is happy or not? did he even go to check on harry ?"Interjected a distraught Remus

Minerva finally composing herself and looking like the stern witch she is responded-

" Remus I don't think it is a good idea to ponder all these thoughts we have to trust Albus, there is nothing else we can do and besides its just a matter of a few years once Harry turns 11 he will come to attend Hogwarts and then we can all see him and you can spend as much time as you want with him ."

"I think you are right Minnie. I should be going now I don't think I will be able to converse any longer, goodbye Minnie " said Remus and left the hall and then the manor leaving a stunned witch wishing that once Remus is relaxed a bit he will understand her hints.

Once Remus left, he went straight home, he was angry he wasn't expecting Minerva to give him the address but she can at least once take him to see harry he even told her to remove the memory of the location but she won't listen, everyone blindly trusts Albus dumbledore and no one wants to go against him... Albus everything which happens has to involve him somehow why can't he keep his long nose out of other people's business with these thoughts he opened a bottle of firewhisky and started drinking directly from the bottle after a lot of frustrating anger filled moments he started crying and fall asleep on the couch .
