Some time later
After the group of three collected the teens necessary belongings for a stay at the station. As there are comforters and hygiene products already available for him to use he didnt bring them with him. What he brought with him are 3 set of clothes, underwear, his phone plus charger, his laptop and his notebooks. The notebooks as they contain information about peoples quirks are dangerous if a villian where to get their hands on them. Currently not knowing what to do with them, Izuku decides to bring them for safety with him and choose later. Knowing a suitcase was additionaly needed for his belongings Izuku searches his home for a suitcase. Remembering the suitcase his "father" left him when he was younger , he goes to the basement in hopes of finding it. Arriving at the basement Izuku makes a pleasent discovery. Stored in a cabinet which has a lock on it with the key already there are various firearms. While it would be dangerous to bring a weapon with him to the police station tze urge to grab them was there. Weighing down hsi option he decided to first find the suitcase and then decide. Fortunatly for him while most of the house is empty all the objects in the basement are still here. Under a lot of useless junk he not only found the suitcase he also found a silver metallic was a nice silver coloured one which reach up to his hips. Inside the suitcase are various hidden pockets for him to hide something inside, each of them large enough to hide anything a bit bigger than his hand. The briefcase on the other hand, while also beeing silver looked like one you would find only be used by rich businessmen. Opening it he found that the inside of the case was fitted so guns could be brought with someone without any problems. Looking back at the cabinet wth the guns he decided to take them with him. If the cops were to ask what he has inside he would just tell them its one of the things they decided to leave him. Figuring the cops, not wanting to push anymore whats inside would stop questioning it if he is beeing careful. Opening the lock and storing the weapon inside the briefcase. The four handguns, all Colt M1911, were neatly stored inside the presentet forms. Izuku decides thogh to take one gun with him in case he would need it as it proved itself quite useful against the sludge villian and might be a great tool of intimidation. As he still wears his school uniform he hides the gun safely in the pocket inside of the jacket. After going to his room the two cases in hand he packed everything he needs inside, not knowing if he need his belongings for school decided to ask the cops for further insight.
The cops see their current charge is coming down with two cases and and a questioning look on his face. Asking the boy if everything is allright, the boy revealed he has no idea if he should bring things for school with him to the station. They decided to ask about whats inside of the suitcase as they have no idea what it could be but would not press further if they notice he becomes uncomfortable with the questioning.
"No you dont need them. As you are staying at the police station for now till where you are going to live in the near future is solved you are excused from school so you can get familiar with your quirk and test out how it works for you. While we have the test results from the hospital, it only tells as what your quirk is but not how to use it. We can still offer suggestions or refer you to a quirk analyst who could help you. Before i forget, while you do not have to be at the station 24/7 you do need to tell us if you are going out and for what reason so we can send someone with you to act as a guardian in the meanwhile so if someone where to ask you would not be harrassed or stopped from testing your quirk. Truth is while we are in contact with several pro heroes and are able to tell them about you, we dont want to bring to much attention towards you at your current state. Maybe later on we can let some of the heroes in the known so they can help you or watch over you if we cant."
Satisfied with the answer Izuku tells the two that he were ready and relaxing at not been caught with the guns. After loading everything inside the cars trunk they group of three drive towards the station. On the way there Izuku looks out of the window still not knowing how to feel about the whole thing. From an ordinary morning of beeing humiliated, beaten and discriminated by everyone to having beeing abandoned and getting a quirk after beeing told he couldnt become a hero without a quirk by the number one hero himself. Wordlessly and with a tired face Izuku looks out f the window to distract himself with anything really just hoping he would not have to think about anything right now. After a short while they drive next to a with trash-filled beach. THe cops having gotten a call from the station where ordered to drive to the location of a emergency call. As it was very important and both cops are needed the two decided to ask if the boy would be alright to go to the station himself. After he agreed they drive at a very high speed towards the location of the emergency call but not before telling him they would get hs belongings to the station after the jobs done. Deciding to walk through the beach proved to be intersting as he noticed a girl was there looking through trash.
The girl has pink hair which seems to go into dreadlocks at the end. On top of her head just above the eyes are a pair of goggles which seemed to be gear punk style. Her clothes are that of an mechanic and are stained in soot and motor oil. On her back is a backback where coming out of it is a metallic arm picking up several pieces of metal from the ground and puts it in front of the girls face who seemed to inspect it before throwing it to her left to a pile of interesting looking parts or to the right to the massive pile of junk. The one thing Izuku notices the most are her eyes. Her golden eyes seems to capture him and he cant bring himself to look away. The girl noticing someone else was there looked at the blue haired teen looking at her. Not one to shy away from new people she gets closer to him. The boy still only looking at her eyes doesnt seem to notice her approach which puzzled her as normally she woud get a reaction yet from him she got none. Stepping in front of the boy who doesnt avert his eyes from hers she snaps her fingers in front of his face to get his attention. The boy jolted as he realized that the girl he was watching stands right in front of him with a confused look on her face. Izuku could feel his cheeks grow warmer as he was caught starring.
"Are you okay? You where just starring at me. Did you want to ask something? Or are you here for my babies?"
Shocked at the question of the girl Izukus face turned full on red. Not knowing what to say he can only stammer at the girl. The girl, seeing as the on in front of her is really speaking to her, she figured she could just show her babies to him. Maybe he would be able to talk easier then of he likes what he sees.
"Hi im Mei Hatsume. Do you like what you see? See the googles on my head? Thats baby number 291 and it connects to my brain to read the brainwaves to adjust the lenses to the setting i need. Its also connectet via a chip to the baby in my back which is baby number 517. This baby allows me to pick up anything weighting 125 kg and has a reach of 4 meter. Its resistent against shock, heat, water and cant rost. As long as the chip which allows me to move the arms however i want by my thoughts is not destroyed there is nothing to worry about. I check the programming every week to either correct mistakes or improve it for better performance."
Amazed by the technological advances the girl made the blush on his face reced to a pale red on the cheeks and cant help but want to talk more to the girl. Not only is she not reacting badly towards him but her enthusiasm is infecting.
"So not only is your devise connected to your brainwaves but it allows you to react in an instant, much faster than the human body is possible to move. But how are you protecting yourself from beeing influenced by your device? It seems to always move similar to a snake even if you are focused on something else and the arm is not supposed to be moving. It shows signs of sentience."
The girl is pleasently surprised. Not only did she found someone who not only looked at her weird but he also understands what she is saying. Till now only her parents, god bless them, understood her even if the are looking at her worried. Their worries about her beeing alone because they dont understand her seem unfounded as the boys interest is clear to her. The thing which bothered her though is what his question contains. If he speaks the truth and her baby is sentient that would mean that at any moment her own baby could influence or change her as she only built the chip to read he thoughts but not to protect her. Thinking back on it she recalls several moments where she blacked out and found herself in situation she has no idea how she got there as there would be memories missing. It would also explain why she seems angrier towards her parents whenever they tell her to put her baby away and lashed out. Filled with a sudden shock and fear Mei tries to put the backpack away from her and deactivate it but as the devise reads her thoughts via brainwaves it prevents her by using the arm to restrict her.
The boy, upon seeing the girls beeing restraint by her own devise jumps in to try and seperate it from the pink haired girl. Without knowing Izukus quirk responds to his desire and puts a lot of energy in the maschine. The more energy is beeing transfered the more Izuku notices his sanity or logical thinking dissapear. Rather soon the only thought through his head was that the girl in front of him is his to protect. Before long the device upon no longer beeing able to withstand the energy filling it ceased to funktion as the inner curcuit burned beyond repair. Lifelessly the metallic arm dropped onto the ground not giving a single twitch. The girl finally free from her own invention waisted no time in getting it off from her. Out of fear of it reactivating itself she destroyed the chip in the googles and the backpack by kicking them with th heel of her foot.
To Izuku the tearfilled look on the girls face ade him feel a lot of things. Ones he didnt have in a long time. Izuku feels a deep desire to love her but also a feeling to protect her from anything which seeks harm to her. Without thinking abbout it Izuku slowly stepped closer to Mei and brought her in a hug. One hand on her back and the other gently rubbing on her head, Mei couldnt hold the tears in anymore and clung to the Izuku and cried. For fifteen minutes Izuku consoled the girl in his arms simply by holding her and whispering sweet nothings in her ear.
"Are you feeling better Mei? If you want we can stay like this but i would need to contact the police of my whereabouts. If you want i could bring you home and stay for a while if you dont want to be alone right now."
"I... i would like that please? Because of the maschine i treated my family badly so i dont know how they will react to this. I am afraid they wouldnt believe me or just throw me out. Please help me... i...i dont know what to do anymore."
Feeling protective of her Izuku agreed without hesitation. With the phone in his pants he called the local police station regarding his arrival. While they were okay with him staying overnight at someones place, they would in case of an emergency know the adress and with who he is staying. Getting the needed information from Mei proved itself easily and soon after they oth arrived at a car mechanic.
