It'd been a few weeks since Mia had told the group the truth in the room of requirement and since then the group seemed to be very busy between studying for NEWTs, lessons, and general day-to-day things.

It was Friday night and as Mia was curled up on the sofa in the common room, nose deep in a book, James plopped down next to her "We need to borrow you for a bit" he told her giving her a gentle nudge.

Mia lifted her eyes from her book "Oh really… And what is it you need me for?" she asked curiously before looking around to see where the 'we' were but the common room was empty apart from her and James.

James grinned "I know you hate surprises but I can't tell you, you trust me right?" he said before standing and holding out his hand for her to take.

Mia pursed her lips "I suppose I do" she said slightly teasing although she really did hate surprises. Taking his hand she allowed him to help her up and didn't resist when he pulled her close to him "Is this your way of trying to put me at ease before taking me off to wherever you plan"

James laughed "Is it working?" he asked before placing a light kiss on her lips "Now come on witch before you distract me anymore with those lips of yours"

Mia laughed "Oh it's my fault you get distracted by my lips? I'll keep that in mind next time we're trying to focus on something"

James grinned "I enjoy being distracted by you" He told her before pulling her out of the common room and towards the room of requirement, without wasting any time he opened the door and pulled her in. The room was a lounge area with a potion station and loads of pieces of parchment all over the walls. She lifted her eyebrow and looked at James before turning to the group "Ok what's going on here, have you guys been studying without me?"

Sirius laughed "Really... You see this room and your first thought is we are studying without you" he shook his head but was still grinning with amusement.

James took hold of Mia's other hand, so he was holding both "So since the guys found out about where you were from they wanted to do something to show you how much you mean to them... To us all, so we've been working on a way to hide this" he said and ran his finger lightly over the 'mudblood' scar "We think we have found a way to disguise it, we're not 100% sure but we're at the stage where we need to see if it will work on the cursed scar" he paused "We didn't want to get your hopes up until we were confident"

Mia's mouth fell open "You guys... This is what you guys have been doing" she said in shock, she had the feeling they were up to something but she figured it was just a prank that they knew she wouldn't be interested in. She let James pull her to sit at the table and roll up her sleeve "It this doesn't work guys please know I am so grateful you have put so much effort into this, honestly I'm speechless"

James could tell she was nervous and that a big part of her didn't think that it was going to work. He was hoping that all their research and tests had paid off, with her being from a different time added more pressure because it's possible it would if she was in her own time.

He could feel himself overthinking but snapped out of it when he heard a soft bang on the table, Lily had brought over a small stone bowl.

Taking a breath he lifted a soft brush dipping it into the liquid in the bowl before gently applying it over Mia's arm trying to stop his hand from shaking. Once her arm was covered he lift his wand and quietly said "Intrago sollow"

Mia felt her arm warming up, she stared at her arm as the scar began to fade, looking up at the James and then glancing towards the group her mouth opened and closed a few times before she let out a soft "How?" she had tried everything she could think of to get rid of the scar but nothing touched it.

Lily stepped back towards the table "Sirius spoke with his brother, who was able to get a book we needed. Regulus also spoke with Severus although he did it in a hypothetic way and that gave us the final part of what we were missing"

Mia stood up and gave them all a hug one at a time, giving Sirius a bigger squeeze because she knew the relationship between him and his brother "Thank you Sirius" she whispered to him before moving back to James and wrapping her arms around his waist "You're all amazing. Truly" she said emotionally.

James kept a tight hold of Mia while speaking with the group "Now can you all get lost, Mia is probably ready to chill with a book before going back to the common room"

Sirius laughed as he walked towards the door "Uh-huh sure… Book my arse" he continued laughing as they all left out of the door.

Mia looked up at him "You are so amazing James Potter" smiling she took his hand and led him to the sofa, pushing on his chest to sit him down before straddling on his lap "I have a confession to make, I was going to wait until the weekend to talk to you about this but I think right now is perfect" she said and paused "I'm not sure how to say this in the right way but I am ready James, I am ready to be with you completely. Right here and right now" she said and bit her lower lip.

James looked up at Mia "If you want to stop at any point, you just say the word" he told her before leaning up and kissing her. He already knew she was a virgin and she had limited experience so he was happy to take the lead.

Sliding his hands under the long-sleeved top she was wearing, he moved his lips aware from hers and pulled it over her head and letting it fall to the floor before looking at her breasts "I love your bra" he grinned as he rolled his finger tips over the red lace "My favourite colour" he added and moved his hand behind her back unclipping the hooks and removing it off.
