Hi everyone, just a quick A/N to make up for the last chapter.

So in a quick response to a couple of reviews: 1- I am not writing my own comments (I'm not sure what would make you come to this conclusion), getting a notification to say someone has reviewed one of my stories is one of the best feelings in the world for me, and I can't describe how much I appreciate it. 2- I am very sorry for the long breaks between chapters, between what I am Carly sure is me having adhd and sometimes struggling with my mental health I really struggle with being motivated keeping up with things constantly. I can't honestly say that I will get better at writing consistently, because I probably won't, but I will never leave a story indefinitely. Also worth noting, probably on,y relevant in this chapter but I'm not sure yet, all of the medical terms and numbers may not be correct. I'm trying to use language I've heard on Chicago Med, but quite a bit of it if probably incorrect, so don't read to much into it. I really hope you enjoy this chapter and I may or may not have another one for you soon, I guess we'll just have to wait and see! :)

TW: Swearing

"In and out of consciousness but responds to painful stimuli. BP's 135/90, GCS 20, no head trauma from the fall and no medical history to indicate the reason for loss of consciousness."

"Transfer on my count, 1 2 3 lift, Thank you Courtney"

"Uggghhhhhh, God I hurts so fucking much,"

"I know sweetheart, we're gonna get you something for the pain in just a second. Hailey are you allergic to anything honey," Hailey's head was pounding as she tried to figure out the answer to Dr. Manning's question. Her vision was fuzzy looking round the small treatment bay at, Chicago Med? The pain in her stomach was so excruciating that she could feel herself dropping out of consciousness there and then.

"Hailey?"

"No, no I'm not, can you just stop it hurting, please!"

"Do you remember what happened honey, look at the light for me really quick," The bright white pen light shining in the young girls eyes was making her even more disoriented.

"I...I don't...what?"

"Too confused to be questioned, let's get her up for a CT, we'll talk later," She could hear Dr. Manning's voice buzzing in her ears but didn't really understand what she was saying. As the bed was wheeled away she caught sight on Kim watching her enter the elevator corridor but lost sight of her as they rounded the corner.

The next thing Hailey remembered was waking up in a much quieter area of the hospital, she thought a private room. Her vision was a bit better and she could now bring things into focus, then saw Dr. Manning standing in the doorway smiling at her.

"How you feeling? You gave us all quite a freight girl!"

"My head still feels like it's spinning to be honest,"

"Yeah that'll be the pain meds hun, pain in the ass but it's better than the alternative,"

"What happened? In remember being in the bathrooms with Kim, but then my memory's blank,"

"You passed out, combination of high blood pressure and just extreme pain,"

"Why though, I've never passed out before, why now?" Hailey was remembering how when she was a little kid, her Mom used to pass out from the stress of dealing with her Dad, then remembered how she was feeling last night. She was really hoping that last night didn't come up.

"Probably just hormone changes, it's not uncommon at this stage, but it is something to monitor in the next 6 weeks or so,"

"Hormone changes what do you mean? Like my period?"

"Hailey honey, you know you're pregnant right?"
