Moving to Chapter 2 of the Milo version of Sharper's 'A New Redheaded Cheerleader!' I might do a Milo version 'Mad Dogs & Tigers' too...but be advised that it will be a major league challenge if I try it because Sharper's writings are so detailed and fleshed out beyond my comprehension. Oh, by the way, Rebecca Starlet does make her debut here. For those of you who haven't read the original (in that case, go back and read that first), she is the OC of the original author, Sharper The Writer. Sharper, I can not thank you enough for guiding me on this endeavor. So, in the words of Jaden Yuki...here goes something!
Melissa Sabrina Chase was in her room, painted in LA Dodgers blue, plastered with pictures of Dodgers stars Clayton Kershaw, Joc Pederson and Justin Turner, alongside Taylor Swift gear as far as the eye could see. On her dresser, makeup and perfume was laid out alongside her hair straightener/crimper and curlers. She was on her bed, crying her eyes out as she thought about her worst nightmare - her childhood best friend (now boyfriend) Milo Murphy, plastered and taken advantage of by the blonde dictator of a cheerleader (and foul-mouthed heiress) Veruca Salt.
"Not him...not my Milo!" she sobbed, holding her Pikachu plushie and listening to Taylor Swift's 'Teardrops on My Guitar'. "Milo and I have been best friends since Pre-K...we just started dating! All of that...gone in a snap all because of that dumb blonde hellspawn of the devil Veruca Salt!" Her tears flowed like the famous fountains of Kaufman Stadium - one of the 14 Major League Baseball stadiums that Melissa has been to - as she covered her face with her pillow. She did not want anyone to see her mascara running. "Pikachu...Taylor...you're the only ones that get what I'm going through right now. Milo's the reason for the Teardrops on My Guitar; the only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star..."
Pepper then came into her daughter's room with a concerned look. Her husband Richard followed closely behind. They hated seeing their straight A daughter like this, for this was way worse then when Milo and Zack were nearly crushed during The Woodpecker Incident. Richard then knocked on the door. "Melissa? You in here, honey?"
"You and mom are already in the room, dad..." Melissa snapped.
"Melissa, we love you and nothing will ever change that...you're our little spark..." her mother said, giving a sigh as she sat next to her on one side of the bed. Her dad took to the other side.
"We know you want to be a Middleton High cheerleader and we know you're adamant about this," Mr. Chase said to Melissa. "We also know that when you set your mind to something, you do whatever you can to make sure you accomplish that."
"We just question it because of Veruca's antics..." her mom finished.
"How, mom and dad?" Melissa sobbed, still clutching her Pikachu plushie.
"It's because of Veruca's inner circle that we question it and quite rarely do we question your decision making, Melissa," Mr. Chase explained to his daughter, only to get an eyeroll from his wife.
"Really, honey? You did kinda question Melissa's first choice of boyfriend."
"Well, that's because we all expected her to end up with Milo, but that's beside the point. Melissa, perhaps not all Middleton cheerleaders are bad."
"What do you mean, mom and dad?"
"I just heard from your Aunt Linda. Your cousin Candace also wants to be a Middleton High cheerleader. Now we're heading to a Civil War re-enactment with the Flynn-Fletchers in Vicksburg tomorrow and your Aunt Linda's called in a certain cheerleading teen hero that could help out the cause for both you and cousin Candace..." Pepper said while trying to lighten up the situation Melissa was in. Melissa perked up at hearing her mom saying 'cheerleading teen hero'.
"You don't mean Kim Possible, do you?"
"We do, sweetheart," Richard confirmed. Melissa finally gave a smile.
"I finally get to meet my idol...I FINALLY GET TO MEET KIMBERLY ANN POSSIBLE!" Melissa celebrated, pecking her parents on the cheek. "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I better call Milo, Zack and Amanda, like, right now!" Melissa rushed downstairs to call her friends before stopping short. "By the way, what time does that Civil War thing start?"
"10 AM, Melissa," Richard said.
"So you gotta get up by 7 tomorrow. You got it?" Pepper asked of her daughter, knowing that she and her husband would have a long drive ahead of them after they drop Melissa, Milo, Zack and Amanda off at the Flynn-Fletchers.
"Got it, mom! Thanks!"
As Melissa ran down to call up her friends...and Milo's fangirl of a sister who's already a Middleton High cheerleader, we now cut to Bueno Nacho #582 just west of Danville in the aforementioned town of Middleton. This is the prime hangout for most of Middleton High, except for a certain group of cheerleaders known as the MMP - the Mean Middleton Posse.
Kimberly Ann Possible and her childhood best friend/partner in crime fighting, Ronald Dean Stoppable were having a late lunch as they were just getting back from a mission in Italy and had to change out of their Club Banana mission gear. Rufus, their cute naked mole rat, dived head first into the platter of Nacos - Ron's signature creation. He still gets royalties from them, but they're kept in separate bank accounts that Ron can't get into until he's 21 as his parents don't trust him with all that money following the debacle with Shego.
"Ya know, KP...Nacos are always great in the summer!" Ron smiled as he picked up one of the nacos from the platter and ate it.
"Indeed, Ron!" Kim grinned. "Especially after blowing up another one of Drakken's lairs and foiling his plot to use Italy's largest diamond as the main power source for his doomsday blaster. Luckily, it's back where it belongs and Drakken's on a one way trip back to Cell Block D at Middleton Penitentiary! So not the drama!" She then took out her Kimmunicator, her vPhone 4, her vPad 3 and her vPod Touch.
Ron swallowed part of his Naco and looked at his best friend's array of gadgets. "Wow, Kimula! You sure are loaded when it comes to tech!"
"Ron, I always have to be prepared if I ever get called out for a mission, download the latest vPad app, snap up the latest Taylor Swift music or, even more important, get that call from Monique about the latest fashions from Club Banana!" Kim said, enlightening Ron of her array of gadgets. She then put her vPad, vPod and Kimmunicator away, but left her phone out just in case.
Then, she saw a red VW Beetle pull up into the Bueno Nacho parking lot. Kim smiled, knowing that there was but one girl she knew that drove a Beetle...MONIQUE! As always, Monique was in her signature red dress, coming through the double doors as Kim rushed to her.
"Hey, Mon!" Kim greeted, smiling along the way.
"Hey, girlfriend!" Monique shouted back with a grin. "I just found the hottest bikini around at Club Banana! ON SALE, NO LESS!"
"Do tell, Monique!" Kim smiled, looking to where Ron and Rufus were sitting. "Race ya to the table!"
"Oh, you are so on!" Monique grinned back as the duo raced as fast as they could to where Ron and Rufus were. Ron saw his 2 female friends charging towards him and Rufus and his eyes widened in fear.
"Rufus...CRAZED GIRLS INCOMING!" Ron exclaimed, snapping Rufus up from the table and putting him back into his pants pocket as Kim and Monique got to the table at the same time.
"JINX! You owe me a soda!" Monique cheered, smirking in her moment of triumph.
"Aw, SWIFT!" Kim said, snapping her fingers and uttering the name of most of Middleton's, if not the world's most popular female singer, in frustration. Kim then grinned and pulled out her wallet. "You got me this time, Monique. A soda it is." Kim then left the table briefly.
Monique then turned to Ron, who was still in a panic after seeing his 2 female friends race. "Ron, coast is clear. You can bring Rufus out now."
Ron gave a sigh of relief as he brought Rufus back out to resume eating the Naco platter. "You girls had me scared there..."
The self-proclaimed fashion expert of Middleton giggled "Oh Ron, I can see why Kim really likes you..." She then turned to Ron and to a topic that had been buzzing all around the town of around 45,000+ as of late. "So what's this about you and the football team, Ron?"
Kim returned to the table with the soda and sat down alongside Monique. She then gave the news "Ron's now a running back for the Middleton Mad Dogs football team!"
Monique's eyes widened in surprise and, turning away from Kim and Ron for a moment, the fashionista spat her soda out onto the floor. "SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! Don't you dare play me, Kim!"
"I kid you not, Monique!" Kim confirmed.
Monique put the soda cup back on the table and turned to Kim and Ron with a surprised smile now on her face. "This is incredible news, girlfriend!"
Meanwhile, Andrew 'Ned' Nelson, who has served as the assistant manager of the Bueno Nacho in Middleton (the clip-on tie gives him away) saw the incident with Monique's soda and believed it to be another Ron Stoppable antic. "Ron, you lovable dork...what did you get yourself into this time?" He asked himself before getting onto the intercom and declaring "Cleanup - table 7..."
Ron smiled, beaming with pride at his latest accomplishment. "It's true, ladies! Yours truly is now a running back for the..." he jumped onto the table, loud and proud. "...MIDDLETON MAD DOGS!" Unfortunately, the tabletop announcement resulted in the contents of his Naco being splattered around the window. "Well...that's the last time I do tabletop announcements," he said, getting off the table.
Once again, Ned saw the incident, this time he knew it was Ron. "Oh, Ron...you and Kim are my favorites, but sometimes you worry me with your antics..." he said to himself in his customary nasally tone. At the table, Kim laughed nervously and said "Hey, Monique, why don't you, me, Ron and Rufus move to another table?" She then pointed to a table at the end of the restaurant, picking up her purse, Kimmunicator and vPhone 4.
"Okay, KP." Ron sighed and picked up his Naco platter only to find out...
"Aw, man! I think Rufus just went on the attack again," Ron pointed out. Sure enough, the contents of the Nacos were missing and there was Rufus, the perpetrator of the theft.
"Rufus, that's the 8th time this month you've pulled off such a heist!" Kim called out.
"So I better get some more Nacos. You girls want anything?"
"I guess a salad for me, Ron," Monique said.
"And a peach iced tea for me. Had enough Naco-ventures for one day."
"Got it!" Ron said, smiling as he left the two girls alone.
Monique then turned to her best friend and began "So where'd we leave off before Ron bungled his own football announcement?"
"Hmm...that pink bikini at Club Banana!" Kim picked up the topic at hand, hers and Monique's strong suit of fashion.
"Oh yeah, girlfriend! That is gonna look ab-fab on you! Absolutely fabulous! Add a tank top and some Dale Earnhardt Jr. style Wrangler shorts, it'll be the HTOS!" Monique smiled.
"HTOS?"
"Hottest trend of the summer, girl! And it's on sale THIS WEEKEND!"
"Nice!" Kim replied with interest. "Anything would be better than that no-good Veruca's Law."
"Man, now that's just wrong! You were only trying to help save the football team and you end up getting cuffed for it because of that blonde hellspawn heiress...I'm glad the charges were voided out by Officer Hobble!" Monique remarked, remembering Kim's brief moment of incarceration at the hands of Veruca Darling Salt (who really doesn't live up to her middle name).
"I love that that nasty, scheming, cruel cheerleader is locked up tight as a drum in juvenile hall, probably thinking about when she'll eat her next helping of slop!" Kim laughed at the sight of her cheerleading foe being reduced to nothing but prison food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She felt like she had finally pulled one over on Veruca.
All of a sudden, an all-too-familiar pink Lincoln Navigator limousine pulled up. Not only that, but cars containing paparazzi were also seen outside the restaurant windows. A few familiar girls came out of the limo wearing spectacular pink dresses from the Country Club Banana flagship store in the World's Ritziest Mall wearing enough gold necklaces, bracelets and jewelry that they could blind anyone in the hot summer sun. They also wore something else the ginger teen hero noticed - angry looks on their faces.
"Oh crudmonkeys...it's her, Monique. The second worst cheerleader on the squad next to Veruca..." Kim groaned as she pointed at the group of girls that appeared to make a living out of making life miserable for the cheerleaders that support Kim.
Monique looked and sneered "Veruca's right-hand stooge. None other than..."
"REBECCA STARLET!"
Rebecca Starlet came in with 4 other Mad Dog cheerleaders - Sandi Griffin, Carmelita Spats, Devilla Jones and Kate Sanders. Per usual, Rebecca was wearing the more expensive clothing and jewels, diamond bracelets and silver bangles. The pink Country Club Banana dress she was wearing with the purple belt shined as bright as the summer sun. Her dad was an oil magnate on the level of J.R. Ewing while her mom was an attorney as corrupt as the US government.
Alongside her were four servants that literally rolled out the red carpet for her. She snapped her fingers and about 10 photographers came in.
"I want the magazines to capture all of our attention and not the attention of that no-good red-head Kim Possible that I hate with a burning passion!" Rebecca exclaimed with a mean, haughty look as the photographers continued to take pictures of her and the other mean girls.
She snapped her fingers again and the photographers left in the black sedans, departing the premises.
Rebecca waltzed in with Sandi, Carm, Devilla and Kate right up to the booth where Kim and Monique were at.
Kim dreaded the simultaneous clicking of the heels coming towards her. She knew the kind of trouble the girls were capable of pulling.
"Well now...if it isn't the so-called teen hero that sent my dear best friend Veruca to the slammer. Why don't you take her place instead, you ass-hat redhead slime-bucket?" Rebecca sneered with a snobbish look.
Kim snapped back at Rebecca. "She was breaking the law by having alcohol in her possession, Rebecca Taylor Starlet! Last I check, the legal age for alcohol anywhere in the US is 21! Veruca is well below that!"
"So what?" The extremely affluent and snobby Rebecca scoffed. "I may not be as rich as Veruca, but I look up to her and what is so criminal as that, Kimberly Ann?"
"What's criminal about it is that her actions have continuously threatened the integrity of the Middleton Mad Dog cheer squad, something that I care deeply about. My mom was a Middleton cheerleader, as were both of my grandmas before her. Veruca is clearly 17 when she was charged with that DUI!" Kim shouted back. "I sound like a broken Diana Ross record at times and it clearly hasn't gotten through your thick, perverted, snobbish skull of yours that Veruca Darling Salt clearly doesn't live up to her middle name! She is a lying, cheating blonde hellspawn witch of a girl! She has proven time and again that she's a lousy criminal and she deserves what's coming to her!"
Rebecca seemed unfazed by Kim's tirade and gave a palace malice smile "Oh, KA...I look up to Veruca because she always throws the most posh and lavish parties around...and you're not invited to them! Oh, you could've come but then you'd have to surrender your free will to Veruca..."
Kim interrupted, gritting her teeth. "So...not...happening, you witch! I'm never going to that horrible place. I know what sorts of atrocities go on there! In fact, I have half a mind to call Veruca a terrorist!"
Monique added in, folding her arms with an angry look on her face. "Need I mention that incident when your servants cruised through our neighborhood with their loud music blaring at 3 AM? Ya know, Kim's not the only one you've tormented!"
"Oh, please...they were just trying to blow off some steam..." Rebecca scoffed with a smirk, thinking her grades would put an end to it.
"I think not!" Monique refuted the claim, knowing Rebecca was lying. Just then, a teal-eyed brunette cheerleader stood up and joined Kim and Monique, revealing herself to be Bonnie Rockwaller.
"Do I even need to mention the atrocities you and Veruca have committed against MY family?" Bonnie sneered.
"Whatever!" Rebecca mocked, feeling a buzz in her pocket. It was her diamond-encrusted Blueberry, sending her a news update. She then turned back to Kim. "Now...ah, yes...Veruca. You know she's being transported to juvenile hall today..."
Her face turned to a wicked, Shego-like smirk.
"Uh, yeah. Why?" Kim asked, raising and arching her eyebrow much like Phil Keoghan would do on one of her favorite TV shows - 'The Amazing Race'.
Ron came back with the salad and nacos, noticing the conversation going on. He immediately recognized the cheerleaders that came in, especially Rebecca.
"Rebecca Starlet..." Ron sneered with a serious voice as he put down the tray with Monique's salad and his nacos. "YOU'RE THE ONE THAT RUINED MY MAD DOG!"
The much despised oil heiress gave a wicked laugh. "And I enjoyed every single minute of it!"
"I will never forgive you or Veruca for what you did..." Ron swore as Rufus came out of his pocket. Rufus saw Rebecca and growled menacingly.
Kim looked at this and said "See? Even Ron, Rufus, Monique and Bonnie don't like you, R!"
Ron smiled, looking at Bonnie. "Thanks, Bonnie..."
"No big, Ron! If Rebecca and her cronies step out of line...let's just say Kim and I will be waiting with the most powerful monster our decks can produce."
"You don't mean..."
Bonnie nodded at Ron. "Yes, Ron...Dragon Master Knight."
Ron smiled, knowing full well that anyone who dared to trifle with Kim and Bonnie were all but destined to be demolished by their Dragon Master Knight, which just so happens to be Rebecca and Veruca's greatest fear.
Rebecca growled then it disappeared back into the Shego-like smirk. "We're, like so getting off topic here, Kimberly Ann. Anyway, there's coverage of Veruca's transfer to jail on Channel 5." She then turned to Ned. "Ned, honey, please turn the TV to 5..." she said, winking and blowing a kiss at Ned. "...and don't get any ideas about asking me out. Despite your inherent cuteness...I'm a little out of your league."
"Really, let's see it!" Kim grinned as Ned turned to Channel 5, hopeful that she'd see a defeated Veruca crying her eyes out when handcuffed in a cramped police interceptor. She took a sip of her peach iced tea, anticipating a humbled and dejected Veruca. But what she saw...was the same old Veruca instructing her servants to carry some of her belongings - jewelry, her perfumes - to where she'll be going next. All of which is being stored into a few limos.
On came Summer Gale through her microphone "You're looking live at Salt Mansion in West Middleton as peanut heiress and now convicted felon Veruca Salt is preparing for her transfer to jail. Summer Gale reporting here today as it seems that Ms. Salt is being allowed to carry some of her selected perfumes and the jail is reported to furnish her cell with a gold bed, Oriental carpeting and rare paintings from Europe. Plus, she will be served the finest cuisine from Chez Couteaux! Not only that, but it's being reported that she'll be allowed to wear her famous mink coats whenever she wants!"
Kim was in shock and disbelief at hearing the words uttered by Summer Gale. Monique's jaw dropped. Rufus rubbed his little mole rat eyes in disbelief. Ron just turned to Bonnie and said "Bonnie...get that Dragon Master Knight ready."
"On it, Ron!" Bonnie said, pulling her KaibaCorp Duel Disk 2 from her backpack, strapping it on her right wrist and activating it before pulling out her ultra rare Dragon Master Knight card, ready to spring it on Rebecca and her cronies.
On TV, Summer Gale approached Veruca for an exclusive interview. "Veruca, what's it like moving from Salt Mansion to being incarcerated?" She then gave the microphone to Veruca.
"Well, Summer, it's like moving from Mar-A-Lago to Trump Tower - trading one penthouse for another. I'm never giving up my lifestyle!" Veruca answered through the microphone with a smile and the famous batting of her eyelashes. "And I do believe there is justice for all in this great land of ours that we call America."
Summer Gale picked up the microphone and reported "There you have it...justice for all. I'm Summer Gale and this is...VERUCA WATCH!"
Upon hearing the news, the people jeered loudly at seeing Veruca on TV. Rebecca on the other hand, flashed a diabolical, Shego-like smile as she turned towards Kim, not knowing that Bonnie had already played her Dragon Master Knight card.
"What now, KA? How's that justice system working for you, so-called teen hero?"
Kim angrily glared at Rebecca and shouted to the whole crowd. "All Veruca did was manipulate the justice system to her will, Starlet!"
"Exactly," Rebecca smirked. "Face it...you can't defeat the Mean Middleton Posse unless you take out both Veruca and me..." Rebecca taunted. "Oh by the way...the girls and I have a little cheer for you..."
But they'd never get to preform it as Ron gave a thumbs up at Bonnie...that was the signal.
"Let me stop you right there, Starlet!" Bonnie called out as she stepped in to intercept the mean girls, brandishing her Duel Disk with her Dragon Master Knight already on it. "I summon...THE DRAGON MASTER KNIGHT!"
On that call, a Black Luster Soldier riding a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon appeared behind Bonnie. This was hers and Kim's best combo and Rebecca and Veruca's greatest fear - the Dragon Master Knight.
Seeing the Dragon Master Knight face to face made Rebecca shudder in fear...and Rebecca's fear was Kim's joy. "No! Not that! NOT THE DRAGON MASTER KNIGHT!"
"Allow me to reintroduce your most feared monster, Starlet..." Bonnie sneered. "Now, unless you want to feel its wrath and have you and your cronies get blasted to bits, I suggest you leave us all alone..." the brunette growled at Rebecca.
"This is what you get for messing with the Middleton Mad Dog, you skanks!" Ron chimed in, joining Bonnie.
"And rest assured, Starlet...we will expose you for the frauds you truly are and put you all behind bars...in REGULAR JAIL!" Kim sneered at Rebecca.
Rebecca was too paralyzed with fear at seeing the one monster she could never defeat staring her right in the eye, ready to blast her and her cronies to bits.
"Uh, Rebecca...maybe we should get going..." Devilla said to Rebecca. "I do not like the look on that dragon's face!"
"Neither do I! That triple-headed terror is not a customer I want to mess with!" Carm chimed in.
"Yeah, like, looks like that Dragon Master Knight of Rockwaller's, like, means business!" Kate exclaimed.
Still in a state of shock, Rebecca checked her phone for the current time. "Uh...let's get going, girls. Got a mani-pedi at the resort downtown...far away from that three-headed monstrosity of Rockwaller's!"
Kim growled as the 4 girls left the restaurant and their servants rolled up the red carpet for them. They then exited the building and the limo drove off.
"Well...that was unexpected," Monique sarcastically remarked as she began to eat her salad. "I wonder what that idiot has in that thick skull of hers..."
"Don't know and don't care!" Bonnie exclaimed.
"Certainly not a brain, that's for sure!" Kim added in. "Thanks for the assist back there, Bonnie!"
"Don't mention it, K! Nothing like scaring the panties off those mean girls with Dragon Master Knight!" Bonnie said gleefully. "Speaking of which...Dragon Master Knight, return to my deck! We might need you later!" the brunette called out, calling her knight back to her deck and turning off her Duel Disk. They were about to get back to the topic of fashion when Kim's vPhone rang. She picked it up to hear Mrs. Flynn-Fletcher on the other end. After hearing Mrs. Flynn-Fletcher's situation with her daughter Candace as well as her two boys Phineas and Ferb, Kim turned to her friends.
"Ron, Monique, Bonnie...any of you guys up for getting up at 6:30 tomorrow morning?" Kim asked.
"What for, K?" Bonnie asked.
"Let's just say...major mission sitch."
"KP, Rufus and I are gonna be up bright and early for that time! Right, buddy?" Ron insisted, nodding his head. Rufus, on the other hand, wasn't amused.
"Make that 3 of us...counting little Rufus...no way I'm letting you dive into this sitch as the only Middleton High cheerleader!" Bonnie exclaimed.
"Aw, man! Gotta work the morning shift at CB tomorrow...which I hate with a burning passion as I'm not so much of a morning person in the summer as I was when we were kids. Thanks for offering, though, Kim," Monique said in declining the offer.
"Okay, so Ron and Bonnie are coming with me...this is gonna be good!" she said to herself as she picked the phone back up. "Mrs. Flynn-Fletcher, 2 of my friends are going along with me early in the morning..."
Mrs. Flynn-Fletcher replied to this. "Gotcha, Kim! Anyway, I'm off to do the grocery shopping. I'll see you bright and early at 6:30 tomorrow morning!"
"Please and thank you, Mrs. Flynn-Fletcher!" Kim said cheerfully as she put her phone away for now.
Chapter 2's done! Chapter 3...I think we'll catch up with Melissa and cousin Candace, maybe check in with Drakken and Shego too. SEE YA THEN!
