~Ghost Zone~
"Look guys, it's just a drop-off. I think me and Dani can handle that." Danny spoke into his Fenton phones as he and his little clone were flying through the ghost zone.
{you can't really blame us, can you? You two are flying through the home of many of your enemies. What if Skulker wants to have your pelt again?} Sam spoke from her side of the line.
"Sam I know how to avoid the realms of my biggest enemies. Besides, Skulker should still be fixing up his suit from the last time he tried to attack me."
{he's got a point. It was only yesterday that he came and tried.}
Dani flew up to be next to Danny as she spoke up "yeah and the little blob is no match for us." she giggled when she remembered seeing what Skulker really looked like when Danny kicked off the suit's head.
Both human friends decided to accept the little tidbit that the little girl brought up and Sam asked a question they both had {so Danny, any idea on what the fruitloop had planned with the map this time?}
Danny brought up his other hand which held on to the infinity Map that Vlad had stolen again from the Far Frozen. "No idea but I'm glad that he was careless this time. If Dani hadn't been home and sensed him leaving our portal he would have most likely used it for whatever he wanted. I'm also impressed that she was able to drag the fight long enough for me to arrive and we could take him down."
Dani blushed at the small bit of praise "thanks, daddy."
Danny floated by her and gave her a hug before patting her head as they kept flying.
A while ago Dani had been conflicted with how she saw Danny and she spent a good amount of time thinking about it. After she thought about how Dany was protective of her and how they were genetically linked she soon began to see him less as a cousin and more as a father. After she came to this revelation, she flew to Amity park in order to find Danny and talk to him about it. Unfortunately, when she arrived, she was confronted by the GIW. After trying to get away from them, she was caught in a net by them and in a last desperate act she called out for Danny but instead of saying Dany she ended up saying "Daddy". As if summoned, Danny flew in and took care of the agents that surrounded her and as a warning to the government agents, he shouted out "DON'T YOU DARE HURT MY DAUGHTER!" after he dealt with the agents, he took Dani and flew away. After that, they talked and both came to the same conclusion. Ani saw Danny as her Daddy and Danny saw Dani as his daughter.
Danny and his friends tried to think of a way to keep Dani from leaving and giving her a place to call home. After some arguments and fierce discussions, they decide that Dani would stay at Danny's place and use his bed as her own. They had succeeded in keeping her a secret from Maddie and Jack with the help of Jazz and tweaking the security system to ignore Dani's Ecto signature the same way it would for Danny. They knew that it wasn't a very well thought plan since it was still extremely risky but they didn't have many options. It did help that Danny had learned to duplicate himself. He can make one clone by using a big chunk of his energy so his clone would be with Dani during the time that Danny was at school. It was thanks to her being on the couch watching tv when Plasmius came out and she saw him phase through the ceiling.
Right now they were on their way to the far frozen to return the map to Frostbite. Sam and Tucker weren't around when it happened and only just now got into contact with him when he was already in the ghost zone. Danny would have waited but the sooner they get the map back, the better. "Anyway guys, I'll talk to you when we get back."
{alright dude. Talk to ya later.}
{ *sigh* fin but you two better be careful out there.}
Dani smiled as she spoke up "bye guys." Once she heard that they hung up, Dani flew next to Danny as she looked at the map "what's so important about this piece of paper?"
Danny brought it up so Dani could see it more clearly "this is the Infinity map. It's a powerful ghost artifact that has the power to take you wherever or whenever you want to go. FrostBite told me that the map has a sort of consciousness of its own and sometimes doesn't really take you where you want to go but where you need to go."
Dani grew confused at that last part "how does it know where you need to be?"
Danny shrugged his shoulders "dunno. I think the only one that could answer that would be Clockwork….or whatever ghost made this thing."
Dani moved her head closer to the map as she examined it. "Couldn't it just take us to the far frozen? That is where it needs to go right."
Danny shrugged as he stopped flying for a bit "it doesn't work that way. Actually I don't really know how it works really but it's better to just fly it back. We don't want it taking us somewhere we don't know."
As if responding the map began to glow in Danny's hand
"Uh oh!" Danny began to panic as he felt like letting go of it so it wouldn't drag him wherever but he knew that was a very bad idea as he would have no clue where it would end up and it shouldn't get into anyone's hands.
Dani was also beginning to panic as she saw the map glow "Daddy!"
Danny now held onto the map with both hands as he felt it begin to move "not good."
Dani, on pure instinct, wrapped her arms around Danny's waist and held on tight
Suddenly the two Halfas were dragged away in a random direction.
Both of them screamed as they were going far faster than either of them have ever flown
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH"
The father and daughter duo looked ahead of the direction they were flying to see a portal open up right before they were pulled through it.
As they were going through the portal, flashes of random things pass them.
A large red S inside a diamond shape
A large tower that looked to be in the shape of a T
A black, grey, and green circular object with the green part in the shape of an hourglass
A pearl-like jewel that suddenly shattered into pieces
A white mask that had red claw mark pattern on one side
A red gauntlet that had a green orb on the back of the hand part
A bat-shaped blade that looked the size of a pocket knife
A Large Key that looked like it was the length of a sword
A necklace that had a pink jewel that looked like something you would find in a fantasy world
A compact that had a diamond inside it
And then a set of different colored jewels that were each shaped differently. A diamond, a butterfly, an apple, a balloon a lightning bolt, and a Star.
All these things flew past them as they flew through the portal. Soon they saw the end and shut their eyes from the blinding white light.

Danny and Dani groaned as they got up and tried to regain their eyesight.
Dani shook her head, trying to get the stars out of her eyes and trying to get the blur out of her eyes as she saw the black and white outline of Danny "Daddy? Where are we?"
Danny groaned as he sat up and slowly tried to get his eyesight back. He looked around and even though it was all a blur he could tell that they were no longer in the ghost zone. "I don't know."

I made this because in all the crossovers that I have read, not once have I found the infinity map used to travel to other worlds. It's usually something terrible happens and Danny gets a second chance at life with the help of Clockwork. I wanted to make a new way for Danny to go somewhere else whether it was a different world or time or all that.
I also added the father-daughter aspect with Danny and Dani because I love that fanon and never have I seen Dani join Danny in one of these adventures. Sure she might pop up later but why not have her at the start. I used some liberties on the Danny Dani father-daughter aspect since a lot of them start out with the Dani being chased by the guys in white scene. I won't say which story since they all almost start the same way.
The things that they saw while going through the portal were things I chose from Danny phantom crossovers that I have read that were really entertaining. A few were chosen as I looked at the list of different crossovers that I saw in the search section.
I'm hoping that maybe one of you readers/writers might use this as a way to make a crossover without the whole tragic aspect to many of the ones I've read. I might make another DP crossover at one point using one of the worlds I referenced here.
