Chapter 7: The breakout

That same day, Hikui and Kleptofix were brought to the police station of Baram Town, and the first thing Kleptofix did as they arrived was to tell the police officers about his deal with Team Yellow. They either did not care or did not believe him, either way the Nickit protested so hard the officers where forced to shock him into submission. Hikui thought that was very funny.

After being striped from the few things he was still carrying with him, naming his fabric belt and his golden pipe, Hikui and Kleptofix where separated and he was brought into a dark place of the station, the interrogation room. The self declared king of thieves was caught, but still nobody knew where his hideout was as well as the stolen money and goods. Hikui told them about his former partner and that she would probably use it from now on and maybe they could get the answer out of her, but not him. He hated Valdis for her betrayal, but he would have hated it more to lose his treasures for good, and that is what he told the officers and nothing more.

When a Pokémon was arrested for committing a crime, it had the right to object in court, but most crime were obvious so that part was mostly skipped and the sentence was directly executed. Some could argue about it being unfair, but that's just how it went. Hikui himself admitted his deeds with pride.

He was sentenced to ten year in prison for multiple cases thievery over the past three years and for not cooperating during the interrogation. Hikui did not intend the least to actually serve that sentence, he just needed to find out how to.

The Meowth was shortly after escorted down into the prison track of the police station by three Magnemite. It was like a long corridor lightened by torched on the walls with many metal doors left and right with only a little window for each. They all differed in sizes depending on the size of the Pokémon. Most Pokémon living in and around Baram Town were not taller than four feet, so most cells were build in these and smaller sizes.

Knocking and shouting could be heard from various cells, some demanding to be let out or just simply letting out their rage towards the officers, while others glared at the Meowth with intersting eyes though the small holes where one could look inside the cell, or outisde, without the need to open the door.

"THIS ONE.", one of the Magnemite said. They stood at one of the smaller sized door.

While Hikui was still kept close by a second Magnemite, a third one opened the door using his magnet. There was some kind of magnetic system within the door, something Hikui would not understand. The moment the door opened, a light red arm suddenly stretched out and whoever it belonged too snarled like a wild beast. Hikui was shocked. With how are they going go keep him with?! The first Magnemite stepped between his partner and gave Hikui's soon to be prison mate an electric shock and made it quite and calm again. Then, without further comment, Hikui was pushed inside.

"Enjoy your stay!", one of the Magnemite called out to him and then they quickly closed the door behind him again.

As the Meowth was laying on the ground and was about to look up, he spotted something quickly flying above him and slamming against the metal door. Whatever it was, Hikui was most likely in danger, so he rushed over to the other side of the cell and against the wall.

The other Pokémon began scratching the door in anger and desperation. It was a Gourgeist, and a small one. The light from his pumpkin was illuminating the small and dark cell a little, but not really making it cosier.

To Hikui, there was no doubt. There only lived one single Gourgeist in the whole area of Baram Town.

"André?! Is that you?", Hikui asked him, now to so startled anymore. "Could have guessed after I haven't seen you in a while."

André originated from the Water Continent and moved to the Air Continent a few years ago after he got into trouble with the Expedition Society. He often showed of his "good look" and then got into fight with Pokémon who did not thought the same. He got very unpopular very fast, couldn't find or keep a job and eventually got criminal. Hikui actually thought about giving him a chance and team up after the first incident with Kleptofix, but decided not to do it before a fight could break out who was the most handsome. Also, shortly after, he teamed up with a former guild member, a Hitmonlee, and a Vanillish that one day just showed up. Hikui usually met him and his gang at Kangaskhan's, but did not heard of them since Valdis' arrival.

André turned around, his eyes watery and a mark across his face as if a Zangoose with three fingers ran it's claws across it. It was seemingly a little infected. The Gourgeist was not surprised, but seeing someone he knew with him made him more comfortable.

"What happened?", Hikui asked him and came closer.

André's face turned visibly upset.

"Remember that Mimikyu and his Sylveon friend?". he asked the Meowth.

Hikui immediately knew and looked at him is disbelieve.

"You and your two buddies did not actually went through with it?", he asked.

Two days before Valdis came into his life, Nobori, the Hitmonlee, drunkenly told Hikui about their plan of kidnapping the Mimikyu and ransoming the only Pokémon that would hang out with him, a Sylveon with countless disorders, for money. Hikui warned them not to do it and the flaws in their plan, but André and his buddies probably had a few disorders themselves.

"Well, SOMEONE ASSURED US ALL THE TIME it would be a GERAT idea!", André shouted, not at Hikui, but at the stone wall of the cell and knocked it with the side his fist multiple times.

"It would have worked if it wasn't for these meddling kids!", a muffled shouting came from the other side, from the cell next door. The Hitmonlee!

Out of interest, Hikui pressed his ear against the wall.

"Is that Vanillish also with you?", Hikui asked through the wall.

"He was brought somewhere else." André answered. "Apparently those kinds of ice Pokémon need special housings and stuff."

Anyway, Hikui had already wasted enough time he could had used to find a way to get out of there. He began inspecting his surroundings.

The cell was about seven feet long and 1,6 feet wide and furnished with four small hay beds, the walls were made out of solid rocks as well as the floor and the ceiling, and, as mentioned before, a large metal door. Breaking through any of these by force would be impossible, at least for the likes of Hikui. At the other end of the cells, high above the ground, almost touching with the ceiling was a small, very small window with bars, where they last shimmers of the already setting sun where shining through. Apart from the scratch marks on the walls and floor, there was nothing else to mention or to work with.

The only two options Hikui had were, climbing through the window or make a run once one of the guards needed to open the door.

It wouldn't be a problem to Hikui to climb up, but the windows was indeed very small, not to mention the bars. A Tentacool probably would have had no problems fitting through it, but Hikui, even with his feline body, would first need to lost a lot of weight before an escape was realistic to him.

And seeing how the guards dealt with André, Hikui could only hope and try they would be to busy with the Gourgeist.

"If you find a way out, tell me.", André told him. Hikui was silently looking around while he stood in the middle of the cell for a while now. "I tried, and I have something very important to do."

Hikui decided to give up, at least for now, and sat down. Hopefully he would have more energy tomorrow. Maybe he would get another idea later.

"Me too, me too.", the Meowth said. "You probably did not met her, there is this strange Meowth called Valdis. She tricked me into teaming up with her and then got me arrested."

Silence. Hikui closed his eyes.

"So we both desire revenge ...", André then said, his voice having kind of a cheery tone for some reason.

"Then I wish you good look dealing with these kids.", Hikui said, not really interested. "Which team? Orange?"

At that, André punched the iron door, making a loud noise that echoed through the whole corridor and got Hikui's full attention.

"It's that Mimikyu!", André bursted out. The Gourgeist turned around and to Hikui's shock look just as insane as he sounded like when the guards opened the cell door for the first time. "Look at me! I'm hideous! I used to be so smooth, so clean, so well formed! It won't heal! IT WON'T HEAL!"

André screamed in frustration, and in that moment Hikui actually began to fear for his live. Ripped into shreds by a maniac who got turned into one by another one. Not fitting for someone like Hikui was. This was not the André Hikui knew, not anymore.

"WILL YOU BE QUIET?!", one of the guards outside their door yelled at them.

That demand only made the Gourgeist even more angry and began slamming his body against the door, desperately trying to get it open.

Hikui sat down in the corner decided from this point on to not look directly at the scar or do anything that may or may not could anger him.

This is going to be harder then he thought.

Hikui had seen the sun set four times already since he was locked up.

If Valdis was smart, she would had run away with alls his hard stolen money and by now it would be impossible to track her down. IF she was smart.

During this time he and André basically wasted away. Talking with each other was not really possible. On one point or another, André would be reminded of that Mimikyu and then started to throw a fat, even attacking the Meowth. He even did it with no apparent reason!

Of course Hikui had attempted both his previous escaping ideas once. First through the cell door when they brought them breakfast on their first day, and then later through the window.

Hikui made it out, but only a second later he was already paralysed by one of the two guards that came and after that stunt they where denied dinner for that day, and when Hikui recovered and attempted the window escape, he got his head stuck and needed longer than he would had admitted to get free again. Would had been quicker and less painful when he had asked André for help, but the Meowth had already lost too much pride already.

His current plan was now to starve himself out and then, hopefully, he would fit through.

Since breakfast the first day Hikui had not eating anything since. He was not having food daily in his past, but this was something else. His stomach was hurting and he was tired, especially with André's constant tantrums.

In the middle of the night he was laying wide awake on his hay, having problems falling asleep with an empty stomach and playing with the thought of trying the window escape again.

As he silently laied there, the Meowth began to hear something. Mumbling. Dulled mumbling from outside their door, as if multiple Pokémon where not only awake as well, but whispering to each other. Hikui stood up to see what was going on.

He carefully walked over to their door, climbed up and peeked through the slit. The mumbling was clearly from outside the cells and where not robotic! Looking through the slit, Hikui couldn't see much, but outside in the hallway stood a Gloom, seemingly waiting impatiently. His view was then suddenly blocked by one large, robotic eye, startling the Meowth and making him lose grip and fall.

"WANNA GET OUT?", the Pokémon behind the door quietly asked him while still making eye contact. From the sound of it's voice most likely one of the guards.

"What?", Hikui quietly asked back surprised. That Pokémon's question to him seem serious and not meant as a joke, but in his current state, the Meowth couldn't fully trust his skills.

"I ASKED YOU IF YOU WANT TO GET OUT OF PRISON?", the Pokémon, now a tiny bit louder, repeated.

To Hikui, something seemed off. That Pokémon's question to him seem genuine and not meant as a joke, but in his current state the Meowth couldn't fully trust his skills.

"Is that supposed to be a joke?", he replied.

"Who are you talking to?", André asked with a normal toned voice, having woken up by the noise Hikui made.

The other Pokémon made a buzzing noise, sounding like a signal to them to be quiet.

"YOU NEED TO BE VERY QUIET.", the Pokémon slowly and quietly told them. "MY PARTNER WILL EXPLAIN THE REST TO YOU LATER."

Hikui looked over to André, signalling to him that he had no idea what was going on right now. The doors locking mechanism clicked and the Pokémon, one of the Magneton guards, opened their door. Carefully, expecting this might be a trick, Hikui stepped out.

The hallway was filled with different kinds of Pokémon, all criminals from behind the bars that Hikui was not able to see until now and mutliple, but not all, doors where opened.. Apart from a few fellow Dark-Type Pokémon like two Sableye and a Scraggy, and even a Snorlax of all Pokémon, there were a lot of Oddish, almost making the hallways seem like a lawn, with only one Gloom among them. But who stood out the most of all was one Abra. Not only didn't he seemed the least to not at all excited of them all, in comparison to other Abra that one was very pale, almost white and without any colour.

A murmuring echoed through the hallway from the many Pokémon. The Magneton, followed by André, made it's way to the door where it proceeded to do the same as with him and André. Among the crowd it was still easy to hear the Hitmonlee was already bothered. The Magneton opened the door, André dashed in and came out with the Hitmonlee, covering his mouth somehow, followed by ... Kleptofix. The Nickit, who was also separated from his top hat, grinned at the Meowth and if it wasn't for the danger of being discovered by the guards, he would have come over and given him a good beating.

Hikui, still not knowing any answer to what was going on and trying not to look at that fox Pokémon, he attempted to converse with the Gloom.

"So ... can you tell me what' happening. This whole situations feels surreal.", he asked her and leaned against the wall with his shoulder. The Oddish gave him a mean look.

"Apparently this guy over there, the Abra, is recruiting Pokémon for some kind of organisation, and that Magneton is helping for some reason.", the Gloom, sounding annoyed more than anything, told him. "I only care about getting my behind and that of my brothers and sisters out of here."

The Hitmonlee gave out a loud noise before being pushed t the ground by the Magneton. Hikui wasn't looking at the moment, but him and André got into a wrangle.

"NO FIGHTING.", the Magneton told the Hitmonlee and then gave a warning looked over to André.

The Abra floated over to them and put his and onto one of the Magneton's magnets. He then floated up so everyone could see him.

"Listen to me.", the Abra said with a calm but deeper voice than expected. "I represent 'The Forces of Darkness'. We are looking recruits for our cause, especially Pokémon that where cheated over my the guilds. That's all you need to know for now for now."

The murmuring got louder again and was then again silence by the Magneton's buzzing noise.

"So you really help us to get out?", Kleptofix asked without whispering. One of the Sableye shut is mouth.

"I only give you a chance.", the Abra answered.

Silence.

"What do you mean?", Hikui decided to ask as he stepped forward.

"You have to prove yourselves. From this point on you're all by yourself now.", the Abra explained. "I also want to say at this point, if you decide not to join us after escaping this hole ..."

The Abra stopped. Suddenly he looked please and licked his lower lip. In his words he said before, Hikui could sense the threat of murder.

"Meet us down at the beach.", he cheerily concluded and just like that disappeared into thin air and left everyone clueless behind.

"That guy could have just teleported us out ... and decided not to.", the Gloom quietly said to herself.

"What is the meaning of this?!", the Hitmonlee snapped at the Magneton guard and other prisoners joined him.

"Yohooo!" We wanna break out now!", Kleptofix loudly and also cheerfully yelled and ran past by the other Pokémon and into someone else's cell.

Hikui pursued him, knowing he was up to something. At the same time, the Magneton began to defend himself and began shocking Pokémon left and right but was soon overwhelmed by the mass. All the noise soon got the other guards attention.

"ALARM! IT'S A MASS BREAKOUT!", a Magnemite from down the hallway shouted out.

The prison cell Kleptofix ran into was made for one of the larger Pokémon, probably the Snorlax's, and thus larger in size than Hikui's. What was also larger was the window and the bars on it. Large and wide enough for the Nickit to fit through and to get outside.

Normally, Hikui would had followed him, this seemed like a smart and easy escape, but Hikui remembered there was still something he should do, or rather get back. He fought with the thoughts of escaping now or getting back what was his. In the end he decided to go the hard road.

In the hallway, the Magneton and Magnemite guards were all gathered, lined up and formed a wall, pushing back the prisoners. Some smaller prisoners managed to break through, while the army of Oddish pushed against the wall.

"Charge! Charge I said! Swarm them!", the Gloom commanded her fellow Plant-Types.

One of the moments where Hikui was glad his species was small. Ignoring his hunger weakened body he made a run at the guards, quickly stepping over the head of the other Pokémon, including the Gloom, and through the guards defence thanks to a small hole.

The guards forming the wall notices Hikui getting through but were to busy dealing with the other inmates to do anything, but other Magnemite were already waiting for him behind the line and paralysed prisoners on the floor could already tell not many got far. Going into the offensive would not work, so Hikui kept his tactic of running and trying not to get into contact with anyone.

Quickly, past the guards, ignoring the burning, not thinking about how ridiculous this might look. Down the way, up the stairs, left or right, left or right, to the left, more guards from the right.

Luckily, there it was, written onto the door: Evidence Room!

At the moment no one was seeing him. If the door happened to be unlocked, what Hikui highly doubted, ... it was! So Hikui quickly went inside. Leaning against the door, the Meowth had some time to catch his breath. If he had known what would happen today, he would never gone through with "Operation Anorexia". But there was no time to lose. This room was a dead end, and if they found him in here then his chance of getting out in the near future was gone.

The evidence room was a large room, at least twice as large as the cell where Kleptofix managed to escape. No windows, but little candle holders hanging from the ceiling to brighten it, this meant this was indeed a dead end and the only way out was through the door again. The room itself was filled with all sorts of stuff directly or indirectly connected with crimes committed, either inside of boxes, on shelves, or on boxes on shelves. Seeing all of this, Hikui began to think if he should take some of this stuff with him, starting rebuilding his fortune. But then again, especially in his current state, this weight would only slow him down, and he also had nothing to carry it with. He couldn't possibly carry one of those boxes, most of them where taller and wider than him. Maybe if he could find a sack in here ... but back to what is the most important!

On first sight, the organisation they had was chaotic, on second sight it still was. Fake money next to illegal substances next to tools like hammers or hook. At least they labelled everything, but he was still not sure where exactly to search. Equipment, illegal possessions?

There was a terrible noise outside, like hundred tiny feet trampling fast marching outside the door and the screeching of many high pitch voices. Hikui froze in place and watched the door, preparing for someone to enter. ... nothing happened and the noise faded away as it came. Back to business!

Longer than intended, Hikui found it: "Inmate belongings".

"Bingo!"

It was a crate with different sized fabric sacks with names and dates on them, and the first one at the to had his own. Hikui hurried and looked inside: His belt and pipe! He wasted no time putting his belt back on, he felt kind of naked without it, and proudly put the pipe back in his mouth. The king had returned!

With new found confidence he looked for a bag about his own size, a small one, and for the one with Kleptofix's name on it. The latter, there was only his hat inside, he stomped on multiple times in an act of revenge, the first one was emptied and he began filling it with the confiscated tools, expecting Valdis had probably run off with his own, and the second he emptied as well and filled it with some of the fake money, just in case he needed to use its Pay Day. Fake pay, but still pay.

Having done everything he needed and could do, he prepare to leave, but first pressed his ear against the door. Silence. Hikui slowly opened and peaked outside.

Unlike before the floor was now a dirty mess and fainted Magnemite and Magneton scattered around, in the distance he could still hear some commotion going on and the air was faintly dusty and purpleish. The Oddish! Poison Powder! If Hikui remembered, Steel-Typs could not get poisoned that easily, but they probably had their reason to do this. Still with his pipe in his mouth, he covered it with his arm and made a run for the exit.

Through a widely open door, Hikui finally made it back outside! Fresh air, the warm night breeze on his fur, things you don't appreciate until you don't have it anymore. The night sky was clear and covered in stars and the moon was shining above all. Still hungry, tired and overall exhausted, but the Meowth could help but to smile and feel joyously. With his sack over his shoulder and the pipe still in his mouth, Hikui made his way back to town.

Everything was quiet, the doors were locked, stores were closed, no one was on the street, it was only him, the stars, the moon and the wind. It wasn't a feeling and a situation Hikui was not unfamiliar with, but after the last few days and once again alone he felt it in a new way.

He came across the stand that sold cakes where Valdis knocked out the owner. Hikui sighted and looked over to the stone bench as it happened. There, exactly there where he sat on the bench that day was an apple. Big and red and clean, simply face there as if someone did it on purpose. A sign or an accident, at that moment Hikui did not care, on retro perspective a great mistake for someone like him.

Hikui took the apple, sat down and hastily began to devour it. He remembered how he and Valdis sat there a week ago and how friendly, rudely friendly, she was. Naive and idiotic, but still willing to learn from him. They both could have done some great things. Could.

Having finished the apple he tossed it on the ground in front of him, he put his paws on his legs and sighted.

"What now?"

Suddenly, he felt two large and bony hand groping his shoulders. Hikui was startled, quickly turned his head and saw two small blood red eyes looking at him. The Meowth yelped, lost balance and fell on the ground next to the leftovers of his apple. Looking back up, where he sat a second ago now sat the pale Abra he met in prison.

"Are you slow or do you have other plans?", the Abra asked angrily.

Hikui almost forgot!

"I only made a small detour to get back what belongs to me.", Hikui told him and showed him his pipe. He then got up and brushed the dirt off his fur. "And who again are you and what do you want to do with us now?"

Without saying anything, the Abra then stood up, grasped Hikui's left shoulder again and in a blink of an eye they were somewhere else. It was the beach near the SPA and he and the Abra weren't the only one there. André, the Gloom and many of her Oddish, but less than before, where also there and apparently waiting for something. Barely half of those Hikui saw in the call area, with neither the Hitmonlee or Kleptofix among them.

Hikui looked around in surprise while the Abra floated over to the others. It was also at that moment Hikui realised he had lost his sack with the stoles tools! It was still at the market place! At least he still had his fake cash for Payday.

"Where is the Flygon?", the Abra asked into the round.

"He said something about going hunting.", the Gloom answered unsurely.

The Abra moaned in annoyance.

"You wait, I'll search for him before-", the Abra wanted to say when the silence of the sea suddenly broken by loud cursing.

"Let me go! Let me go!", a voice that was steadily coming closer towards them yelled. Hikui knew who that voice belonged too, Kleptofix ...

A Flygon flew above them and towards the wide ocean. Everyone looked in surprise what was going on, except for the Abra, he was massaging his forehead. Still high in the sky and above the deep waters, the Flygon held out the Nickit by his tail, he wiggling and begging to no avail. And then ... they Flygon dropped him. First screaming, then splash, then silence. With this deed done, the Flygon flew back to the other on the beach. The Abra approached him immediately.

"He didn't wanted to join.", the Flygon told with a deep and aggressive voice.

"And nothing of value was lost.", Hikui quietly said to himself. The Gloom apparently heard that and smirked.

"I told you, I'm dealing with the ones who refuse!", the Abra scolded the Flygon.

The Flygon did not responded first, he rather seemed spaced out for a moment and blinked.

"Oh! Back already?", the Flygon then said rather surprised.

"Our new recruits are here now.", the Abra replied and sounded like he was giving up. He turned around to the Pokémon. "The rest is either imprisoned again or ... you saw what happened."

The Abra was then again interrupted by yet another loud yelling. Kleptfix?! The Nickit was apparently unharmed and paddling violently as he drifted further away.

"Just you wait! I'll get you!", he cursed at them.

Just then, a Gyarados jumped out of the water where the Nickit was and the last that was seen of him was him disappearing into the giant sea snake's mouth while screaming out the top of his lungs and with an even louder splash they both vanished into the wide, wide ocean. But if that Nickit could survive that Onix ...

The Flygon had an awkwardly twisted expression as he turned around to face the Pokémon again after what just happened.

"Aaaaanyway ... You all are probably wondering who we are.", the Flygon began to explain and pressed his hands together. "My name is Saghir, and I believe you all already met Fames. We two belong to an organisation called "The Forces of Darkness" and we're currently looking for new members. Fames here spend the last few days checking out possible members. The fact that you're standing here right now proves we see you worthy."

Hikui had a strange feeling where this will go.

"You spied on us?!", André protested. "And for what reason? Are you some kind of cult?"

The Gourgeist had some good question.

"Of course not!", Saghir, the Flygon, laughed, while the Abra, Fames, sat next to him on the ground, motionless. "You see, our current leader managed to get in contact with a powerful entity and needs Pokémon like us to save the world. Our end goal would be a new and better world order, and especially we, who helped along the way, would be greatly rewarded."

"That sounds very much like a sect to me!", Hikui defended André as well as his own view. "And why us? We're criminals!"

"Because we're all selfish.", Fames spoke up. "Also, you have nowhere to go."

Hikui party understood and not understood.

"You told something about a reward. What exactly are we talking about?", the Gloom then asked.

Fames smiled in a creepy, sadistic way.

"Everything that your hearts desire.", he answered.

"Then you can sign me in!", André agreed right away.

A group looking for societies misfits and offering them "what their hearts desire"? They were both telling the truth the whole time, but something was indeed wrong. The Oddish surrounded the Gloom and they all bowed down and began to discuss the situation like a sports team. They seemed to be aware as well something was not right.

"Where's the catch?", Hikui asked the Flygon.

"There is none. You simply have to work with us and for us, and it's not like we all could get into more trouble with the police and the guild than some of us are already in.", the Flygon further explained in a happy mood, while the Abra still sat there and looked emotionless.

They probably where right, Hikui had nowhere to go. It bothered him to trust other Pokémon again so quickly, he had to, but he decided he could give it a try, and once these "Forces" started to become suspicious he would be out of there.

"Fine. I accept as well.", Hikui gave in.

"Still better than going back to prison. We are all in as well!", the Gloom announced as well and all the Oddish stood beside her.

Fames stood up.

"You've chosen wisely."

The Abra rose his clenched fist and when he opened it he suddenly held a whistle, long and silvery to large and solid to hide in a hand this size. He turned to the sea and blew into the whistle, making a very high pitched and almost not audible tone.

First nothing seemed to happen, but soon the water turned turbulent and very soon, one by one, a whole swarm of Sharpedo and Carvanha rose from the water and swam near the shore towards the Abra and the Flygon.

"We're ready to go now, Aquiles.", the Abra told the tallest Sharpedo. "These are our newest members."

The Sharpedo looked over to them with flinched eyes.

"You recruited grass? ... whatever.", the Sharpedo loudly said like he needed to burp but couldn't. "Alright everyone, get onto my boys before either the police arrives or that Gyarados comes back!"

The other fish Pokémon swam a little closer to the beach and waited for everyone to climb onto them. There where enough Sharpedo and Carvanha for everyone to have three Oddish on their backs, not including him, André and the Gloom.

"Who falls off gets left behind!", the leader told them as one by one chose a ride.

"I can also carry someone!", the Flygon offered.

Fames looked over to him.

"No, you can't.", he told him.

Hikui was not in a hurry

"Where are we going now?", he asked the Abra.

"To base.", Fames simply answered.

"And you're not coming with us?", Hikui further asked, noticing Fames was also not in a hurry to leave.

"Saghir does, me later.", Fames replied and once again was suddenly gone.

Hikui needed to remind himself to keep an eye out for that Abra.

"Hurry up, cat!", the Sharpedo's boss yelled at Hikui.

Except for him and the Flygon everyone was ready to leave. Hikui quickly chose an Sharpedo that no one claimed for themselves.

"Follow me, boys!", the boss announced and took the lead.

In a formatted swarm with the boss at the top, the Sharpedo and Carvanha swam out into the wide blue ocean, all of them swimming fast and at the same speed while Saghir flew above them and tried to keep up while, despite his offer, carrying none of the ex-inmates.

Hikui turned around to see Baram Town disappear into the distance and the darkness of the night. He was unsure when or if he would return and what will await him where they will be brought, but if he couldn't keep his promise of not working with other again or reclaiming his property, he WILL still get Valdis.

"My name is Percy, by the way!", the Sharpedo Hikui stood on told him. He was a young one with a timid voice. "Nice to meet you!"
