Tonks watched as Molly happily fawned over Teddy. Her son (she had a son! That wasn't going to get old anytime soon) was looking a little bewildered at all the attention he was getting and the rather loud baby talk he was being addressed in. Sure, Tonks would readily admit to talking to her baby in baby talk but Molly was taking it to a whole other level. She was just hoping that Teddy decided that he liked all of this attention instead of crying or screaming. Had she mentioned just how loud a baby's cry could be? It was loud. Very loud. Remus flinched at some of them. That had to say something about how loud Teddy was. Remus didn't even flinch at any weird noises that the Weasley twins produced and he'd been around since they'd been experimenting for their Joke Shop in the early days.

"You must let me spend more time with this precious boy," Molly was saying, giving Teddy yet another kiss.

Tonks felt like she was going to have to use a towel to dry his face after all this. But she did enjoy watching Molly fawn over him. She just kept a careful eye on Teddy in case he suddenly decided he didn't like it. Though, he was starting to make his happy noises, which was a good sign. He liked the attention.

"Oh, it's so nice to have a little baby around again," Molly was now gushing. "I do love babies. Tonks, you must bring him around more often."

"If I can get my mum to give him up when me and Remus go anywhere," Tonks agreed with a laugh. "She's a very possessive grandmother."

Molly sighed longingly at that and looked between Bill and Fleur.

"Having a grandchild mist be a wonderful experience," she lamented.

Perhaps a little too pointedly. Fleur gave her a pleading look but Tonks shook her head. Nope, she wasn't about to get between Molly Weasley and talks about grandchildren. No. No thank you. She wasn't that stupid. That was something you should expect when you married into the Weasley family.

So, she did the sensible thing and took refuge by her husband. Her protector. Who was also somewhat terrified of Molly so probably not much of a protector in this case but still?

"Teddy having fun?" He asked her, breaking off his conversation with one of the twins.

"Well, Molly is."

Remus chuckled at that. As did the Weasley twin. She took a surreptitious look at the side of his head. Two ears. It was Fred.

"Don't get mum started on babies." He said with an eye roll. "Every time one of us gets a girlfriend I swear that's all she thinks about. Hey! George!" He called, darting across the room to his twin.

"That was your fault!" Fleur hissed to her, having finally been able to get away from Molly.

"What was my fault?"

She hadn't done anything. That she knew of anyway.

"Molly talking about grandchildren. Bebés!"

"Molly has been talking about grandchildren since Ginny was little," Tonks dismissed.

It was true. The woman loved children. And she loved her family. Ever since Bill and Charlie (mainly Bill) started dating Molly's mind had been on grandchildren. In fact, if Tonks could remember correctly, Charlie had told her that Molly had actually chased off some of Bill's girlfriends in school because of talk about grandchildren. Not that Tonks could blame them. What sixteen-year-old wanted to think about babies? She certainly hadn't. Merlin, she hadn't even cooed over them like some of her classmates.

She cooed over Teddy though. Obviously. Because he was the most adorable baby ever.

"You brought Teddy with you!" Fleur was now accusing her.

"Sorry for not wanting to be parted from my baby just yet!"

Oh, she knew she could have left him with her mother for the few hours she would be over here. Something that Andromeda had been eager to do but that hadn't sat right with her. She wasn't ready to be separated from Teddy just yet. So, she brought him along and hoped that he didn't put up too much of a fuss. Molly had wanted to see him anyway. And it all seemed to have worked out.

"Hmpf," Fleur huffed and then flounce off to go and talk with Ginny who had been chatting with George.

"I think mum might scare off Fleur from ever having babies if she's not careful," Bill said dolefully.

"I'm sure everything will be fine," Remus tried to assure him, hiding a smile.

It was weird to be spending so much time with Bill these days. Tonks had always been closer to Charlie than Bill. Though Bill was cool too, just not as weird as her and Charlie, he'd had his own group of friends as well as that annoying gaggle of girls who had always been swooning over him. Urgh, even after all these years later she got annoyed by the thought of them. She wondered where they ended up. Were they wives? Had children? Jobs? Did they travel? How were they dealing with this whole Voldemort situation? As much as she had disliked them, that didn't mean she wanted them dead. Unless they followed Voldemort, of course. Even then, wishing someone to be dead left a nasty taste in her mouth.

"I'm just worried," Tonks heard Bill say as she returned to the conversation.

"We all are. They haven't said anything to you?" Remus asked, frowning slightly.

Ah. They must be talking about Harry, Hermione and Ron again. Bill had implied the were planning something.

Bill shook his head. "Nothing. They haven't even asked me anything."

"Be there for them," Tonks advised. "Maybe they'll come to you."

There's only so much a bunch of seventeen- and eighteen-year-old could do, right?

"I've warned them what goblins can be like. Are like," he corrected himself.

Remus sighed heavily and ran a hand over his face. He then took a deep breath. Tonks knew that he was trying to organise his thoughts.

"At least you've done that. They have some knowledge."

"That I don't think they're taking seriously at all."

"But you've told them," Tonks tried to reassure him now, she fertile she should instead of just standing around. "That's all you can do."

"Isn't there something I can do to stop them? Make them see sense?" Bill asked pleadingly.

"Harry is incredibly stubborn," Remus said almost apologetically. "You won't be able to change his mind. And Hermione and Ron are almost as stubborn. If what you've said won't stop them then I suspect nothing will."

"If you get Hermione on your side, you might be able to get them to change their mind," Tonks suggested. "Both of them listen to her, don't they?"

Remus snorted. "More like she doesn't give them much of an opportunity to disagree but yes. Harry and Ron do listen to her."

Bill looked hopeful at that thought but unfortunately Remus crushed that almost immediately.

"But if she hasn't said anything against it already you can be pretty sure that she thinks that it is a good idea."

Bill groaned at that.

"Great. Just great. Not only are we going to be waging war against Voldemort, were also going to have a Goblin rebellion on our hands."

Tonks couldn't help but chuckle at how quickly Bill's face fell. Oh, she knew it was inappropriate, given the situation and all that, but she couldn't help it.

Bill didn't look like he appreciated it at all if the dark look, he was sending her was anything to go by. Oh, and Remus was giving her a disapproving look for good measure before he turned back to Bill.

"I don't think it will go quite that far."

"You don't know Goblins. Something will happen with him. Trust me."
