What's up? How ya been?
I wanted to post this chapter since my schedule is about to be super booked starting tomorrow.
I'll keep posting what I've gotten finished, you can rely on that. Remember the chapter I said I was working on last chapter? I also finished that! I'm obviously going to edit it once it comes time to post it. I'm now working on another new chapter, but I don't know how long that's going to take considering my schedule.
Any and all constructive criticism is appreciated; if you feel strongly about this story, don't hesitate to leave a review!
I hope I can make your day just a bit better, if at all.
Thanks, and enjoy!

Tammy sighed as she entered the meeting room. Hopefully this meeting won't go as badly as the others. The noble meetings have had a worse history than ever, with the nobles disagreeing on so much.
"Tammy, glad you could make it," Kreg, number six in the Jett Kingdom rankings, said.
From left to right, were Arma the Aromatisse, G the Swampert, Blizzard the Beartic, Elijah the Arcanine, Kreg the Kommo-o, and Morshu the Infernape. Tammy was number four in the rankings, and the Top Noble, so she was leading this meeting.
"Good to be here," Tammy replied.
"Now, let me start this meeting by saying this is a professional space, we don't need to be at each other's throats," She continued.
Arma butted in, "We were arguin' last meeting, and you were doin' it too. Don't act all high and mighty."
Tammy took a deep breath. "I know. I apologize. That's also part of the reason I wanted to address this-"
She was cut off by Arma. "An apology ain't good enough! You need to show us you ain't gonna argue!"
Tammy gave a glare and continued with a seething tone, "I'm not going to hurt you in here, but I will once this meeting is over. Are we clear?"
Arma got her act together. "Uh... yeah. That's fine."
"Now that that's out of the way, the first topic I have is Captain Grayson. He was attacked by an officer because he was being too harsh with them. Who do you think is in the right?" Tammy asked the board of nobles.
Morshu started, "I think he should stay... yeah yeah... stay."
Kreg countered, "Now, he has a history of being harsh to his platoon, but only once has this outburst happened."
G came in, "What if a lot of people have been thinking about doing it and just didn't act upon it?"
Tammy chimed in, "You bring up a good point, G. I've heard many, if not all of the platoon hates his leadership."
"If they hate 'im so much, then why don't they just act upon it?" Arma asked.
"Heh, they would've thrown a revolution against him by now." Elijah added.
"Yeah, if they wanted him gone that badly, this kinda thing should happen more often." Blizzard said.
"Ok, now, was the attack from the officer justified or not? Let's take a vote," Tammy said.
She put up a tally for yes, it was justified, and no, it wasn't justified. Morshu, Kreg, Elijah, and Arma voted no, Tammy and G voted yes, and Blizzard stayed neutral.
"Ok, 4 votes for no, 2 votes for yes, including myself. Blizzard, you sure you don't have an opinion on this?" Tammy asked.
"I'm a doctor, not a judge. I can't make an opinion on this, I'm not qualified to." Blizzard answered.
"Alright. So, with the consensus being no, we'll let the punishment come to the Officer in question." Tammy said.
"Now... onto our next topic, Yukon, the Mightyena Lieutenant from Platoon 3 is retiring. Who should he replace him with?" She asked.
"I think you should leave that to me."
Jett had entered the meeting room. "I'll hold an audition for the spot. Just like I usually do it. I tell them who they're replacing so they can get a better idea of who's shoes they're filling," he said.
"Oh, and for the punishment of the Officer, I'll take care of that tonight." Jett added on.
"Alright. Thanks for your help, Jett." Tammy said.
"No prob. I'll let you guys finish your fancy meeting." Jett swabbled out of the room.
"He's such an ass." Tammy thought.
"Ok. Those were the important topics I wanted to cover today. Does anyone else have anything they'd like to discuss?" Tammy asked.
Arma stepped in, "Yeah, why are you such a b-"
She quickly got cut off by G, who had covered her beak with his arm.
G whispered to Arma, "Keep it civil. Remember last meeting?"
"Everyone was trying to murder each other?" Arma said.
"Exactly. We don't need another round."
"Tammy, doesn't that Andrew kid eat with you all the time?" Kreg asked.
"Yes. Why?" Tammy asked.
"I'd have to drop by one of his training sessions. He got really good scores on his run and the course yesterday, and so did his squad," Kreg said.
"Oh! Good to know he's doing well," Tammy said.
"That being said, where might he be this time of day?" She thought.
In Seb's room, Andrew was being shown Seb's old rock collection. His room was a blazing red, with red walls, bed, and surprisingly, dresser as well. The floors were a light brown carpet, which made the room feel breathable.
"Remember when I first showed you this puppy?" Seb asked.
"Oh yeah! You were so crazy about it, you were set on making me learn every... single... factoid about those rocks."
"Heh... I was pretty excited wasn't I?" Seb put his hand on his neck.
"Yeah, I'd say a little more than excited. Obsessed?" Andrew teased.
"Passionate."
Seb continued, "Anyway, this Limestone I just kinda found sitting on the bench. Someone probably sat on it, or got hit with it. I quickly snatched it from the park."
As Seb as rambling about his limestone find, Andrew was thinking about another type of rock. Specifically an Ascension Stone, which is said to make a Pokémon much more powerful. He didn't know much about it, so he thought he might ask the rock aficionado himself.
"Hey, Seb. Have you ever heard of something called an Ascension Stone?" Andrew asked.
"That was kind of out of the blue, but yeah! I know what it does, I just have no idea where to find it. I haven't even gotten one yet. I would LOVE to have one for my collection! Then I could study it and give you more details on what it does and how."
"Ok... I hear it's like a power up."
"Yeah, that's essentially what it does. It raises your power by a hundred levels."
"A hundred Levels?! That's as much power as Jett!"
"I know. It's crazy. I heard many have tried to stop Jett with an ascension stone, but even they couldn't do it! He's too powerful!"
"That is news to me. I've never heard of something like that before."
"Still, it's very powerful, and can do a lot of good in the right hands."
"Interesting. I'll have to do some research of my own. For now, it's dinner time! Where's Tammy? We need to eat with her today, we didn't get to yesterday."
"Heh, probably finishing up a noble meeting. I hear those are always chaotic because they never agree with each other."
"She must be pretty stressed out then from all that arguing."
"Yeah. Might wanna take it easy with her today."
"Noted."
Tracey had just gotten out of the shower, now combing her poofy fur. "Why does this always happen? I swear it's so annoying..." she thought. After a few more comb strokes, she finally got a hold of it.
"Sigh... when am I ever going to get my head straight? It feels like ages since that incident, but I still feel terrible." She was racking her brain on how to apologize. Should she go up to Grayson directly? Should she leave a note at his door? It was so stressful! But she had to make amends, or else the platoon will be tense. Real tense. It was night, after dinner hours. Tracey had already eaten, but she might need to eat again, because she might lose her dinner from all the stress.
She then heard some pebbles hit her window. She wondered who could be acting like Zekromeo tonight. She opened the window, and did a double take. Jett was standing on the grass, with a weirdly inviting smile. He was emitting an energy Tracey had never felt before. But what could he want with her? She was sure it had to be important, but why ask her?
She was confused more than anything. He waved her to come down. She quickly went down the stairs and to where Jett was.
"Didn't expect you to come down so quick." Jett started.
"Yeah... I would think it's urgent, being from you."
"C'mon. Let's walk together." Jett motioned her to follow. She quickly followed behind.
They went along the concrete path, through the cherry blossoms that surrounded the park.
"They're beautiful tonight." Tracey said.
"Yeah. I don't get to go down here very often. I keep forgetting how pretty it is."
Tracey's mind was exploding right now. What did Jett want? Is he seeking revenge from Grayson? Is he... maybe asking for a date? He's in his early thirties, and she's in her twenties... it couldn't be that. She was daydreaming at this point. How could she not, though? The park was practically begging for her to do so.
They kept admiring the scenery, almost losing themselves in the process. The grass was shining with lightning bugs, cherry blossom petals flowing in the wind. Tracey was blushing a little. The moonlight complimented the cherry blossom petals almost too well. With Jett walking with her, she didn't know what to think.
"There's a secret spot I always go to whenever I'm feeling under the weather." Jett smiled. "Come. Let's go."
He grabbed her by the paw, making Tracey's blush spread. Jett led her to the secluded area. They soon arrived, surrounded by cherry blossoms and a pond in their view.
"Take a seat. It's a nice view." Jett said.
Tracey hesitantly did so. She was bombarding herself with doubt, even though she had a blush on her face. With phrases like "Don't do it!" "He's gonna snap!" "Get out!" But she sat anyway. The ground heated her hind legs, adding to the stress she was experiencing. Her body was telling her yes, her mind was telling her no. Her internal fight was getting abysmal, and that's not even mentioning the daydream she's having about Jett.
They stared into the blissful abyss for a little while. Taking in the petals that were falling out of the trees and into the pond. It showed a little reflection of the moon, as well as their faces. The moonlight also shone on the pond, making its ripples from the petals all the more noticeable. It was truly a sight to behold, and they both could stay here for hours.
Tracey started, "So... why d-"
Three shots echoed in the distance, and a faint thud onto the grass was heard.

...
...
Jett started by cleaning up the blood that was on himself. He had a special technique with his aura for cleaning up. He also used it to stop the bleeding from Tracey's head. Once he did that, he dragged her into the pond, never to be seen again. He sat back down, smiling at the scenery once more. He stayed like that for a few seconds.
Jett then started to mumble to himself.
"Y'know, I heard about your attack on Grayson. I know he's a babbling idiot, but your mistake was too much to bear. I can't let it slip past. So, I have to give you a just punishment for your slip up. I wish you could've said goodbye to your friends, but you don't have any worries, right? You are safe and secure here... You're just like the civilians out there. Carefree and selfish. Have fun rotting in the lake, tramp."
