A New Hero, A New Legend

I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the story kicks off as Midoriya takes on the entity, but will he be able to tap the power of this artifact which would be a replacement for being Quirkless…?

The scene shows that Sakurako witness something she never expect anything like this to happen. First learning that her fellow researchers have unearthed what appeared to be an ancient artifact that was buried for several centuries, but then an unknown race of entities emerged and massacred the research team.

Then while being debriefed by Tsukauchi about the incident one of the mysterious entities came crashing into the police station and attack everyone in sight, but in the ensuing chaos Midoriya accidentally puts the artifact around his waist and that object was absorbed into his body, which the entity somewhat reacted and dragged the younger boy out of the station.

Now Sakurako saw Midoriya encased in a strange armor, all black with while outer armor and his helmet seemingly resembling that of an ancient stag beetle, and this made her worry as she knows that Midoriya is Quirkless since birth, thus it puts into question on how he could defend himself against this entity.

Filled with worry, Sakurako calls out Midoriya and told him to run, but he assured to her that he won't let himself get killed, stating that though he is Quirkless, he believed that something good might come out of this situation.

"But Izuku…!"

"I'll be okay!"

"But how will you…"

"Its fine! I got this!"

"Eh?"

"I'll figure it out somehow!"

"Look out, Izuku!"

"Huh?"

The sudden conversation is interrupted as the unknown entity, which resembled that of a tribal, humanoid-looking spider, suddenly attacked the armored Midoriya, and while his target was thrown back and collided against a parked car, the armored Midoriya regain his composure and did a fighting stance which made the entity feel more intrigued.

"Hmm…"

"Blast you…"

"Tu ne infirmi sicut cogitavi…"

"Huh?"

"Fortasse vos can exsisto bonus exitus…"

"I don't understand what your saying…"

"Ego coniecto ero frui…"

"?"

Midoriya is baffled as he could not understand what the entity is saying, but he chose to stop him before things get out of hand, and began to fight back and delivered a series of punches and kicks, emulating the techniques of anime characters he saw on TV.

While the entity was staggered back, he was quite impressed as he felt that he found something challenging and decided to face Midoriya, where he tackled him before throwing his prey around, yet Midoriya got back up and retaliated, which the entity is starting to enjoy himself, who then addressed the younger boy as Kuuga, much to the younger boy's confusion.

"Tu ne sic malus ... satis est infigo feat."

"Huh?"

"Etsi te respice diversis ... illic 'non dubium de illo ... es eum ... Kuuga."

"Huh? Kuuga...?"

"Veni autem, Kuuga ... Ostende mihi quid got!"

"I really don't understand what you're saying…"

"Quid est materia, Kuuga? Vereris?"

"This thing keeps calling me "Kuuga"...What the heck does that mean…?"

Ch. 3: Sora no tatakai

Sakurako could only stand there and watch, as she is worried for Midoriya due to him being Quirkless, and though he now somewhat managed to gain something to protect himself, Midoriya has, in her knowledge, never received any form of self-defense training and now the unknown entity is beginning to regain the upper hand.

By then two cops saw Sakurako and urged her to evacuate as they are intent on minimizing further casualties due to the number of deaths Inside the police station minutes ago, and yet she is unwilling as she had to see Midoriya get out of this predicament unharmed yet the two cops began to drag her away from the scene of the battle.

"Come on, miss…"

"Its dangerous here!"

"But…"

"About 50 people got killed…"

"And we have to protect the citizens…so you shouldn't stay here…"

"Wait! There's a boy there…"

"Let the pro heroes deal with that!"

"Besides…it's not our problem…"

"Let go of me!"

As the two cops carry the stubborn Sakurako away, the scene shows that the entity is steadily beating up the armored Midoriya, and is gloating at the fact that humans are so weak that this GAME would be an easy win for him and told Midoriya to die, but Midoriya would answer back despite not understanding the language that the entity is saying.

"Hah! Hoc est optimum potes dare?"

"Uhhnn…"

"Hoc est quod Kuuga putatur? Quam frustretur!"

"I really don't have a clue to what you're saying…"

"Fortasse non expectata nimis ... nulla materia. Cum ego te occidere te ego te respice ad alias nugas ludere cum!"

"…"

"Nunc mori!"

"I won't give up!"

There the armored Midoriya began to fight back and recalling the action scenes he saw in the manga and anime, as well as some Tokusatsu shows, he began to improvise some moves and began to do a series of punches and kicks, which sends the entity reeling back, surprising the attacker as he thought that Midoriya is an easy prey.

"O ... non malum ..."

"…"

"Videtur quod ego aliquantum minoris vos ..."

"…"

"Forsitan vos can hospitiis meis post omnes ..."

"…"

"EGO coniecto i potest satus enjoying ipse ...!"

"!"

Feeling pumped up, the entity then charges forward and grabbed the armored Midoriya by his neck and threw him around, sending him crashing against some parked vehicles, stunning the younger boy before being grabbed and thrown around again, where he crashed against a huge garbage bin.

As the armored Midoriya tries to regain his footing, the entity grabbed him and spins him around before throwing him upward which he crashed against a pipe but he managed to grab a railing, and finds out that he is on the 15th floor, and he wisely climbs over the railing and head for the rooftop.

The entity, who resembled a humanoid-looking spider, is revealed to have the characteristics of a spider itself, as he began crawling the walls and went upward, and there he reached the rooftop, and finds the armored Midoriya standing there, panting, as has a bit of underdeveloped stamina.

He gloated at this and tells Midoriya that this is a good exercise and now he will finish this and seek out other prey, and though Midoriya did not understand what the entity is saying he made it clear that he won't let the entity get away just like that after massacring everyone inside the police station.

"Your killing spree ends here…"

"Quid est…?"

"I won't let you do what you want!

"Quid dicis…?"

"I'll stop you right here, right now!"

"Ah ... sic placuit ut gravi ...?"

"Your murdering spree ends now!"

"Quod…?"

Midoriya charges forward and started to incorporate some wrestling moves, particularly some high-flying ones as it is shown that he watched WWE shows like Raw and Smackdown, and the entity is reeling back and felt intrigued as he finds Midoriya quite interesting and decided to kill him at once rather than drag things longer than necessary.

He began to punch and kick Midoriya with enough force that sent him crashing against a chimney before being thrown back and nearly falling over the edge of the rooftop, and there the entity strangles the armored Midoriya, while unleashing a pair of spikes from his right knuckle and is ready to stab the younger boy while telling him that this time he will die a painful death.

"Satis est infigo natus, Kuuga..."

"Uuuunnnfffhh…"

"Sed ego coniecto EGO necesse est terminus nunc ..."

"Uuuunnnfffhh…"

"Vos vere provisum est mihi ampliorem moles entertainment, et fruendum est..."

"Uuuunnnfffhh…"

"Et nunc debes mori!"

"Uuuunnnfffhh…"

As the two are fighting, a helicopter is seen approaching the scene, after getting word on what is going on, and there Tsukauchi saw the scene and is baffled to see two as he was told that there was only one attacker, and the helicopter pilot tells him to start shooting as maintaining this distance is the safest way and cannot afford to let the attacker climb onboard.

"Sir…this is the safest distance I can do…"

"…"

"If we get closer, those things might climb onboard…"

"I understand…"

"Safety protocols, sir."

"Yeah, I get it."

"Please brace yourself…"

"Right."

Tsukauchi then brought out a shotgun rifle and took aim, and as he pondered on who to shoot first, the pilot tells Tsukauchi to shoot whoever is on sight and not hesitate, which Tsukauchi said he is aware of it and instructed the pilot to maintain the distance and not have the helicopter get too close to the rooftop of the building.

"Its like you said…keep the distance at a safe level…"

"Yes, sir…"

"In case I miss…move the helicopter a bit back…then I'll try again…"

"Yes, sir."

"If things get too complicated, we retreat and wait for the SWAT team to take over."

"Yes, sir."

"Okay…move into position…"

"Yes sir."

Aiming the shotgun rifle, Tsukauchi had to maintain the balance and decided to shoot the entity first due to being on the line of scope, and fired three shots, hitting it on the back, but the pilot noticed that the shots didn't fazed it.

Tsukauchi fired three more shots, with one hitting the entity on the back of the head, and the pilot saw that the entity wasn't deterred not showing signs of being hurt, and told Tsukauchi that he is going to have the helicopter fly a bit higher so maintain a distance.

"Sir…I'll have the chopper fly a bit higher…"

"…"

"Try shooting it one more time…"

"Okay, but if the shots couldn't stop it…we head back and try using a stronger firepower…"

"No arguments, sir…"

"Okay, fly us higher."

"Got it."

"…"

As the helicopter backed away, the humanoid-looking spider-like entity looked up, and mistook the helicopter for a creature, as he is unaware about the present era, and decided to challenge the helicopter first before finishing off Midoriya.

"Hmm ... an impar-vultus creatura ... es felix."

"Huh…?"

"Vos adepto a requiem ... sed ego veni tergum pro postea."

"Eh…?"

"Ego reprehendo sicco quod creatura ... videtur valde intriguing ..."

"The helicopter…no…that thing is…"

"Capiunt tibi post, Kuuga…"

"Stop! Wait!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as I sort of mixed it with horror and action, which Midoriya is having difficulty in dealing with the entity because of possessing some characteristics of a spider,. Despite Midoriya getting a power-up, he is having difficulty in dealing with the entity.

Also Midoriya's form was given a name, which is Kuuga, yet he is unsure given that he couldn't understand the entity's language…

Tsukauchi is now facing danger as the entity decided to deal with him…

The transformed Midoriya, being dubbed as Kuuga, fights off the mysterious while brawling inside the helicopter…but will he be able to deal with this attacker without risking the helicopter to crash?

This would end the first arc of this fic…
