Chapter 15: Arms and Rockets

As the heroes watched Woody sulk, a familiar jingle noise came to their ears. They all turned to look. "Uh Woody?" Harry said. "You might wanna see this!" Ginny said. Woody brought his head up and turned to look. The mutant toys were converging on Buzz! "Buzz!" Woody shouted. "He needs help!" Harry said. Everyone hopped down to the floor and ran in to help Buzz. "Go away! You disgusting freaks!" Woody shouted. Babyface turned and came towards them. Woody screamed as Babyface grabbed Buzz's arm. "Alright back! Back you cannibals!" Woody said as he and Babyface played tug-a-war with the arm while Harry and the others tried to wrestle the other mutants away from Buzz. But Woody lost his grip on the arm and flew back into the wall. Harry race to his side. "You alright?" He asked. Woody only focused on the mutant toys swarming Buzz. "He's still alive, and you're not gonna get him, you monsters!" Woody shouted as he and Harry ran over and helped their friends wrestle the mutant toys away.

When they finally got through, Buzz's arm was reattached. "What?" Kaz asked in surprise. "Hey. Hey they fixed you." Woody said in confusion. He took the arm and shook it. "But- But they're cannibals! We saw them eat those other toys." He said. The mutant toys cleared the way, revealing Janie and Pterodactyl with their heads taped back on to their proper bodies. Woody stood up and stared in shock. "Oh my god!" Hermione said. "They didn't eat them!" Ginny said. "They were just fixing the damage Sid did to them." Neville finished. The mutant toys stared innocently. "Uh sorry. I-I-I thought you were gonna- you know, you know, eat my friend." Woody said.

Suddenly, the mutant toys scattered back under the bed. "Hey! No, no, wait, hey! What's wrong?" Woody called. "What the bloody hell was that?" Ron asked. "Sid!" Sid's mom called from outside the room. "Not now, Mom, I'm busy!" Sid shouted. "Sid!" Woody said in realization. "We gotta hide!" Sarah said. The heroes ran for cover. Woody tried to pick up Buzz, but he was still too depressed. "Buzz, come on! Get up! Use your legs!" He said, trying to drag Buzz, but the progress was slow. "Fine! Let Sid trash you, but don't blame me!" Woody ran to a milkcrate and hid under it.

Sid entered the room carrying a box. "It came! It finally came!" He said with joy. Woody, Harry and the others watched as Sid brought the box to his desk and opened it. "The Big One." Sid said, pulling a rocket out of the box. He put the rocket on his desk and read the warning label. "Extremely dangerous. Keep out of reach of children. Cool. What am I gonna blow? Man. Hey, where's that wimpy cowboy doll?" He asked himself. That made Woody cringe. Sid noticed the milkcrate, walked over and picked it up, but Woody wasn't there. Inside, Woody had his hands and boots pressed to the sides, holding on for dear life. Suddenly, Buzz's laser went off. Sid looked down to see he stepped on Buzz's arm. He knelt down and picked Buzz up. "Yes. I always wanted to put a spaceman into orbit." He said, putting Buzz and the milkcrate onto his desk. He then put his tool box on the milkcrate, knocking Woody back down. Woody quickly hid under a notebook. Harry and his friends peaked out from their hiding places to see what Sid was doing.

Sid took a roll of duck-tape out of the toolbox. He then took Buzz and the rocket and started taping out of view. "Now. Yes." He said as he finished. He then put Buzz, taped to the rocket back on the desk. Woody looked on with fear as a flash of thunder lit the room. Sid looked out the window, seeing that the storm had just started. "Oh no!" He said, walking over to the window. "Oh man!" He slammed his head on the window in frustration. Woody sighed in relief. Sid looked at Buzz, then back at the storm. "Sid Phillips reporting." He said, pretending that he was talking into a NASA headset. "Launch of the shuttle has been delayed due to adverse weather conditions at the launch site. Tomorrow's forecast." He then placed Buzz back on the desk and wound up his alarm clock. "Sunny. Sweet dreams."

Meanwhile back in Andy's room, Andy was all tucked in bed when his mom came in. "I looked everywhere, honey, but all I could find was your hat." She said, handing Andy his cowboy hat. "But what if we leave them behind?" Andy asked with sadness. "Oh, don't worry, honey, I'm sure we'll find Woody and Buzz before we leave tomorrow." Andy's mom said, kissing her son goodnight and turning off his lamp before walking out.

As she left, one of the moving boxes containing Andy's toys started to shake. "I need air!" Rex said, popping out and coughing out packing foam peanuts. "Will you quit moving around?!" Potato Head asked in annoyance. "I'm sorry. It's just that I get so nervous before I travel." Rex whispered. "How'd I get stuck with you as a moving buddy?!" Potato Head asked before ducking back in the box. "Everyone else was picked!" Rex argued before he followed. Bo peeked around the corner, watching Andy sleep before turning to his hat. "Oh Woody. If only you could see how much Andy misses you." She said to herself.
