Web of Reality

In the middle of a dark room, a portal suddenly opened, leading back to Earth-574, followed by a sack with Jack Frost inside being flung from it and landing in the empty room.

"Okay, what's going here?!" Jack asks in anger as he climbed out of the sack and aims his staff around as he noticed there were other people in the room with him. "Who are you?" He asks the man in dragon armor.

"Who are you?" Hiccup asks him as he and Toothless got to their feet and they notice Rapunzel appeared in the room.

"Who is she?" Jack asks, pointing towards Rapunzel.

Rapunzel got to her feet and noticed the two boys. "Who are you guys?"

They then saw there were two more members and saw they were the Arendelle sisters.

"What is going on?" Anna asks the people in the room.

"Where are we?" Elsa asks, looking around the empty space.

"Lady, we know just about as much as you." Hiccup informed her as Toothless started to look around.

"I...is that a dragon?" Rapunzel asks as she quickly hid behind Anna who was surprised by this.

"Yeah, but he won't hurt you." Hiccup promised her. "Unless you give him a reason to."

"Welcome." The voice of Madame Web greets them as she suddenly appeared in the middle of the room and Rapunzel hid behind Anna in fear again.

"You do this a lot?" Anna asked her.

"It is good to see you are all here. I hope that my Warriors treated you well." She says to them all.

"Yeah, I love being shoved in a sack and tossed through a magic portal." Jack states sarcastically.

"Good, that was my idea." Kyle admits with a shrug.

"Jack, meet the others." Madame Web gestured to the others who already introduced themselves to one another. "Hiccup, Anna, Elsa, and Rapunzel."

"Pleasure." Jack says casually as he strolls around the room with his staff raised.

"Hi, excuse me, can someone explain to me why we're here?" Elsa asks the woman.

"Of course, Ms. Elsa. It's time to enlighten you all why you're all here." Madame Web agreed and the Specter raised his hands and created the form of Pitch Black for them all to see.

"Whoa, how's he doing that?" Elsa asks.

"I'm a Fifth Dimensional being." Specter told him whilst getting to the problem at hand whilst the Pitch Black projection also raised his own hands and black mist flows off them. "The reason why you were all brought here is because of this man. Pitch Black." That name seems to mean something to everyone in the room as they all have a shocking reaction to the name. "He has escaped from a place known simply as the Dark Dimension. And now he's causing terror all over reality."

"And you five are our best hope to stopping him from destroying the worlds." Madame Web continues on.

"Wait, you're saying we are supposed to defeat the Boogeyman?" Hiccup asks with a chuckle. "You kidnapped us, and now you expect us to suddenly go after this evil person who we have never met before?"

"Well, when you put it like that..." Alice muttered to herself.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, this isn't the type of thing for me." Jack stated as he strolled around and used his powers to see the floor since most of the room that he's in is complete darkness and he doesn't want to accidentally hit a wall.

"Told you so." Chris replied as he elbowed Kyle.

"I haven't met the guy and have no interest in going into a fight with some man I've never met." Jack stated while constantly spinning his staff. "I mean, I've heard my fair share of tales about the Boogeyman, and I heard about how he can eat your soul with one look. I don't have any immediate plans to have a run in with a guy like that."

"Wait, I'm sorry, did you say eats souls?" Rapunzel asks in fear while stroking her hair to comfort herself.

"Why us?" Elsa asks.

"Because you are a team." Madame Web told them casually while her web throne appears, and she sits on it.

"Wait, we're a what?" Anna asks in confusion.

"A team chosen by the great Madame Web." Iron-Specter said that last part sarcastically.

"What makes you think that I want to be a part of any team?" Jack asks sternly.

"What makes you think any of this is okay? Why would we follow you?" Hiccup questions, agreeing with the rest of them.

"Hey, this was all her idea from the get-go." Garret pointed towards Madame Web.

"I am like many of you. I was given an amazing gift." Madame Web directed her attention towards Elsa and Rapunzel. "I was given the gift to always be able to see the future. But not just the one future. I see the outcome of every decision made anywhere, including in this room. If one of you were to get mad and try to escape, then I saw how it was going to end. That's why I chose this room, this place. It had the best outcome, but there are still a dozen ways this could turn out. And I saw that our best hope to saving all of our worlds is all of you. And not to mention that with a team of brave and young people like yourselves, I'd believe you'd be glad to help out."

"And you thought that we would just accept this?" Anna asks in confusion. "Risk our lives?"

"Hey, didn't you climb a snowy mountain in summer clothes?" Eli asks her, remembering that she already did dangerous things.

"Yeah, a little dangerous." Madame Web shrugged, noticing most of them have once again went to half of the room filled with confusion whilst the other half had looks of terror. "And I know this is a lot. You've been pulled from your homes and are now being asked with being the saviors of your homes. But like it or not, we need you."

"Well, go find someone else." Jack stated and began marching off looking for a door. "I'm not risking my life like that."

"I've already seen it." Madame Web informed him, causing Jack to stop and turn to face her.

"What are you talking about?" Jack asks.

"I saw the many futures and we fail without all of you working together. If not, your worlds burn to the core, followed by a dozen thousand more realities." Madame Web began to show them what will happen to their worlds if Pitch Black succeeds, and they see darkness cover their homes and families and others screaming in pain. "All of the hundreds of people. The people you love. The people you care about. They will all die and burn. Their homes, their hopes, their dreams, they're all counting on you. You can refuse, but all I ask is that you consider the offer."

Emily then heard something and opened a portal for her and the Warriors to walk through and they are inside a brightly lit part of the redesigned Dark Knight Watchtower, which was also being used as their living quarters, and opened a computer screen that showed black dust flowing over an opening back on Earth-574.

"What's happening?" Garret wonders.

"Seems Pitch's starting whatever he's planning." Noah notices.

"Okay, we need to go." Alice declared whilst creating a portal to Earth-574.

"Wait, didn't Madame Web say to not do that?" Garret reminds them.

"She saw millions of possible futures; doesn't mean she saw all of them." Emily stated as Alice finished the portal. "We're going to stop him. You coming?"

Garret sighed in defeat, knowing there's no stopping them. "Well, I'm only going so you guys don't end up killing yourselves."

"That's the spirit." Chris said sarcastically as they all leaped into the portal and were ready for a fight.

Earth-574

They all made their way through the portal and were shocked with what they were seeing.

"What..?" Chris asked in shock as they watched as a cloud of darkness was coming from the forest and attacking the dragons before consuming them and creating demon dragons which immediately fly off.

"Look out!" Kyle sped and moved Alice as a Monstrous Nightmare comes in for a landing and tries fighting the darkness, but it only ends with it consuming him.

Emily quickly held the Nightmare down, but a swarm of Terrors came by and knocked her off balance.

"What is going on?" Eli asks.

"I have to say..." someone said, causing them all to get into a fighting stance before all the surrounding, including their own, shadows all come together and form a man.

He is tall and lithe in appearance. He has pale gray skin, dull golden eyes, and glossy black hair that is styled in spikes that curve towards the back of his head. He wears a black coat that appears to be made of tangible darkness.

Pitch Black.

"This is not what I was expecting from the Monitor of the Multiverse." Pitch Black stated with boredom in his voice. "Sending her lackeys to take me."

"Maybe it's because she doesn't see you worth her time." Kyle stated as he quickly sped over to Pitch, but he vanished the second before Kyle could even get to him.

"Oh, please." Pitch scoffed as his voice echoed throughout the woods and appeared between two trees. "You truly think you can defeat me? Fine!" He said as he raised his hand, and a wave of darkness comes at them.

"Guys..." Garret tries to say something, but Alice stopped him.

"Don't!" Alice warned him. "Don't say it."

"We made a mistake." Emily finished as the darkness consumed them all and they raced in to fight it off.

Web of Reality

Madame Web was standing in the middle of an opening on her throne with Specter watching the kids argue.

"You really think that they can do this?" Specter asks.

"We shall see which path they choose." Madame Web shrugged. "But we can't interfere with their decision. No matter what they choose."

With the others, they have gotten past the introducing themselves to each other and now they begin to wonder what they're going to do.

"So, what do we do?" Jack questions the others in the room.

"You do realize that these complete strangers are asking us to take on the responsibility for the whole world." Elsa reminded them.

"No, they're asking us to save our homes." Anna corrected her sister.

"I don't like it either." Hiccup agreed with Elsa. "I didn't want to hurt anyone, which is why I left my last home. This is crazy. I'm no hero."

"My thoughts exactly." Jack agreed with him.

"But do we really have a choice?" Anna questions them, getting the rooms attention.

"What do you mean, we don't have a choice?" Jack asks. "They're giving us a choice."

Hiccup thought of what she meant and sees she's right and sighs in defeat. "Well, think about it, Frosty." He tells Jack who turned to him sternly.

"Don't call me that!" Jack warns him while raising his staff towards him.

"The world need us to save them. And if we refuse, what happens then?" Hiccup continues.

"So, we just form a team?" Elsa asks with a raised brow.

"Well, what else can we do?" Anna questions. "What if this was what we were meant to become? They said that in the future's she has seen we become a team to save the world."

"They said that was one of a million possible possibilities." Elsa corrected her.

"I already told you it's not for me!" Jack stated, causing Hiccup to groan in frustration.

"Can I say something here?" Rapunzel asks in a nervous tone, getting them to turn to the shy girl who hasn't said much since she showed up. "I know this is crazy...but we were chosen to protect people who need our help. Isn't that at least worth trying?"

The kids all take a moment to think about that question and see that if they were chosen by destiny to save the world, maybe they should at least try it.

"She has a point." Elsa finally agrees.

"Yeah, I'm on board." Hiccup settles.

They then looked over towards Jack and waited for his answer.

"Ugh, fine, I'm in!" Jack finally joins them.

Suddenly Madame Web appeared in the room with a smile. "That's great to hear. Now follow me." She asks of them as a door also appears, but she stops Jack from leaving. "Jack, there's something I need to give to you." She makes a golden box with small doors on the head of it.

"What am I supposed to do with this?" Jack asks in confusion as he took it.

"You'll understand when the time comes." Web assures him before following the others whilst Jack tried to open the box, but nothing happens. "I know you are all scared to take on this task, but I believe in all of you. If anyone can do this, it's all of you."

The five of them look around to one another, no idea what they're going to do just as a flash of light appeared and they turned to see the Warriors appear and drop were all unconscious.

Chris was the one to bring them back and dropped to his knees in pain before anyone could ask what happened to them.

Specter walked over to Kyle and enhanced his powers, allowing him to gasp and try to punch Specter, but that failed as he missed. "We...we were no match for him."

"He's already gotten stronger." Specter whispered as he copied the same procedure to the other Warriors.

Eli gasped as his masked retracted and sat up on his arms. "He's too fast!"

Alice then groaned and woke up while staying down. "I thought we could stop him."

"He could have killed you." Specter stated.

"Why didn't he?" Garret asks.

"So you could come back here and strike fear into our hearts." Madame Web could tell. "But it won't work."

"I...I mean, it might." Anna muttered to herself.

"You can defeat him." Madame Web assured her. "All of you working together. You have something special, making you all powerful enough to stop him." Madame Web then created a portal that lead straight back to their homes. "You may leave, but I have a feeling that you all have made your decision."

The newly formed team members all look around and it seems they've all came to the same conclusion. They're going to fight Pitch Black.

"I was hoping that would be your final decision." Madame Web says as she raised her fingers in a snapping gesture. "Good luck."

Madame Web snapped her fingers and the five of them were consumed by a flash of light and sent on their way on their journey.

Pitch Black is completely confused as to what he's seeing. The greatest, most powerful force in the universe sent these children to challenge him, and not herself.

"New Guardians?" Pitch asks. "I should have known she would find some way to hide behind others, Web. Very well, I accept your challenge." He then turned to reveal he is now somewhere else with an army of ships. "You got your team, I have mine."

He then heard giant steps and sees a tall, well-built man matching his intimidating personality. He wears a prosthetic arm from when his original was either cut, torn, or bitten off by a dragon, and wears his hair and beard in thick dreadlocks. Multiple scars run over his face and body, evidence of his past encounters with dragons. His attire consists of a sleeveless shirt, a thick waist belt and a huge black cape made from dragon skin. Attached to his belt he wears a loincloth, blue trousers, and boots covered in fur.

"Drago." Pitch greeted his enemy in crime. "I hope my gift has been to your liking." He gestured to the millions of recently captured dragons who are all contained, but still fighting containment.

"It is a move in the right direction." Drago stated before marching over to the fighting Nightmare. "Drop the ropes." He demands the men who obey him and run away.

The Nightmare watches as Drago approaches him and tries to roar to scare him off, which does nothing before he shoots fire at him, causing Drago to raise his cape to block off the fire. He waited for the Nightmare to stop, and it roared at him.

Drago took his staff and roared back at it before spinning his staff in the air while continuing to yell, causing the Nightmare to stop as he slammed the staff down and the Nightmare lowered its head and Drago places his boot against its snout.

"You belong to me now." Drago informed it with a smile.

Pitch sees his work is done with a smile and quickly vanishes into the shadows off to worlds unknown.

Well, not unknown.

Gothel made it back to the tower and called out for her daughter. Well, 'adoptive' daughter. Mother Gothel is a very elderly woman, but it's masked by the healing powers of Rapunzel.

She is rather voluptuous with a curvaceous figure, and she is a tall, slender woman. Her skin is flawless, smooth, and a shade of very pale ivory. She has large gray eyes, and her eyelids have brown eye shadow. Her cheeks are dusted with blush, probably to warm up her pale skin tone. Her curly, black hair falls past her shoulders, and is rather thick and glossy, with three curls hanging over her forehead.

"Rapunzel, let down your hair!" Gothel called out but was met with silence. "Rapunzel?"

After still getting no response, Gothel starts to become worried and raced to the back of the tower where she keeps a hidden entrance blocked to enter the tower. She climbed up the stairway and through the floor to enter the tower.

Once inside, she looks around a still has no sight of Rapunzel as she searched the entire tower.

"Rapunzel?" Gothel cried as she checked the bed, finding nothing. She then checked the wardrobe, and there was still nothing. Her last resort, being the window curtain and saw there was still nothing.

Gothel begins to panic where she might be as a dark shadow comes passing through her.

"Ahh, children." Gothel looked around at the sound of the voice. "Always wandering off."

"Who's there?" Gothel asks as she quickly grabbed a dagger from a nearby drawer. "Where are you?!"

"Oh, have you forgotten about me? After all these years?" The voice asks as Pitch Black forms with a gigantic grin on his face. "It has only been over five hundred years."

"Pitch?" Gothel asks in shock as she slowly approached him. "I...I thought..."

Pitch came floating towards her and smiles warmly. "I was imprisoned, yes. But I broke free. I came back...to you." He then leaned in and pulled Gothel into a kiss.

Gothel was surprised but was happy to have him back to her and returned the gesture.

"And I know where she is." Pitch informed her.

"You know who took Rapunzel?" Gothel asks.

"She's with a group of others who are planning to destroy me." Pitch said angrily.

"Then what do we do?" Gothel questioned.

"We do what we planned to do all along." Pitch told her. "We rule the world. Together. All we have to do is kill her friends, and we will live forever with no fear of death."

"Then how do you plan to do that?" Pitch questioned.

"You know I have my ways." Pitch said with a smile. "You haven't forgotten your abilities, have you?"

Gothel smiled evilly as she blinked and her eyes glowed red before the room began to swirl and the two vanish from sight and off into the universe.

A hunter. A being of darkness. And now...a sorcerer.

(A/N) Was Mother Gothel a witch in some form of media, or is it a case of the Mandela effect with me? Because I swear I remember her being a witch/sorcerer somewhere. Might've been Once Upon A Time.
