Rrwd - Maybe, maybe not if you mean one-on-one. But they will eventually meet all of the villians they're facing. Because that's the only way they can defeat them. Berk is their next stop.
The next morning, the team finally reached the kingdom and began crossing the bridge.
Rapunzel jumped around in giddy as she was the first to start crossing the bridge. "Come on! Hurry up!"
Elsa was right behind everyone and looked to Hiccup. "She has to be getting this energy from somewhere."
"She just must be a hyper person by nature." Hiccup shrugged as they followed everyone up to the marketplace which was the first place that was in Corona.
"Wow!" Anna said in amazement as she looked around at all of the decorations that were being set up for the celebration.
"They take their celebrations seriously here." Jack commented.
Hiccup saw that the whole place was more crowded than he expected and thought it'd be best if Toothless stayed out of sight. "Toothless, go and see if you can find somewhere to hide until dark."
Toothless understood why he was asking him of this and ran off to hide.
Rapunzel then took a step forward and was almost hit by a cart that came past and backed up, only to accidentally smacked into someone. "Excuse me. Sorry." She then tries to get out of the way, but people are beginning to step on her hair.
Raya and Sisu were grabbing the other end of her hair and were helping her get it off the ground.
"Okay, we've got to do something about this hair issue." Jack informed them all.
"He's right. We can't carry it around like this all day." Raya agreed.
Hiccup was thinking for a minute and then looked over to the fountain where three little girls were doing each other's hair and he got an idea. He did a quick whistle to get their attention and they looked over to him. "Hey, want a real challenge, kids?"
All of them looked shocked at seeing the hair and were excited at the idea.
As they were working on Rapunzel's hair, the others just watched and waited whilst Hiccup was talking to a few of the people about getting a meeting with the King and Queen. According to what they say, they're going to be busy with the preparations until the end of the day so they'll have to wait until then and use Elsa's title in order to get in at all.
Hiccup then walked back to the group with the news of the plan. "So we need to wait until nightfall and the celebrations to end in order to get an audience with the King and Queen."
"Great. So we just do what until then?" Jack asked him.
"Just...wander." Hiccup guessed. "How's Rapunzel?" He asked and looked over to the girl and see that her hair is all tied up and filled with flowers all the way down.
Jack looked over at her with a shock and amazed by how she looks, getting a smirk from Hiccup. "What? What are you looking at?"
Hiccup smiled and bobbed his head before rolling his eyes. "Nothing."
Throughout most of the day, the group just wandered around to see what they could find. They accidentally also split off in groups of two each to just wander around the market with Raya and Anna getting them some more food resources, Elsa and Hiccup were wandering around and he was showing her just how much of the world he's traveled in the library, Jack decided to stick with Rapunzel and she noticed a giant stone wall.
On this wall was what she had to assume was of King Frederic and Queen Arianna with a little girl who had short flowing hair and giant green eyes. Another little girl was on the step leading up to it putting a flower down on it.
"It's for the lost princess." She said to her younger sibling.
Rapunzel looked up to the memorial and wondered what happened to the princess and felt like she knew her from somewhere. Except that her train of thought was interrupted when she heard a band playing behind her.
Hiccup and Elsa came past and was shocked when they noticed that Rapunzel was dancing around in the clearing. As she kept dancing around, she started dragging other people into the center and kept dancing.
That's when Raya and Anna came past and were shocked at what they were seeing, but Anna immediately got into it and danced along.
Hiccup smiled as he leaned onto the side of a building and watched as the rest of the team slowly began to dance along, except for Elsa who just watched while laughing. And that's when Jack had a certain idea when he walked over to the two of them and sneaked up behind them before using his power to blast them with a gust of wind that forced them into the crowd.
Hiccup then immediately had his arm grabbed as did Elsa and were dragged around whilst Jack laughed.
"Jack!" Hiccup screamed through his teeth in anger at the invisible man.
Jack bursts out laughing, happy to be invisible to everyone when it seems Rapunzel had other ideas and dragged Jack into the crowd and worked around him being invisible to make it look like she's dancing alone.
Meanwhile, Hiccup was trying his best to dance with the disadvantage of his peg leg when Elsa came over and helped him dance.
As the day went on, Hiccup used a bit of money for everyone to have these small cloths with the sun symbol all over Corona to have. As the sun began to set, Rapunzel was finishing up with some painting she was working on with Sisu helping out.
Finally with the sun beginning to set and the town beginning to close down, the team all saw they were going to begin lighting the lanterns. Wanting to make things even more special for Rapunzel and asked for a favor from Elsa who created them a boat and he drifted off shore with Jack.
Toothless laid down and was watching everyone else sit on the docks whilst Jack and Rapunzel went off with Pascal.
"What is up with Jack and Rapunzel recently?" Raya asked Hiccup.
"Meh, I think our imaginary friend is gaining a crush." Hiccup took a guess.
And with the dark streets completely empty, Gothel and Grimmel were able to march in with nobody else around.
"Ah, Corona." Grimmel said with an over exasperated sigh. "Such wonder, such hope. It's sickening."
"It's good that we're here to finally put it out of its misery." Gothel said happily.
As night falls, they wait for the show to begin and Jack notices something wrong.
"You doing okay?" Jack asks.
"I'm terrified." Rapunzel tells him. "I've been looking out a window for 18 years, dreaming about what it might be like when those lights rise in the sky. What if it's not everything that I dreamed it would be?"
"It will be." Jack promises her while placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"And what if it is? What do I do then?" Rapunzel wonders.
"Sometimes not knowing what comes next is the best thing to imagine." Jack says and later on, the show begins and the first lantern is lit and are starting to float around followed by others.
"All those days watching from the windows. All those years outside looking in. All that time never even knowing." She sings in her head and runs around the boat to see the first one and the rest of them. "Just how blind I've been. Now I'm here blinking in the starlight. Now I'm here suddenly I see. Standing here, it's oh so clear. I'm where I'm meant to be. And at last I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted. And at last I see the light. And it's like the sky is new. And it's warm and real and bright. And the world has somehow shifted." She sings as all the different shaped lanterns float around. "All at once, everything looks different. Now that I see you." She faces Jack who has two of his own lanterns with him for them.
Back on the land, Hiccup and the others watched everything as the lanterns float around the six of them. Elsa looked up with a smile as she's never seen anything like this due to the years of being isolated and looked to Hiccup with her giant grin.
"All those days, I've been chasing down one dream." Hiccup starts singing in his head. "All these years, I've been living inside a blur. All that time, never truly seeing things the way they were. Now she's here, shining in the starlight. Now she's here suddenly I know, If she's here it's crystal clear." Hiccup takes her hands in in his and Elsa gladly held it. "I'm where I'm meant to be."
"And at last I see the light." The four of them starts singing together.
"And it's like the fog has lifted." Hiccup and Jack sing.
"And at last I see the light." They sing together.
"And it's like the sky is new." Rapunzel and Elsa sings.
"And it's warm and real and bright." They sing in sync. "And the world has somehow shifted. All at once, everything is different. Now that I see you." The two parties move in closer and Pascal turns red and covered his eyes as Jack and Rapunzel lean in close. "Now that I see you."
But that's when they felt something was wrong and Jack looked over to see the Druun are back.
"What's wrong?" Rapunzel asked and looked over to see the Druun. "Oh no..."
"I gotta help them!" Jack said to Rapunzel who understood and he flew off towards them.
Hiccup and Elsa were stuck in their own world before Elsa saw the moving black hole heading to them.
"Look out!" Elsa cried as she pushed Hiccup out of the way then shot a blast of mist at the Druun, freezing it solid.
"The Druun?" Raya asked in shock. "How'd they get here?"
"It doesn't matter. We need to get out of here!" Hiccup said as Jack came down and slammed the ground that froze all of the Druun in seconds.
"We need to go!" Jack tells everyone.
Hiccup then looked to the castle and knew they still needed to at least try to see if they're alive. "Sisu. Get Rapunzel and everyone else out of here. Elsa, we need to go and see if the king and queen are still alive."
Everyone agreed that's the best plan as any and split off to do their parts.
Toothless flew Hiccup and Elsa into the castle and they found the throne room was empty and completely dark. Hiccup ignited Inferno in order to see around the room and Elsa got ready to fight anyone who comes.
"Your Majesties?" Hiccup called out, wondering where they are.
"Where is everyone?" Elsa asked Hiccup when he smacked into something that was revealed by the light of Inferno to be the king and queen holding each other and turned to stone.
"Ahh!" Elsa shrieked in fear as she backed away and Hiccup saw they were too late.
"It's okay. Looks like the Druun are gone." Hiccup assured her. "Nobody's here."
"Nobody?" A familiar voice asked, scaring the two of them as Pitch suddenly revealed his horrifying grin.
"Pitch!" Hiccup cried as he swung his sword at the face, but he vanished before he could hit him. "Come out, you coward! Show yourself!"
"Oh, the Dragon Boy is threatening me." Pitch's voice echoed through the castle as he laughed. "I'm so terrified! Don't make me laugh!"
Elsa then kept looking around to where Pitch is, not realizing he was walking up behind her. He raised a hand of dark dust and was just about to touch her with it when Toothless noticed him and blasted him, and they didn't get a hand on Elsa.
Elsa shrieked when Toothless blasted at her, and that's when she also noticed Pitch and blasted him. "Hiccup, we need to go. We can't take him alone."
Hiccup looked back at Elsa and knew she was right. "You're right. Let's get out of here."
They then climbed back on top of Toothless and flew off, leaving Pitch behind as he regained his strength after getting hit by a plasma blast. He then begins to laugh as he's got them right where they belong. Just out of arm's length.
"Oh yes, go ahead and run." Pitch said as he watched the Night Fury escape in the distance. "For next time we meet...all of your pathetic scrambling will be for nothing."
