AN: Here is the second chapter of Prime Objective. Once again I want to state that this story was not beta-ed so it's coming with only my corrections. I tried to get as many as possible, but I'm notorious for always missing the obvious ones. I don't understand why I can always pick at the details, but just skim over a glaring error.

Gohan sighed as he ran his hand through his stubborn hair and scratched the back of his head. He stretched his arms over his head as he saw his teacher putting the last of his stuff away. It was the end of another boring day at Orange Star High School. Most of his peers had all but dashed as soon as the bell rung, but he decided to take his time after all there really was no hurry. Plus if he could make a certain someone, who was impatiently waiting for him to exit, mad then he considered it a bonus.

He had joined this school less than a month ago against his wishes, but one does not easily defy the Son matriarch. Plus, she kept pestering him until Gohan could take no more; he gave up just to stop her endless rants. 'However after days like today I wish I would have fought back a little stronger,' he lamented. School was just so boring and pointless in his opinion, and everyone seemed so far behind, or maybe he was just too advanced; either way it was doing him no favors.

The classroom was almost empty, except for a few groups of students that were talking. The Saiyan hybrid stood up and picked up his bag that had been resting alongside his feet. He placed it on his chair and began putting his stuff away, but from the corner of his eye he could spot a familiar black pigtail. 'Satan's finest,' he scoffed at the idea that she was considered one of the best non-police officers.

He couldn't understand why the daughter of the most successful fraud of the world kept hounding him. Of course he knew who Hercule was; to say that Gohan was displeased would be the biggest understatement of the century. Gohan just couldn't understand how oblivious people could be to the truth, but in the end he just shrugged it off.

Although he knew he should not paint Videl with the same brush that he did for her father, at time it was hard to not to. She held the same pride and arrogance that her father was known for. She believed herself to be invincible, going as far doing reckless things like jumping out of her hovership with no other form a protection. But it doesn't end there; he had the great pleasure of knowing her in person as one of his classmates.

Ever since his first day she continues to interrogate him to find out about his past, a past is not too thrilled to share as he considers it an invasion of privacy. Still he just dodges her questions about his past, as well as his connection the Gold Fighter. On his first day he decided to save a bank that was being robbed, but foolishly thought that if he went in his Super Saiyan form no one would notices. He failed to see the folly in that plan that he had the same clothes; since then she would haunt him all day for information, and follow him after school. At first he found it odd, but now he finds it downright scary.

'City people I guess. I'll just ask Bulma later on for a solution; she should know given she lives with these city folk day in and day out. I'll just head to Capsule Corp after I lose my 'tail' today,' he pondered as he put the last of his school supply in his bag.

He swung the strap over his head, where it landed on his black vest. He pulled on his long sleeves to adjust them to how they were before. He looked ahead and walked down the steps to the front of the classroom and exit.

The orange-pant wearing teen made his way towards the exit of the facility, completely aware of the raven-haired teen that was 'discretely' following him. However Gohan counted more steps being taken by his stalker. Still he tried to make it seems as he didn't even know as he walked along the streets of Satan City.

Finally, after many minutes of window shopping and pointless walking around the city, he decided to end this once and for all. He just couldn't take the fact that this would be a normalcy throughout his High School career. He was no criminal, and Gohan would be damned if he was treated as such.

Ten minutes after walking out of the city, he reached an open area of the forest. An area he knew no longer had any cover from any nearby tree. He took a couple of steps into the field and spoke out loud for his follower to listen, "After that line of trees there is no more places you can hide, Videl." He didn't turn around as he continued, "It's been almost a month since I entered this school, and not one day have you let up on your following. I want to know why, because I doubt you do this for every new kid, so what gives?"

Videl walked out from the final line of trees, but she wasn't the only one. Behind her were Erasa and Sharpner, as they too walked out of their cover. Videl took the charge and exclaimed, "You knew I was following you, how? I made sure to stay out of sight!"

"You aren't the quietest person I know. In fact you little runs to catch up to me alerted me every time," Gohan said as he turned around. It was then that he noticed the other two, and reason he kept hearing more steps being taken; it wasn't that Videl was taking more steps but he had two other pursuers. "Oh, now this is a surprise, I understand Videl as she has been doing this since day one, but what are you two doing here?" Gohan asked.

Erasa just bowed her head in embarrassment, while Sharpner looked on with a bored expression. Videl had her back to her friends and stood in between them and Gohan. She fixed her glare on the young Saiyan.

Since no one spoke up Gohan continued, "You know I'm disappointed. I thought better of you Erasa, after all you seemed the most genuine out of all of them, but I guess in the end you are all the same. My life is my life, and I choose who I let in. And you, Sharpner, what are you doing here after all you never seemed to care what or who I am?" Gohan adjusted the strap across his torso.

"Look Nerd-boy, if it were up to me I would be anywhere other than here, but I got to be here to protect my babe if you turn out to be some freak," Sharpner smugly responded. "Just show her how you get home every day and my babe will leave you alone, and I can get back to more important things, like working out my left bicep."

Erasa chimed in afterwards, "Gohan… I know this looks compromising, but you have to believe me that I'm not always here. I don't follow you, but Videl dragged us this time."

"Enough Erasa!" Videl interjected. "How about you answer some questions Gohan, now that I have you here, like for instance how a boy that says he lives so far away is out here in the middle of nowhere?"

Gohan smiled as he muttered, "You never learn."

"What was that?" Videl inquired.

"I said—," but Gohan didn't finish that sentence. He started getting a chill, like they weren't the only ones in the forest.

Out of the forest a group of five green skinned humanoids with red jackets walked out. Their cackles sounded like something between a snorts and a rooster's morning call. Three of those carried weapons of the like that Gohan had never seen before. It had to be held with two hands as it had a long and wide barrel. Five more jumped from the trees and landed behind Gohan; however these five didn't have any of the weird weaponry the other three carried.

To the human it sounded like one began cawing, but to Gohan it seemed like they were speaking. He just couldn't figure out what they were saying. Erasa and Sharpner immediately ran closer behind Videl.

The pigtailed teen turned to the raven haired boy and screamed, "What's the big plan Gohan!? You're going to kill us here! Is that why you made us come all the way out here!?"

Gohan just rolled his eyes and shouted back, "Right cause when someone orders a hit, he asked the killers to point their weapons at him."

Videl looked around and also noted what Gohan was insinuating, all ten were looking directly at him; not even paying attention to them.

One of the humanoids standing near the forest gleefully cawed as he pointed at Gohan. He raised his hand, and the other three raised their odd weapons. He pointed forward once again, and this time all three fired.

Videl ran and got in between the crazy green-skinned madman and her classmate. She might not trust him, but she was still Videl Satan and she would be damned if someone got injured under her watch. She saw as three continuous blue beams rocketed towards her. Just as they were about to hit her, she felt something grab her from her midsection shoot up momentarily before feeling as she landed a few meter away. Then the same thing that held her around her midsection took her off her feet and jumped once again. This time she saw as she landed closer to the middle of the open area.

Gohan released the two girls that he held under his arm once his feet touched the ground, and just dumped Sharpner that hanging on his shoulder. He thought about running to the forest, but he needed to have eyes on his foes, and the trees would make that quite hard. He saw as the red-jacketed humanoid were running or flying towards them.

'Well there goes hiding my power; still the safety of these guys is more important than some secret,' he reasoned. "Stay behind me," Gohan yelled to his recovering classmates.

"Who are they?" asked a coughing Videl from the vertigo.

"I don't know, but they don't seem friendly," Gohan answered as he positioned himself in front of his classmates in one of his stances.

"What do you want?!" Gohan barked when the enemies stopped in front of him. It was then that Gohan noticed they all carried scouters of some kind. They looked different, but nonetheless he recognized a scouter when he saw one.

The front one cawed once again as he pointed forward and the three once again shot at them. Gohan figured they must be left over forces of Frieza, and decided to block all three beams with one hand. All three hit his palm, and he smiled as he noticed it did nothing. His momentarily victory was cut short as be began noticing the beam begin to encompass his arms.

Gohan pulled with all his might, but it held on to him. What's worse is that he began to feel as if his arm was on fire. He screamed in pain as the other ten happily cawed. The three holding the firearms kept steaming the beam towards the young Saiyan. Gohan landed on his knees, as he gripped his arm with his other hand, just to see as it began to spread to the other hand. He quickly jerked the other hand away, but the plasma-like beam began to encompass that arm as well.

Videl moved towards Gohan but he stopped her with painful scream, "Stay back!"

"How can you tell me to stay back?!" Videl exclaimed. "I can help!"

Gohan lifted his bowed head, his eyes had turned teal, and without turning around he yelled, "Don't interfere!" His arms were all but covered in the plasma as he kept thrashing. The pain was unbearable, as he felt the plasma trying to rip him apart piece by piece.

From above, a young girl with raven hair landed on the middle shooter destroying the weapon he was carrying. She extended her arms and gripped the two other's weapons and crushed the barrel. The orange-bandana wearing girl hunched momentarily then extended her limbs in every direction releasing a Kiai in all direction, sending all the aliens flying.

She turned around and noticed a kneeling Gohan a few meters away. Both of arms rested to his sides, and seemed to be emitting smoke. "Oh no, papa!" she yelled as she ran to him.

She pulled to a full stop in front of Gohan and could clearly see the burned and blackened marks up and down his arm. His fingertips seemed as if they were burned off. She lifted his hanging head and saw his closed eyes. "Come on papa! Wake up!" she desperately called out while lightly slapping him over and over to get a reaction.

Videl saw as this red-shirt wearing girl, who could not be any older than fifteen, come out of nowhere and had single-handily taken care of the threat, but what shocked her mostly was the fear she displayed as she gripped her classmate; though it confused her that she kept referring to him as 'papa.'

"Wake up!" she cried out. Slowly she saw as his eyes began to flicker. Finally she saw as he began shaking his head slowly.

"Who are you?" Gohan throatily inquired to the girl in front of him.

She took a step back and smiled, "My name is Pan. I'm here to protect you," she declared. She turned around as Gohan slowly got on his own two feet. She could see those red-jacketed aliens approaching once again.

Gohan slowly walked in front of Pan, "Stay behind me young one. They have those weird weapons." He tried to lift his arms but they wouldn't respond, "I can't move my arms." He swallowed as he saw them heading towards them again, "We need to escape and let the others know."

Pan ran around her father, "Maybe you should stay behind me. Those weapons won't affect me. They were designed to target you specifically. They destroy your specific DNA strand or something like that. I'll be fine. Tell me can you fly?"

"You know Ki?" asked a shocked Gohan. He attempted to pull some and found it functional, "Yes, I can. We need to leave immediately. The others are sure to have noticed by now. They will help us for sure. I can't use my arms, but can you protect the three behind me?"

As father-daughter came up with a plan, a heavy golden armored teen landed harshly on one knee right next to them. The maroon-haired fighter began to get up, but arched his arm back as he did so; just as he was vertical he sent a devastating uppercut to Pan, who was still shell-shocked from his entrance. The force behind the new arrival's fist proved to be too much for Pan to handle as she was sent spiraling to the forest.

"You stay away from him you fiend. My father is under my protection," the armored teen shouted at the flying Pan. He turned to the advancing green-skinned aliens, "That goes for you too. Turn back now, and I may forgive this transgression." Now that he was standing, anyone could see that he was slightly taller than Gohan.

The red-jacketed enemies cawed furiously at the armored teen. "Fascinating," he said while dropping the box he was holding. He clicked a button on the device in his ear.

"—better move, or we will be forced to destroy you as well. We only want Son Gohan!" the bruised green-skinned alien said.

"I'm sorry, but my father has an important meeting to attend. The Koruz hate to be left waiting," he replied. The translator in his ear transmitting what he was saying in a language that each person in the vicinity would understand.

"Father?! Just what is going on Gohan! He looks the same age as us, how can he be your son!?" shrieked a confused Videl. A shaking Erasa and Sharpner nodded as well.

For the first time the maroon-haired turned around slightly, but did a double take when he saw his 'father.' "You're not– I mean—father you look so young, how can such a thing be possible?" asked a perplexed armored teen.

A speeding Pan came flying as fast as possible, and landed both of her boots on the distracted new arrival's face. She flipped in the air and landed in a new stance against armored teen. "I don't know who you are, but you made a terrible mistake sucker punching me."

The armored teen got back up as he wiped his mouth, "How amusing little lady, you have quite the kick there, but no harm shall come to my father. If your wish is to harm to him, then you must go through me."

Pan looked back at her father, but he had the same confused expression as her. She turned back to the now standing maroon-haired young man. "Who are you, what do you want?"

The leader of the green-skinned enemies, tired of being ignored, decided to bring out his weapon. It looked exactly like the other three that were destroyed. He pointed at Gohan and fired.

The armored young man and Pan immediately jumped in front of the approaching beam.

Gohan stepped forward and shouted at both of his 'children,' "Watch out, those weapon can hurt you!" He tried running forwards, but was too late as saw it impacted both of them." To his surprise they just stood there, as is nothing was happening. At first he thought the same might be happening, where it doesn't hurt at first but eventually it begins attach itself and burn, but after a few seconds he didn't even hear a grunt from them. Finally the pain was too great and he fell forward.

Finally the plasma-beam dissipated. The maroon-haired fighter turned to his smaller companion, "You jumped to protect my father, why? Are you not trying to destroy him?"

Pan rolled her eyes. "I'm protecting my papa; it's what that strange hologram told me to do."

"Rize, you asked for my name, my soldiers used to refer to me as Rize," he stated with a somber tone while holding his hand out. "So you received one as well; interesting, there were others that were sent, but how can he father you? He would never deceive my mother," inquired the armored young man. "Furthermore, why is my father so young?"

Pan took his hand. "Name's Pan. Don't know, time-travel my guess, but then again holo-man said he would explain when he arrives; whenever that is."

"I'm so happy you guys could come to an understanding, but WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE FREAKS DOING NOW!" shouted Sharpner.

Rize and Pan turned to the red-jacketed enemies and saw one was powering up the gun once again, while the others had encircle them.

"It gets worse," stated Rize. "That one over there just called for reinforcements. In a few seconds we'll be swarmed." He shouted over his shoulder to a resting Gohan where Videl and Erasa were trying to see what they could do for the burns, but they had nothing to help, "Father, can you fly?"

"Yes, he could, but I think he just passed out. We were planning on escaping me when you sucker punched me," answered Pan for her resting father. "By the way, how can you understand them?" she asked.

"My apologizes, I deemed you a threat. As for your question, I have this translator which allows me to speak with anyone as long as the device knows their language; also it translates my language for everyone," Rize admitted. "You're free to take one; they are in that box that I lay down. They work as communicators as well."

He clicked the translator once again and faced directly at Pan, "Alright new plan, you shall stay with father and protect him. I'll fight these foes to the best of my abilities. We try to make it to the forest, and from there we find a way to escape under the cover of the terrain. It seems all of our opponent have red-jackets; if you see one, take them out."

"Um didn't you just tell our plan to the enemy thanks to your translator," Pan wondered.

Rize smiled, his crimson eyes filled with amusement, he clicked his translator two times and assured, "I know how to use my translator, young lady. You are the only one that understood my plan. Ready?" he asked his companion, once he saw a nod from the corner of his eye he charged. "For his Majesty!" he yelled as he ran towards the only weapon holder.

"That guy is weird at times," laughed Pan. She ran to her resting father and put one arm over her shoulder. "We need to get my papa out of here. Rize is buying us time. You guys, help me take papa. I'll clear a route." She handed the hurting Gohan to Videl and Sharpner. She walked up to Erasa and handed her the box that Rize has been carrying and her papa's satchel, while putting one of the translators on. She then walked in front with a Ki ball in each hand, as blasted any red-jacket that got too close. She looked up, and could see Rize fighting the hordes of red-jackets that had arrived. "Come on, we don't have a lot of time."

"Says, the pipsqueak," muttered Sharpner. "How is it that you look so light, but you weight so much Nerd-boy?"

"My question exactly," responded Videl. She just couldn't believe what she was seeing. All her life she was told that what she was seeing was impossible, but here she was following a girl that was producing balls of light, explosive one at that. And the other one is in the air, fighting and blasting others as well. "I swear, when I get a chance Gohan, you won't get out of this one this time," she muttered.

Erasa walked with the other, but kept jumping each time an explosion happened a little too close for comfort. "You just had to know, huh Videl. I think this the definition of 'curiosity killed the cat' and we're that cat. I just hope Gohan is okay," Erasa lamented as she saw the boy she only met a month ago being dragged by her two friends.

"Calm down Erasa, we're doing find right? We'll be okay," Videl attempted to pacify her friend. She, even in her wildest dreams, could not have come predicted that when she woke up today in the morning would be roped into a situation like this. "I'm sure the police must have heard the commotion and are on their way."

Videl called out to the girl in front, who was at the moment pounding a green-skinned alien on the ground, "How much longer?"

Pan looked back at the raven haired teen; she turned back to the bloodied alien on the floor, picked him up and gave him a strong kick to send him far away, "Goal," she muttered. She turned back to the person, who by now she had identified as her mother Videl, and responded, "Just until the trees. Pick up the pace!"

Sharpner huffed as he took another step. Rize passed once again clearing any flying enemies that almost reached Gohan once again. "I swear I feel him getting closer with each fly-by." He felt Videl stop, and was about to ask what happened when he looked in front and yelped. In front floated a scantly bronze armor wearing, lavender-skinned beauty; she held her golden Bō staff with one hand as she glared with her saffron eyes at them.

She spun her Bō staff once before pointing it directly at them, "Release him at once, and I will not hurt you. Fail to comply and I'll be obligated to use force."

"Um… little girl," Sharpner yelled at Pan.

Pan turned around, and saw a young woman with curly amber hair pointing her Bō staff at her father. She ran and stood in front of the new arrival. She stretched her arms as she glared at the taller woman.

"What business do you have with him?" Pan demanded. Since she wasn't wearing a red-jacket she decided to ask her, and not have another Rize incident.

"I want my father turned over to me, immediately," she responded.

Pan lowered her hand as soon as she heard that and smiled, "Good, we're on the same side. Seem Rize was right and there are more coming. You got the message as well right? Look, we are trying to get him to safety—" she was cut off by the screams of charging green-skinned alien. Pan quickly launched a Ki that sent him flying in an unknown direction. "—but I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment. The holo-man wasn't kidding when he said they have superior numbers."

"How can I trust your word, and what happened to his arms? They're burned! Tell me what happened?!" the lavender-skinned beauty exclaimed.

"You can't trust my word. There is not a damn thing I can say right now that will make you believe me, but I am trying to save my papa, and apparently your father as well." Pan began walking forward and calling the others to keep moving. "Holo-man was a little vague, and because of that I got this bruise here," she pointed to her cheek which had reddened a little, "Rize thought I was the enemy and he attacked me. I'm trying to avoid getting a matching bruise on my other cheek."

"Who is this Holo-man and Rize you speak off," she asked walking alongside her, but always keeping an eye on the man being carried behind.

"Rize is that armor wearing guy flying around, taking out all these annoying flies. Holo-man is what I'm calling the guy in the hologram that came to us," Pan replied while shooting another group that was getting to close. Rize was passing by at that moment so she screamed, "Rize, get in gear! These guys are getting to close," referring to the flying ones she was also taking out.

"I don't trust you, but I'll stand by you as long as you don't hurt him. One motion that I find suspicious, and I'll take you out myself," the amber-haired female related.

"Wouldn't have it any other way," Pan smiled. "Any alien with a red-jacket is the target. Go bananas on them."

The Bō staff wielder nodded before blasting a group in front. She took her staff and hit a nearby opponent two consecutive hits with each side of her staff, then pushed one end into her opponent midsection and launched him into the air. She prepared a Ki blast with her other hand and threw it at the now airborne enemy above, blowing him up.

Rize cut across the smoke as he was doing his fly-through. It had spooked him when one enemy suddenly appeared in his path before exploding out of nowhere. He looked back and saw a lavender-skinned woman with her hand up. "Careful!" he yelled before blasting off once again to a different incoming group.

He was about to begin his campaign when suddenly most of the group exploded. A smoke screen appeared where the incoming group had once been. Suddenly two teens blew out of the smoke, blasting past Rize but not before sending two Ki Blast at him as they passed him. Rize extended his hands and grabbed both incoming Ki blasts, and with some effort he managed to redirect them upwards. He heaved in mid-air as he regained his breathing. The armored young man looked to his side and saw a red-Gi wearing teen floating there with his hand extended forward, a ball of Ki in hand.

"He looks pretty strong, huh Vasco?" Auburn-haired teen called out to his twin situated on the opposite side of Rize in the same position.

Rize looked behind him, and saw another that looked exactly like the one in front of him, or as the one in front called him, Vasco.

"Tell us where our father is, and Rem and I won't make you Swiss cheese," threaten the freckled face fighter behind him.

Rize snorted but raised his hand, "You're here to protect your father huh?"

"That's correct," chorused both.

"Well in that case then we are on the same side. We all received the call, and now we are trying to fight these foes. We can stand here and speak, or you shall help me clear these peons. The choice is your but I shall return to my previous activity." Rize lowered his hands and began floating away.

Both shoot their Ki slightly in front of Rize to stop him, "We asked you a question," growled Rem.

Rize disappeared and slammed his armored knee into Rem's stomach. "Don't trifle with me boy."

"Rem!" Vasco yelled as he flew towards the slumped form of his brother resting on Rize's bent leg. He was about to hit him from behind, when Rize caught him by his neck.

Rize brought the captured teen forward and menacingly scolded, "You wish to protect your father, but you have yet to even prove yourselves against me. This is war kid, one mistake and it could mean the difference between your allies returning on own two feet or in a box. You wish to protect your father, then fight, but not your ally." He released both teens to fall to the ground below.

"Seems the party has already started," announced another teen, but this one had raven hair and most notably a Saiyan tail.

Rize turned to the teen, "Ally or foe, which are you?"

The tailed Saiyan shrugged, "Ally, and those you just disposed of." He was of course referring to Rem and Vasco.

"Allies as well, but they just need a nice shove in the right direction. Do you require one as well?" Rize asked while raising an eyebrow.

The young raven-haired fighter laughed, "No, I'm good. Just need directions as to who to attack and who to avoid as it seems you're one of the party planners here."

"RIZE!" Both heard Pan's yell.

Rize turned away from Pan and responded quickly, "I must be going, but if you see a red-jacket you shoot; anything else you enquire their motives and if you don't like their response you shoot. Got it?"

"Aye, aye sir," the tailed Saiyan replied.

Rize just shook his head and took off towards the overwhelmed Pan. He arrived and immediately started blasting the hordes that had surrounded them.

The tailed Saiyan looked on as the heavy armored man flew over to a cluster of green-skinned aliens.

He was about to take off towards a different group that was cawing his name, when he saw the billow of a white cape. He turned to look slightly to left. Piccolo stood there with his arms crossed.

"Piccolo!" yelled the Saiyan, but the Namekians didn't immediately respond so he continued, "It's so good to see a familiar face. I was just about to play a round of 'Destroy a Red-Jacket' care to join?"

"Who are you?" growled Piccolo.

"Come on Piccolo don't joke about that. You know who I am. I'm the son of your student after all," snickered the onyx-eyes Saiyan.

"Gohan?" asked a confused Namekian.

"Did you have any other students that I didn't know about, eh Piccolo?" he retorted.

"No, it's just… Gohan is only eighteen and you only look a few years younger than him, you can't be his son!" Piccolo exclaimed.

"Sixteen, and thanks for remembering; some godfather you are." He turned away as he began seeing in the distance a few more dots rapidly flying towards them. He could also see the police in the distance also trying to make their way towards the field, but were blocked by amounts of red-jackets. "Wait, you said my father is only eighteen?"

Piccolo nodded, "Don't tell me you're from the future?" he stated with a sigh. "What have you come back to warn us about?"

"Now that I think about it, it does make sense that I'm in the past. Here I was thinking I had stumbled across a city frozen in time, but it seems it's only me that is lost in time. Great, mom's going to kill me this time," he lamented. "She always told me to not trust random portals that open in my room, but it was so tempting," he ranted as he looked towards the sky while wiping a faux tear.

"Hey! Focus kid, what is going on here?" Piccolo barked as he tried to get his 'godson' attention.

The tailed Saiyan shrugged, "Don't know. All I know was that I got a message saying that my father was in danger and that I needed to come through the portal to protect him, and here I am. So we round back to the beginning, do you want to see who can destroy the most red-jackets? Apparently they are the ones after my father, so it's a win-win situation."

"I don't play games kid," Piccolo scoffed.

"Oh come on, maybe once I teach you the rules you'll like it. See," he formed a large Ki ball and watched a flying group of aliens. Once they were within range he launched the ball. Within seconds half of the group has been vanquished. "And that got me fifty points. Better start, or I'll win with no challenge!" he shouted as he flew off, leaving a dazed and confused Piccolo.

Piccolo sighed, "Children. I didn't even get his name." He looked down and saw two Auburn teens dusting themselves off and taking off in the direction of a different group. He could feel some of Goku's friends were in transit. As he checked Gohan's energy he found it to be constant, as if he was asleep, but he could feel that he was injured thanks to their mental link. He gripped the bag of senzu bean he carried.

The golden armored young man finally reached the inner circle where Pan and his father were in. He focused his Kiai to his center before letting it explode around him sending many foes in all direction. He turned to a panting Pan and amber-haired young woman. "Pan, what seems to be the issue? I expected this simple task to have been completed by now."

Pan turned her glare to the tall maroon-haired man in front, "I'm going as fast as I can Rize, but these guys are moving so slowly," she said as she pointed at the two teens carrying her papa. "Plus everywhere I turn there is a new group approaching, so I can't help them carry him. In fact she," she pointed at the lavender-skinned lady, "and I are barely able to blast them back.

"What about you, what are you doing that you have allowed so many to reach us?" she questioned while grabbing a nearby red-jacket and swinging him to a few behind them.

"I am getting well acquainted with our reinforcements," Rize growled. "Look, our father is the most important figure so try to get him out of harm's way immediately. He is our top priority."

"I will not sacrifice the others. My father would never accept that, and I certainly won't do it," she screamed indignant by Rize's insinuation. There was another reason she wanted to protect the humans carrying her papa, as she knew her mama was there as well.

Rize took a step back as his eyes clouded for a second.

The lavender-skinned turned to Rize and shouted when she saw his distant look, "This isn't the place for daydreaming!"

Rize shook his head as he cleared the memory that passed momentarily, he turned to Pan and croaked, "You are correct Pan, my apologizes for making such a suggestion. No man is ever left behind. However I beg you to hurry; I'll take out as many as I can." He turned to the amber-haired woman, "I am counting on you as well milady." Rize took off once again blasting any nearby enemy.

Erasa looked on as maroon-haired man took off once again. She just didn't understand what was going on, and she wanted to ask Gohan but he had yet to awaken. Suddenly she felt something grip her arm. She screamed when she look down and saw a green claw holding her forearm. Erasa tried to pull away, but his grip only got tighter.

Pan was reading a blast in hand, but didn't get to launch it as a dark blonde-haired young man arrived and blasted the aggressor back. He wore, in what Pan could only describe as, flashy clothes all well adjusted to his lean figure. He held as smirk as looked at the group charging him.

Erasa looked on as her savior began batting away punches being thrown at him. Pan however was not having his showboating, "Hey! If you're helping then shoot them back, don't just fight them!"

The blue-eyes young man looked at Pan and winked. "I got my method, and you got yours," he replied.

"At least make sure we are clear from the back," she yelled.

Erasa screamed as two teens rocketed just above them. Videl tried to reassure her friend, "It's okay Erasa, we are almost there," she said while seeing the cover of the trees just ahead. She and Sharpner had been grunted as they carried their classmate the last stretch.

"It seems as their numbers are decreasing," Bō staff wielder announced.

Pan nodded, "I noticed, but I'll be happier when they are gone and we can get papa to a place where we can heal him. Do you know how many are on our side?"

The amber-haired woman looked around, "I'm not sure, but my guess is about six or seven at the moment, including us. So, you know of a way to heal him, how fast are the results?"

"Almost instantly," Pan responded.

"Tell me young one; we are headed for the forest, but what is the plan once we get there?" inquired the scantly armor wearing female.

Pan stopped her barrage for a second as she looked towards the forest they were heading towards. She could see many of the green-skinned enemies appearing from the forest, "Originally we were supposed to use the cover of the forest to make our escape, but I'm starting to see that is no longer an option."

"As I thought, you're right we can't head there or we will be blinded from behind the trees. That is why I suggest a new plan," she proposed.

"New plan? Okay I'm listening, what do you have in mind?" Pan asked her companion to elaborate.

"I suggest we stop here. Now before you interrupt me, I know we will be sitting ducks, but walking to the forest could prove to be even more dangerous. Here we can establish perimeter between you, me, and pretty boy back there. Also we can stop dragging my father," she reasoned.

Pan mulled over her companions plan, and after looking around she decide to go through with it, "Alright, we'll play it your way. Let me tell Rize the new plan." She clicked the large button on the translator in her ear, which she had gotten from the box Rize brought. "Rize, come in."

Pan jumped when she heard an explosion followed by Rize's voice. "I am a bit occupied at the moment. Is there an issue?"

"We have everything under control, well at least as much control as one can have in the middle of a battlefield, but the forest exit is no longer an option," Pan related. "We have a new plan though. We plan to remain here and set up perimeter. We could use some extra hands as we are only three able fighters here."

Rize's voice rang through her communicator. "I see; there are too many foes hidden within the forest. Very well then, hold down the fort. We have a new arrival, and I have dispatched her to aid your group."

"There are still people arriving, how many more are coming?" Pan asked shocked.

"Honestly I am not questioning it and I suggest you do the same as we can use all the hands we can get. My apologize Pan, but I must get back to pushing these flies back, but fear not as I see there aren't that many more left."

"Okay, hurry back here as soon as you can," Pan remarked. She turned to the amber-haired woman, "He gave us the go ahead. I'll take care of this side, while you take care of those coming from the forest." She pointed towards the forest. "Hey pretty boy! We are stopping here, but you keep taking care of those coming from behind!" she yelled at the dark blonde at the back of the group. She turned to father and his classmates and declared, "You can rest him on the ground; the forest is no-go anymore. Stay within our triangle and you should be safe."

Videl released the knocked out Gohan and ran closer to the orange-bandana wearing teen. She demanded to know what was going as she had been quite complacent until now, but Videl Satan wanted answers now, "What do you mean the forest is no-go?! Just who are you people, and why do you all keep referring to Gohan as 'father?! What did Gohan get us involved with?!"

Pan kept working on making sure the aliens stayed far away, but decided to humor her mother, "It's no longer an option because that is where these red-jackets are coming from. I refer to him as papa because that is who he is, sure he is younger but I recognize my papa anywhere. I don't know why all these other people keep referring to him as father as I don't have siblings, and I've never met them. And finally as too what did papa get you involved in; well he didn't get you involved in anything. These people are after his life and we were called to protect him."

Pan wanted to tell her that she was her mother as well, but based on what Pan had seen, she knew her mother did not know of their world yet, so she didn't want to spook Videl more than she already was. Her papa would understand, as she knew he dealt with time travel before, but this would be a first for Videl.

"Who called you?" Videl exclaimed.

Pan shrugged, "Don't know, but he communicated through a hologram telling us that papa's life was in danger. The only thing I remember about him was that he wore a brown cloak. He said he would explain once I got here, but until now I haven't seen him. However the threat is very real as you can see."

"Do you mean like that one?" Sharpner called out pointing to the sky. High above stood a man with raven-hair and a brown cloak that billowed in the air.

"That's him," Pan affirmed. "So he finally showed up."

An explosion knocked everyone's attention from their staring contest with the figure above. A blue-skinned female descended and landed a few meter in front of Pan. She had orange straight hair and wore jewelry reminiscent of a certain dead space pirate from long ago.

"I heard you guys needed some help," she smiled at the group. "My name is Zene and Rize told me to come here."

Pan nodded, "Name's Pan, but we can do formal introductions after this. You know what you're supposed to do right?"

"Protect my father, and eliminate anyone with a red-jacket," Zene repeated.

In the distance Pan could see yet another female in a blue Chinese fighting dress speaking with Rize. It was hard to see from here, but Pan could barely make out that she too had dark hair, but hers seemed to be picked up in a bun.

"Pan! Pay attention!" shouted the Bō staff wielder.

Pan looked around them, and saw they were standing in the middle of a large circle with green-skinned enemies surrounding them both on the ground and in the air.

Zene snarled, "I've about had it with these guys. They just don't quit no matter how many of them we knock out or kill. I say we hit them with our best." She pulled her arms back and to her side, "KA-ME—"

The lavender-skin female smiled, "I agree!" She twirled her staff before slamming it on the ground. When she saw it stayed upright, she released her staff and brought both hands to her forehead, "MA-SEN-KO—"

The dubbed 'pretty boy' scratched the back of his dark blonde hair as he murmured, "Well it's been a while since the last time I tried this but here goes." He pulled both hands to his forehead like the Bō staff wielder. "MA-SEN-KO," the energy began to accumulate at palm of his hands.

Pan pushed her mother back. "You want to stay back for this," she announced while pulling both arms back and repeated her grandfather's favorite technique. A blue sphere of Ki appeared between her cupped hands, "KA-ME-HA-ME—"

Zene, being the first to charge her attack, pushed her hand forward as the blue beam of the Kamehameha escaped her hands and flew towards the enemies in the air. She slowly started to move her hands to one side, as the beam followed her hands' movement, thereby getting the others in the air.

The lavender-skinned female and the dark blonde-haired boy pushed their hands forwards as the massive gold beam barreled forward towards the surrounding aliens. The amber-haired female's Masenko not only blasted the ones in front of her, but also partially destroyed the forest behind them. While the smirking boy kept pumping more and more of his Ki into the blast to expand the already massive beam.

Pan also finished her incantation and released the blue beam forwards.

High above stood a twenty-something man in a brown cloak, he watched at a mixture of blue and gold beams were released in four directions. A quick Ki check confirmed that Gohan was located there. The visibly fatigues blue-eyes man smiled.

All around, he could see fighters of all kinds. Some were protecting Gohan directly, while others were fighting the hordes that were incoming.

All four fighters, which were tasked with being the final line of defense, heaved from their respective positions. Most of the aliens had been decimated, but like cockroaches they began coming from the woodwork.

"Is there no end to them?" Pan bellowed.

She heard some static before Rize's voice came through. "Pan, what was that? Status report?"

The panting Pan shook her head, "Give me a—sec to catch my breath. Rize… I think we will need you and the others back here." She swallowed, "We are all still recovering."

"That was foolish Pan."

"Yeah, well you can scold me after this," Pan retorted. "We needed some room… and that was our only plan at the moment." Pan was about to continue when she saw one of the red-jackets fly by in front of her and land lifelessly on the ground.

Pan followed his trajectory, and saw scowling deep purple-skinned female with shoulder length white hair and a scouter on her left eye. She had a grey-blue exoskeleton that covered part of her body, and most notably a grey-blue tail that resembled that of a lizard. Her purple iris bore into Pan as she growled at her.

Thanks to the translator, Pan could hear the green-skinned shakily say one word, Fuyu. All of them collectively took a step back, with each one she took.

Pan hit the button on her communicator. "Rize, get over here now and bring everyone you can."

The white haired alien quickly glanced at a near-by red-jacket, and before he noticed she had caught him around his neck with her long tail. Without a second thought she twisted his neck, effectively killing the clawing green-skinned alien, and throwing his body forward for the others to see.

"Fuyu!" shouted a scared red-jacket as he took off immediately to get away from the white-haired demon. The others in the vicinity also ran when the first one took off.

Pan gulped when she looked back at her and her group. She pressed the button once again, "And you better make it quick. We might have a big problem right here."

AN: ...So Fuyu, is she an ally or a general of the opposing team? I know it is hard at times to follow who is speaking. Given that these are all OC, but I just wanted to emphasize their attributes to associate certain traits to specific character. Eventually I'll post a list with each charater's traits in one long list. I hoped you liked the chapter, and feel free to tell me what I'm doing right and wrong. I want to learn from this story, and those lessons come from the readers. Also I'm wondering is some people can already guess the mother's of certain OCs.

Dear Guest,

Well I'm happy that my story was the first one you ever read. I hope to get your continued support.

Dear nancy103,

Thank you!

Dear Reign of Sorrow,

I'm not sure if that was directed at me, or people that possibly might not like my story. In any case I'll take it on the positive side and thank you for sticking up for me.

Dear LegendOfTomorrow,

I'm actually using 18-year old Gohan. I'll be explaining soon how he traveled and why he is doing it. Next chapter if I'm not mistaken. Much of the backstories of the others will be explained as we go. Mainly through flashbacks and conversations, and also how each Gohan in their respective universe came be with their respective mother. I thought about doing a couple chapters of their backstories, but this was done originally for the war, so their emotional dramas had to take a back seat; however you know how much I like delving into back stories and their emotion turmoil. Soon we'll enter each of the children's history.

Dear Smithback,

Thank you!
