AN: And so the saga continues. Let me know how it went.
The frightened red jackets fled as soon as they could; some tripped while others crashed into one another trying get away from her. Within a few seconds all in that vicinity had left, and the other red jackets in the surrounding open field followed their example of escaping once they heard 'Fuyu'.
Pan and the others watched as all the aliens that had been so relentless to get to her papa, leave at the drop of a dime. Pan turned to the snarling white-haired alien approaching them and said, "Thanks, but tell me what your purpose is coming here?"
Fuyu only growled but didn't say anything as she kept her slow approach.
The lavender-skinned female; however, wasn't so calm. She gripped her Bō staff tighter, as if ready to pounce at a moment's notice. "Answer her question, are you an ally or a foe?!" she shouted. When she did not get an answer either, the amber-haired warrior decided this new person had gotten close enough.
Pan extended her hand out, "Wait, we don't know who she is. For all we know she could also be here with the same mission."
"I'm sorry young one but she gotten too close, and we know not her intentions," the Bō staff wielder explained as she lowered into a horse-stance with the Bō staff at her side. "I also sense a great darkness within her."
"This is your last warning, explain yourself or I will be obligated to use force!" she exclaimed. Zene and the 'pretty boy' also stood to her sides ready to attack.
Pan wanted to interfere, but she knew that no one could be trusted. This new arrival might have scared their enemies away, but that doesn't automatically make them an ally. With a heavy heart she shook her head as she once again heard no response from the white-haired alien. Pan took her preferred stance.
Videl, Erasa, and Sharpner sat next to the grounded Gohan. They watched the scene unfold as once again it appears a new enemy had arrived.
Fuyu stopped and rolled her neck before coming to a stop looking forwards once again. This time instead of a snarl she held a smile. Her purple eyes promised certain pain for the people in front of her. Her scouter began to give off number and letters before coming to a stop pointing forward.
"That's it!" the amber-haired woman rocketed forward to catch her opponent off-guard, but once she arrived at the location where the white-haired alien used to be, the lavender-skinned saw she was no longer there. She heard behind her a gutted scream. The Bō staff wielder turned to see her opponent had landed where she used to be, and had kicked the dark blonde haired guy.
Zene didn't even see her move, but one second she saw the Bō staff wielder fly toward her and the next she heard the scream from the skidding male. The blue-skinned beauty howled as she jumped on the white-haired alien, but was punched in her midsection for her efforts. The deep purple-skinned alien held her face as she dragged her across the grass.
The amber-haired Bō staff wielder reached her opponent when she released Zene, and she extended her staff at the turned enemy; however this proved to be futile as her opponent turned around at the last second and gripped the other side of the staff. The enraged purple eyes of her opponent dug into her shocked one before the white-haired alien used her Bō staff to slam her on the ground. The lavender-skinned warrior yelped as she bounced off the ground, releasing her treasured staff.
Fuyu didn't waste any time quickly kicked the still airborne female. She looked down at the staff she still held before tossing it to the side carelessly.
Sharpner and Videl couldn't believe what they were seeing. In the little time they knew these unknown fighters, one thing was clear and that was that though they may use trick but they were still very powerful, but this new arrival was just thrashing them with little to no effort.
Pan floated in front the new arrival with her hand extended, "Look we are all on the same side. You were probably sent here to protect papa," she exclaimed. "I don't want to fight you if we are on the same team."
Fuyu's tail quickly wrapped itself around Pan's neck. Pan gurgled as she tried to free herself of the constricting tail. For the first time Fuyu spoke, "You are no ally of mine," she said quietly. Pan was turning blue from the lack of oxygen and her eyes were wide open.
Fuyu was knocked forwards by a Ki Blast from behind. Her momentarily lapse was enough for Pan to fall to the ground coughing. The white-haired female turned to who attacked her from behind, and saw a kneeling panting dark blonde-haired boy with his hand extended.
The deep purple-skinned with a grey-blue exoskeleton snarled at the boy who had interrupted her. She turned back to take care of the red-shirt girl, but found her hobbling away. Since her prey had momentarily gotten away, she decided to take care of the boy first. She was standing in front of him within millisecond.
The dark blonde-haired young man looked up to the angry female. He smirked with his split lip in defiance, and the last he saw was her three-toed foot kicking him sending him skidding once again.
Erasa jumped from her position and ran to the downed boy, against the wishes of Videl.
Fuyu was determined to put down the young man once and for all, but she noticed two charging females from opposite sides. The blue-skinned beauty Zene and the lavender-skinned warrior each dashed with a Ki Blast in hand, and when they got close they sent their respective blast forward, but Fuyu hopped over the blast allowing the Ki globes to hit the other charging female. To add insult to injury she then attacked Zene with a barrage of punches while her tail gripped the Amber-haired female and slammed her head repeatedly on the ground.
The white-haired demon released them when she noted them not moving anymore. She could still see their chest lifting, if barely. Two purple Ki Blast formed in each hand as he readied herself to erase both females, when she heard Videl yelling at her.
"Hey you freak of nature! Why don't you fight someone your size?!" Videl taunted. Fuyu turned to her but only snorted before turning back to the downed women. Videl attempted to get her attention once again, but Sharpner pull her arm.
"What are you doing?" he harshly asked.
Videl turned to Sharpner and proclaimed, "Let me go Sharpner, she is about to kill them." Videl turned to the white-haired female, "That's right turn around. I'm sure your parents are so proud of what a coward you are, but then again maybe they are cowards as well," she said with a shrug.
Fuyu reabsorbed her Ki Blasts once again, and this time fully turned to the taunting teen. Her scouter once again displayed certain character while pointing forward. "What did you say?" she growled.
Sharpner landed on his behind and crawled back as Fuyu walked towards them. The fury he saw in her eye, he could swear they were glowing purple and steam was escaping the corner of her eyes.
"How dare you speak of them in such a fashion you insignificant worm? They are the reason you breathe, and you speak of them so atrociously. Call me whatever you want, but they have given you life and peace," she rumbled as she approached Videl. Now standing in front of one another, Videl could see they were about the same height. "I shall cut your tongue and present it to my parents as a gift, and an example for others of what happens to those who speak ill of them."
Videl stood her ground the best she could, but she didn't expect such a violent verbal thrashing. She saw as Fuyu brought up her index and middle fingers and they began to glow purple. Videl could feel the heat emanating from white-haired alien's charging beam.
A coughing Pan got in between them. She glared at the alien, "You'll have to go through me before you get to her."
"I have no problem with that," Fuyu responded while unleashing her beam. "Die along that wretched woman!"
Because they were in close proximity, Pan only had a few seconds to put her hands forward and stop the purple beam. Her feet dug trenches into the ground as she was pushed back slightly. She screamed as she felt it trying to drill into her palms, but she placed more of her Ki into her hands to put a better defense.
Videl watched as the fifteen year old stopped the beam. Like with Gohan, every time she tried to help Pan, she would scream to not get closer. She wanted to defy her, but something inside her told her that she would only hinder things.
A few meters away Gohan, who laid on the ground unconscious, began to cough. Sharpner, startled by Gohan's sudden outburst, tried to move over to Gohan and stop him from making a sound, lest the white-haired alien hearing him. He used his hand to cover his mouth.
However Fuyu did notice Gohan's sudden movement. She ended the Ki beam going towards Pan, and while she was recovering; Fuyu sent an uppercut followed half-spin where her tail slammed the airborne Pan face-first to the ground with a bounce, and finally backhanded her out of the way.
Videl watch how with ease the alien took out Pan. She decided to go down fighting and with a roar she jumped only to be batted aside by her tail. Videl skipped a couple times across the field to finally come to an end face-down on the ground.
"…Ma," Pan barely croaked as she saw her mother finally come to a stop. Her whole body hurt, but she still tried to sit up only to fall back down once again. "Pa-pa, hel—lp," she cried out." She turned her head to see the white-haired alien finally reach her father.
Sharpner tried to slide back, but was captured by the deep purple-skinned alien. Her tail coiled around his neck, and she lifted him up so his feet dangled slightly. "You dare touch him," she growled as she brought him closer to her.
Sharpner was gasping but still tried to deny by violently shaking his head. He could see she was not buying it by how much tighter her tail became after he shook his head.
"You know what the two things I hate most?" she sneered. Sharpner only pounded on her tail, so Fuyu continued, "Liars, and people who attack my family. And fortunately you fit the bill on both accounts, so I'll take special joy in seeing as your life end." However before she make due on her promise, her attention was once again distracted by Gohan. He jerked on the ground again.
Her scouter began to give off symbols in all direction, and she looked around as all around one-by-one different people began landing; completely surrounding her. Fuyu saw most were ready to enter the fray and begin round two. She snarled as she tossed the blue-faced Sharpner over her shoulder and took up stance in front of Gohan. Her eyes darting back and forth looking to see who would make the first move, while her tails swung as if it were a second pair of eyes looking to see if anyone would attack from behind.
Rize landed near the down Pan. He reached down and helped her get to her feet. She staggered a bit, but eventually she just wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth. Pan could see the 'pretty boy' was being assisted to stand by her mama's blond female friend, Erasa. Zene and the amber-haired female were also using each other to stand up once again. Her mama was also getting up, but she was holding the back of her neck and looked scrapped up.
In total there were fifteen people surrounding the white-haired fighter. Though the only ones Pan recognized were her mama, Erasa, 'Pretty boy', Rize, Zene, the amber-haired woman that fought with her, Piccolo, a person that looked like a younger version of Krillin who she assumed must be Krillin from this time, Yamcha though he looked younger, and Tien as well. Sharpner was still on the ground. Everyone else was a mystery, though it puzzled her that the one with the brown cloak, holo-man, wasn't there.
"Pan, are you alright? Explain who is she and why is she the closest person to father?" asked Rize.
"Your guess is as good as mine. I'm not sure if she is an enemy or not; since she has had a couple opportunities to hurt him, but she has refrained from doing it. On the other hand she has been just destroying us, so I can't say she is with us either," Pan related.
"Have you inquired what her purpose is?" questioned Rize. On the other side they could see Piccolo trying to get closer, but the deep purple-skinned female jumped to face his direction as her tail lashed out; her tail always remaining just above Gohan.
"No, hadn't thought of it," Pan sarcastically responded, but upon seeing Rize's puzzled expression she quickly amended her statement, "Of course I did! She is just a little short for words."
The Saiyan-tailed young man walked closer to the duo. "That's an Ice-jin," he remarked with a growl. He balled up his fists.
"An Ice-jin?" both repeated. "What are those?" Pan asked.
The Saiyan-tailed young man with wild jet black hair nodded, "Have you ever heard of the Cold family? They used to run the Planet Trade Organization."
Rize wrinkled his nose in anger when he heard 'Planet Trade Organization.'
"One of those?" Pan asked skeptically. "Wait, but papa said they are usually bald or they may have horns. Her skin color and exoskeleton are right, but she doesn't have horns and she has hair."
Every time someone at the edge of the circle moved, Fuyu would move in their direction. Some wanted to start the next round, but her tail was just too close to Gohan at the moment. Every few seconds her tail would slide across his body, as if making sure he was still there.
"This one is different looking, but her Ice-jin stench is unmistakable," responded the tailed Saiyan. "She is no ally, just look at her tail. 'It' has dad hostage right now. I will not stand for this, Ice-jins are enemies of the Saiyan and this one is no different!"
He was about to rush in, but Rize stopped him before he could take off. "If you are correct, then rushing could prove to be disastrous. We must move cautiously as a unit before she has the opportunity to strike," reasoned Rize.
"Um… I don't that is going to work," stated Pan while point at the screaming and charging blue Chinese dress girl.
"LET HIM GO!" she roared as she flew as fast as she could towards the white-haired alien.
Rize planted his palm on his forehead. "Auh … Chika; she just had to move."
Fuyu quickly flew to intercept her and begin her fight against the charging female. With Chika's movement; everyone began their charge as well, and so began round two.
The tailed-Saiyan didn't need to be told twice before he angrily charged the Ice-jin.
Pan watched as almost everyone; with the exception of her papa's classmates, Rize, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien, jumped into the fray. She saw as the white-haired female desperately fought off her aggressors. She as sending punches, kick, and even tails slams to keeps the seven fighters away from her momentarily. She eventually had to start dishing out Ki Blast to increase her radius. Pan looked up at Rize to see what he would do, but just saw him stand there.
She shrugged as she commented, "Sorry Rize, but sometimes even the best thought up plans don't work out. We need to take her down now." She dashed to join the effort.
"Wait Pan!" Rize screamed but was too late.
Piccolo walked towards Gohan while the other had the white-haired individual occupied, but just as he was about to reach him he a tail whipped him back by the passing Ice-jin.
"You okay Piccolo?" asked the small monk with a chuckle. "It's not every day someone catches you off-guard."
Piccolo snarled, "I'm fine, and not another word."
"Alright," responded Krillin with a shrug. "Even with all those fighters she is still able to fight them off. If she wasn't on the other team, I would be impressed."
"This is not the time to be impressed Krillin," commented Tien. "We need to get to Gohan, but she still seems to be hanging over him. Even with all the fighters distracting her. She keeps jumping, but always staying relatively close to him."
"Who are these people anyways?" asked Yamcha.
The amber-haired beauty, who had recovered her Bō staff, slammed down her staff across the Ice-jin's back. Fuyu rolled and just as she was about to return the favor, she was hit by twin punches to the face making her roll back even more. Just as the staff almost inflicted more damage, Fuyu was able to catch the staff once again and used the user on the other side of the staff to bat everyone around her.
Pan was blindsided by the Bō staff wielder. As she was getting up, the tailed-Saiyan zoomed right above her, only to be kneed by the exoskeleton user. The white-haired alien grabbed him by the tail and spun him until she released him to crash into the incoming Zene.
Fuyu managed to grab the one who originally started round two, when the blue Chinese dress girl, known as Chika, tried to jump her from behind her. She kept swing into her midsection with her right fist as she held her by the neck. She heaved as she saw beyond her opponent an orange-clad fighter with spiky hair running to the downed Gohan. She quickly released the girl as she dashed and punched Yamcha from behind, sending him spiraling to one of the trees nearby.
Pan blasted towards the Ice-jin and as she glanced to the side she saw the dark blonde-haired 'pretty boy' flying adjacent to her. She nodded to him while she charged a Ki Ball with her right hand, and the dark blonde-haired boy charged one with his left hand. The both send it forward at almost the same time.
Fuyu watched as both blasts headed for her, so she charged a simple beam with her finger and shot both of them out. Both Ki Balls exploded creating a smoke screen. Fuyu looked at her scouter as the symbols fly across the small screen. She looked up just in time to see the orange bandana wearing girl and the dark blonde-haired boy blew out from the smoke and tackled her.
They rolled a couple time before Fuyu was able to take control of the roll and land with her on top and a foot on each of the two fighters' chest. Pan could see the white-haired fighter was bruised and cut in many place, but then again all of them were hurting. She lifted her foot off the 'pretty boy' and planned to slam it down when she heard his plead.
"Not the face again!" he screamed, but she ignored it as she smashed her foot into his face. "Uh, you bit—" she kicked him again.
Pan felt as her tail coiled around her ankle and lifted her upside down. She blasted the Ice-jin while upside down, but the deep purple-skinned fighter didn't let go. Instead Pan felt as her tail waged back and forth, sending Pan to kiss the ground multiple times. Just as Pan was about to hit the ground again, she felt she was airborne again. Pan opened her eyes and saw as Rize was flying with the Ice-jin by the neck.
Fuyu released the red shirt girl to the ground below as she began punching the armored teen.
Rize chuckled, "This armor, while not meant for combat, is plenty strong enough to take your hits. Plus it's rather large size negates any recoil I may feel from your impacts."
The Ice-jin ignored him and added her knees to the fight. She would make this maroon pony-tailed opponent pay for laughing.
Rize continued as she brought her closer to his face, but was rewarded with a punch to the nose. He was about to release her, but managed to hang on to her neck, "I have been observing you since the beginning of the battle, and you do not display traits of being our foe, so why do you fight against us?"
Fuyu charged her two fingers and shot a purple beam bypassing Rize's armor, and only barely missing Rize; however it was enough of a shock for him to lessen the pressure on his hand and Fuyu jumped back to kick him to the ground below.
Fuyu landed on the ground once again, and all around her she could see many fighters were still getting up. She landed on one knee trying to catch her breath.
The tailed Saiyan a few meters away dug his fingers into the ground as he formed a fist. "That's it… no more mister nice guy." He stood up and saw the Ice-jin demon on one knee. He began to power up as much as he could. "AHHHHH!" he yelled as he jumped to Super Saiyan.
"This ends now, Ice-jin!" he announced as he dashed towards her.
"No way, it's the Gold Fighter, but how?" Videl swallowed as her eyes kept darting between the 'Gold Fighter' and the unconscious Gohan. "I was sure it was Gohan."
Fuyu looked around and saw as the twin auburn-haired boys also stand and also make the jump to Super Saiyan. The amber-haired female was no longer amber as she traded it for golden Super Saiyan. Finally the blue-skinned female shook as her jewelry began to glow, and she also underwent a transformation; though her orange hair turned red, her skin changed to a green tint, and her muscle increased in almost every way. That was the last transformation she saw before she was clocked by the tailed Saiyan.
"This is insane; it's a trick, it has to be," Videl said as she pinched herself. She was looking at three male Gold Fighters and one female Gold Fighter. As well as one female transformation she did not recognize.
Pan's eyes widened by the amount of Super Saiyans on the playing field now. She, along with the other non-transformed fighter, also stood up and charged towards the Ice-jin on defense.
Rize looked on as the others began their new campaign. He just couldn't understand why she kept fighting them.
***Line Break***
"How are there these many Super Saiyan," inquired a frighten Yamcha.
Krillin also stood with his mouth gapping. "Are we under a new Saiyan invasion?" he asked the Namekian to his right.
"No," he responded. "I don't know the details, but these are future fighters."
"Future fighters? As in Trunks' future?" Tien exclaimed.
"Not from Trunks' Time, but they seem to come from a different time. That first one to transform told me he was called here to protect Gohan, but he doesn't know much more than that," Piccolo grunted. "I guess they are trying to protect him from that one female they have been fighting."
"I'm starting to hate this," Tien remarked. "The last time we had fighters from the future we ended up with Cell."
***Line Break***
Fuyu blocked a punch, but was too late to stop the one that followed. She turned and dashed to a different location, but was cut off by the transformed red-haired green skinned Zene. Zene delivered a devastating kick sending her back to the mob. She elbowed both twins that had stopped her momentum and took off once again.
Finally the Ice-jin crashed on the ground spent. All the others landed surrounding her.
"Give up, and this will end," offered Pan.
The tailed Saiyan scoffed, "Give up? No this will end with her death." He charged a Ki sphere over his head.
The others looked among themselves, but Pan was about retort but was cut off by laughter.
Fuyu began to stand up while chuckling, "I'll give you this… I didn't think this fight would last this long." She finally stood vertically as she stared right into the eyes of the tailed-Saiyan with the sphere overhead. Fuyu was marred with bruises and cuts and her scouter was only barely hanging, broken beyond repair. "But if you guys want to play rough…I'm game. Prepare yourself, and I hope you enjoyed your little upper hand."
"What do you mean?" asked the Bō staff wielder.
"I mean…" she began while bringing her fist over her face, primarily covering her eyes. The tailed-Saiyan watched as she pulled her fist down and instead of purple eyes they were teal now. "…It's time I show you true power! AHHHH!"
"NO!" shouted the tailed-Saiyan while sending the overhead Ki Ball towards her with no warning other than his scream. The others immediately jumped back as soon as they saw the ball descend.
It exploded and the area was covered by smoke, but everyone could sense she was still there. As the smoke began to clear as golden aura was the first thing they noticed, followed by golden-haired teal-eyed Ice-jin hybrid.
"A Super Saiyan?" "How is this possible?" were some of the whispers between the fighters.
Everyone took a step back, and for the first time Pan empathized with the red jackets that showed so much fear when Fuyu arrived. 'They must have known,' she thought.
Rize also landed with the group, but he instead took a step forward. "This has gone on long enough. I cannot stand idly by as you fools tear each other apart; when we are clearly on the same team. My father is tended on the ground, injured, while you have your little spat. If you wish to continue killing each other, then so be it, but I will take my father to get the care he deserves; as well as finding the reason for our summons here."
"I don't think I could have said it better myself!" boomed a voice from above. An older man with a brown cloak also landed in the circle. "I apologize my tardiness, but I had matters to attend to, and I saw everything was under control here before I left. You can imagine my surprise when I return and find in-fighting."
"Who the hell are you?" growled Fuyu but stopped when she took in his brown cloak over a dark Blue Gi. "Wait, I recognize you! You're the one that called me here. What am I doing here, and why is my father in the state that he is in? Why were there Roosen force here?" referring to the red jackets.
He turned to Fuyu and smiled, "I must say, you're quite the rarity. Don't think I have ever met someone like you. I'll be interested to know your back story." He then turned to address the rest.
She snarled at her dismissal, "I asked you a question."
Still he kept his smile, "And I have your answers, but I don't think this is the ideal location."
Videl and her friends began to slowly approach the warriors that had finally ended their crazy battle.
Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien approached the others without as much hesitation as everything seems to have calmed down. Still they took a few precautious since most were still in their Super Saiyan forms, and the tension was still pretty heavy, but had definitely lightened with the entrance of the two older males.
Piccolo walked to Gohan and checked him all over. He noticed that aside from his burned arms he also had part of his fingertips missing. He also seems unusually cold, but he attributed it his body and nerves in shock. He placed a hand over his heart and noticed a slowed heart beat. 'Don't worry kid, I got you,' he thought
The tailed Saiyan snapped, "What is wrong with this place?" but his eyes never left the transformed Ice-jin.
"Well for one, I agree with the armored fellow that he needs care. Piccolo! Do you mind taking him with us to the next location? You can give him the Senzu bean there," he announced out loud for Piccolo to hear him a few meters away.
Fuyu noticed how close Piccolo had gotten in the time she was distracted. She charged her two fingers and pointed them at Piccolo while screaming, "Touch him Namekian and die!"
The cloaked individual just moved in front of her and put her hand down against her will, "There will be none of that. Piccolo if you please!"
Piccolo only scoffed but he was going to take Gohan even if he hadn't been told. He just hated that it looked like he was doing it because the unknown individual told him so. He picked up the body of his protégé and walked towards the group. The Ice-jin wouldn't take her eyes off him though.
He then turned to the others, "And second the local authorities are almost upon us, and I rather not have to deal with them if possible. I tried to stall them, but something tells me they will be here sooner rather than later. I have the answers you seek and I'll be happy to play 'show and tell' but not here. Now whoever wishes to accompany follow me," he stated as he floated into the air.
The Z-fighters immediately jumped to the sky as Piccolo was carrying Gohan. Fuyu and the tailed Saiyan glared at each other and followed as well. The others began taking off as well.
"Well it seems our inquires are about to be solved," surmised Rize to Pan that stood next to him.
"Guess so," Pan answered. She turned to see her mother approaching them while stomping her feet.
"Hey wait!" yelled an enraged Videl. At this point only Rize, Pan, 'pretty boy,' Rem, and Vasco were the last to leave.
Rize, who was a few centimeter off the ground, turned around and noted Videl and her two friends behind him. He landed once again when he remembered why they must be here. "Ah yes, how could I have forgotten; you must be here for your reward. In the name of the Klaru Crown, I want to personally thank you for your service today," he stated with a small bow.
Pan tripped when she heard him.
He reached into his pectoral plate of his armor and fished out three coins. "Take this as our appreciation for your sacrifice today," he continued while handing a slightly large gold coin to each of the three. "Know that your name shall be placed in the honor wall for your courageous efforts. You are dismissed now knowing your king is well," he finished with a smile.
In the distance they could hear the siren of the authorities approaching.
Rem and Vasco were holding on to one another as they tried to reign in their laughter. In between hiccups Rem said, "This guy is hilarious. I'm not even mad at him anymore." They saw Videl's dumbstruck expression as she held the coin and they laughed even harder.
Pan dragged her palm across her face. "That's not what she meant by wait," she muttered.
Sharpner and Erasa were busy looking at the coin in detail, but Videl only seemed to be getting redder with anger with each second the boys laughed. "That is not what I meant!" she shouted. She threw down the coin as she discharged, "I want to know what is going on here?! What does this all have to do with Gohan, and why were those green-skinned freaks after him?!"
He frowned, "You know, in my culture what you did is a sign of great disrespect and callous. A member of nobility, a prince no less, offers you a gift and it is thrown back in his face are grounds for an arrest and possible execution."
Pan gulped and immediately bent down and picked up the coin. She stood in front of the massive Rize with her hand forward. "Hey man, she meant no harm. She did not know of the rules. Here you go, the coin is return to your possession as she is deemed unworthy," Pan assured while handing the coin back. Hoping Rize doesn't take it out on her mother. Videl wanted to protest, but Pan just elbowed her and told her to 'be quiet.'
Rize looked at the extended coin and after a few seconds he took it back and put it back in his pectoral plate. "I hope you show your gratitude to the young lady in front for speaking on your behalf," he addressed Videl. He looked down at Pan, "I have allowed this transgression to pass because you spoke up, and I value your words but do not assume this will always happen."
Rize turned around and began walking away, "Come along Pan; we have much ground to cover if we wish to catch up with the others."
"You go ahead Rize; I'll be right behind you," Pan answered.
"Suit yourself," Rize responded before taking off after the group.
Once he was out of range Pan let out the air she didn't even know she was holding. She turned to her mother and saw she was impatiently tapping her boots on the ground. "A word of advice; sometimes anger will get the best of us, but we never know who we are unloading on and people like Rize aren't as forgiving. I've only met him one day and already I know he holds his home value high. Don't assume that everyone will roll over when you scream."
"Well that turned dark really fast," commented Vasco.
Pan just couldn't understand how this could be her mother. In her time, her mother was completely against this type of behavior, and often scolded her for doing this exact thing. "Now, what was the reason you asked us to wait? As you can see we are a little behind."
Videl didn't change one bit in her behavior; even after almost seeing the otherworld moments ago. "I want to know what is going on," she pressed.
"Okay, then come," Rem responded. "No one is telling you, you can't. We just don't know the answers. Seriously, this girl almost got killed over something so simple," Rem said while shaking his head at his brother.
"Well I can't fly if that is what you're implying," Videl retorted at the twins.
Rem and Vasco adopted an incredulous expression, but Vasco was the one to voice their thought, "You don't know how to fly?! Tell me at least you know Ki, but you're so dumb that you haven't figured out how flying works." When all they got was a confused expression their facial expression morphed into disgust, "What kind rock have you been living under?"
Pan decided to interject, "Why don't you guys shut up, not everyone knows Ki or can fly through the air." She decided to speak up for her mother; which seemed to be the norm of the day.
"NO! EVERYONE knows at least Ki. It's the reason Earth One died!" Rem shouted.
Erasa tilted her head as she repeated what Rem said, "Earth One?"
"Uh uh uhhh," Vasco emphasized his revulsion through the use of theatrics as he tried to 'brush away' the imaginary filth on him. His brother was quick to follow his example. "I'm going to need a long steamy shower to purify me of this—ugh."
Videl grew very agitated by the way the twins acted. Finally she could take no more and against her daughter's previous words she charged to punch Vasco. Even though in the back of her mind she knew that these two should not be angered as they held more power than her, Videl's anger glowed brighter and overrode that simple survival mentality. She tried to punch him, but it went as well as one would expect of someone of Videl's strength versus the twins.
Vasco tilted his head as he stopped her punch with his extended hand. "You're a stupid one aren't ya. You almost got killed by the hulking armor guy for your outburst, and now you're trying your luck with us," he snorted.
Rem also stopped the theatrics turned as serious as his brother. He lowered his stance and tried to kick Videl back, but his foot was caught by Pan.
Pan growled, "That had enough power to kill her."
"That was my aim," retorted Rem. "She wished to harm my brother, and mom always said we must look out for one another."
"Ma—," she cleared her throat as she almost let it out that Videl was her mother but continued, "Videl doesn't have the power to make a dent to your brother and you know it."
"It's about principle…Pan," he proclaimed.
Vasco tilted his head on his other shoulder. "Hold it, Videl…as in Videl Satan."
"That's right, her pops is the great Hercule Satan," Sharpner chipped in.
"We are in the past aren't we… Pan," Vasco asked for clarification. Once he got a nod from the girl in question he laughed, "So that is why our father looks so young." He turned to Videl, "I've read about you," Vasco began only to be cut-off by Videl.
"Tell me something I don't know. Everyone reads about me in those gossip magazines," Videl stated with a roll of her eyes.
Rem laughed, "He mean in our history books, and honestly after being in your presence this long, I can see why you are faulted as being the reason Earth One died. Those poor souls perished thanks to the foolishness of one family. This is Earth One, before it perished huh?"
Videl and Pan both took a step back in shock; more so Pan than Videl as she knew they were from the future, so it's possible they are speaking the truth.
The young Satan heiress laughed after a few minutes, "That's a nice story boys, but I hardly believe I have the power to take out a planet as a whole. I'm assuming you're saying you're from this so called 'Earth Two'," she stated with air quotations.
Vasco and Rem both chuckled. "You're just a clueless as the books stated. It's almost sad, right Vasco?"
Vasco continued, "You didn't do it with your 'power' after all you have none; a weak, ki-less Earthling no less, no more. It was your actions that eventually led to the planet's doom. Mom always said that you were arrogant, and your constant harassing of dad eventually pushed for Project Ascension."
Pan gulped as she looked at her mother, but was confused to see her only laughing at the story.
Rem picked up where Vasco left of, completely ignoring Videl's mock laughter, "Without any protectors, your father moved to be its sole protector; though it didn't do much when he came out with the truth, and was hanged for his words. It's thanks to Sharpner's recollection that told us the end of the great Videl Satan." Rem laughed, "She would die to a lost grunt of Frieza that stumbled across Earth One, by mistake."
"I hate to burst the bubble of this well told story, but my father didn't become the sole protector of this planet after this so called Project Ascension. He IS the sole protector now, and that came after defeating Cell," Videl announced.
"That's right," Sharpner interjected.
Vasco laughed, "You know Rem, I wonder if Yemma sent both Satans to the deepest parts of HFIL. This one certainly deserves it," he said while point at Videl with his thumb.
"I think I killed enough brain cells with this conversation; what do you say we move to a place where we aren't talking with chimpanzees," proposed Rem.
"Just get out of here," Pan interrupted.
The twins laughed before taking off.
'Mama… is responsible for the death of a planet,' Pan contemplated, but she just couldn't wrap her mind around what they revealed. Pan knew the twins had omitted some information, but she was determined to get the full story one day.
"Don't worry babe, those guys are just running their mouth," Sharpner proclaimed as he tried to put his arm around her, but he was elbowed not by Videl but by Pan. Sharpner collapsed on the ground wheezing and groveling that she probably broke a rib.
Pan got in front of Videl and just gestured her to get on her back. When Videl did not move Pan inquired about the problem was, "Look if you want to even think about catching up with them, then get on. We are far lagging and I can feel the others are already landing. Holo-man will probably begin his speech soon and I rather not miss it, so get on."
Pan knew she was being a little brat-ish, but in her defense she was also getting tired of her mother's routine, and she just wanted to see her papa. She just hopped he wasn't that different from her time like her mother was. She also could see the lights of the cops.
The dark blonde hair man turned to Erasa and said, "If you wish, I can take you there as well."
Erasa smiled, "I don't have your name."
"Vanee," replied the 'pretty boy.'
"Well Vanee, it has been quite a day, and while I want to go home and sleep this off; I also want to know how Gohan is doing. If you don't mind, can you be my ride?" Erasa requested.
Vanee chuckled, "It's no problem. I know you're a little afraid of height, but I won't drop you." He picked Erasa up.
Erasa looked at the downed Sharpner, "Are we just going to leave him?" she asked with a frown.
Vanee sighed; he turned to Pan and asked her, "Hey Pan, are we leaving this guy here?"
Pan was situating her mother, but she turned to Vanee exasperated, "I don't know; I don't care about him. I'm not taking him, you want to take him go for it; otherwise leave him to explain himself to the cops what happened here." She looked over her shoulder, "Would you quite fussing around back there? I'm only so big."
"Do you really want me to take him?" the dark blonde-haired young man asked.
Erasa frowned, "I don't want to leave him here."
He sighed, "Fine." He placed Erasa down and walked over to Sharpner and threw the groaning boy on his back. "Hang on tight because I'll be holding…E-Erasa, and I can't bother watching out for you. You fall, your fault," he explained the rules to Sharpners of flying Vanee Airways. He went over to Erasa and picked her up.
He looked over to see Pan was just about ready to go, but he could feel the presence of multiple Ki almost at their location, so he turned to warn Pan once again, "Alright Pan, we got to go now!" He began to float acquiring an 'eep' from Erasa, before he started flying out of the vicinity.
Pan looked up to the sky as she saw 'pretty boy' had left her behind as well. She gripped her mama's hand around her neck and turned her head slightly to say, "Hold on the best you can." She shot into the forest on the other side to use the cover to the trees to not let the cops, who were arriving, pinpoint where she and her mama went.
***Line Break***
The brown cloaked individual landed on a field many miles away from their previous area. He immediately checked to see if there was anyone in the general vicinity, but all he could see were hills and grassy plains stretching as far as the eye can see. He nodded as he thought this would be the ideal location.
His vision became blurry and he began falling forward, but he caught himself before he became acquainted with the ground. He rubbed his eyes while yawning. He slapped himself twice to make this sleepy feeling go away.
Behind him Piccolo landed with Gohan in hand. He laid down the boy and immediately took out a Senzu bean from his little sack. Because Gohan was still unconscious, Piccolo grounded up the bean within his palm and let the powder form into his slightly gapping mouth; finally massaging Gohan's throat to induce it to swallow the healing powder. Piccolo looked up to see the cloaked arrival trying to hold himself steady as he swayed back and forth.
Once he saw as the bean was taking its effect, he decided to have a word with this guy. He walked up just in time as onyx-haired man began falling forward, but Piccolo extended his arms and pushed him back to being vertical.
The man opened his blue eyes and smiled, "Thank you."
"You okay?" Piccolo asked. Now up close and personal Piccolo could guess the man in front of him had to be in his early 20s.
"Just a little tired, but after this little conversation I can go to sleep," relayed as he yawned.
"Look, I'm here to tell you that I'm not your puppet, and I don't like being ordered around; especially by someone I don't even know. I brought Gohan here because that is what I was going to do anyways, not because you told me to," Piccolo argued, but the man in front who just smiled with a dazed expression.
He shook his head, "I'm sorry if that is how it appeared, but I just wanted to avoid another fight for who would take his body here. You can see that they aren't on the best of terms. You're a neutral party that most even trusts, so they would see no reason to not allow you to hold him."
Piccolo scoffed and walked away back to Gohan, who was starting to get up. He could see Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien talking with Gohan, while the Ice-jin and the tailed Saiyan were glaring a little distance away, but neither would take their eyes off Gohan for more than a few second to glare at one another.
He looked up to the sky and saw more and more were arriving as well. He finally reached Gohan and asked, "How you feeling kid?"
"Piccolo!? I'm doing much better thanks to you. I heard from Krillin you were the one to bring the Senzu beans. Boy am I ever glad you brought them; not feeling my arms was a creepy sensation," he said while flexing his healed arms.
"They looked pretty disgusting all chard up. What? They did," Krillin commented under the gaze of a glaring Piccolo.
Gohan was about to respond when he was tackled by a girl in a traditional blue Chinese dress.
Fuyu made a move to go take out the impetuous girls, but the tailed Saiyan got in her way.
"You will not get close to him," he snarled.
Fuyu laughed, "And who is going to stop me… you? Last time I checked I was mopping the floor with all of you, and if we would have continued our little battle I would have won."
The tail of the Saiyan swayed erratically behind him as he venomously spat, "You Ice-jin are all the same. You're lucky I'm here for some answers from the cloaked figure, but as soon as he is done, then you're mine."
Gohan looked down at the girl, who had to be around his age, crying into his chest. She had her hair tied into two buns on either side of her head. She kept repeating 'Daddy you're here…' over and over. Gohan looked up for support, but Krillin and Yamcha were all smiles while Piccolo and Tien made no attempts to even help him.
He sighed and did what he usually does when Goten was crying; he rubbed her back and spoke softly to her that everything was alright. He was confused by why she referred to him as Daddy, but he just though he must look like him.
Gohan looked around and saw all the eyes were on them. He blushed under everyone's scrutiny of him on the ground with a girl about his age holding him for dear life. There were people Gohan had never seen before or all colors and builds; some even held weapons like a Bō staff, but within this group he had yet to see Pan or the golden armored young man he met before falling unconscious. He wondered what had happened while he was out.
"Come on let's get up," he whispered in her ear, and she nodded but had yet to remove her face from his torso.
As they got up, Gohan saw as the golden armored young man land a few meters away, but this time he didn't immediately punch out the person closest to him; which Gohan thanked Dende. The crème-skinned girl next to him gripped his slightly torn long sleeve shirt, as if saying she wasn't letting go even though they were standing.
The vest wearing Saiyan felt the tension on the field, and it seemed everyone's eyes would occasionally dart to white-haired female pacing a little away. Her tail swayed with each step she took as the boy with a Saiyan tail walked parallel to her; his eyes never leaving her. It confused Gohan greatly to see these two as he did not know what to think of another Saiyan, and what appeared to be someone that resembled a member of Frieza's race, but she looked different.
Rize was still a little pissed by what happened previously, so when he walked over to the bickering white-haired alien and the tailed-Saiyan and stood in between them. He glared at both of them and lowly warned, "Do not make yourselves appear foolish before the eyes of my father."
Both turned to see Gohan was starring at them, so they just crossed their hands over their chest and looked away.
"What was that about?" Gohan asked the girl standing next to him.
"I don't trust her, none of us do. Daddy promise you'll be careful around her," the onyx-haired young woman begged.
Gohan turned back the trio, but for the life of him he could not figure out what was happening. "She looks a little impatient, but I don't sense anything wrong with her."
The auburn-haired twin landed as Gohan was speaking.
"There are a lot of people flying today, is there some kind of convention I didn't know about?" he joked.
She smiled, "We were all called here by the one in the cloak, and we are waiting for him to explain why he called us in the first place."
Piccolo gruffly yelled at the swaying cloaked figure, "I think that is everyone, so why don't you start? What are you and everyone else doing here? What is the warning from the future?"
"From the future?" Gohan asked perplexed.
The onyx-haired cloaked figure turned to everyone and quickly did a head count. "I thought there were two more!" he responded. "Maybe, I'm getting delusional," he quietly muttered.
"The young Pan has yet arrive," boomed Rize. "They should be here within minutes, as I can feel her as the other one you mention traveling as we speak. I request additional time for her arrival."
"We have waited long enough," Fuyu disputed. "If they haven't arrived yet, then that is their problem and will have to get the abridged version from someone else. I want to know what have you done with my father and why does he look this way?"
Rize was about counter but the dark blonde-haired young man arrived. He immediately put down Erasa and held to get her bearings, but just shrugged Sharpner off his back.
Pan came to a skidding finale a few second behind with a screaming Videl on her back. Rem, Vasco, and Rize all frowned at Videl's attendance, while Gohan and the others showed surprise of Pan's late entrance. "I'm not late am I?" Pan wondered.
The cloak figure just smiled, "No, you arrived just in time. Well it appears it is time for me to explain why I have summoned you. Before I begin I want to lay down a couple rules as this is a bit of a speech so bear with me, and I want to get through this as fast as I can. I'm sure you can see that I'm a bit …off right now, but that is because I haven't slept in the last three weeks, and even my Saiyan genes have told me to 'go screw myself.' There is only so much they can do before they give out. As such I'm a bit irritable right now, so if I snap at you then I apologize beforehand, but know that I have warned you.
"I'll be giving you a very small and condensed version of my life story; since it's important to why and how I can do what I can do. I understand that there will be details that I'm missing or things that at times don't seem to match, but know that I have skinned down this story to the bare bones of what is necessary. I …BEG of you…please no question! If you have a question, keep it to yourself. Got a comment, keep it to yourself. I can answer any inquires when I'm better, but right now I'm only standing here because if I don't at least give you some general information you'll all tear each other apart," he sassed with a fake smile.
"Any question?" he asked. One of the twins raised his hand, but the cloaked individual responded, "Keep it to yourself!"
He sighed as he closed his eyes, and when he opened them once again he was getting a little blurry vision but he pushed forward. "I'll begin by introducing myself, my name Son Ryoko. I come from the year 795, as all of you do as well, and for those of you that have a different year, that's the year here on Earth in your time. You must be going by a different scale, but trust me it's the year 795. I'll make this very clear, for all of you, everyone you see here, with the exception of a few people, are children of Gohan. I am the son of Gohan, like many of you. I know I look older and I am, I'm 22 years old, but my father is nevertheless Gohan."
"Time travel?" scoffed Videl.
Ryoko ignored her and continued, "BEFORE any of you start crying that your father would never cheat on your respective mother, while I can't vouch for your specific Gohan, we are all not from the same universe. In fact we are all from different universes. So your father Gohan didn't cheat on your mother. It's just a different universe with different outcomes."
Krillin with a coy smile playfully elbowed a blushing Gohan.
The others looked at one another. Most wore expression of shock at different levels. Some of the children had been told that there were others that claimed to be children of Gohan, so they didn't take the news as badly but still were shocked to get a confirmation. Then there was the lavender-skinned Bō staff wielder who had a perfectly serene expression, as if this was just another day.
The tailed Saiyan looked at Fuyu with a hateful expression. He just couldn't believe that she was a child of his father. No, he wouldn't believe it. There was just no way.
Fuyu on the other hand looked shocked at the revelation. Her thoughts were ranged from complete denial to reflection that she had attacked and almost killed people that were essentially her family; though she did not know them, her father had fathered them in different times. She bowed her head in shame at what she thought her father would say if he were here at the moment.
It was then that she realized her father was here. He looked different, but he was just a younger version of him. She looked up and saw some of the glances the others were throwing her way. She wanted to scowl, but just couldn't find in herself. She saw her father glance in her direction, but his facial expression was more of general embarrassment; still she took it as embarrassment towards her and her actions. Her purple eyes landed on the tailed Saiyan to her right and saw he was giving her an even greater glare then before, if that was even possible. Finally she saw the hulking armored young man in between, but to her surprise he was just smiling at her.
She half-smiled before turn back her attention to the speaker. There was still much to learn.
"Now that you all seem to be getting used to the idea, I can move on. It will be a process for you to accept it, but know that everyone here is essentially your sibling, and for the rest of our time together they will you comrades as well. If you have some kind of beef, as I can see some of you already have, I suggest you bury to hatched and quick," he stated with a roll of the eyes.
He shook his head once again. "Here is where our story begins: from a young age you can say I was scientifically-inclined, and at home I was supported in my endless curiosity. Eventually my field of interest turned to Time Travel and its effect. Is it possible? How can we do it? And what are the consequences do we face because of tampering with Time? Those were the question I set out to answer, and with the help of mom, what little time they allowed me to see her, I developed my first theory of Travel.
"I was young, but ambitious to know more. As a family we theorized how much and what kind of energy is required to break the hold on Time and travel through it; also the harsh conditions that we may experience while traveling, so capsule of sorts would be needed to protect the traveler. Some of you will draw parallels of my theory with the known traveler of Time; Trunks of the apocalyptic future. For those of you that don't know the story, ask someone later on.
"Moving on… it was the third question that would lead me to my second theory of Travel. What happens when you change something? Some believe that there is uniform timeline that will divert and the old future will cease to exist, but others believe that it will splinter and become its own timeline, and that both time lines will now be parallel to one another with a single point of intersection at the origin of the new timeline; both timelines are separated by a thin yet resilient layer. I believe the second, and all around you is evidence that the second option is the correct one.
"Time Travel is expensive, let me tell you. Parts alone are enough for anyone to scream to the high heavens, but mathematically and theoretically it appeared that traveling between what I now know as 'realities', wouldn't require as much energy, Zeni, and most importantly parts; since essentially they are gashes through Space. The traveler would still travel through the vortex that separates the 'realities', but the time inside of it is so minimal that it won't have the detrimental effects that traveling through Time would. It was the reason you all were able to travel through the portal and the vortex without the aid of anything exterior.
"Only drawback is that you can only travel within your year in every reality. It's why I said that you're all from the year 795, even if you work under a different scale," he stated while scratching the back of his head.
"Um, but—" Yamcha began but was interrupted by the speaker Ryoko.
"Ah ah aha, I'm speaking. What did I say about comments?" the cloaked Ryoko asked rhetorically. "Anyways, after a few experiments gone wrong I was able to make my first successful prototype." Ryoko lifted his wrist and a small attachment to his wrist glisten under the sun's ray. "This is a new version prototype, and if you're wondering why this is a prototype then I'll explain later on. At first I could only open a window that could let me see the world parallel to me, but I couldn't travel to it. I saw their decision and what eventually became of that timeline, but as much as I wanted to cross the 'window' I just didn't have enough power to do so. Years would pass and many failed experiments would come through; I would even get stranded in a different timeline looking for my way back, but eventually three years ago my prized possession and most successful version was complete.
"It allowed us endless wonders and the ability to travel anywhere we saw fit. And I did. For a year I traveled and saw how expansive our universe can be," he recalled with a certain glee.
Any further comments were stopped by the sounds of hovership landing near-by with a huge Capsule Corp. insignia. Vegeta, who had been flying alongside the ship since he refused to be cooped up inside, landed alongside the ship and looked on at all the interesting group of people in front.
"Hey guys," Bulma announced as she and eight year old Trunks jumped out of the open canopy.
Krillin laughed at Bulma's entrance, "Always late huh? Well get over here, we have a new threat on the horizon and this guy is telling us about it."
Pan walked over to Rize who seem to be shaking. Fuyu and the tailed-Saiyan, who were each on one side of Rize, looked towards the center where Rize seemed to be boiling with anger. His eyes completely blazed a reddish orange as he looked towards the new arrival, more specifically the crossed-armed Vegeta.
All three jumped back as short bursts of flames shot out each opening of his armor. Every muscle tensed and pulsating veins could be seen on Rize's exposed neck. Rize's teeth clenched and grinded past one another. Finally the short flame outburst combined to engulf him in a fireball with his fiery eyes still visible.
He blasted towards the Saiyan Prince at full speed. The others had no time to react as the rocketing young man reached Vegeta screaming, "VEGETAAAA I'LL MAKE YOU PAY!"
Rize's flaming fist collided with the unprepared Vegeta sending him crashing through the hovership and the skip across the once calm grassy plains.
AN: So that was the first battle. Let me know how I did. Also we see some glimpses to the backstories of some of these children. Let me know if you figure out who is the mother of some of these children.
I wanted to briefly explain two things as I'm sure someone would point this out if I don't mention it; one is Fuyu's change of personality towards the end. She said she hates people that hurt her family, and even though she doesn't consider these fighters her family, she still believes that if there is even a grain of truth to what Ryoko is saying then she almost killed her half-siblings. As we explore her backstory it will become evident why she considers family so important. At the same time she and the others are not sure if they completely believe Ryoko, but they are willing to listen.
The other issue is Rize's explosion towards the end, after being so mellow throughout the previous battle. The reason he didn't immediately jump in was because he made that mistake once during the day by jumping to conclusions and punching Pan, so he wanted to take his time an analysis the situation this time. I wonder what you guys think is the reason he can be so logical throughout the previous fight, but explode when he saw Vegeta. Also what do you think will happen next. Thank to all those that reviewed.
Dear Smithback,
Thank you, and yes one was similar to Frieza's race, Fuyu. She'll be interesting.
Dear Hikari-Kawaii,
There are a few glimpses in this chapter, but I think Rem, Vasco, and Ryoko were the ones with most detail.
Dear EmeraldSaiyan,
Thank you very much.
Dear Heero Yuy009,
Thank you :)
