"Knigh!" Corviknight flies high over the Motostoke Stadium's arena, before flying past a Dynamaxed Hitmonchan.
"Chan!" Hitmonchan watches Corviknight, before looking ahead at Dynamaxed Sirfetch'd.
"Sir, fetch!" Sirfetch'd holds its leek to the side.
"Attack with all your might, Hitmonchan!" A black belt, Jackie, says, before punching the air. "Use Max Knuckle!"
"Chan! Chan!" Hitmonchan throws a punch, sending a giant energy fist flying.
"Sirfetch'd, block with your own Max Knuckle!" Gloria instructs.
"Sir, fetch!" Sirfetch'd swings its leek, sending a giant energy fist flying.
Both energy fists collide with a large explosion, with Corviknight diving under the smoke.
"Knigh!"
"Corviknight, drop down with Steel Wing!" Victor calls out.
"Knigh!" Corviknight continues to fly down, with its wings glowing silver.
"Don't underestimate our power!" Another black belt, Bruce, yells, as he kicks straight up. "Hitmonlee, High Jump Kick!"
"Lee! Lee!" Hitmonlee jumps straight up, and kicks Corviknight in the chest.
"Now, Double Kick!"
"Lee! Lee!" Hitmonlee kicks Corviknight in the side, before sidekicks it again.
"C'mon, Corviknight! C'mon, Sirfetch'd! You can do it!" Hop cheers from the stands.
"Thwa! Thwa!" Thwackey jumps up and down next to its Trainer.
"Hitmonchan, put on the pressure! Max Lightning!" Jackie punches.
"Chan! Chan!" Hitmonchan punches forward, releases a large blast of electricity.
"Sir, fetch!" Sirfetch'd tries to block with its leaf shield, but gets blasted.
"Sirfetch'd!" Gloria calls out.
"Corviknight, grab Hitmonlee and fly high up," Victor instructs, with Gloria looking over to him.
"No you don't, Hitmonlee, Double Kick!" Bruce performs a kick.
"Lee! Lee!" Hitmonlee kicks at the approaching Corviknight, who flies around the attack.
"Knigh!" Corviknight flies over Hitmonlee's spin kick, before flies around it, grabs its shoulders and then flies up with it.
"What are you doing?" Bruce asks.
"It doesn't matter, they can't beat our training," Jackie holds up a fist, before punching into the air. "Hitmonchan, attack Corviknight with Max Lightning!"
"Chan!" Hitmonchan holds back a fist, as Corviknight flies up with Hitmonlee.
"Now, Corviknight, throws Hitmonlee at Hitmonchan!" Victor calls out.
"Knigh!" Corviknight stops in midair and throws its talons forward, sending Htimonlee flying.
"Chan!" Hitmonchan punches, sending a blast of lightning, hitting Hitmonlee.
"Lee!" Hitmonlee falls onto the ground, with its eyes whirling. "Lee…"
"Hitmonlee!" Bruce calls out.
"You won't get away with that!" Jackie yells. "Hitmonchan, Max Lightning again!"
"Not this time," Gloria says. "Sirfetch'd, Max Guard!"
"Chan! Chan!" Hitmonchan punches, sending a blast of lightning.
"Sir, fetch!" Sirfetch'd stands in front of the hovering Corviknight, holding up its leaf shield with a large glowing shield appearing in front of it.
"Follow it up with Max Flutterby!" Gloria calls out.
"Sir!" Sirfetch'd swings its leek, as its body glows a slight green, followed by a large number of green energy Butterfree flies from its body. "Fetch!"
The energy Butterfree flies into Hitmonchan, hitting it repeatedly, causing a massive explosion and Hitmonchan falling backward, "Chan!"
Hitmonchan's back slams against the Max Barrier, before it glows and shrinks back to normal size, with its eyes whirling.
"Hitmonchan!" Jackie runs over to his Pokémon, as Bruce helps Hitmonlee to its feet.
"Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee are unable to battle!" Dan announces. "The winners are Victor and Gloria!"
"Alright!" Victor and Gloria high five.
"Knigh!" Corviknight lands next to Sirfetch'd, after it returns to normal size.
"Sir, fetch," Sirfetch'd smiles.
Outside the stadium, Silicobra is watching the large screen in the lobby, with the screen showing Victor smiling.
"Sili…" Silicobra smiles slightly.
"This is the best part!"
Silicobra nearly jumps before looking to its right.
"All of it is the best part!"
Silicobra turns and slithers away in the opposite direction, as Jean and Paul walk over, with them watching Paul's Rotom Phone.
"Exactly, Jean, obviously there is no bad part!" Paul yells.
"Oh! Here, she is making another move!" Jean points at the Rotom Phone's screen.
"Morpeko, get in close and use Spark!" Marnie holds out a hand, on the screen.
"Morpe!" Morpeko, in Full Belly Mode, runs ahead with its body charged with electricity.
Jean and Paul continue to watch the Rotom Phone, before hearing a loud bang sound.
"Alright! That shows that Gym Leader!" Paul yells.
"Yeah! For all her talk of 'pink', Marnie left her black and blue!" Jean yells.
"What's that?!" Paul asks, as he pockets his Rotom Phone and looks over to the stadium.
"What what?!" Jean asks, looking the same way.
They see inside the stadium's lobby are a bunch of people standing around.
"I don't believe how good a team Victor and Gloria are," a girl says.
"Definitively, it's obvious they have a level of trust with each other and their Pokémon," a guy says.
"Victor's also a Gym Challenger, right?" another girl holds a finger to her chin. "I should check out the archive recordings of his Gym Battles."
Another guy nods his head, "Can't wait to see what he brings in the Champion Cup."
"They are talking about that Gym Challenger wannabe!" Paul yells.
"And that non-Gym Challenger wannabe!" Jean yells.
"Instead of Marnie!" both yell, with the four people in the lobby looking around, confused.
Later, Victor and Gloria are leaving the stadium.
"I feel sorry for Jackie and Bruce, Hop gonna talk their ears off," Gloria jokes.
"It wasn't that bad, Hop just wants to know more about Fighting types and how they trained," Victor says.
"Still, I bet Hop would still be talking with them when we came back from the Pokémon Center," Gloria says.
Victor smiles, before looking to the side to see Marnie approaching them as she checks the contents of her backpack, "Marnie?"
Marnie looks ahead, "Oh, Victor, Gloria. Nice to see you here."
"You aren't in the Galarian Star Tournament, are you?" Gloria asks.
"No, I'm not close with anyone I can participate in a Multi-Battle with," Marnie starts, as Victor and Gloria look at each other for a moment. "I'm just stocking up on supplies before going on a training run in the Wild Area. My last Gym Battle wasn't to my liking."
"Well, Marnie, you could hang out with us sometime, maybe do some training together," Victor says.
"Oh, hum, thanks, that's very nice of you," Marnie says, blushing slightly.
Not too far from the three Trainers, Paul and Jean are peeking around a corner.
"I don't believe this!" Jean yells.
"Ssh! Remember, we need to keep our voices down or they hear us…" Paul whispers loudly.
"Sorry, it's just hard not to express my spirit at full volume…" Jean whispers loudly.
"I feel the same, but we must do this once…" Paul whispers loudly. "But yeah, look at them, acting so chummy with Marnie…"
"When she's so above them in all things…" Jean adds.
"So we should knock them down a peg…" Paul whispers loudly.
"And knock them hard…" Jean whispers loudly.
Victor and Gloria are leaving the Pokémon Center, with Victor looking at a Poké Ball in his hand.
"So, any thoughts on who you gonna use in the third round?" Gloria asks.
"Actually, I've been thinking about it…" Victor places the Poké Ball into his bag.
"Sili…"
Victor and Gloria stop walking and see a Silicobra several feet away from them.
"A Silicobra?" Gloria realizes. "I don't realize they come into town."
"Sili…" Silicobra looks to the side, nervously, before looking back over to Victor. "Sili…"
"Could it be…?" Victor wonders.
"Sili…" Silicobra continues to look at Victor in the eyes.
"You are!" Victor realizes. "You're that Silicobra?"
"Sili…" Silicobra, in front of Jean and Paul, lowers its head and backs away from them.
"Sili…" Silicobra moves back slightly, before quickly slithering through the tall grass.
"I guess it's still afraid," Gloria says, as Victor rubs the back of his head.
"Oh yeah, the Silicobra that Team Yell was bothering," Gloria remembers.
"But that was outside Hammerlocke, I wonder how it got here?" Victor asks.
Gloria looks over to Silicobra, who is still staring at Victor, with she smiles, "Maybe it found its way here, somehow, looking for you."
"You think?" Victor asks, before looking over to Silicobra.
"Sili…"
After Victor and Gloria pass a tree, Silicobra peeks out from behind the tree, and with them some distance away, Silicobra starts to slowly follow after them.
Victor and Scorbunny sit down next to a house, trying to catch their breath.
Unaware to the two, Silicobra looks around a nearby cliff at the two.
Silicobra watches as Victor and Scorbunny get up, and it smiles, "Sili."
Suddenly Silicobra jumps out, toward the Arctovish, and then spins around, hitting the Pokémon and sending it flying into the distance.
Silicobra lands near Victor, who starts to motion, then quickly slithers away.
Victor stands next to Gloria, as she hands the sketchbook back to Duncan.
Unknown to them, behind a nearby boulder, Silicobra is coiled up as it sleeps.
Silicobra comes out of the entrance at the top of the stands of the Stow-on-Side Stadium, nervously looking around at all of the people and Pokémon, before starting watching the arena.
Victor, Gloria, and Sonia start laughing, unaware that Silicobra pushes the stadium's door open, exiting, before seeing Victor.
"Sili…" Silicobra watches Victor, before slowly slithering toward him.
"Silicobra… do you want to come with me?" Victor asks.
Silicobra stops slithering, before it smiles, "Sili."
After a few seconds, Victor smiles, "I would be happy to have you come with us."
Gloria smiles, as she crosses her arms.
Victor throws a Poké Ball, "Go, Poké Ball!"
The Poké Ball hits the top of Silicobra's head, then opens, with Silicobra turns into red energy and flies into the Poké Ball, which then closes and lands. The Poké Ball then shakes a couple times before stops shaking, with a couple stars shooting out of the button.
Victor picks up the Poké Ball and holds it high, "I caught Silicobra!"
Meanwhile, across the street, Jean and Paul peek around a corner, watching them.
"Was that really the same, scaredy Meowth Silicobra…?" Jean asks, loudly.
"Imagine getting excited for catching such a Pokémon…" Paul whispers loudly.
"But it will be perfect for our plan…" Jean whispers loudly.
"Perfect indeed…" Paul whispers loudly.
In the stadium's locker room, Gloria is holding a Poké Ball, "Okay, I'm going with Sobble." She looks over to Victor, who is seated on a bench, holding a Poké Ball. "What about you?"
"I think I will choose Pikachu," Victor says.
"Right," Gloria looks away, holding up her Rotom Phone. "We better hurry up, our match will begin soon."
Victor places his backpack on the bench and starts to put three Poké Balls into it. He then holds up a fourth Poké Ball, "Don't worry, Silicobra, you'll get to battle soon enough."
Victor places the Poké Ball in the backpack, before going to tie his shoes. At the same time, a full laundry basket rolls itself over to behind the bench, before a pair of hands reach out from the laundry basket, take the Poké Ball seating on the bench next to Victor and the Poké Ball on top of the backpack and then switch them, followed by returning to the laundry basket.
"Okay," Victor picks up the Poké Ball and his backpack, then gets up from the bench. "Let's go."
Jean and Paul peek out of the laundry basket and start giggling.
In the arena, Victor and Gloria are walking out, with Dan holding a hand to the other side, "And Flora and Hailey!"
Two women, one with green hair, Flora, and the other with light blue hair, Hailey, walk onto the arena.
"Now, choose your Pokémon," Dan instructs.
"Go, Shiftry!" Flora throws a Poké Ball.
"Shift! Ty!"
Victor's Rotom Phone flies up, "Shiftry, the Wicked Pokémon, It lives quietly in the deep forest. It is said to create chilly winter winds with the fans it holds."
"Go, Eiscue!" Hailey throws a Poké Ball.
"Eis, cu!"
Gloria's Rotom Phone flies up, "Eiscue, the Penguin Pokémon, It drifted in on the flow of ocean waters from a frigid place. It keeps its head iced constantly to make sure it stays nice and cold."
Gloria holds down her Rotom Phone, then looks at Victor, "Now, it's our turn."
"Right," Victor nods his head.
Gloria throws a Poké Ball, "Go, Sobble!"
"Sobbl."
Victor throws a Poké Ball, "Go…"
"Sili."
"Silicobra?" Victor realizes.
"You chose Silicobra?" Gloria asks. "I thought you were going with Pikachu?"
"My Poké Balls must've somehow got mixed up, and I left my other Poké Balls in the locker room…" Victor explains.
"It doesn't matter, either way, you already chose your Pokémon, you won't be able to change," Gloria reminds him.
"I know, it just…" Victor starts before he notices Silicobra.
"Sili…" Silicobra looks around at the stands surrounding the arena, while sweating. "Sili…"
"Silicobra, it gonna be okay," Victor knees down to his Pokémon. "I'm sorry for sending you out for your first battle in such a situation…"
"Sili…" Silicobra looks over to its Trainers, nervously.
"But I promise, you will be okay," Victor says.
"Sili…"
"What do you think's going on with them?" Flora asks.
"Don't know, but let's capitalize on it," Hailey says, before holding out a hand. "Eiscue, Icy Wind!"
"Shiftry, Leaf Blade!" Flora calls out.
"Eis, cu!" Eiscue shoots out a freezing blast of wind from its beak.
"Shift! Ty!" Shiftry runs ahead, as one of its leaves-like hands glows.
"Sobble, quick, block with Water Pulse!" Gloria calls out.
"Sili?" Silicobra watches as Sobble jumps out in front of it.
"Sobbl!" Sobble waves around its hands and shoots a pulsing blast of water.
The freezing blast of wind hits the pulsing blast of water, freezing it in midair before shattering, with Shiftry continuing to run ahead.
"Shift! Ty!" Shiftry runs up to Sobble and strikes it with its glowing hand, knocking Sobble back.
"Sobbl!" Sobble flies pass Silicobra, who watches it.
"Sili…" Silicobra then looks ahead to see Shiftry standing before it. "Sili!"
"Silicobra, you gonna be okay," Victor tries to reassure his Pokémon. "Just use Brutal Swing!"
"Sili, Sili," Silicobra closes its eyes and spins around, swinging its tail.
"Shift!" Shifty jumps back, dodging the tail.
"Sili, Sili," Silicobra spins again, swinging its tail.
"Sobbl," Sobble returns to its feet, when Silicobra's tail hits it. "Sobbl!"
"Sobble!" Gloria calls out.
"Sili," Silicobra opens its eyes and sees Sobble knocked on the ground, before quickly going over to Sobble and nods its head. "Sili, Sili."
"Sobbl," Sobble starts to get up.
"Sobble, we're really sorry," Victor says, after sliding over to the two Pokémon, with Silicobra continuing to nod its head.
"If they keep on damaging each other, then this might be a quick battle," Hailey says, with a hand on her hip.
In the stands, Hop crosses his arms, "Why would Victor use such an inexperienced Pokémon in a tournament match?"
"Thwa?" Thwackey tilts its head.
After hearing some odd mumbling, Hop turns his head and sees tens of seats away are Jean and Paul, "Wait, is that those Team Yell guys?"
"This is working better than we thought…" Paul whispers, loudly.
"This should teach that wannabe and that never could who the top Gym Challenger is…" Jean whispers, loudly.
As Paul and Jean continue to mumble, the people and Pokémon around them are watching the pair with sweet drops.
"Hey, Flora, how about we try that same trick we did in the first round?" Hailey asks her partner.
"Sound good, Hailey," Flora says, before holding out a hand, "Shiftry, Leaf Tornado!"
Haily holds out a hand, "Eiscue, Icy Wind!"
"Shift!" Shiftry holds back one leaves-like hand, before swings its forward, sending out a tornado of leaves.
"Sili…"
"Sobbl!"
The tornado of leaves fly to Silicobra and Sobble, surrounding them, before Eiscue comes running over.
"Eis!" Eiscue then jumps up and shoots a freezing wind from its beak into the center of the tornado.
"Sili!"
"Sobbl!"
The leaves strike around Silicobra and Sobble as the freezing wind blasts them, knocking both Pokémon to the ground.
The tornado dissipates as Silicobra and Sobble try to get back up.
"Sobble!" Gloria calls out.
"Silicobra, are you okay?!" Victor calls out.
"Okay, now Shiftry, move in and use Leaf Blade!" Flora instructs.
"Shift! Ty!" Shiftry runs back up to the two Pokémon.
"Sili!" Silicobra calls out before jumping up and dives into the ground, creating a hole as it digs.
"Shift?" Shiftry stops at the hole.
"Sobbl?" Sobble looks over, surprised.
"I didn't know Silicobra knows Dig," Gloria says.
"It must have just learned it," Victor guesses.
"In that case…" Flora says.
"Shift," Shiftry looks over to Sobble.
"Sobbl?!"
"Sobble, quick, dodge!" Gloria calls out.
"Shift! Ty!" Shiftry jumps at Sobble, swinging its leaves-like hand, as it glows, with Sobble dodging each attempt.
"Sobbl! Sobbl!"
"Which leaves Silicobra to us," Hailey starts. "Eiscue, use Icy Wind into the hole!"
"Eis, cue!" Eiscue jumps over to the hole and then shoots a freezing wind from its mouth into the hole.
Suddenly, Silicobra is blasted out of the ground, making another hole, as the freezing wind blasts it, "Sili!"
"Silicobra!" Victor calls out. "There got to be something I can do to help Silicobra. But it's just so nervous and scare, like I was… Wait, that's it!"
"Besides my real problem is everyone in the audience watching…" Victor says.
"Then just pretend they are not there," Mia suggests.
"What?" Victor asks.
"If your problem is people watching, then just pretend that no one are watching," Mia says. "If you pretend no one is there, then it should be easier, right?"
"If it worked for me then maybe it'll work for Silicobra," Victor thinks.
"Sili…" Silicobra starts to get up.
"Silicobra," Victor says, with his Pokémon looking over to him. "I understand how you feel. I got nervous and self-confident very easily, and it doesn't help to have so many people watching you. But it might help to pretend that no one is watching."
"Sili…" Silicobra continues to watch Victor.
"How sweet, too bad we still have a battle to do," Hailey says. "Eiscue, Icy Wind!"
"Not this time," Gloria starts. "Sobble, get away and use Pound!"
"Sobbl!" Sobble jumps back to avoid Shiftry's strike, before jumping forward, bouncing off Shiftry's head and past it. "Sobbl!"
"Eis!" Eiscue calls out, as its freezing breath spills out of its beak.
"Sobbl!" Sobble brings its hands down on Eiscue's head.
"Cue!" Eiscue yells, as the snow cube around its head breaks apart, revealing its small, oval-shaped head.
"What the?" Victor says.
"That must be Eiscue's Ice Face Ability I heard about," Gloria realizes. "It's now in its Noice Face Form."
"Shift!" Shiftry jumps forward, with a small bump on its head.
"Sobbl!" Sobble calls out, panickly, and jumps away from Eiscue, who raises its head.
"Sili…" Silicobra sees Eiscue's face and after a couple seconds, starts to laugh. "Sili! Sili!"
"Eis!" Eiscue blushes, as it becomes angry. "Cue! Eis! Cue!"
Eiscue starts to blast a freezing wind from its beak.
"Sili!" Silicobra stops laughing and jumps out of the way, dodging the wind. Upon landing, Silicobra looks around and notices the crowds in the stands, with it lowers its head and sweats.
"Silicobra's becoming nervous again… but it stopped when it was distracted…" Victor realizes. "Maybe it's just need to be unable to see the crowd! Silicobra, quick, use Dig!"
"Sili!" Silicobra jumps and digs into the ground, leaving behind a large hole.
Gloria looks away from Sobble dodging Shiftry's attacks and to her friend, "Victor, what are you doing?"
"While underground, Silicobra can't see the crowd, if it's down there long enough it might be able to calm itself," Victor tells her.
"Except that Silicobra won't be safe underground," Hailey says. "Eiscue, use Icy Wind into the hole again!"
"No," Gloria looks back to her Pokémon. "Sobble, Water Gun!"
"Sobbl!" Sobble jumps back, away from Shiftry, and fires a blast of water from its mouth.
"Shiftry, block it!" Flora instructs.
"Shift!" Shiftry jumps to the side, holding up its leaves-like hands as a makeshift shield, blocking most of the water blast, except a quarter of the attack slips through and barely hits Eiscue.
"Eis!" Eiscue is forced back from the hole in the ground.
"Silicobra, here your chance, attack!" Victor calls out, as his voice reaches through the underground path that Silicobra had dug.
"Sili."
Suddenly, Silicobra bursts out of the ground, beneath Eiscue, knocking it back, "Cue!"
"Okay, Silicobra, block everything out except my voice and use Headbutt!" Victor calls out.
"Sili!" Silicobra lunges forward, headbutting Eiscue, knocking it back.
"Eis! Cue!"
"Shiftry, hurry, use Leaf Blade on Silicobra!" Flora calls out.
"Shift!" Shiftry turns around, as one of its leaves-like hands glow, before Sobble hits Shiftry in the back with its hands. "Try!"
"Alright, Sobble, good job!" Gloria yells.
"Sobbl," Sobble smiles.
"You might have gotten your second wind, but you're still gonna lose," Hailey gets angry. "Eiscue, use Hail!"
"What?!" Flora yells.
"Eis! Cue!" Eiscue holds its hands to the side, as a large hail storm blows pass it, blasting the other three Pokémon.
"Sili!"
"Sobbl!"
"Shift!"
"Hailey, what the deal? You know Hail damages all non Ice types, including Shiftry!" Flora tells her friend.
"I'm sorry, it's a small sacrifice to ensure victory," Haily says. "Besides, look…" the two turn as Eiscue's head becomes covered in snow and forms the snow cube again. "Hail restored Eiscue's Ice Face."
"Sili," Silicobra shakes its head slightly, as it lifts it.
"Silicobra, it gonna be okay," Victor says, with his Pokémon looks to him. "Just focus on your targets and use Brutal Swing."
"Sili," Silicobra nods its head, looks back ahead, inhales and exhales, then slithers ahead. "Sili!"
Shiftry returns to its feet next to Eiscue, as Silicobra approaches them.
"Sili!" Silicobra spins around, swinging its tail, hitting Shiftry, with Eiscue jumping out of the way.
"Shift…" Shiftry falls down, with its eyes whirling.
"Shiftry is unable to battle!" Dan announces.
"My poor Shiftry!" Fora yells.
"Okay, I'm done playing around," Hailey holds out a Poké Ball and holds it out.
Eiscue turns into red energy and flies into Hailey's Poké Ball. Haily holds out her hands, as a large, red glowing Poké Ball surrounds it, before she spins around and throws it, "Eiscue, Dynamax!"
The large Poké Ball opens and shoots out massive red energy, as it takes shape and grows, forming a giant Eiscue, "Eis! Cue!"
"Look like we're up," Gloria holds up her hand, as Sobble jumps back to her, before she notices Victor's Dynamax Band giving a slight glow. "Victor, your Dynamax Band."
Victor holds up his Dynamax Band, "Yeah, it's weird, but I can feel my bond with Silicobra growing during this battle." He looks over to Gloria, with a small smile. "Mind if we handle this?"
"Of course not, go for it," Gloria says.
"Sobbl," Sobble smiles.
Victor nods, before he holds out a Poké Ball, which shoots out a red beam, turning Silicobra into red energy, and flies into the Poké Ball. "Go, Silicobra!" Victor then holds out his hands, with the large, glowing Poké Ball surrounding it, before Victor starts to turn around, "Dynamax!"
Victor throws the large Poké Ball which opens and shoots out a massive red energy, as it starts to take shape and grows, until it forms a giant Silicobra, "Sili!"
"Sili…" Silicobra looks around, noticing the crowd in the stands, as it blushes and sweats.
"Silicobra!" Victor calls out, with his Pokémon looking down at its Trainer. "It's gonna be okay. You're scared, but remember, not now or ever, you aren't alone. You got me. And you got Gloria and Sobble. We are with you."
Silicobra looks over to Gloria and Sobble, both who nod their heads, "Sili…" Silicobra nods its head and looks ahead. "Sili!"
"Cute," Hailey smiles, then holds out a hand. "Eiscue, burst their bubble. Use Max Hailstorm!"
"Eis! Cue!" Eiscue holds out its hands, yelling at the sky, as white clouds swirl above it and large hail start shooting down.
"Sobbl! Sobbl!" Sobble runs and jumps left to right, dodging the large hail as they hit the ground.
"Sili!" Silicobra closes its eyes and lowers its head, as the large hail hits it.
"Silicobra can't dodge the hail at its size," Gloria realizes.
"Then we'll counter," Victor says. "Silicobra, use Max Quake!"
"Sili!" Silicobra raises its head, and slams its tail onto the ground, with the ground beneath Eiscue starts to crack before collapsing completely under its feet, followed by a large explosion.
"Alright!" Victor calls out.
As the dust clears, Eiscue is seen unharmed, with the snow cube around its head falling apart.
"Well, at least we got it back to its Noice Face form," Victor says, with a sweatdrop.
"Not impressed," Hailey says, before looking up at her Pokémon. "Eiscue, Max Geyser!"
"Eis! Cue!" Eiscue blasts a large blast of water stream from its mouth, hitting Silicobra and slamming it against the Max Barrier.
"Sili!"
"Silicobra!" Victor calls out.
"Sobbl!" Sobble runs ahead, as a large piece of hail hits the ground behind it, before stopping and looks up. "Sobbl?"
Gloria sighs, "At least using Max Geyser cancelled out the hail."
"I don't need a hailstorm to win," Hailey says.
"Sili…" Silicobra leans forward, away from the Max Barrier, catching its breath, before looking ahead. "Sili."
"Silicobra isn't giving up," Victor realizes. "And neither will us." He looks over to his friend. "Gloria, has Sobble gets onto Silicobra's head."
"Right," Gloria nods her head, then looks at her Pokémon. "You heard him, Sobble. Let's do it!"
"Sobbl!" Sobble calls out, before starting to climb up Silicobra's back and onto its head. "Sobbl."
"Sili," Silicobra's eyes look up at Sobble on its head.
"Okay, Silicobra, get close to Eiscue," Victor instructs.
"Sili!" Silicobra starts to slither ahead.
"You're just giving us a single target," Hailey says. "Eiscue, let's end this with Max Geyser."
"Eis! Cue!" Eiscue shoots out a large blast of water stream from its mouth.
"Sili! Sili!" Silicobra slithers to the side, dodging the water stream, as it tries to follow Silicobra before finally dissipating, and Silicobra gets closer to Eiscue.
"Here's our chance…!" Victor calls out.
"No, you don't…!" Hailey calls out.
Victor and Hailey yell, "Use Max Strike!"
"Eis!" Eiscue slams a hand onto the ground. "Cue!"
"Sili!" Silicobra slams its tail onto the ground, as Sobble jumps off its head.
A part of the ground under both Dynamaxed Pokémon start to crack, before a large explosion geyser shoots up, blasting Eiscue and Silicobra.
"Sobble, use Water Pulse!" Gloria calls out.
"Sobbl!" Sobble, high in midair, waves its hands together, as it gives off a slight glow, before shooting a pulsing blast of water, slamming Eiscue in the face, knocking it backward.
Both Eiscue and Silicobra fall onto the ground, before glowing and shrinking back down to normal size, as Sobble lands next to them. Eiscue and Silicobra's eyes are whirling.
"Eis…"
"Sili…"
"Eiscue and Silicobra are both unable to battle!" Dan raises a hand in the air. "With Sobble's the last Pokémon left standing, the winners are Victor and Gloria!"
"Sobbl?" Sobble tilts its head slightly.
Hailey helps Eiscue to its feet, "You did a good job, Eiscue."
"Eis," Eiscue looks up at its Trainer.
Hailey looks over to Flora and Shiftry as they approach, "And you guys, I'm sorry for using Hail so reckless like that."
"It's okay, we're fine," Flora smiles.
"Shift," Shiftry smiles.
Meanwhile in the stands, Jean yells, "What?! Silicobra wasn't supposed to win!"
"No way! That wannabe is trying to make Marnie look bad!" Paul yells.
Everyone, including the Pokémon, seating around Jean and Paul look at the pair weirdly, before sliding away from them.
Back on the arena, Victor knees next to his Pokémon, "You were awesome, Silicobra."
"Sili," Silicobra smiles, before noticing the crowd watching them are cheering, then lowers its head and sweating. "Sili…"
"And we're gonna work on your nervousness," Victor adds.
Gloria picks up Sobble in her arms, who smiles at her, "Sobbl."
Gloria smiles, "Before, I thought I saw Sobble glowing for a second. But no way, I must have been seeing things."
"You were awesome too, Sobble," Gloria says.
"Hey, I just realized," Victor stands up and looks at Gloria. "We just made it to the finals."
"Oh yeah, I wonder who our opponents are gonna be?" Gloria asks.
In the locker room, a pair of Trainers are watching the screen showing Victor and Gloria in the arena.
"They definitely look strong," the male Trainer says.
"Yeah, can't wait to battle them," the female Trainer adds. "And beat them."
"While they faced some problems, Victor and Gloria had succeeded in battling their ways to the Galarian Star Tournament's finals. Now with only little time to prepare themselves, and surely up against tough opponents, will our heroes be able to win the entire Tournament?"
