"Victor and Gloria had entered the Galarian Star Tournament as a team and won their ways into the finals, while making a new friend in Silicobra. But are they prepared for what comes next…?"

"A Star-Spangled Finale"

Inside the Motostoke Stadium's locker room, Victor and Gloria are seated in front of their floating Rotom Phones, with Vicki appearing on one screen and Glory appearing on the other screen, while Scorbunny and Sobble are on the floor next to them.

"We're so happy that you two are doing so well in the tournament," Vicki smiles.

"Yeah, and it reminds us of our own Galarian Star Tournament days," Glory adds. "It was some of the best times of our young lives."

Gloria smiles, "Well, it's been really fun competing in a tournament, even if it's just once," Gloria says.

"It's really good that you get to experience different things," Glory says. "After all, that's what life is all about."

Gloria smiles.

"So Victor, how are you doing?" Vicki asks her son.

"In all honesty, I'm a little bit nervous," Victor admits. "But I'm also loving the experience of the tournament, and I think it's preparing me for the Galar League Champion Cup."

"I'm really glad, Victor," Vicki says. "I'm sure you'll do fine."

"Thanks, mom," Victor responds.

"And we wish you the best of luck in the Galarian Star," Glory adds, with Vicki nodding.

Victor and Gloria look at each other and smile.

Shortly, in the middle of the stadium's arena, Dan raises a hand to a cheering crowd, "Now, to begin the final round of the Galarian Star Tournament!"

Gym Leader Opal is watching Dan on a TV screen, as she seats in her chair, as Dan continues, "Will the Trainers enter the arena."

Bede is watching Dan on his Rotom Phone, in his inn room, as Dan continues, "First up is Victor…"

"And Gloria!"

Vicki and Glory are watching on a TV screen, while sitting on the couch in Vicki's house.

In the stands, Hop is seated with Thwackey, Orbeetle, Sirfetch'd, Corviknight, Pikachu, Toxel, and Silicobra.

"Alright everyone, let's give Victor and Gloria, our biggest cheer," Hop says to the Pokémon, before the Pokémon cheer in unison.

"And Kato and Aelita!" Dan holds out a hand to the other side of the arena.

Kato, a young man with blonde hair, and Aelita, a young lady with a large hair bun, walk onto the arena.

"Okay, everyone, choose your Pokémon," Dan instructs.

Victor throws a Poké Ball, "Go, Scorbunny!"

"Scor!"

Gloria throws a Poké Ball, "Go, Sobble!"

"Sobbl."

"Kato throws a Poké Ball, "Go, Vikavolt!"

"Vi-volt!"

Aelita throws a Poké Ball, "Go, Eevee!"

"Vee! Vee!"

Victor's Rotom Phone flies up, "Vikavolt, the Stag Beetle Pokémon, It builds up electricity in its abdomen, focuses it through its jaws, and then fires the electricity off in concentrated beams."

Gloria's Rotom Phone flies up, "Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon, It has the ability to alter the composition of its body to suit its surrounding environment."

"Let the battle begin!" Dan raises a hand.

"Vikavolt, focus on Sobble!" Kato holds out a hand. "Discharge!"

"Vi-volt!" Vikavolt flies ahead, with its mandibles surging with electricity before firing it off.

"Sobbl! Sobbl!" Sobble panicky dodges each electricity burst that flies past it.

"Scorbunny, help Sobble!" Victor instructs.

"Scor!" Scorbunny jumps to the side.

"Not so fast, Eevee, Quick Attack!" Aelita calls out.

"Vee!" Eevee runs ahead, and slams its body against Scorbunny, knocking it back.

"Now, Swift!" Aelita adds.

"Vee! Vee!" Eevee spins around, waving its tail, launching a series of stars that hit Scorbunny.

"Scor!"

"Scorbunny!" Victor calls out.

"Sobble, quick, jump onto Vikavolt!" Gloria instructs.

"Sobbl!" Sobble jumps up, as Vikavolt flies past it and lands on its back.

"Vi-volt!"

"Now, use Pound!" Gloria calls out.

"Sobbl!" Sobble slams its hands down on Vikavolt's back, but it seems to do little damage.

"Vi-volt…"

"You gotta be kidding me," Kato says, before snapping his fingers. "Vikavolt, flies straight up!"

"Vi-volt!" Vikavolt starts to fly up, with Sobble holding on.

"Sobble!" Gloria calls out.

"Vi-volt!"

"Sobbl… Sobbl…" Sobble tries to hold onto Vikavolt's back, before sliding off and starts to fall. "Sobbl!"

"Vikavolt, Thunderbolt!" Kato instructs.

"Vi-volt!" Vikavolt's mandible is charging with electricity.

"Scor!" Scorbunny looks up to see the falling Sobble, as Vikavolt goes after it, before going after Sobble. "Scor!"

"No heroics for you!" Aelita starts. "Eevee, Bite!"

"Vee!" Eevee charges ahead, with a large jaw glows around its mouth and then clamps onto Scorbunny's side.

"Scor!"

"Vee!" Eevee throws back its head, throwing Scorbunny through the air.

"Vi-volt!" Vikavolt fires a massive blast of electricity from its mandibles, blasting Sobble.

"Sobbl!"

"Sobble!" Gloria calls out, as Sobble is thrown through the air.

Sobble lands hard on the ground, but manages to push itself up, "Sobbl… Sobbl…"

"Sobble, you gonna be okay," Gloria's relieved.

"I'm impressed, not many Water-types can stand after receiving one of my Vikavolt's Thunderbolt," Kato grins.

"Scor…" Scorbunny returns to its feet.

"It's nice wanting to help your friend, but Scorbunny should really focus on itself," Aelita crosses her arms.

"She's right, Scorbunny," Victor tells his Pokémon. "Let's focus on Eevee, then we can help Sobble after beating it."

"Scor," Scorbunny nods its head.

In the stands, Victor and Gloria's other Pokémon are cheering them on, while back on the arena, Sobble jumps left to right, dodging small bursts of electricity from Vikavolt.

"Alright, Scorbunny, Double Kick!" Victor calls out.

"Scor!" Scorbunny jumps and launches a kick, but Eevee jumps out of the way, before Scorbunny jumps at it again and launches another kick, while Eevee runs ahead to dodge it.

"Let's try and slow it down with Ember!" Victor instructs.

"Scor!" Scorbunny fires a series of small fireballs from its mouth.

"Vee! Vee!" Eevee runs ahead of the fireballs, before jumping and dodging as they hit the ground.

"Sobbl!"

Victor and Scorbunny both look to the side to see Sobble gets blasted by a burst of electricity.

Sobble is thrown through the air.

Victor and Gloria are talking with their mothers on their Rotom Phone, as Scorbunny and Sobble watch from the floor.

Sobble watches as Gloria says, "Well, it's been really fun competing in a tournament, even if it's just once."

"Sobbl…"

Sobble continues to fall through the air, thinking about Gloria smiling.

Sobble falls onto the ground and doesn't move.

"Sobble is unable to…" Dan starts to announce.

"Wait!" Gloria interrupts, as they see Sobble slowly pushing itself up.

"Sobbl… Sobbl…" Sobble tries to push itself up, but is having trouble, before managing to push itself up a bit, with its body giving a glow. "Sobbl…"

"It's glowing, just like last time…" Gloria realizes.

"Sobbl!" Sobble, high in midair, waves its hands together, as it gives off a slight glow, before shooting a pulsing blast of water.

"It's not a Dynamax reaction, then what could it be…?" Gloria wonders.

Vicki and Glory are watching on the TV, as Sobble is glowing.

Glory places a finger to her chin, "I wonder, could it be…?"

"I don't know what this light show is all about, but it doesn't matter," Kato swings an arm to the side. "Vikavolt, finish this with Zap Cannon!"

"Vi-Volt!" Vikavolt calls out, as a ball of electricity forms between its mandibles.

"We are out of options, now…" Gloria thinks to herself. "But maybe…" Gloria realizes. "Sobble, use Water Pulse on Eevee!"

"Sobbl!" Sobble waves its arms and fires a pulsing blast of water to the side.

"Eevee, watch out!" Aelita calls out.

"Vee?" Eevee is suddenly blasted to the side by the pulsing blast of water, as Scorbunny watches.

"Here's our chance, Scorbunny, use Ember on Vikavolt!" Victor instructs.

"Scor!" Scorbunny jumps up.

"What?!" Kato calls out.

"Scor!" Scorbunny shoots a series of small fireballs from its mouth.

"Vi-volt!" Vikavolt is bombarded by the small fireballs, with the ball of electricity dissipating.

"Now, Pound!"

"Sobbl!" Sobble jumps through the resulting smoke and slams its hands down on Vikavolt.

"Vi-volt…" Vikavolt falls down, with its eyes whirling.

"Vikavolt is unable to battle!" Dan raises a hand.

"Sobbl… Sobbl…" Sobble lands, breathing heavily, as it glows brighter.

Suddenly, Sobble starts to grow in size, with its fin shifting shape into three pieces of hair, before the glowing ceases, "Drizz."

"You evolved, that's great, Sobble, I mean, Drizzile," Gloria says to her Pokémon.

"Yeah, congratulates," Victor adds.

"Drizz," Drizzile softly replies.

"Scor," Scorbunny looks over to Drizzile, before looking away, displeased.

"Evolving will not change anything, neither having two against one," Aelita starts. "My Eevee is undefeated, especially once it unleashes its full power."

"Don't tell me," Victor says.

Aelita holds out a Poké Ball, which shoots out a red beam, turning Eevee into energy and flies back into the Poké Ball, "Let's go, Eevee!"

Aelita holds out her hands, as a large red Poké Ball surrounds it, before she turns around and throws it, "Gigantamax!"

The Poké Ball opens, shooting out a massive red energy, as it continues to grow in size, with Eevee's fur collar expanding to nearly cover its entire body, "Vee!"

"I was afraid of that," Victor says.

"Then, you should be terrified of this," Aelita says. "Eevee, use G-Max Cuddle!"

"Vee!" Eevee calls out, with shockwaves spread out from its body.

Cracks start to appear on the ground beneath Scorbunny and Drizzile, before a large explosion erupts, sending both Pokémon flying.

"Scor!"

"Drizz!"

Aelita crosses her arms, "It's too bad both of your Pokémon are males, or they would've become infatuated with Eevee." She shrugs her shoulders. "But it doesn't matter, Eevee, use Max Darkness!"

"Vee!"

Two dark beams shoot from Eevee's body, with Scorbunny and Drizzile dodging them as they fly past them, until one of the beams hit Scorbunny in the back, slamming it onto the ground, forming a dark dome around it and then explodes, sending Scorbunny flying.

"Scor!"

Scorbunny lands hard on the ground, before slowly getting to its feet.

"Look like Scorbunny's low on energy," Aelita crosses her arms, grinning. "It's safe to say I have already won."

"Don't count us out just yet," Gloria says, when her Dynamax Band glows.

"Drizz!" Drizzile holds a hand to its side.

Gloria holds out a Poké Ball, which shoots out a red beam, turning Drizzile into energy and flies back into the Poké Ball. She holds out her hands, as the red Poké Ball surrounds it, before she turns and throws it, "Go, Drizzile, Dynamax!"

The red Poké Ball opens and shoots out Drizzile, as it grows to massive size, "Drizz!"

"Vee!" Eevee calls out, as more dark beams shoot out of it and toward Scorbunny.

"Drizz!" Drizzile scoops up Scorbunny in one hand, and runs to the side, dodging the dark beams, before jumping up and dodging them again, as they form a dark dome and explode beneath the Dynamaxed Pokémon.

"Gloria, have Drizzile places Scorbunny on Eevee's head," Victor tells his friend.

"Right," Gloria nods her head, then looks at her Pokémon. "You heard him, Drizzile."

"Drizz," Drizzile nods its head, before lands on the ground and runs ahead. "Drizz!"

Drizzile throws Scorbunny, who lands on Eevee's head, "Scor!"

"Scorbunny, use Double Kick!" Victor calls out.

"Scor!" Scorbunny kicks Eevee's head, before spinning and kicking it again.

"Eevee, run around and throw off that pest!" Aelita instructs.

"Vee!" Eevee starts to run ahead, with Scorbunny holding onto the fur collar.

"Drizzile, Max Geyser!" Gloria instructs.

"Drizz!" Drizzile starts to shoot a large water stream from its mouth.

"Scor!" Scorbunny jumps off Eevee, as it is hitted by the water stream on its side and blasted up against the Max Barrier.

"Scorbunny, Ember!"

"Scor!" Scorbunny, still midair, shoots a series of small fireballs down at Eevee.

"Vee!" Eevee pushes itself off the Max Barrier.

"Eevee, don't let them push you around!" Aelita calls out. "Use G-Max Cuddle!"

"Vee!" Eevee calls out, sending out shockwaves.

The ground beneath Drizzile cracks, before it jumps out of the way of the large explosion.

"Drizzile, let go, Max Geyser!" Gloria instructs.

"Drizz!" Drizzile, midair, shoots a large water stream from its mouth, straight down at Eevee.

As the water and smoke from the attack dissipates, Eevee glows and returns to normal, before falling down, with its eyes whirling, "Vee…"

"Eevee is unable to battle!" Dan raises a hand. "Victor and Gloria are the winners!"

"Alright! They did it!" Hop raises a fist, with the Pokémon around him, cheering.

"All yeah!" Vicki and Glory clap their hands together, happily.

Bede tightens his hold on his Rotom Phone.

Opal seats back in her chair, with a hand to her chin and small smile.

Later on, Leon is in the arena, shaking Victor and Gloria's hands, with all their Pokémon next to them, as the crowd cheers on.

"Congratulations, to all of you on winning the tournament," Leon says, before looking at Victor. "And I look forward to seeing what you're capable of in the Champion Cup, Victor."

Victor smiles, "We'll be ready."

"Pika!" Pikachu happily says, before it looks over to Scorbunny, who is unhappily looking at Drizzile. PIkachu tilts its head, "Pika?"

"Now," Leon turns to face away from the two Trainers and their Pokémon, waving his cape through the air. "It's my pleasure to introduce Victor, Gloria, and their Pokémon, as the Galarian Star Tournament winners!"

The crowd starts to loudly cheer, as Victor and Gloria watch, then smile at each other.

"Through tough opponents after tough opponents, Victor and Gloria, as well as their Pokémon, grew stronger and managed to win. Meaning it's time for Victor to continue on the Gym Challenge. But are our heroes prepared for what comes next?"
