"Our heroes had set out on Route 8, toward Circhester, when they came across a herd of Falinks who refused to let them pass unless they defeated their leader. Pikachu succeed thanks to Victor's stratagem, but beforehand Raboot was injured protecting Toxel, which seemed to have an effect on the young Pokémon."
"All Growing Up"
Victor holds an arm to the side, before clenching his fist, "Alright, Raboot, Pikachu, ready to go?!"
"Pika Pi!" Pikachu bumps its arms.
"Ra-boot!" Raboot nods its head.
"Okay, Drizzile, Sirfetch'd, we are only helping Victor and the others with their training, but let's give it our all, too," Gloria says, with a hand on her hip.
"Sir, Fetch!" Sirfetch'd stands straight, holding up its leek.
"Drizz…" Drizzile watches Sirfetch'd, with a sweatdrop.
Off to the side, Corviknight, Silicobra, Toxel, Impidimp, Orbeetle are watching.
"Let's start off with speed, Pikahcu, Quick Attack! Raboot, Flame Charge!" Victor raises an arm.
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu runs ahead at a breakneck pace.
"Sirfetch'd, block with Iron Defense!" Gloria calls out. "Drizzile, prepare a Water Pulse!"
"Sir, Fetch!" Sirfetch'd steps out, holding out its leaf shield, as it turns silver, with Pikachu slams against it.
"Ra-boot!" Raboot starts to run ahead, as it slowly becomes surrounded by flames.
"Drizz!" Drizzile waves its hands together, forming water.
"Ra-boot…!" suddenly, Raboot trips and falls down, as the flames dissipate.
"Drizz?!" Drizzile responds, as the water dissipates.
"Pika?" Pikachu turns away from Sirfetch'd.
"Toxe…" Toxel watches as Raboot pushes itself up.
"I wonder…" Victor starts, before holding a hand to his chin. "Is it possible that Raboot hadn't fully recovered from Falinks' attack?"
"Toxe!" Toxel realizes, as it remembers Raboot pushing it to the side, before Falinks slams against it. "Toxe…"
"Impi…" Impidimp watches Toxel, before looking ahead at Victor talking with Pikachu and Raboot.
Impidimp then looks to see Toxel is missing, before quickly looks around, then turns to see Toxel going through some bushes. Impidimp follows to find Toxel approaching a wild Togedemaru.
"Toxe! Toxe!" Toxel says to Togedemaru.
"Impi?!" Impidimp responds, before quickly standing in between Toxel and Togedemaru, holding out its arms. "Impi! Impi!"
"Toge! Maru!" Togedemaru calls out, as it becomes surrounded by electricity, before it shoots ahead and slams against Impidimp, knocking it down.
"Impi…" Impidimp lies on the ground, with small static electricities coming off it.
Toxel turns and looks back through the brushes to see Drizzile slams its hands down on Raboot, "Ra-boot!"
"Toxe…" Toxel says, before it's expression gets serious. "Toxe!"
Later, Toxel is walking around a tree, when it notices Sirfetch'd is training by keeping on striking down with its leek.
"Sir, Fetch! Sir, Fetch! Sir, Fetch!"
"Toxe…" Toxel says, before noticing a stick on the ground, then picks it up and starts to imitate Sirfetch'd by striking with the stick. "Toxe…! Toxe…!" Toxel strikes again with the stick, but accidentally throws the stick forward.
The stick flies through the air, before tabbing onto the head of a wild Hippowdon, "Pow… Powdon!"
Hippowdon charges ahead at Toxel.
At that moment, Impidimp walks around the tree, when it sees the Hippowdon approaching, "Impi?!"
Impidimp then quickly picks up Toxel, when suddenly Hippowdon slams into Impidimp, knocking it down, as Toxel lands on the ground.
"Impi…" Impidimp is lying on the ground.
Later, Toxel is walking when it sees Raboot talking with Silicobra.
"Ra-boot, Ra-boot," Raboot says, as it thinks about Bea.
"Sili, Sili," Silicobra nods its head.
"Ra-boot, Ra-boot, Ra-boot," Raboot holds its hands up to above its head, as it thinks about it, as Scorbunny, carrying a bucket of water on its head. "Ra-boot!"
"Toxe…" Toxel says, before holding a hand to its chin. "Toxe…"
"Impi…" Impidimp walks forward, before it gets surprised. "Impi?!"
Impidimp watches as Toxel is carrying a bucket of water on its head, "Toxe… Toxe…" Toxel is having trouble balancing with the bucket. "Toxe…"
"Impi…?" Impidimp continues to watch, while sweating.
"Toxe…" Toxel tries to take another step, when it loses its balance and tips over the bucket, which lands on Impidimp's head, dumping the water over it. "Toxe?"
"Impi…" Impidimp says, with the overturn bucket on top of its head.
Impidimp, exhausted, walks over to Gloria, Drizzile, Sirfetch'd, Orbeetle, Corviknight, Silicobra, and Toxel.
"Sir, fetch?" Sirfetch'd notices Impidimp.
"You okay, Impidimp?" Gloria asks.
"Impi…" Impidimp sighs.
"Let's go, Pikachu, Quick Attack! Raboot, Double Kick!" Victor calls out.
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu starts to run at Raboot, at a breakneck pace.
"Ra-boot…" Raboot watches as Pikachu gets closer, before jumping up. "Ra-boot!" Raboot kicks Pikachu, spins around and then kicks Pikachu, knocking it back.
"Pika!"
"Alright, Raboot, you seem to be doing better," Victor pumps his arms.
"Pika Pi!" Pikachu seats up, with a smile.
"Toxe…" Toxel says to itself, with Impidimp looking over to it.
"Ra-boot, Ra-boot," Raboot stretches its legs, before starting to jog in place. "Ra-boot!"
Gloria smiles, "Just make sure you don't push yourself too much."
Victor walks to Raboot and knees next to it, "She's right, Raboot. But you do seem to be improving."
"Ra-boot!" Raboot nods its head with a smile.
"Toxe…" Toxel looks down slightly, as it thinks about Raboot pushing it out of the way.
Toxel then starts to walk over to the side, past some tall trees.
"Toxe, Toxe," Toxel says to itself, before it tries to practice some kicks, before it starts to lose its balance, spins around on one foot, then falls and slides down a steep hill, through some thick brushes. "Toxe!"
Meanwhile, Victor stands up, "Anyway, I think that's enough training for now."
"We should be going anyway," Gloria says, with Victor turning to her.
"Right," Victor nods his head, before turning to the Pokémon. "Everyone ready to go?"
All the Pokémon call out, except for Impidimp, who just looks around.
"Impi? Impi?"
"Impidimp, is something wrong?" Gloria walks over to her Pokémon.
"Sir, Fetch…" Sirfetch'd looks at Impidimp.
"Impi…" Impidimp rubs the back of its head, sweating.
"Wait, where's Toxel?" Victor looks at all the Pokémon.
"It couldn't have gone far," Gloria looks around.
"Toxel! Toxel!" Victor calls out.
"Victor, let's split up and look for it," Gloria suggests.
"Right," Victor nods his head.
All the Pokémon call out, before they, Victor, and Gloria all start running in different directions.
Toxel pushes itself off the ground, "Toxe." It brushes some sticks off its head, before starting to look around, "Toxe, Toxe… Toxe?"
Approaching Toxel is a Drapion, "Drap, Drap!"
"Toxe?" Toxel looks up at the Pokémon.
"Drap!"
At that moment, Victor and Raboot are pushing through some brushes.
"Toxel?!" Victor calls out.
"Ra-boot?!"
"Drap! Drap!" The Drapion shouts loudly.
"Great, another Drapion," Victor says. "Raboot."
"Ra-boot!" Raboot takes a couple steps forward.
"Toxe…" Toxel says, thinking about Raboot falling down earlier. "Toxe!" Toxel immediately steps in front of Raboot, holding up its hands and shakes its head. "Toxe! Toxe!"
"Ra-boot?" Raboot tilts its head slightly.
Toxel turns away, with a determined expression, "Toxe!"
"What's going on with Toxel?" Victor wonders.
"Ra-boot!" Robot pushes Toxel to the side.
In midair, Toxel watches as Raboot is slammed by Falinks' glowing horn.
Raboot slams hard against the cliff hard, "Ra-boot!"
Toxel falls onto the ground and looks up to see Raboot falling onto the ground, "Toxe!"
Toxel runs over to Raboot, alongside Victor, Gloria, and their Pokémon.
Victor, on his knees, helps Raboot up, "Raboot, are you okay?"
"Ra-boot," Raboot says, with a small smile.
"Toxe…" Toxel says, saddened.
"That it…" Victor realizes. "Toxel was concerned when you got hurt, Raboot. It's trying to protect you."
"Ra-boot?" Raboot looks up at Victor, before back ahead, then walks over to Toxel. "Ra-boot, Ra-boot."
"Toxe, Toxe!" Toxel waves a hand at Raboot, trying to keep it back.
"Toxel, this isn't necessary," Victor says. "Raboot helped you because it likes you, that just what friends do."
"Toxe…" Toxel turns to its Trainer, before looking to Raboot.
"Ra-boot," Raboot nods its head, with a smile.
"Drap!"
Raboot and Toxel look to the side.
"Drap!" Drapion's claw glows with dark energy, before striking with it.
"Ra-boot!"
"Toxe!"
Raboot and Toxel jump out of the way, as Drapion's glowing claw hits the ground, missing them.
Raboot lands and then looks ahead with a small sweat, "Ra-boot…"
"Toxe."
Raboot notices Toxel standing several feet in front of it, with one arm to the side.
"Ra-boot?"
"Toxel…?" Victor says, before smiling. "It's like you, Raboot. Helping your friends is something you do. Right, Raboot?"
"Ra-boot?" Raboot looks at Victor, before looking ahead, and then smiles and shrugs its shoulders. "Ra-boot."
"Okay, Toxel," Victor says, with his Pokémon looking over to him. "Let's do this!"
"Toxe," Toxel looks back ahead at Drapion. "Toxe!"
"Drap!" Drapion lunges forward, as large purple fangs appear in front of its mouth.
"Toxel, dodge and use Acid!" Victor calls out.
"Toxe!" Toxel barely jumps out of the way of Drapion snapping fangs, before splitting large globs of acid out of its mouth. "Toxe!"
"Drap!" Drapion swings a claw, breaking apart the glob of acid, before holding out its tail, which shoots three spikes from it. "Drap!"
"Toxel, counter with Nuzzle!" Victor instructs.
"Toxe!" Toxel rubs its cheeks with its hands, as a blast of electricity comes out of its body, with it blasts away two of the flying spikes, before the third barely hits it in its arm. "Toxe!"
"Ra-boot!"
"Toxe, Toxe…" Toxel pushes itself back onto its feet. "Toxe!"
"Drap!" Drapion holds out its tail, which shoots out five spikes from it.
"Toxel, get away!" Victor holds out an arm. "Hurry!"
"Toxe!" Toxel is knocked back by the spikes, before landing hard on the ground, with the five spikes sticking out of the ground around it.
"Drap!" Drapion then charges Toxel, as it gets up, with its claw glowing with dark energy.
"Toxe?!" Toxel realizes it is surrounded by spikes.
"Drap!" Drapion starts to bring down its claw.
"Toxel!" Victor calls out.
"Ra-boot!"
"Toxe…" Toxel closes its eyes and clenches its hands, before looking ahead. "Toxe!"
"Drap!"
Toxel's body starts to glow, as it clutches Drapion's claw, and then starts to grow taller, with its limbs longer. Blue electricity shoots out of the top of its head, before it stops glowing.
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity pushes Drapion's claw, forcing Drapion back. Toxtricity than strums its chest. "Toxt Icit! Toxt Icit!"
"Ra-boot?!"
"Toxel, you evolved?!" Victor calls out.
Victor's Rotom Phone flies up, "Toxtricity Low Key Form, the Punk Pokémon, It has an electrical organ on its chest. While generating electricity, it fills its surroundings with what sounds like the strumming of a bass guitar."
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity continues to strum its chest.
"Drap!" Drapion calls out, as its claw glows with dark energy and then charges.
"Toxe-Toxtricity, watch out!" Victor calls out.
"Drap! Drap!" Drapion swings its claw back and forth.
"Toxt Icit! Toxt Icit! Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity steps back and jumps back, repeatedly dodging each of Drapion's claw strike, as Toxtricity strums its chest and generates electricity on its chest.
Nearby, Gloria and the other Pokémon are on a top hill, with Gloria looking around.
"First Toxel, and now Victor and Raboot disappeared," Gloria says.
Corviknight flies around, when it notices generating electricity behind some brushes, "Knigh?" It then looks down and starts to flap its wings quickly. "Knigh! Knigh!"
Gloria looks up, before turning around to see the electricity behind the brushes in the distance, "What in the…?"
"Drap!" Drapion holds out its tail, firing five spikes from it.
"Toxt Icit! Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity, while strumming its chest, flips back to dodge a spike, spins around to dodge two more, then leans back to dodge the final two. "Toxt Icit!"
"Alright, Toxtricity!" Victor raises an arm. "You're doing great!."
"Ra-boot! Ra-boot!" Raboot cheering.
At that moment, Gloria and the other Pokémon are coming through the brush.
"Victor?" Gloria says, upon seeing her friend. "What's going on?"
"Hum, well, we found Toxel," Victor looks over to her.
"Toxel?" Gloria asks, when she notices Toxtricity strumming its chest. "Wait, Toxel evolved?!"
"Impi?!" Impidimp calls out.
"Alright, let's wrap this up, Toxtricity!" Victor starts. "Get around it!"
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity strums its chest, before starting to run around Drapion.
"Drap!" Drapion calls out, before spins around to face Toxtricity. "Drap!" Large purple fangs appear in front of its mouth. "Drap!"
"Toxtricity, use your new move!" Victor calls out, before punching a fist ahead. "Spark!"
"Toxt!" Toxtricity strums its chest, with its body surrounded with electricity. "Icit!"
A blast of electricity is launched from Toxtricity's body, blasting Drapion, as the purple fangs fade.
"Drap!" Drapion spins around and runs away, disappearing in some tall grass.
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity strums its chest a couple times. "Toxt Icit!"
"Alright, Toxtricity!" Victor says, as everyone walks over to Toxtricity.
"Yeah, and congratulations on evolving," Gloria adds.
"Sir Fetch."
"Knigh."
"Ra-boot."
"Toxt Icit! Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity happily strums its chest.
"Impi…" Impidimp walks over to Toxtricity, before patting it on its back. "Impi."
Toxtricity strums its chest, accidentally electrucing Impidimp, "Impi!"
Impidimp falls down, with a puff of smoke coming out of its mouth.
"Sorry about that, Impidimp," Victor rubs the top of his head.
"You know, this kinda reminds me of something my mom once called the rebellious teen years," Gloria says, with a hand on her chin.
Everyone starts laughing, as Toxtricity is strumming its chest.
"Toxel's desire to grow up and be able to protect its friends led to it unlocking a new power and evolving into Toxtricity. Now, our heroes are ready to continue onward, but what could be next for them as they make their way to Circhester?"
