"Victor and Gloria had arrived at Circhester, only to pay witness to an argument between Gym Leaders of the past and present, before Gordie showed his skill in defeating Melony. Now Victor must take on his challenge himself."
"From the Bottom to the Top"
At the Circhester Stadium, Dan is standing in the center of the arena and holds out a hand, "Another Gym Mission will begin!"
In the stands, Gloria, Drizzile, Orbeetle, Sirfetch'd, and Impidimp are seated next to Melony, with the Pokémon cheering.
"This is so exciting," Melony happily says. "I hadn't seen a Gym Challenge for so long."
Gloria smiles at Melony, before looking ahead, "Although, I'm more worried about the actual Gym Battle. Considering Gordie's battle against Melony, how Victor is gonna fare against someone so powerful…"
"The Gym Challenger is Victor…" Dan continues.
Victor is standing at the start of a large area of boulders and rock formations, holding a pair of dowsing rods.
"Victor must use the Trap Detectors given to him to guide his way through this maze and avoid all pitfall traps," Dan's voice continues from loudspeakers.
"P-Pitfall traps?" Victor responds.
"If he manages to get through the maze, then he would be able to challenge the Gym Leader Gordie," Dan continues from the loudspeakers. "Now, the Gym Mission begins!"
Victor sighs, "I can do this…" He then starts to walk through the maze. "Although, I don't know how this could help me to avoid any pitfall traps."
Then Victor stops as he watches the tips of the Trap Detectors glow and move slightly to the sides. Victor turns to the right, with the Trap Detectors returning to normal.
"Okay…" Victor says to himself, before walking to the right.
Victor continues walking for a bit, when the tips of the Trap Detectors glow and they split. Victor then turns back to the left and continues forward.
Gloria looks ahead, "This Gym Mission is so different compared to the previous ones."
Melony smiles, "I'm really glad that Gordie kept the Gym Mission from my days."
"It's the same?" Gloria asks, looking at Melony.
"Mmhm," Melony nods her head. "This Gym Mission was designed to test Gym Challengers' patience and ability to stay focused."
"Patience… and ability to stay focused," Gloria says.
Victor is continuing the maze, watching the Trap Detectors and turning when he needs to.
"Gordie seemed so powerful yesterday…" Victor thinks about Gordie and Melony's battle, as he continues through the maze. "So what Pokémon should I use? Gordie might use Barbaracle, a Rock/Water-type, so perhaps Toxtricity could be a good choice with its Poison and Electric attacks. But what if the rest of his team are pure Rock-types, then Toxtricity could be in trouble…"
Victor turns to the right, before turning left, "Corviknight could help, but it's Flying-type makes it a bad match against Rock-types… Then there's Silicobra, though it doesn't have much Gym Battle experience. And Raboot and Pikachu would be just bad matches…"
Victor continues to walk ahead, as the tips of the Trap Detectors glow and split apart, when he takes a step forward and suddenly stops, just as the ground in front of him collapses.
Victor nearly stumbles back, with a sweatdrop, "Th-That… was too close…"
Gloria sighs, as Orbeetle floats next to her with a sweatdrop.
"Oh dear, he almost missed that one," Melony says, with a hand to her cheek.
"Victor's probably thinking about the Gym Battle with Gordie," Gloria looks ahead. "Although he needs to get to him first."
Wendy is standing on a rock platform, watching Victor as he watches ahead.
"Okay, he has passed the final checkpoint," Wendy says, before she throws a Poké Ball. "Sudowoodo, use Sandstorm!"
The Poké Ball opens and shoots out red energy, which forms a Sudowoodo, "Sudo!" Sudowoodo then waves its arms back and forth, "Sudo! Woodo! Sudo! Woodo!"
A sandstorm starts to shoot past Sudowoodo, before covering the entire area.
Victor tries to shield his face with one arm, "I can barely see now."
"Oh! I see Gordie had added a new addition to the Gym Mission with Sandstorm," Melony says, before smiling. "I wish I had thought of using Hail for my Gym Missions."
Gloria looks over to Melony, as she whispers, "I'm glad you aren't the Gym Leader anymore."
Victor is walking through the sandstorm filled area, as he is having trouble seeing the Trap Detectors.
"I have to be near the exit by now…" Victor says, as he continues forward.
Suddenly, through the sandstorm, Victor notices the Trap Detectors are splitting to the sides. Then a pitfall opens beneath Victor's feet.
"Victor!" Gloria calls out, as her Pokémon are looking ahead, shocked.
Wendy, wearing a pair of Safety Goggles, jumps to another rock platform and looks down, through the sandstorm, seeing Victor had caught himself on the edge of the pitfall, before he pulls himself up and back onto the ground.
Victor catches his breath, before looking at the Trap Detectors in his hands, then stands up and continues ahead.
A few more moments passed, as Victor turned back and forth, barely avoiding a couple pitfalls, before reaching a concrete floor.
At that moment, the sandstorm ceases, with Victor then turning back to the area.
"Victor had passed the Gym Mission!" Dan announces from loudspeakers.
Gloria breathes a sigh of relief, "Thanks goodness, Victor made it through it."
"Sir, Fetch," Sirfetch'd says to its Trainer, as Gloria looks at it.
"Right," Gloria says, before looking ahead. "He still has to battle Gordie."
At the Hero's Bath, Sordward and Shielbert are relaxing in the hot springs.
"This is so nice after that hollowing snowstorm, Shielbert," Sordward says.
"It is very much so, Sordward," Shielbert. "But did we come here for a reason?"
"At the moment, I can't for the life of me think of it," Sordward says, as he sinks a little deeper into the hot springs.
"I'm sure it will come to us," Shielbert says, sinking a little bit deeper into the hot springs.
Victor and Gordie walk onto the arena.
"Now the Gym Battle between Gym Challenger Victor and Gym Leader Goride will commence!" Dan announces. "Send out your first Pokémon!"
"Go, Barbaracle!" Gordie throws a Poké Ball.
"Barba!"
Victor holds up a Poké Ball, before taking a deep breath, and then throws it, "Go, Toxtricity!"
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity drums its stomach.
"Okay, Toxtricity, move around Barbaracle, stay on the move," Victor instructs.
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity starts running, moving around Barbaracle, as it watches it.
"Toxtricity, Spark, now!" Victor calls out.
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity drums its stomach, shooting a blast of electricity from it and hitting Barbaracle.
"Barba!" Barbaracle shoves along an arm.
"Didn't do much damage, but if we could keep on the pressure…" Victor says.
"Barbaracle, Shell Smash!" Gordie holds out an arm. "Then follow it up with Rock Tomb!"
"Barba!" energy breaks off from Barbaracle, before it raises its arms with large boulders flying past it. "Barba!"
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity runs around, dodging two boulders, before it gets smashed with three boulders. "Toxt!"
"Toxtricity, quick, counter with Acid!" Victor instructs.
"Toxt!" Toxtricity flips back, drums its stomach, before shooting a glob of acid from its mouth. "Icit!"
"Barba!" Barbaracle jumps to the side, dodging the acid, then jumps ahead.
"Barbaracle, Razor Shell!" Gordie calls out.
"Barba!" Barbaracle hits Toxtricity with its sharp glowing hand.
"Razor Shell is a Water-type move, so the effect is minimal, but they could still rank up the damage, if we don't do something…" Victor thinks. "Unless…"
"Barba!" Barbaracle jumps off the flying stone, as glowing razor sharp energy forms around its hand.
"That might work," Victor realizes, before holding out an arm. "Toxtricity, jump onto a Rock Tomb stone!"
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity jumps onto a large stone sticking out of the ground, then strums its chest.
"What could he be thinking?" Gordie wonders, before holding out a hand. "Barbaracle, use Rock Tomb again.
"Barba!" Barbaracle holds out its arms, with large boulders fly past it.
"Toxtricity, attack the stones with Spark!" Victor calls out.
"Toxt!" Toxtricity strums its chest, then jumps off the boulder. "Icit!"
Toxtricity shoots a blast of electricity, knocking back one of the stones, sending it flying toward Barbaracle.
"Counter with Razor Shell!" Gordie instructs.
"Barba!" Barbarcle's hand glows with razor sharp energy, before swiping at the boulder, knocking it to the side as it breaks apart.
At the same time, Toxtricity jumps toward Barbaracle.
"Toxtricity, Acid!" Victor calls out.
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity strums its chest and shoots a glob of acid from its mouth.
"Barba!" Barbaracle crosses its arms, as the glob of acid hits it and splashes upon contact.
"Barbaracle, get away and use Shell Smash!" Gordie instructs.
"Barba!" Barbarcle jumps back, before energy breaks away from it. "Barba!"
"Toxtricity, close range Spark!" Victor instructs.
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity strums its chest as it jumps after Barbaracle and gets close to it. "Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity continues to strum its stomach, as it shoots a blast of electricity at Barbaracle, knocking it back.
"Barba!"
"Quick, follow it up with Acid!" Victor calls out.
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity gives one more final strum, before firing a glob of acid from its mouth, blasting Barbaracle and sending it flying into the ground.
"Barba…" Barbaracle lies on the ground, with its eyes whirling.
"Barbaracle is unable to battle!" Gordie announces.
"Not too bad," Gordie says, as Barbaracle turns into red energy and flies back into his Poké Ball, before he holds out another Poké Ball. "But it's only gonna get harder, here out." Gordie throws the new Poké Ball. "Go Stonjourner!"
"Ston, Jour," Stonjourner says, as it appears from red energy.
"A Stonjourner, huh," Victor says, before he notices Toxtricity.
"Toxt… Icit…" Toxtricity breathes heavily, before strums his stomach once.
"Toxtricity seemed to have damaged itself from the close range Spark," Victor realizes, before he breathes deeply, then holds out a Poké Ball. "Okay, Toxtricity, you did well, return for the moment."
"Toxt…" Toxtricity turns into red energy and flies back into Victor's Poké Ball.
"It's a good strategy to recall a Pokémon," Melony comments. "Although it does carry with it some risks."
"Risks?" Gloria looks at Melony, before looking back ahead.
Victor throws a Poké Ball, "Go, Corviknight!"
"Knigh!"
"We should be fine, if we stay out of reach of Stonjourner's attack and counter with Steel Wing," Victor thinks.
"Stonjourner, start off with Stealth Rock!" Gordie holds out a hand.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner throws down its arms, with small rocks flying past it, before starting to levitate around the arena.
"Nothing is happening," Gloria crosses her arms, as she tilts her head.
"But something did happened, dear," Melony says, with Gloria, Impidimp, and Orbeetle look to her. "Stealth Rock creates a trap of rocks that damage any Pokémon that enter the battle." She then smiles. "It seems Gordie is thinking ahead."
"Okay, Corviknight, use Steel Wing!" Victor holds out an arm.
"Knigh!" Corviknight flies ahead, as its wing glows silver.
"Stonjourner, counter with Rock Tomb!" Gordie instructs.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner calls out, as large boulders fly past it.
"Knigh! Knigh!" Corviknight flies left to right, barely dodging the stones as they slam into the ground.
"Now, Body Slam!" Gordie calls out.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner jumps up and slams its body down on Corviknight.
"Knigh!"
"Corviknight!" Victor calls out.
"Knigh… Knigh!" Corviknight gets back up, before swipes with its silver glowing wing.
"Ston, jour!" Stonjourner jumps back, dodging the attack.
"Stonjourner, attack with Rock Tomb again!" Gordie instructs.
"Corviknight, fly straight up!" Victor instructs.
"Ston, jour!" Stonjourner calls out, as large boulders fly past it.
"Knigh!" Corviknight flies straight up, as the stones slam into the ground.
"Now, divebomb straight at Stonjourner and use Steel Wing!" Victor calls out.
"Knigh!" Corviknight flaps its wings, before starting to fly down.
"Stonjourner, get to Corviknight and use Body Slam!" Gordie calls out.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner jumps onto a stone and then jumps off it.
"I don't believe how mobility Stonjourner is," Gloria realizes from the stands.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner slams its body against Corviknight.
"Knigh!"
Stonjourner and Corviknight both fall back onto the ground.
"At least Body Slam also injured Stonjourner, we could still…" Victor starts to hold out an arm.
"Stonjourner, use Rock Tomb again!" Gordie calls out.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner calls out, as large boulders fly past it.
The stones slam onto the ground around Corviknight, barely giving it room to move, "Knigh?!"
"Now, Body Slam!" Gordie holds out an arm.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner jumps up.
"Knigh…!" Corviknight looks up as a large shadow comes down toward it.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner slams its body against Corviknight.
"Knigh!"
Stonjourner backs away as Corviknight lies on the ground, with its eyes whirling, "Knigh…"
"Corviknight is unable to battle!" Dan announces.
Victor holds out a Poké Ball, as a red beam flies into it, "Good job, Corviknight." He then throws another Poké Ball, "Go, Silicobra!"
"Sili!" Silicobra appears from red energy, before the levitating rock around it explodes. "Sili!"
Silicobra lowers its head, as it sweats.
"Silicobra, it's okay, just focus on your opponent," Victor says.
"Sili…" Silicobra slowly raises its head, and sees Stonjourner across the arena. "Sili…"
Melony smiles, "Victor really seems to be good at getting his Pokémon to focus."
"Okay, Silicobra?" Victor asks.
"Sili," Silicobra looks at its Trainer and nods its head. "Sili."
"Great, then let's start with Dig," Victor waves a hand through the air.
"Sili!" Silicobra calls out, before it jumps and digs into the ground.
"Not so fast," Gordie says. "Stonjourner, slams the ground with Rock Tomb!"
"What?!" Victor calls out.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner calls out, as large boulders fly past it.
The large boulders slam onto the ground, sending vibrations throughout the ground, before Silicobra is forced out of the ground.
"Sili!"
"They used Rock Tomb to damage Silicobra and forces it out of the ground?!" Victor realizes.
"Now, Body Slam!" Gordie holds out a hand.
"Ston, Jour!"
Stonjourner jumps ahead, slamming its body against Silicobra and sends it flying against the Max Barrier.
"Sili!"
"What can we do…?" Victor wonders, before noticing the stones levitating around the arena. "Wait, that might work!" Victor looks ahead, "Silicobra, use Brutal Swing against the floating stones!"
"Sili!" Silicobra swings its tail back and forth, knocking aside the nearby floating stones, sending them flying at Stonjourner.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner calls out, as the flying stones explode upon contact with it.
"You're using Stealth Rock to damage Stonjourner?!" Gordie realizes.
"Now, Bulldoze!" Victor calls out.
"Sili!" Silicobra swings up its tail, before slamming it down on the ground, shaking the ground.
"Ston, Jour!" Stonjourner is having trouble keeping its footing.
"Stonjourner, quick, use Body Slam!" Gordie instructs.
"Silicobra, counter with Headbutt!" Victor instructs.
"Sili!" Silicobra jumps ahead and slams its head against Stonjourner, knocking it back.
"Ston… Jour…" Stonjourner lies on the ground, with its eyes whirling.
"Stonjourner is unable to battle!" Dan announces.
"Sili… Sili…" Silicobra tries to catch its breath.
"Alright!" Gloria raises an arm, as her Pokémon cheer.
"Try to remember, dears, Gordie still has one more Pokémon," Melony holds up a finger.
Gloria and her Pokémon look over to Melony, then look back ahead.
Gordie throws a Poké Ball, "Go, Coalossal!"
"Coa! Lossal!"
"His final Pokémon is Coalossal," Victor realizes.
"Coalossal, use Stealth Rock!" Gordie holds out a hand.
"Coa! Lossal!" Coalossal calls out, as small stones fly past it and start levitating around the arena.
"Silicobra, we shouldn't waste any time," Victor holds out an arm. "Bulldoze!"
"Sili!" Silicobra starts to raise its tail.
"Coalossal, attack with Tar Shot!" Gordie calls out.
"Coa! Lossal!" Coalossal shoots a large blast of tar from its mouth, splashing on Silicobra.
"Sili…?" Silicobra says, with the tar sliding down its head.
"What's that?" Victor wonders, when his Rotom Phone flies up, then he grabs it and looks at it. "Tar Shot lowers the opponent's Speed and makes them weak to Fire-type attacks." He then looks ahead. "Uh-oh."
"Coalossal, now use Heat Crash!" Gordie instructs.
"Coa!" Coalossal's body becomes covered in flames, before charges ahead and slams against Silicobra. "Lossal!"
"Sili!"
"Silicobra, knock it away with Brutal Swing!" Victor calls out.
"Sili!" Silicobra swings its tail, knocking Coalossal back.
"Coa, Lossal," Coalossal says, as it lands on the ground.
"I gotta say, your Silicobra seems tough," Gordie crosses his arms. "It might get even tougher if it ever evolve."
"Sili?" Silicobra raises its head.
"So because of that, we'll go all out," Gordie says, as he holds out a Poké Ball.
Coalossal turns into red energy and flies into Gordie's Poké Ball, before a large glowing red Poké Ball appears around it, "Go, Coalossal!" He turns around and throws the large Poké Ball. "Gigantamax!"
The Poké Ball opens, shoots out a massive red energy, which grows, as Coalossal gets larger and larger, with its top portion glowing bright red, before it stops growing and glowing, "Coa! Lossal!"
"Sili…" Silicobra looks up at the Gigantamaxed Coalossal.
"We can do this, Silicobra," Victor says to his Pokémon.
"Sili," Silicobra looks at its Trainer and nods its head. "Sili."
Victor holds out a Poké Ball, with Silicobra turns into red energy and flies into it, before he holds it out, with a large red glowing Poké Ball appearing around it, "Go, Silicobra!" He turns around and throws the Poké Ball. "Dynamax!"
The large Poké Ball opens and shoots out red energy, which grows until it stops glowing, "Sili!"
"Coalossal, let's start off strong with G-Max Volcalith!" Gordie instructs.
"Coa! Lossal!" Coalossal calls out, as a giant stone slab rises up in front of it and falls forward.
"Silicobra, watch out!" Victor calls out.
"Sili!" Silicobra jumps back, as the stone slab slams onto the ground.
The stone slab then explodes into several giant stones, which spread through the arena.
"Sili! Sili!" Silicobra tries to move around the arena, but it keeps on bashing against the giant stones.
"Now, Max Flare!" Gordie calls out.
"Coa!" Coalossal starts to fire a massive blast of flames from its mouth. "Lossal!"
"Sili!" Silicobra is blasted by the flames and is knocked against another giant stone.
"Silicobra!" Victor calls out. "It must still be under the effect of Tar Shot." Victor holds out an arm. "Silicobra, counter with Max Quake!"
"Sili!" Silicobra calls out, as it slams it tail on the ground, with the ground beneath Coalossal starts to collapse before an explosion rises up.
"Coa!"
"Must be an attempt to increase Silicobra's Special Defense, but it's too late for that," Gordie says, before holding out a hand. "Coalossal, Max Flare!"
"Lossal!" Coalossal shoots a blast of flames from its mouth.
"Sili!" Silicobra dodges the blast of flames, but bashes against one of the giant stones. "Sili!"
"Coa! Lossal!" Coalossal fires another blast of flames from its mouth.
"Sili!" Silicobra is blasted by the flames.
"We're running out of options… Our best chance might be a direct hit," Victor realizes, before waving an arm to the side. "Silicobra, get in close and use Max Quake!"
"Coalossal, Max Flare!" Gordie calls out.
"Coa! Lossal!" Coalossal fires a massive blast of flames from its mouth.
"Sili! Sili!" Silicobra slithers around the giant stones and blast of flames, before wrapping it around Coalossal. "Sili!"
"Coa?!"
"Sili!" Silicobra calls out, before slamming its tail down onto the ground, with the ground beneath them explodes.
"Lossal!"
"Coalossal, free yourself with G-Max Volcalith!" Gordie instructs.
"Coa!" Coalossal calls out, as a giant stone slab rises up from the ground, before falling forward. "Lossal!"
The stone slab slams on the ground and breaks apart into giant stones, some of them slam against Silicobra, forcing it off Coalossal, "Sili!"
"Now, Max Flare!" Gordie calls out.
"Coa!" Coalossal spins around and fires a massive blast of flames. "Lossal!"
"Sili!" Silicobra is blasted by the blast of flames and knocked far back.
As the blast of flames dissipates, Silicobra shrinks back to normal size and falls down, with its eyes whirling, "Sili…"
"Silicobra is unable to battle!" Dan announces.
"Now they are down to one Pokémon each," Gloria says.
"True, but Toxtricity had taken a lot of damage," Melony says. "And due to the way the energy for Dynamax operates, a Trainer could only Dynamax a Pokémon once per battle. So Victor can't Dynamaxes it, which will leave him at a disadvantage."
"Yeah, but Gordie beat you without Dynamaxing," Gloria reminds.
Melony looks to Gloria and smiles, "To defeat my son, Victor must prove himself to be as strong as him, if not more so."
"Go, Toxtricity!" Victor throws a Poké Ball.
Appearing from red energy is Toxtricity, who is catching its breath, "Toxt… Icit…" Suddenly small, floating stones explode next to it, "Toxt!"
"Toxtricity, hold on," Victor says to his Pokémon.
"Toxt… Icit…" Toxtricity tries to catch its breath.
Gordie holds out a hand, "Look like this is already over. Coalossal, Max Flare!"
"Coa! Lossal!" Coalossal fires a massive blast of flames from its mouth.
"Toxt!" Toxtricity hurries to behind a giant stone sticking out of the ground, which blocks the blast of flames, before the stone starts to crack. "Icit?!"
"That attack will finish Toxtricity!" Victor watches as the stone Toxtricity is behind continues to crack and break apart. "Wait… that could work…" Victor takes a step forward. "Toxtricity, climb to the top of the stone!"
"Toxt?" Toxtricity looks to its Trainer, before nodding its head. "Icit!"
Toxtricity strums its chest, then starts to climb up the giant stone, as it slowly breaks apart from the blast of flames.
"What are you up to?" Gordie whispers.
"Toxt!" Toxtricity reaches the top of the stone and jumps off it, as the stone shatters from the blast of flames.
"Coalossal, get it with Max Flare!" Gordie instructs.
"Toxtricity, dodge and use Acid!" Victor instructs.
"Coa! Lossal!" Coalossal shoots a massive blast of flames from its mouth.
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity strums its chest, as it jumps from giant stone to giant stone, while shooting globs of acid from its mouth, hitting Coalossal, as it fires a blast of flames.
"G-Max Volcalith will just give Toxtricty more stepping stones," Gordie realizes. "Coalossal, keep on using Max Flare!"
"Coa! Lossal!" Coalossal fires a massive blast of flames from its mouth.
"Keep it up, Toxtricity!" Victor bumps a fist.
"Toxt! Icit!" Toxtricity continues to jump from giant stone to giant stone, hitting Coalossal with globs of acid and dodging the blast of flames.
"Coa! Lossal!" Coalossal turns slightly and fires another massive blast of flames, before Toxtricity jumps off a giant stone, which is obliterated by the blast of flames.
Coalossal lowers its arms and looks around, "Coa…?"
"What?" Gordie turns and looks around. "Where Toxtricity went to. There is no place left for it to be… except…" He suddenly turns and looks up at his Gigantamaxed Pokémon. "No!"
"Toxt…" Toxtricity stands on top of Coalossal's head. "Icit…"
"Lossal…?"
"Now, Toxtricity, use Spark, at full power!" Victor slams a fist down.
"Toxt!" Toxtricity strums its chest a couple times, before unleashes a large blast of electricity down at Coalossal. "Icit!"
"Coa!" Coalossal calls out.
"Coalossal!" Gordie crosses his arms before himself.
Coalossal glows and starts to shrink, as Toxtricity jumps off it.
Coalossal finishes returning to normal and falls down with its eyes whirling, "Coa…"
"Coalossal is unable to battle!" Dan announces. "Gym Challenger Victor is the winner!"
"Alright!" Gloria calls out, with a fist in the air, as her Pokémon also cheer.
Melony laughs slightly, "It would seem like Gordie can still get reckless sometimes."
Gloria looks at Melony, confused.
Coalossal seats up, "Coa…"
Gordie places a hand on his Pokémon, "I'm sorry, Coalossal, I forgot Acid would reduce your Special Defense, and make you weak to Toxtricity's Spark."
"Lossal," Coalossal says, with a small smile.

Four red energies form Raboot, Corviknight, Pikachu, and Silicobra.
"Alright, guys, we won a new Gym Badge," Victor says, as Toxtricity walks over.
"Ra-boot!" Raboot says, as it and Pikachu smile.
"Knigh," Corviknight happily says.
"Sili…" Silicobra lowers its head.
"Hey, don't worry, Silicobra," Victor says to his Pokémon, who looks up at him. "Without your help, we would never be able to defeat Coalossal." He smiles. "This was a team win."
"Sili," Silicobra smiles.
"Toxt… Icit…" Toxtricity looks up at the sky, slowly strums its chest, before looks at Victor.
"Congratulations," Gordie walks over to the group. "This was a well earned win." He then holds out a Gym Badge, with a design that resembles a boulder with a crack in it. "You had earned the Rock Badge."
The Rock Badge is added to the metal ring.
Victor holds up the metal ring, "Alright! We got the Rock Badge!"
"Ra-boot!"
"Pika! Pika!"
"Knigh!"
"Sili!"
"Toxt, Icit," Toxtricity strums its chest.
In the stands, Gloria and Melony happily smile, as Gloria's Pokémon cheer.
"With hard work and determination, Victor and his Pokémon had won their sixth Gym Badge. With only two more Gym Badges left for the Galar League, what is next for our heroes?"
At the edge of Circhester, a Pokémon enters.
"Yamp! Yamp!"
"We've finally arrived at Circhester."
Yamper looks up at its Trainer, Sonia, who smiles at her Pokémon, "Hopefully, Victor and Gloria are here."
