"Victor and Gloria had made it to Hammerlocke, where Victor faced a difficult challenge in the Gym Mission. But he passed and now will face the Galar region's final Gym Leader."

Raihan throws two Poké Balls, "Go, Gigalith! Flygon!"
"Giga!"
"Fl-gon!"
"I hope you're ready for this," Raihan places a hand on his hip.
"I'm not sure, but I will do my best," Victor says.
Raihan smiles.
Victor throws two Poké Balls, "Go, Corviknight! Cinderace!"
"Knigh!"
"Cinder Ace!"
"Fortunately, they were healed after the Gym Mission, hopefully it will be enough," Victor thinks.
"Will Victor be okay?" Gloria wonders, thinking about Corviknight and Cinderace battling Abomasnow and Hakamo-o. "The double battle in the Gym Mission was difficult and Raihan is certain to be a lot more powerful."
"Sir Fetch!"
Gloria notices Sirfetch'd is staring ahead, before smiling, "Right, I'll believe in them the same way you do."
"Begin!" Dan announces, followed immediately by a sandstorm starting through the arena.
"Where did this come from?" Victor looks around. "No one used a move."
"It's Gigalith's Ability, Sand Stream," Raihan explains. "And now, Gigalith, use Rock Blast!"
"Giga!" Gigalith calls out, as large rocks shoot out of its body.
"Quick, dodge!" Victor calls out.
"Knigh! Knigh!" Corviknight flies around, dodging each of the large rocks.
"Cinder Ace!" Cinderace runs around, barely dodging each of the rocks, but gets knocked around slightly by the sandstorm.
"Flygon, Thunder Punch!" Raihan instructs.
"Fl-gon!" Flygon flies ahead, with electricity covering its claw, before punching Cinderace, knocking it back.
"Pyro Ball!" Victor calls out.
"Cinder!" Cinderace, knocked back, spins around and kicks a pebble, launching a fireball.
"Fl-gon!" Flygon's wing gets hit by the fireball, forcing it back.
Gloria is holding up her Rotom Phone, "Okay, because Cinderace's a Fire-type, it's getting damaged by the sandstorm, while Corviknight and Flygon's Steel-types are protecting them." She looks ahead. "How is Victor gonna manage?"
"Gigalith, use Body Press!" Raihan instructs.
"Giga!" Gigalith jumps up and down toward Corviknight.
"Corviknight, Drill Peck!" Victor instructs.
"Knigh!" Corviknight starts to spin and flies away, as Gigalith drops down and lands on the ground.
"Giga!"
"Knigh!" Corviknight continues to spin and slams against Flygon.
"Fl-gon!"
"Not bad, your teamwork has improved in a very short time," Raihan says. "But you're still at a disadvantage during a sandstorm."
"We see about that," Victor starts. "Cinderace, Flame Charge!"
"Cinder Ace!" Cinderace charges ahead, while covered in flames and slams against Gigalith.
"Giga!" Gigalith says, as Cinderace bounces off.
"A Fire-type attack isn't gonna do much against a Rock-type like Gigalith, but the flames around Cinderace could provide minimal protection against the sandstorm," Raihan realizes, as he watches Cinderace running around, covered in flames. He then smiles. "But it isn't gonna work."
"Flygon, stop Cinderace with Thunder Punch!" Raihan calls out.
"Fl-gon!" Flygon flies up to Cinderace, still running while covered in flames, as its claw covers in electricity, before punches the side of Cinderace, sending it flying. "Fl-gon!"
"Cinder Ace!" Cinderace lands next to Corviknight.
"Knigh?" Corviknight looks over to Cinderace.
"Now, Breaking Swipe!" Raihan calls out.
"Fl-gon!" Flygon flies ahead, before spins around and swipes its tail, knocking both Corviknight and Cinderace back.
"Gigalith, use Sand Tomb!" Raihan instructs.
"Giga!" Gigalith calls out.
Suddenly, a large sand vortex surrounds Cinderace and Corviknight, damaging them both greatly.
"Cinder Ace!"
"Knigh!"
"Break free with Flame Charge and Drill Peck!" Victor calls out.
"Cinder Ace!" Cinderace starts to surround itself with flames, but they quickly dissipate.
"Knigh!" Corviknight starts to spin, but the sand vortex knocks it down.
"No good…" Victor says, before he quickly looks ahead. "Wait! Corviknight, use Drill Peck, but stay in one place!"
"Knigh…" Corviknight nods its head, before raising it and starts to spin around, while remaining vertical. "Knigh!"
"Now, Cinderace, use Pyro Ball, kick it at Corviknight!" Victor instructs.
"Cinder… Ace!" Cinderace stands up, before bounces a pebble off its knee and then kicks it as a fireball.
The fireball flies at Corviknight, with the fireball starting to spin around it and gets faster, spreading embers, which slowly dissipate the sand vortex.
Corviknight stops spinning and stands next to Cinderace, as they both try to catch their breaths.
"Not bad, that is some clever creativity," Raihan says, with a smile. "But your Pokémon are at their limits. And that reminds me. Gigalith, Stealth Rock!"
"Giga!" Gigalith calls out, as it spreads out sharp stones around it.
"That move," Gloria realizes. "It damages any opponent Pokémon that enters the battle.
"You might be getting ahead of yourself," Victor says.
"Impressive, but it's time to bring this to an end," Raihan says. "Gigalith, Rock Blast! Flygon, Thunder Punch!"
"Giga!" Gigalith calls out, launching large rocks from its body.
"Fl-gon!" Flygon flies ahead, with its claw covered in electricity.
"Cinderace, get on Corviknight's back," Victor instructs. "Corviknight, fly!"
"Cinder Ace!" Cinderace jumps onto Corviknight's back.
"Knigh!" Corviknight starts to fly ahead, before flying around, dodging the large rocks. "Knigh!"
"Now, Ember!" Victor calls out.
"Cinder Ace!" Cinderace starts shooting a series of small fireballs from its mouth.
"Fl-gon!" Flygon, claw covered in electricity, flies up, dodging the small fireballs.
"Drill Peck!" Victor calls out.
"Cinder Ace!" Cinderace jumps off Corviknight's back.
"Knigh!" Corviknight starts to spin around rapidly.
Flygon reaches back its electricity-covered claw, as it is above the spinning Corviknight.
"And Pyro Ball!" Victor instructs.
"Cinder Ace!" Cinderace bounces a pebble off its knee, as it spins around.
"Giga!" Gigalith launches a large rock off its body.
The rock hits Cinderace, before it kicks the pebble, launching a fireball, "Cinder Ace!"
The fireball slams against Flygon, "Fl-gon!" Flygon then delivers its electricity covered punch, swiping the spinning Corviknight. "Fl-gon!"
"…Knigh!" Corviknight manages to continue to spin ahead and slams against Gigalith
All the attacks fill the arena with smoke, which starts to clear, revealing all four Pokémon lying on the ground, with their eyes whirling.
"Cinderace, Corviknight, Gigalith, and Flygon are unable to battle!" Dan announces, to a cheering audience.
"You both were awesome, now take some rest," Victor holds out two Poké Balls, with Corviknight and Cinderace turning into red energies and flying into the Poke Balls.
Gigalith and Flygon turn into red energies and fly into two Poke Balls, which Raihan lowers, "Well done. And Victor, you have some impressive skills and your Pokemon's teamwork is not something to underestimate. However, you still have a fight ahead of you."
Victor nods his head.
Raihan throws two Poké Balls, "Go Sandaconda! Go Duraludon!"
"Sanda!"
"Dura Dura!"
Victor throws two Poké Balls, "Go, Toxtricity! Silicobra!"
"Toxt Icit!"
"Sili!"
Sharp rocks explode around Toxtricity and Silicobra.
Silicobra looks up, before noticing Sandaconda, "Sili!"
Victor's Rotom Phone flies up, "Sandaconda, the Sand Snake Pokémon, Its unique styling of coiling allows it to blast sand out of its sand sac more efficiently."
"Sili…" Silicobra says, nervously.
"So that Silicobra's evolved form," Victor realizes.
Victor's Rotom Phone turns slightly, "Duraludon, the Alloy Pokémon, The special metal that composes its body is very light, so this Pokémon has considerable agility. It lives in caves because it dislikes the rain."
"Toxt Icit," Toxtricity holds up a hand, as the sandstorm blows past it.
"Toxtricity, I'm sorry about the sandstorm, but you gonna have to power through," Victor tells his Pokémon.
"Sili…" Silicobra lowers its head, as it looks up at Toxtricity.
Toxt Icit," Toxtricity strums its chest, before holding up a thumb and smiles.
"Sili," Silicobra smiles.
"That some impressive friendship between your Pokémon," Raihan says, before holding up a hand. "But I'm gonna have to break it up now. Sandaconda, Earth Power!"
"Sanda!" Sandaconda waves its tail and slams it on the ground.
The ground below Silicobra and Toxtricity explodes, knocking them back.
"Duraludon, Breaking Swipe!" Raihan calls out.
"Dura Dura!" Duraludon runs ahead to Silicobra and Toxtricity, before spins and swipes its tail at the two, knocking them back.
"Sili!"
"Toxt Icit!"
"Toxtricity, use Poison Jab!" Victor instructs.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity strums its chest, before its arm surrounded with purple energy and charges, stabbing at Duraludon, who blocked with its arm.
"Dura Dura."
"Toxt Icit?!"
"Poison Jab had no effect on Duraludon?" Victor realizes. "It must because it's a Steel-type." He then holds out a hand. "Then Silicobra, attack with Brutal Swing!"
"Sili!" Silicobra jumps ahead, as Toxtricity backs away.
"Sandaconda, Protect!" Raihan calls out, as Sandaconda slithers ahead.
"Sanda!" Sandaconda jumps in front of Duraludon, with a green barrier appearing in front of it, as Silicobra's tail swings against the barrier.
"Now grab it with Fire Fang!" Raihan instructs.
The green barrier disappears, as Sandaconda lunges forward, with fangs made from flames appear around its mouth, "Sanda!"
Sandaconda bites onto Silicobra's tail.
"Sili!"
Sandaconda spins and throws Silicobra, sending it flying across the ground.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity turns to the side.
"Toxtricity, use Acid!" Victor instructs.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity shoots a glob of acid from its mouth.
"Dura Dura!" Duraludon moves in front of Sandaconda, with its arms crossed, blocking the glob of acid.
"Now Spark!" Victor calls out.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity strums its chest, before shooting out a blast of electricity.
"Sanda!" Sandaconda moves in front of Duraludon, lowering its head, blocking the blast of electricity.
"Counter with Earth Power!" Raihan instructs.
"Sanda!" Sandaconda slams its tail onto the ground.
The ground below Toxtricity explodes, knocking it back, "Toxt Icit!"
"Toxtricity!" Victor calls out, before looking to the side. "Silicobra, Headbutt!"
"Sili…" Silicobra raises its head, and slithers ahead. "Sili!"
"Duraludon, show them who's really hard headed, with your Iron Head!" Raihan instructs.
"Dura Dura!" Duraludon runs ahead, with its head turning silver.
Duraludon and Silicobra's heads collide, before Silicobra gets knocked back.
"Sili…" Silicobra shakes its head.
"Silicobra, Bulldoze!" Victor calls out.
"Sili!" Silicobra starts to slam its tail against the ground, shaking it.
"Dura Dura!"
"Sanda!"
Duraludon and Sandaconda jump back.
"They're so powerful and fast, there has to be something we could do," Victor thinks, before seeing Toxtricity getting damaged by the sandstorm as it stands up.
"Toxt Icit…"
"Sili…" Silicobra looks at Toxtricity, concerned.
Toxtricity exhausts, before starting to strum its chest, with Victor and Silicobra listening to its music.
After a few moments of music, Victor exhausts, "I honestly don't know if we can win this, but we're gonna give our best and that is more than enough."
Toxtricity and Silicobra nod their heads.
"Toxt Icit."
"Sili."
Gloria smiles in the stands.
"Sweet, now, use Earth Power and Stone Edge!" Raihan holds out a hand.
"Sanda!" Sandaconda slams its tail onto the ground.
"Dura Dura!" Duraludon punches into the ground.
"Toxtricity, use Stone Edge as step stools! Silicobra counters with Bulldoze, then uses Dig!" Victor calls out.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity strums its chest, before jumping up, as large sharpened stones shoot out of the ground and jump across the stones.
"Sili!" Silicobra slams its tail onto the ground, with the ground exploding, before it jumps back and digs into the ground.
"Toxtricity, use Spark!" Victor calls out.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity leaps above Duraludon, strums its chest, as it starts to surge with electricity.
"Sanda!" Sandaconda slithers ahead.
"Headbutt!" Victor calls out.
"Iron Head!" Raihan calls out.
Silicobra bursts out of the ground, "Sili!"
"Dura Dura!" Duraludon rises up with its head turned silver.
Silicobra slams its head against Sandaconda, as Toxtricity shoots a blast of electricity at Duraludon's charging head, before all four Pokémon get knocked far back.
"Toxtricity, Silicobra, are you okay?" Victor asks.
"Toxt Icit," Toxtricity pushes itself onto its feet and strums its chest, then nods its head. "Toxt Icit."
"Sili," Silicobra raises its head, before sighing and nodding its head. "Sili."
"Well done," Raihan applause, as Duraludon and Sandaconda get up. "I'm really impressed by your and your Pokémon's strength. And I think it's only fair, if I show you our strength."
"Go, Duraludon!" Raihan holds out a Poké Ball, which shoots a beam, turning Duraludon into red energy, flies back into the Poké Ball, which becomes surrounded by a large red Poké Ball, as Raihan turns, "Gigantamaxes!"
Raihan throws the large Poké Ball, which shoots out a glowing Duraludon, who grows, with its head getting longer and longer, before the glowing ceases, "Dura Dura!"
Duraludon lowers its arm, with Sandaconda jumping onto it. Duraludon raises its arm, while Sandaconda jumps onto its head.
Toxtricity strums its chest, as Victor looks ahead, "Okay, win or lose, we will give our all."
Victor then notices his Dynamax Band gives a small glow, before he nods his head.
Toxtricity turns into red energy and flies into Victor's Poké Ball, which becomes surrounded with a large Poké Ball, "Go, Toxtricity!" He turns and throws the Poké Ball. "Gigantamaxes!"
The Poké Ball opens, shooting out a glowing Toxtricity who grows, before falls onto all four, with a transmission tower-like tail shoots out, and it ceases glowing, "Toxt Icit!"
"Sili…" Silicobra looks up at Toxtricity.
"Toxt Icit," Toxtricity holds out a hand.
"Sili," Silicobra nods its head and jumps onto Toxtricity's hand.
"Toxt Icit," Toxtricity places Silicobra on its head.
Raihan smiles, before holding a hand, "Duraludon, Max Knuckle!"
"Dura Dura!" Duraludon throws a punch, launching an energy punch.
"Toxtricity, counter with Max Ooze!" Victor instructs.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity slams its hands down on the ground, with a geyser of acid shoots out, consuming the energy punch.
"Sandaconda, let's shake things up with Earth Power!" Raihan instructs.
"Sanda!" Sandaconda jumps off Duraludon's head and slams its tail against the ground.
The ground below one of Toxtricity's feet explodes, getting the foot caught in a hole.
"Toxt Icit?!"
"Now, Fire Fang!" Raihan instructs.
"Sanda!" Sandaconda lands on Duraludon's arm, before jumping up again, with fangs formed from flames around its mouth. "Sanda!"
"Brutal Swing!" Victor calls out.
"Sili!" Silicobra jumps off Toxtricity's head, spins in midair and slams its tail against Sandaconda, sending it flying.
"Sanda!" Sandaconda slams against the Max Barrier, before falling down and landing hard, with its eyes swirling. "Sanda…"
"Sandaconda is unable to battle!" Dan announces.
"Not bad, not that it matter much," Raihan says, before pointing at Toxtricity, breathing heavily. "Your Toxtricity already taken a lot of damage, from battling and the sandstorm. This battle is already over."
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity shakes its head, with Silicobra, seating on its head, cowers slightly. "Toxt Icit!"
"Sili…" Silicobra raises its head, and nods it with a smile. "Sili!"
"I'm with my Pokémon, we're not done," Victor says.
"Again, I'm impressed, very well," Raihan holds out a hand. "Duraludon, G-Max Depletion!"
"Dura Dura!" Duraludon calls out, as a wave of explosion shoots out from it.
"Toxtricity, counter with Max Ooze!" Victor inctructs.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity slams its hands on the ground.
A geyser of acid shoots up, colliding with the wave of explosion, causing a massive explosion.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity is forced back a couple steps, freeing one of its feet from the ground.
"It shouldn't take much now," Raihan crosses his arms. "Duraludon, Max Rockfall!"
Dura Dura!" Duraludon slams its arms down, with a giant slab of stone rising up.
"Sili," Silicobra says to Toxtricity, whose eyes look up at it. It then motions its head to the side. "Sili, Sili, Sili!"
"You want… Toxtricity to throw you?" Victor realizes.
"Toxt Icit, Toxt Icit," Toxtricity says.
"It's okay, Toxtricity, I think I know what Silicobra's thinking," Victor says. "Let's trust it."
"Toxt Icit," Toxtricity says, before grabbing Silicobra off its head.
"Dura Dura!" Duraludon calls out, as the giant stone slab starts to move forward.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity throws Silicobra, who starts to flips forward.
"Bulldoze!" Victor calls out.
"Sili!" Silicobra, still flipping, slams its tail against the stone slab, which shatters.
As the stone slab shatters away, Duraludon starts to throw a punch.
Toxtricity catches the punch, "Toxt Icit!"
"G-Max Stun Shock!" Victor calls out.
Toxtricity holds out its other hand, as electricity surges around it and forms a giant guitar, before slams it against Duraludon, blasting it with electricity, "Toxt Icit!"
"Dura Dura!" Duraludon is forced back a couple steps.
"Toxt Icit…" Toxtricity is breathing heavily, as well as Silicobra, who is on its head.
"Your Pokémon are almost out of steam, meaning this will end it," Raihan says, before he holds out a hand. "Duraludon, G-Max Depletion!"
"Dura… Dura…" Duraludon tries to move, but small surges of electricity run around it.
"What, Duraludon's paralyzied?" Raihan realizes, looking up at his Pokémon. "It must be a side-effect of Stun Shock!"
"Here's our chance!" Victor holds out a hand. "Toxtricity, G-Max Stun Shock! Silicobra, Headbutt!"
"Sili!" Silicobra jumps off Toxtricity's head, with its own head lowered.
"Toxt Icit!" Toxtricity holds up a guitar formed from electricity, before slams it down, shooting out a blast of electricity, as it surrounds Silicobra.
The electricity-covered Silicobra slams against Duraludon, sending out a shockwave, as Duraludon falls back and glows, shrinking back to normal.
"Dura Dura…" Duraludon lies on the ground, with its eyes whirling.
"Duraludon is unable to battle!" Dan announces, as the sandstorm ends. "The winner is Gym Challenger Victor!"
"Alright!" Gloria calls out, as she and her Pokémon cheer.
Toxtricity, after glowing and shrinking, returns to normal, "Toxt Icit…"
"Sili," Silicobra slithers over to Toxtricity.
"Are you okay?" Victor runs over to his Pokémon.
"Toxt Icit," Toxtricity strums its chest, before looking up at its Trainer with a smile.
Victor smiles, before he throws up four Poké Balls, which shoot out red beams.
"Cinder Ace!"
"Knigh!"
"Pika Pi!"
"Tovis!"
"Everyone, we did it," Victor tells his Pokémon. "We won the eighth Gym Battle!"
Raihan approaches them, "Y'know, it's still not official." Victor and his Pokémon turn to him. "Not, without this."
Raihan holds out a badge designed to resemble a dragon's head and neck, "The Dragon Badge."
The Dragon Badge is added to the metal ring.
"Alright!" Victor holds up the completed metal ring. "We had finally made it!"
The audience starts to cheer.
In the Energy Plant, Rose is in the center of the room, looking at some glowing energy.
Rose grins, "I had finally made it."
"Victor had done it! He won his eighth Gym Badge. But what is Chairman Rose up to, and will it ruin our hero's victorious moment?"
