Sam eyed the deserted schoolyard from his hiding place, rubbing his cast across the tree bark. Dean was in the nearby cemetery, waiting for him to ID the spirit. Then, Dean could dig up and torch the girl's bones. Sam couldn't dig with his broken arm and time was crucial; school started tomorrow.
The night air grew chilled and a ten-year old girl appeared, skipping rope and chanting. "Strawberry shortcake, huckleberry thin. When you hear your birthday, please pop in…"
Skimming through the elementary students' class pictures, Sam located her. He spoke into his cell phone. "Doris Pullman."
"On it."
