Dean watched from the shadows as Don Donovan, warlock-in-training, stirred the boiling pot. Donovan sprinkled something over the pot and started chanting. Can't wait any longer, Sammy!
Dean stepped forward, gun trained on Donovan. "Freeze!"
"Ha! I knew you weren't cops. No real cop says freeze—that's only on TV." The warlock threw another ingredient into the pot, which was bubbling madly. He flicked his raised arm towards Dean, and Dean's gun flew out of his hand.
Thwack!Donovan slumped to the floor, and Sam stepped from behind him. "Let's go!"
Dean retrieved his gun, glaring. "Took you long enough!"
