They stopped at a diner on the edge of Hibbing for lunch and to change into their Fed suits. Getting settled into the Impala, their doors closed in sync. Sam's half-smile faded and he turned a concerned gaze on Dean, only to be met with twin worry and concern in Dean's eyes.
"Y'okay with being back here?"
"Me-? You're the one who's sporting the mar—" Abruptly, Sam closed his mouth. Oh. Unexplained, well-picked over bodies in Hibbing. The Benders. And Dean being Dean, my over-protective big brother. "I'm fine. I've got you to watch my back."
"Always, Sammy."
A/N: Okay, if I picked up on this, they certainly should have. There's thousands of other towns in Minnesota that they could've used instead of Hibbing or Blue Earth. Or they could've thrown in a Benders reference when the guys were discussing the case, but noooo. I debated whether Dean would call him "Sam" or "Sammy", but I went with my gut on this one.
