Dean swallowed another forkful of scrambled eggs, eyeing Sam. His brother was staring at him from across the table. "Are you groaking me, Sammy? There's plenty left on the stove, help yourself."
"I—groaking?" Sam mumbled, blood-shot eyes meeting Dean's in confusion.
"Silently begging for an invitation to eat."
"No! 'M not hungry." Sam swallowed, mumbling, "Jus' makin' sure you're really here."
"How much whiskey did you drink last night? You look crapulous."
"Was celebratin'," Sam defended. "'Crapulous?'"
"Obsolete word for 'craptastic'. Those Men of Letters have books on everything – including hangover cures. Sit tight, I'll make it for you."
