Sam and Dean stepped into the black SUV, back doors slamming in sync. "We need to stop at the airport before work," Sam told the driver.
The car smoothly turned into the street as Sam dug into his pocket. Mindful of their chauffeur, Sam avoided mentioning his brother's name as he handed Dean a small packet.
Dean glanced at him questioningly, hands going over the too-many-sided candy package.
"Thought it might cheer you up. I know you were upset after seeing baby and everything yesterday."
"Smarties?"
"Closest thing to peanut M&M's you can get in Canada."
"We gotta get home."
A.N. My first idea was using Dean's "college boy thinks he's so smart" jibe, but that has a first-second season vibe to it and I wanted to write something a few years closer to the present season 10/11.
