Author's note.
Here's the first duel of the series. It's Yuya vs Missi Zilla vs Alyssa. A three person fight to the finish. Also, from now on, REAL archetypes are gonna have their cards shown. So, leave a review, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
Chapter 4
The Abyss and the Battlesaur
"A duel between two demons and a human", said Nico. "This is going be quite interesting. For all those who are at home, we've got quite the surprise for you. The three way duel between Missi Zilla, Alyssa and Yuya. Now, stand back, relax and enjoy the duel". Yuya, Missi Zilla and Alyssa then turned on their duel disks.
"LET'S DUEL!"
Yuya: 4000
Alyssa: 4000
Missi Zilla: 4000
"Since I pride myself as a gentleman", said Yuya. "Ladies first".
"Which one?" Alyssa and Missi Zilla asked.
"Okay", said Yuya. "First, Missi will go, then Alyssa, then me".
"Fine by me, my move", said Missi Zilla drawing the top card of her deck. "I summon Battlesaur Steggo, in attack mode". Her monster was a dark green Anthropomorphic wearing shoulder guards, arm guards and a loincloth.

"I'll place these two cards facedown and end my tun" said Missi Zilla.
"Then it's my move", said Alyssa drawing the top card of her deck. "Since there are no cards in my spell and trap card zone, I can special summon this card directly from my hand. Well, actually, these cards, because I got to copies of General of the Abyssal Kingdom". Her new monsters were orange skinned demons decked out in red knight armour and had axes in both hands.

"Two monsters in one turn" said Yuya impressed.
In the world of the living.
"Guys! Guys!", shouted Skip. "Yuya's duelling!". Zuzu, Sora, Yoko, Gong, Tate, Allie and Fredrick then ran into the living room to see the duel.
"Who's he duelling?" Asked Zuzu.
"Two sinners from hell", answered Skip. "One's named Missi Zilla and the other's called Alyssa".
In hell.
"I now overlay my two level 5 Generals", said Alyssa performing the summon. "With here two monsters, I construct the Overlay Network! I xyz summon! Twin Lancer of The Abyssal Kingdom!". Alyssa's new monster was a green skinned demon wearing battle armour and had lances in place of hands.

"I'll end my turn" said Alyssa.
"Then it's my turn to put on a show", said Yuya as he drew the top card of his deck. "I summon Performapal Skullcrobat Joker!". Yuya's new monster was a Caucasian skinned man with long blonde hair wearing a black suit with black clown pants and black shoes. He also wore a black, patchwork hat with a purple skull on the front.

"When he's normal summoned", said Yuya. "I can add one 'Performapal', 'Magician' pendulum monster or 'Odd-Eyes' monster from my deck to my hand". A card then popped out of his deck and he placed it in his hand.
"Next, I summon Performapal Helprincess" said Yuya. Her new monster was a little girl with purple hair tied into pigtails and wore a pink dress. She had a phone in one hand and a green staff in the other.

"I can special summon her from my hand if I normal summoned a 'Performapal' monster this turn", said Yuya. "Next, I activate, Performapal Energy Bars. Thanks to this spell, if I have any 'Performapal' monsters on my field, for this turn only, they gain 1000 extra attack points".
Performapal Skullcrobat Joker
ATK: 1800 + 1000 = 2800
Performapal Helprincess
ATK: 1200 + 1000 = 2200
"Now, Joker! Attack Lancer!" Shouted Yuya. Skullcrobat Joker then took off his hat and a glittery beam shot out of it.
"I activate Spirit Shield of the Abyssal Kingdom to send it to the graveyard from my hand", said Alyssa. So now my monster doesn't have to go anywhere". A shield then protected Lancer.
Alyssa: 4000 - 200 = 3800
"Now, Helprincess! Give Battlesaur Stego a helping hand!" Shouted Yuya. Helprincess then charged forward and was about to swing her staff when….
"I activate my trap, Roar of Battle", said Missi Zilla. "When a Dinosaur is involved in battle, I can add an extra 1000 attack points to my monster".
In the living world.
"This is bad" said Fredrick.
"With an extra 1000 attack points", said Tate. "That'll bring the total to 2600".
In Hell.
Battlesaur Steggo
ATK: 1600 + 1000 = 2600
Steggo then punched Helprincess and destroyed her.
Yuya: 4000 - 400 = 3600
"Now for Steggo's ability", said Missi Zilla. "When he deals damage in battle, I can excavate the top 5 cards of my deck. AND if any of them are dinosaurs, I can add one of them to my hand". She then drew the top five cards of her deck and looked at them.
"I see a dinosaur", said Missi Zilla. "So that gets added to my hand and the others go back to my deck which is then shuffled".
'These two sure are good Duelists', thought Yuya. 'I'm gonna have to pull out all the stops'.
"I end my turn with a facedown" said Yuya.
"Then it's my move", said Missi Zilla drawing the top card of her deck. "I summon, the Tuner Monster, Battlesaur Compi". Her new monster was a anthropomorphic compi decked out in battle attire".

"A tuner monster" said Yuya.
"Since you're such a good duelist, I bet you know what's coming next. I tune my level 2 Compi worth my level 4 Steggo", said Missi Zilla performing the summon. "I synchro summon Battlesaur Champion Styraco!". Her new monster was an anthropomorphic Styracosaurus decked out in battle armour.

"Now attack Skullcrobat Joker!" Shouted Missi Zilla. Her monster then charged forward with it's head down and destroyed Joker.
Yuya: 3600 - 700 = 2900
"And now for my monster's special ability", said Missi Zilla. "When it deals damage in battle, you take damage equal to half that monsters attack points. Your joker had 1800, so 900 damage is coming your way".
"Not so fast, I activate, Performapal Confetti Cannon", said Yuya. "Since I took damage while I had a 'Performapal' on my field, any damage I take for the rest of this turn, YOU TWO take as well".
"WHAT!?" Shouted Missi Zilla.
Two confetti cannons appeared in front of Alyssa and Missi Zilla.
Yuya: 2900 - 900 = 2000
The cannons then went off.
Missi Zilla: 4000 - 900 = 3100
Alyssa: 3800 - 900 = 2900
"Not a bad move", said Missi Zilla. "I'll place this facedown and end my turn".
"Finally, it is my turn again", said Alyssa drawing the top card of her deck. "I play Allure of the Abyssal Kingdom. Since I have no spell cards in my graveyard, I can banish this card to add three dark monsters of the same level from my deck to my hand". Three cards then popped out of Alyssa's Duel Disk and she took them out.
"The three cards I chose were each a copy of Merchant of the Abyssal Kingdom to my hand", said Alyssa. "Now, since they were added to my hand because of an effect, I can now summon each of them directly to the field". Three goblins dressed up as merchants appeared on her field.

"I now overlay my three Merchants", said Alyssa performing the summon. "With the power of these three creatures, I construct the Overlay Network. I Xyz summon! Wilderness Hunter of the Abyssal Kingdom!". Alyssa's new monster was a green skinned demon that was dressed like a forest hunter.

"Now attack Yuya with Nightfall arrows!" Shouted Alyssa. Her hunter then drew out an arrow from a quiver and then fired it.
"Not so fast, I activate, Performapal Call!", shouted Yuya. "I hope you weren't planning on winning because thanks to this trap, your monster's attack is stopped cold. Not only that, but I can add 'Performapal' monsters from my deck to my hand, as long as their defence points add up to your monster's attack points". Three cards then popped out of his deck.
"Your Hunter has 2500 attack points", said Yuya. "So, I get to add Pendulum Sorcerer with 800 defence points, Odd-Eyes Minotaur with 1600 and Trump Witch with 100".
"Hm, quite a move", said Alyssa. "I'll place this facedown and end my turn".
"Here we go", said Yuya drawing the top card of his deck. "Now, for what the crowd's been waiting for. I use Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Time Gazer Magician to set the Pendulum scale. I'm taking control of this duel, starting now". He then placed the two cards on opposite ends of his duel disk. His two monster then floated beside him in pillars of light. Stargazer had the number '1' underneath it and Time Gazer had the number '8' underneath it.
"So THIS is a pendulum scale" said Missi Zilla.
"This is quite a dazzling development" said Alyssa.
"Thanks to these two, I can summon monsters who's levels range from 2 to 7 all at the same time", said Yuya. "Swing far Pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready, TO SWING INTO ACTION!" Several beams of light came out from a hole that formed.
"Dazzle the crowd with you magic Pendulum Sorcerer".
The first monster was a human with blue hair wearing a red and silver magicians/performers outfit with a matching top hat and carried a hypnosis pendent.

"Hope you have your funniest jokes ready Skullcrobat Joker".
His monster then returned to the field.
"Stomp to it Odd-Eyes Minotaur".
The new monster was a maroon Minotaur with blue hair carrying a battle axe and had hetrochromic eyes.

"So this is a pendulum summon", said Alyssa sounding quite impressed. "Quite a display".
"If you think THAT'S a nice display, check out my spell card, Banner Bamboozle", said Yuya. "Thanks to this card, since I have a 'Performapal' monster on my field, I can have your monster's tied up and their attack points cut in half until the end of the turn". Suddenly streamers then tied up Alyssa's and Missi Zilla's monsters.

Lancer of the Abyssal Kingdom
ATK: 2600 - 1300 = 1300
"Now, Sorcerer! Attack Hunter with Hyper Hypno Blast!" Shouted Yuya. A blast of energy came out of the sorcerer's pendent and destroyed Hunter.
Alyssa: 2900 - 250 = 2650
"Now, Joker! Attack Lancer!"
Joker then took off his hat and a beam of energy came out of it and destroyed Lancer.
Alyssa: 2650 - 250 = 2400
"Now you've done it", said Alyssa. "Since you just destroyed an Xyz monster, I can activate the trap Overlay Bomb. Since an Xyz monster was destroyed I can now deal 200 damage to you for each Overlay unit attached to an Xyz monster that was destroyed this turn. So, since there were 5 overlay units. That's 1000 points". Five blue energy balls then struck Yuya.
Yuya: 2000 - 1000 = 1000
"I'll end my turn with a facedown" said Yuya.
"My move then, I draw", said Missi Zilla drawing the top card of her deck. "If I cut it's attack, defence and level in half, I can special summon Battlesaur Pachyseph". Her new monster was an anthropomorphic pachycephalosaurus wearing battle armour.

"Next, I play fossil resurrection", said Missi Zilla. "This card allows me to bring one Dinosaur monster back from my graveyard and I choose Battlesaur Compi". Compi then reappeared on her field.
"I'm not liking where this is going" said Yuya.
"Ya shouldn't, I tune my level 2 Compi with my level 2 Pachyseph and level 6 Styraco", said Missi Zilla performing the summon. "Let's see how this champion of the Jurassic battlefield treats your ass. I synchro summon! Battlesaur Champion Tyranno!". Her new monster was a black scaled Tyrannosaurus rex with scars covering it's body and it wore battle armour.

"3600 attack points!" Shouted Yuya.
"Yes, and they're all heading towards you", said Missi Zilla. "Now! Tyranno! Attack Pendulum Sorcerer with Prehistoric Pulveriser!". Tyranno then drew it's arm back and launched it forward.
"Not so fast, I active Star Booster", said Yuya. "Thanks to this, since I have 1000 life points or less, when I'm attacked, I can gain life points equal to the levels of my monsters times 500. Since the total is 12, I can now gain 6000 life points".
Yuya: 1000 + 6000 = 7000
Tyranno then destroyed Sorcerer.
Yuya: 7000 - 2100 = 4900
"And that's not all", said Missi Zilla. "Once a turn, if you still have a monster out on the field, I can remove a dinosaur from my graveyard to attack again! Attack that Joker!". Tyranno then destroyed Joker.
Yuya: 4900 - 1800 = 3100
"I end my turn" said Missi Zilla.
"Then my turn has arrived once again", said Alyssa drawing the top card of her deck. "I activate the spell, Abyssal Soul Resurrection. Thanks to this spell, I can summon 2 dark monsters from my graveyard, but their effects are negated. So welcome back my two Generals of the Abyssal Kingdom". Her two monsters then appeared on her field.
"Now, I overlay both of my monsters", said Alyssa performing the summon. "By the overlaying of these two monsters, an Overlay Network has been created. I Xyz summon! King of The Abyssal Kingdom!". Her new monster was an orange skin demon that wore royal robes and had an obsidian crown upon his head.

"Now, attack Odd-Eyes Minotaur! Dark Decree!" Shouted Alyssa. Her monster then lifted up a finger and dark energy shot out and destroyed Minotaur.
Yuya: 3100 - 1700 = 1400
"Now for my monster's ability", said Alyssa. "Since he destroyed a monster, I can use an overlay unit to inflict you with damage equal to half that monster's attack points. Go! Dark Suffering!". One of the orbs orbiting King then went into his crown and lasers then fired out of it's eyes and then struck Yuya.
Yuya: 1400 - 600 = 800
"I end my turn" said Alyssa.
"I must say ladies, this has been an excellent duel by you two, but now, I draw", said Yuya drawing the top card of his deck. "It's time for the grand finale, and with our first act, we have Stargazer and Time Gazer as they make the rest of our performers appear. My monsters a ready to swing into action!". Beams of light then came out of a portal.
"Give a warm welcome to Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer". His monster then appeared on the field.
"Get your punchlines ready Skullcrobat Joker". His monster then appeared on his field.
"Get ready to charge forward Odd-Eyes Minotaur". His monster then appeared on the field.
"And last but not least, turn up the heat, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". His monster then appeared on the field.
"Quite an impressive group of monsters you have there", said Missi Zilla. "But, I'm afraid that none of them are strong enough to defeat either of our monsters".
"That's why I'm playing the power of the spell card, Pendulum Spirit Force", said Yuya. "Since I have a field of only pendulum monsters, one monster on my field gains 100 attack points equal to the combine pendulum scales of all my other pendulum monsters". Alyssa kinda gasped at this.
"So, with Sorcerer's scale at 2, Minotaur's at 6 and Joker's at 8", said Alyssa. "That's a total of 1600".
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon
ATK: 2500 + 1600 = 4100
"Ooooooooh, 4100 attack points" said Missi Zilla.
"Now! Odd-Eyes! Attack Battlesaur Champion Tyranno! Spiral Flame Strike!" Shouted Yuya. Odd-Eyes then launched it's attack.
"And since your monster is above level 5", said Yuya. "Any damage you take is doubles". Tyranno was then destroyed.
Missi Zilla: 4000 - 1000 = 3000
"Now for the grand finale, I activate, Performapal Light Show", said Yuya. "Thanks to this card, one monster I control can attack an extra time for every 'Performapal' monster on my field".
"You got three 'Performapal' monsters", said Alyssa. "So, you can attack three times".
"That's right", said Yuya. "Let's dazzle them Odd-Eyes! First, attack Missi Zilla directly! Spiral Flame Strike!". Odd-Eyes then launched it's attack and hit Missi Zilla. The force of the attack sent her falling on her back.
Missi Zilla: 3000 - 4100 = 0
"Now, attack King of the Abyssal Kingdom!" Shouted Yuya. Odd-Eyes then destroyed King.
Alyssa: 2900 - 1200 = 1700
"Now, for the final act!", shouted Yuya. "Attack Alyssa directly!". Odd-Eyes then launched it's attack at Alyssa. The force was so great it forced her off her feet.
Alyssa: 1700 - 4100 = 0
'The match is over and Yuya Sakaki is the winner'. The monsters then disappeared.
"That was quite a lovely duel there you two" said Yuya. Missi Zilla and Alyssa then got up.
"Not bad yourself" said Missi Zilla.
"Well, as lovely as this is", said Alyssa. "We must be on our way, see you around Yuya". The two female sinners then left the mansion and back out into the city. After that, Nico then decided to have a chat to Yuya.
"Okay, Nico, what did you want to talk about?" Asked Yuya.
"How good are you at finding strong duelists?" Asked Nico.
