Author's note.
Here's Rosie's first duel of the series. That's right, I said first, so, she'll have more down the line. Also, if Arc-V Jack Atlas can have an archetype dedicated to 'Red Dragon Archfiend', then I'm pretty sure Rosie can have a plant, 'Rose' and 'Rose Dragon' based deck. Chapter 8
Duelist of Roses Part 1

Yuya: 4000
"You may go first Rosie" said Yuya.
"Why thank you, I draw", said Rosie drawing the top card of her deck. "I play the field spell, Black Rose Garden". The area around them then turned into a large rose garden. The only difference was the roses were black.
"What's up with the flowers?" Asked Yuya.
"Have you ever heard of the old saying 'every rose has it's thorns?'", asked Rosie. "Well, that is certainly true here. Thanks to my lovely garden all of my plant type monsters or monsters with 'rose' in their name gain 600 attack points during my battle phase if their attack points are lower than the attack points of your monsters. And there's more, I can send any plant monster from my hand to graveyard to make the attack points of one monster on the field 0 for that turn. Finally if a monster is summoned, the player who didn't conduct that summon gets what's called a 'Black Rose Token'. True it can't be destroyed in battle, but it can't attack either".
"Wow, all that from a field spell" said Yuya.
"And what's a little garden party without a few guests?", asked Rosie. "I summon Black Rose Pixie in attack mode". Rosie's new monster was a pixie with lime green skin, red eyes, pink hair done up in buns that look like roses and she had pale pink wings on her back. She wore a black dress that was layered like a rose and there were pink highlights on each hem.

"You my field spell?", asked Rosie. "Well, now you get a Black Rose Token". A large black rose then appeared on Yuya's field.

In the living world.
"Guys!", shouted Skip. "Yuya's duelling again". Everyone ran into the room and looked at the tv.
"Who's he duelling?" Asked Zuzu.
"Some woman named Rosie" answered Skip.
In hell.
"Let's get this show on the road", said Yuya drawing the top card of his deck. "I summon Performapal Whip Snake". Yuya's new monster was a purple cobra wearing a top hat and yellow bow tie. At the end of it's tail was a whip handle.

"Now I get MY token" said Rosie. Her Black Rose Token then appeared on her field.
"Now, attack Black Rose Pixie!" Shouted Yuya. Whip Snake then lunged towards Black Rose Pixie.
"I'm afraid that your snake is about to get into a prickly predicament", said Rosie. "For I activate the trap card, prickled wall". Thorn covered vines then surrounded Black Rose Pixie and protected her from Whip Snake. "This lovely trap of mine activates when one of my monsters is attacked. Not only is my little monster protected, but you take 700 points of damage". Some thorns on the wall grew longer and pricked Yuya's skin.
Yuya: 4000 - 700 = 3300
"I'll place this facedown and end my turn" said Yuya.
"Well, now it's my turn", said Rosie drawing the top card of her deck. "First, I'll return my lovely little Black Rose Pixie to my hand". Her monster then became a beam of pink light and it returned to her hand.
In the living world.
"Why would she return her pixie to her hand?" Asked Fredrick.
"I don't know, but I bet it's something big" answered Tate.
In Hell.
"With that done I can summon this lovely doll from my hand", said Rosie. "Fallen Angel of Roses. Please sprout up my dear". A large, closed up purple rose appeared on the field. Then, the rose opened up to reveal a young woman with rot green skin and long, straight dark purple hair. She wore a headband that had little purple bat wings on the side, a purple-black corset with cloth around the leg area, a choker with a rose attached to it, she wore purple-black arm covers and thigh-high boots of the same colour. She had a pair of purple, feathery wings and carried a thorn cover whip in her hand.

"Another Black Rose Token for you" said Rosie. Another token then appeared on Yuya's field.
"Now, it's time for your Whip Snake to get a dose of it's own medicine", said Rosie. "Curse Rose Whip!". Her monster then lashed out with her whip, striking Whip Snake and destroying him.
Yuya: 3300 - 700 = 2600
"Next, I'll summon my Rose Princess in attack mode" said Rosie. Her new monster was a fairy that had pink skin, sparkly eyes and a hairstyle similar to a rose. She wore a red dress, black arm covers with roses at the fingers and a golden necklace around her neck.

Another Black Rose Token appeared on Yuya's field.
"Next, I play card seeds", said Rosie. "Thanks to this, all I need to do is send two plant monsters from my hand to the graveyard and I can draw two cards from my deck. So, I discard Rose Witch and Rose Lover from my hand to the graveyard to draw two cards". She then drew the top two cards of her deck.
"I'll place these two facedown and end my turn" said Rosie.
"Then it's my move", said Yuya as he drew the top card of his deck. "So far you've been guiding me through your garden. Well, now it's time you take my hand so I guide you through tonight's show. I'll use scale 1 Performapal Monkeyboard and scale 8 Performapal Skullcrobat Joker to set the pendulum scale. I'm taking control of this duel, starting now". He then placed his two cards at opposite ends of his monster card tray and the word 'pendulum' appeared on it. The two monsters, one being the joker monster and the other a maroon furred monkey wearing a blue suit, had keyboard key teeth and rode a unicycle appeared in two pillars of light.
"Oh goodie", said Rosie. "I finally get to see your famous pendulum summon in person. Please, do not disappoint".
"I won't ma'am", said Yuya. "Thanks to these two, I can now summon monsters whose levels range from 2 to 7 all at the same time. Swing far pendulum, carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready, TO SWING INTO ACTION!". Three lights the came down.
"Prepare to hypnotise the crowd, Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer". His monster then appeared.
"Dazzle the crowd, Cheermole". The monster was a pink mole in a green cheerleader outfit carrying two Pom poms.

"Prepare your stinger, Kaleidoscorp". The new monster was a red scorpion in a top hat with shields instead of pincers and a kaleidoscope instead of a stinger.

"Oh my, what a dazzling display", said Rosie as she clapped her hands. "My wig is absolutely blown by this amazing display". Two more black rose tokens appeared on her field.
"Well, there's more to come", said Yuya. "I tribute my two tokens to summon Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon".
"Oh, your famous Odd-Eyes", said Rosie sounding impressed. "It's even more marvellous in real life than it is on the picture show".
"If you found that entertaining", said Yuya. "Wait until you see the final act".
"Really?", asked Rosie. "Oh my my, I can't wait. But I should warn you, this delicate, little flower, still has thorns".
